This is an inhouse vegetarian restaurant of White Lotus Hotel. Located on mezzanine floor, this restaurant welcomes you with majestic white double door entrance. Truly photo worthy sight. Step into the restaurant and you get the spiritual vibes. The ambiance is beautiful covered with paintings of Sri Krishna. There is soft Bhakti songs of Sri Krishna in the restaurant which gives you vibes of purity of food. The staff being young clads who are energetic and helpful. From the classic Udupi cuisine to Chinese to chat everything tastes wonderful. The restaurant has city view which is a highlight to your seating arrangement. One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Udupi. They welcome you with the kind smile 😊. The place has amazing wallpapers related to Krishna. You can also enjoy your food with soothing bhajans.

If you're looking for a luxurious getaway in Udupi, the White Lotus (Madhuram) is worth considering. Walking through the grand entrance, you'll feel like you're in a world of luxury. The hotel provides various dining options that cater to even the most discerning palates, with each dish presented like a work of art. The staff is attentive, professional, and ready to anticipate your needs. Despite the higher price, it's worth the investment for exceptional dining, impeccable service, and a unique glimpse of luxury. Special mention to the exquisite wall mounted paintings depicting scenes from Mahabharata and life of Lord Krishna. Indeed a great experience.

This is an inhouse vegetarian restaurant of White Lotus Hotel. Located on mezzanine floor, this restaurant welcomes you with majestic white double door entrance. Truly photoworthy sight. I happened to dine here and order room service from here. On my first evening in the hotel, I had ordered Dal Khichdi, Masala Papad and Kurkuri Bhindi. While Dal Khichdi was light on stomach, with abundant ghee in it, I could not find the usual accompaniments. I think this is like a rule "Khichdi ke hai 3 yaar - Dahi, Papad aur Aachar" (ET: Khichdi has 3 best friends - Curd, Papad and pickle). They do not honour this rule. Papad they had sent was shining with oil, so did not touch it. Kurkuri Bhindi was doughy. For the dessert, I had ordered Rose Falooda and I have never seen and tasted anything that looks and tastes less like Rose Falooda. Someone has mentioned in the reviews that their Faloodas are a disaster. I should have listened to them. Our daily breakfast was set in this restaurant. Contrary to the hotel, I found this restaurant a bit gloomy and a bit basic comparatively. On the food front, their breakfast item were simply marvellous. I will never forget the taste of their Shevige Upma, Mangalore Buns and Pav Bhaji. I also happened to enjoy my ultimate favorite 'Gulab Firni' (Yes, I like rose flavour) on my final day of stay. Like the hotel, this restaurant is also decorated with Krishna paintings. You can find many lores in them. The staff is lovely. The service was quick. Overall, good and satisfactory experience.

Food served was okay...average kind of. 1. Veg Biryani was very bad; very oily (too much oil was on the base of bowl). 1/5 2. We ordered filter coffee which was just plain coffee. 2/5 3. Good part was veg manchow soup; it tasted good.4/5 Ambience was very simple.(in Udupi most of the restaurants are like this, not much attention is given on interiors) Edit on 12.08.2022. We ordered Panneer Tikka masala, Garlic nan, Paneer Galaouti kebab and Green salad. Only one word .... Fantastic.

My wife and I visited Madhuram after our temple visit and had a good time here. The service was excellent. Mr. Rajesh took care of us and I must say he was very prompt and active with our orders. Coming to food, we ordered Mysore Butter Masala Dosa, Pao Bhaji Masala Dosa, Pao Bhaji, Fresh Lime Soda and Filter Coffee. The food was very good, but I do want to mention their Mysore Butter Masala Dosa which was exceptional!! Absolutely crisp dosa, roasted to perfection, loaded with butter a good quantity of podi, filled with potato masala and was accompanied with a delicious peanut chutney, coconut chutney, tomato chutney with one of the tastiest sambar I ever tasted. The price is reasonable for the quality, quantity and service that we experienced. Recommended πŸ‘πŸΌ

A restaurant with royal ambiance with all the exquisite wall mounted paintings depicting scenes from Mahabharata and life of Bhagavan Krishna and the beautiful fine dining feel. And the best part was, the food was fantastic! The richness of taste and flavours was further enhanced by the loving service and care taken the staff. The Manager Mr. Naresh was very friendly to us and explained the various food options available and their specialties. He was also kind enough to provide a free cup of Rasmalai, one of their specialty sweets, to my 1 year old son! Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend for food lovers around Udupi. Jai Shree Krishna! πŸ•‰
