Excellent ice creams and shakes at a very reasonable price. This place and chocolate brownie sundae is always going to be my favourite. People who visit udupi or manipal must try and eat ice creams at cream bowl.
Cream bowl is located at SLV temple road, Thenkpete. I think this is also the outlet of Ideal Ice Cream with a different name. This place was crowded when we visited, I think it's pretty popular with locals. We ordered their signature dish tiramisu and German chocolate. I really loved both flavours but something was missing. It's not same when you compare it with Pabbas and Ideal Cafe, that magic was missing. Ambience of this place is cool, they have indoor and outdoor seating area.
It's one of my most favourite place forever. Different varieties of all ice creams are available at very reasonable price here. I can recommend this as one of the best place in udupi for ice cream lovers.

I was in town for a long weekend and we were staying mostly on the beach side. We went to the city for lunch and luckily there was no dessert at the restaurant where we were having food. So, this place" Cream bowls" was a two minutes walk. We ordered one German Chocolate cake. The taste was amazing and the portion size is enough for two people. We both are in love with this place now. It was an amazing experience and the prices are also pocket friendly.
Best ice-cream shop in Udupi . They just use different flavours of ideal ice-cream scoops and mix them with dry fruits , nuts , choco chips and many other things . Thus they make it as a new flavoured ice-cream. All ice-creams are very tasty and good here . They also sell all ideal ice-cream products.
They have air conditioned room in ground floor and first floor where we can eat the ice-cream. There is only self service. The ice-cream will be ready in 5 mins after your order .
We tried cream bowl special ice-cream which was very good and tasty . It comes with 7 scoops of different flavoured ice-cream with some nuts . Also tried Blue curacao with sprite which was good .

Come. Order. Take your desert. Eat. Go. This place is very popular among students due to its pricing. The quality of desserts are good and very filling! It has very limited seats. Icecream is served pretty quickly. Not a place to relax and spend a lot of time. There's no parking for cars.

It is a cozy place to eat ice creams in Udupi.
Now, since their renovation they have started providing service at the table and it is definitely a good move.
And I loved the idea of having an all girl staff for service.

A fab cafe for having the most delicious Gudbad. Situated very close to Shri Krishna Matha and Udupi bus stand. The cafe opens at 11 am and you won't believe it but there were 14 people including me waiting since 10.30 am for it to open. It's a myth that ice cream can be had only post dinner and the udupians proved it wrong. I tried the special Gadbad which was priced at 155/- which had premium ice cream scoops, perfectly roasted nuts in abundance and fruits. Wish I could eat one more but one itself was so heavy. Service was excellent. The owner himself gets involved in taking orders and service along with other staff. Timings are 11:00 am - 9.45 pm

One of my favorite places around Udupi to have some ice cream. Creative flavors with mouth watering taste. The place is usually crowded for obvious reasons. The price is very reasonable and worth every penny. If you're around Udupi and bored of eating same ice cream flavors, do give this place a try. Highly recommended.
