I had masala dosa, idli and medu wada that is typically basic south Indian food. Idli could have been better. Masala dosa and medu wada were good. Sambhar and chutney were perfect neither too spicy nor too bland. Overall good South India outlet.
Awesome test
Delivery time is good
Zometo is nice
I m impressed very vell
I m really like this
I m big fan of zomato
Lovely zomato good and very good
You can explore many types of dosas over here if you are a great dosa lover. Tried American spaghetti dosa which was good enough to help my hunger for the day.
The food tastes amazing .. And my favourite is the schewan sizzler 😚 it's really yum
And favourite dosa prem dosa and maharaja dosa😚😚.
Dosa plaza please never loose this taste .
It's quite a cosy place to hangout and chill. They serve variety of dosas with amazing modifications and taste. The menu is pocket friendly and the ambience is soothing. You can anytime visit the place in case you are craving for South Indian cuisine.
Nice place to visit , good main course and starter . 🙂 Nice atmosphere , good vibes but it's quite expensive . Taste is good nice place to visit average 550for 2
I'm a big fan of South Indian food and this place being in North has some what justified - South Indian food. Dosa was amazing. Button idly and sambhar - Perfect. Rassam- Perfect. Filter coffee needs improvement. Delicious chutneys! Great place for people looking out for South Indian food.
I love this place. We went there about 2 month ago and we all felt the taste of traditional South Indian. There variety of masala dosa and desert ice cream are very delicious and tasty I think you should take order online via Zomato so that we can order online and get your great food with great offer of zomato I am fully satisfied with your tasty food and your staff responsible behaviour.
Nice place to go on a summer day...
The ambiance of place is good..
The Staff is really corporative and responsible...
I ordered schezwan noodle dosa and it turned out really well...
Had a perfect authentic taste...
Also the Icecream Choco Brownie Fudge was great..
Overall it was a nice experience...
I'm referring to their outlet at the celebration mall. Long story short, the Mysore Masala Dosa is O M G !
I've heard mixed reviews about this place but as the first impression matters, my experience with this preparation was exceedingly good. More chutneys to be added and the sambhar could be improved a bit still good.
I visited dosa plaza in celebration mall
So it offers a lot of variety of dosas which is creative
When it came to order i got so confused between springroll dosa or chinese delight dosa finally ended up ordering springroll dosa it was written it costs Rs148 but the bill was of 180 i think they should include taxes in their prices itself.
It was served nicely taste was good but then i think they should have served salsa sauce also with it.
If you are fond of South Indian food and especially dosas, you gotta visit this place. It offers variety of different dosas in nominal prices.
I have visited this place yesterday. They serve great variety of dosas & other south-indian dishes. But when it comes to the taste it was more than okay. Taste can be improven. Ambience is also pretty good.
A good weekend place for delicious South Indian food. The food here is more of a masala South Indian than an authentic one. Tried the paneer dosa, sambhar vada & pizza dosa. All were good in taste. Ambiance is also nice...
Variety available in Dosas and a nice peaceful place to be in. South Indian, especially the Dosas, are good but they can do better with the waiters as that also becomes important when it comes to comfort of visitors.
Dosa plaza, Udaipur is a new neighbourhood south indian joint and associated with mr. ganapathy's venture. I lived in Bengaluru as a bachelor for a year and i totally know what a proper dosa tastes and feels like but this joint disappointed me big time in starting days and not sure if it was wrong cook or something on my visits but i did not feel pretty good being there due to average ambiance, loose service and the place feels little exhausted and dosa was ridiculously average, forget about niche dosas i'm talking about basic masala dosa and sambhar and chutneys everything was trying to hard to touch the average mark and they should definitely do something about that. The only Selling point they are holding the the city where people are not aware about Dosanomics is their wide variety of fancy dosas with limited options in udaipur and i really hope they work on these issues and improve the service.Edit: Visited the place again a couple of times and felt little improvement in Dosa quality though they were still struggling with sambhar n chutneys.
First of all ..the best thing i like about this place is menu and ambiance....many varieties of dosa available there....ordered mini idlis, veg uttapam, and some dosas..mini idlis are soo cute and soft too..nothing special in coconut chutney...uttapam and dosa also taste good...but when it comes to sambher...i think i had better sambhar in many other places in udaipur....or i can say that sambhar was OK OK ..
Udaipur, a city that always treats my taste buds in a way no other city does ..first visit to this restaurant.. The place has lovely ambience and check out the menu.. They have so many options in south Indian that one would wonder what to try and what not to...amazing choices
Coming to food all dosas and idlis ordered by us were good .. The service was quick though staff needs training .. Staff is one of biggest probs in Udaipur and so is it here too..
Food 4/5 ..
Ambience 4.5/5
Options of food 5/5
Experience 4.5/5
Service 4/5
Cost 5/5
Avg cost 200 to 300 Rs per head ..
A must visit place in Udaipur once ....
This place on 100 feet road near Sobhagpura circle is a franchise of Dosa Plaza which was started by T Ganapathy of Tamil Nadu. He started as an outlet in Navi Mumbai and now has more than 45 outlets and is having outlets outside India as well.
I personally didn't like the interiors as they seem too artificial. Otherwise the seating is comfortable.
They have so many varieties of Dosa that you can have really hard time selecting one. We opted for a onion sada and butter masala. The dosas were crisp. Also ordered idli which is not the best I have had but was not disappointing. They however can improve on Sambhar and Coconut chutney.
If you want to experiment with your Dosa this is the place you should visit. They even have a Choco Chip dosa. Really.
This is a nice place with a whole lot of combinations of Dosas and Uttappams you cant even imagine. However, they seem to have experimented too much and hence all these combos do not please the appetite. Whenever my stomach craves for South Indian food while I am in Udaipur, this is definitely the place you'll find me.
Nice place to have many kinds of dosas. Very crowded and waiting place do not exist. Service is below average. Over priced. Parking is good.
best dosa of Udaipur..
there are more than 100 types of dosas available here and till now I have tried very few of them and let me tell you that all of them were simply awesome
First of all.. Hats off for their creativity and wide range of dosa. Just imagine, 108 types of dosa including even different varieties of south indian dishes like idli, uttapam, sambhar vada and so many things. All are crafted in some unique and different way. If you're looking for good south indian food in this city and even up for some experiments with your dosa. This is your place!
Price tag is a bit high if you compare with other south indian food restaurants but still fine. As if you want something good in Udaipur specially, you will have to pay this much to have some decent food. You got very less option here.
Loved their Mexican Cheese Dosa. It is just Amazing. All the Spices used including the sauces they've used to make that Dosa more like Mexican is just impeccable.
Ps. I would recommend this Dosa to all the south indian lovers. As you might like that new twist too! :)
Heaven for dosa lover in udaipur. A place where you can enjoy variety of dosa with different flavours. But price is little bit expensive but it's OK when you want to taste best things in town.
Best place for some good varieties of south indian food, They serve more than 100 varieties of dosas there, we tried crispy paneer dosa, tandoori aloo, fresh lime soda & filter coffee there, all taste equally Delicious. Must visit place for every food..
Large range of dosas very good in taste only some improvement is required in sambhar
Service was pretty good madhavji there did a good hosting for me. I had a butter sada dosa there ,wide range of dosa in the menu sambhar taste is good but my suggestion it could be even better
The place has a pizza corner which serves pretty good pizzas for the price they offer! Latino Garden is the one I would suggest!
Variety of Dosa are available and the taste is really awesome. Service is quick and staff is also good. We also had pizza that was also good and in justified rate.
Overall it's recommended to have tasty South Indian good.
It was my first time I had been there just to try out the taste and service. Best place in my experience for South Indian food . If you go there, you would love it most. Must try. Service is excellent. Thank you very much for so delicious food. ☺
Good Interior and nice food. bit overpriced!
Mysore Masala dosa was amazing!! It has a very different tangy taste. Plus the rates are highly reasonable. Sambhar is home like. Loved it's taste. Better than Purohit Cafe.
Great taste and modern type of dosa. More than 100 types of dosa. Good service. The taste of "Sambhar" is not so good. Its an expensive place when you compare it with other popular food joints serving the same dosa. Ordered three dosa: a simple masala dosa, a mysore onion masala dosa and the special American Delight dosa. The last one was the best one.
Amazing pizza and it is freshly made in front of you.
It was good experience. Inside aura is very good. Nice food nice staff. Just one suggestion to owner .Please repair your entrance floor where outside sitting is present . It is uneven and also cleanliness should be kept outside ..
If you are craving for dosa then there's is no other place to go.
Over 100 types of dosa variety was available these includes paneer dosa, masala, plain, manchuriyan etc. Taste is very good . Prices are a little bit high but not too expensive .
For a South Indian in Udaipur looking for a taste of back down south, this place offers some good options. Yes, for a propah south Indian food connoisseur or a south indian this may not be the taste of Udupi hotels or Bengaluru, Mysore or Saravana Bhavan, but this is the best one gets here to get a feel of the sambar tang in one's mouth. Worth a try if you a traveller from south looking for a quick bite.
