Review Balton's Majorda - Utorda

The food is amazing at this place. Reasonably priced for a shack by the beach. We ordered the Goan Fish curry rice and Fillet Mignon. Since it's in South Goa, it's very calm and not crowded. Great place to have a candle lit dinner by the beach with just the ocean around you.

The place is at Utorda beach. Since it's the first shack on the beach it's quite crowded in the evening. Food is good but not so exceptional. Servers are quite friendly and polite. Order was taken very promptly and delivered soon. It has a swing and sofa facing beach which is quite interesting and unique. Its near to Planet Hollywood resort and so the prices are little on the higher side.

The fell in love with this place, it was bright and glittery with all the LEDs and in house live singers were excellent. They just make your mood. Go for the ambience and good alchohol. Food was good not great. The service was nice just as required.

Good local cuisines ..... Food takes a while to be on the table ...probably they make it fresh ...so have plan to start with a drink. Stewards are nice n friendly service is good.. Single Food portions are pretty satisfactory for a good eater.

A wonderful seasonal shack on Utorda beach. The choice on the menu was quite good and very reasonably priced. They have a special seafood menu. They also serve hard liquor and very delightful cocktails. They have laid out beach recliners under a thatched umbrella and is a great place to relax and get a tan. The beach is flat with clean sea waves lapping close by. A few water sports activities are close by. There is a sizeable tourist crowd during the day. The nights are pleasent and romantic.

Good food slow service though staff is very diligent. Very nice ambience.

Nice place to spend your evening's at the beach with cool breeze and waves. Romantic getaway with candle light dinner for couple's.

Since we are vegetarians... ample of choices for us too!!! And yes the food is tasty and fresh.. yellow dal tadka is superbly amazing. We stayed at Planet Hollywood and it's location is just right to the back exit of the hotel on the beach

Balton's shack is placed at a lovely location, it has 200 pax seating at one time plus re seating, the food is delicious specially the Goan chicken cafreall served with Goan Bread. The Balton shack owner Mr. Baltozar is very down to earth person, any special request you have approached him He will not turn you down. Balton Shack takes private parties order and also does catering.

Awesome place to visit in goa, as it is very less crowded comparatively with the other beaches and restraunt.

Was there the other day for dinner.. The food was okish... Not bad actually.. Portion size is a little to little.. And the butter garlic squids had a cream sauce.. Was definitely not expecting that.. The goan sausage pulav (pilaf) a more like a fried rice.. Not at all authentic.. Don't get me wrong.. All the dishes tasted decent..<br/><br/>Not a bad place to chill

this is not baltons its wrongly published.baltons been located at beach and also near park hyatt.tis is completely a different restaurant. kindly dont get fooled.

Worst place pls stay away from this hotel, no room service, AC was not working also service guys smoke weed and food is very very worst also costly
