Review Havmor Restaurant - Vadodara

We tried the famous grill sandwich after 7 years and still taste is awesome. Also we tried dry backed Gulabjamun. That was great presentation and taste too.

Great food , great place , location is unique food quality is consistent. A good place to go with your family. Choole bhature is a must try, pizza is not so good. Sandwiches are okay, we love the noodles they serve. Pav bhaji is good.

This place is awesome. Great hospitality coupled with nice ambience and location to go with delicious Punjabi dishes. Paresh Bhai was an awesome host for us

The place is really good to enjoy your food with family or friends, i recommend to try hoccu's hotpot soup. I tried some other dishes too but I enjoyed soup a lot.

Great taste of food. Karari rumal roti is all time favourite. However, the price is on a higher side for the food and the experience.

One of the best restaurant in vadodara & food is too tasty. Try - channa puri, sandwiches, kuttu paratha & wraps. Ambience is cool. Ice creams are very good. Easily approachable & parking space is available for two wheelers & for four wheelers space is not that big but 3-4 cars can be parked easily. Overall best place to visit for.

Yeah one the best restuarant in Vadodara where you can get the best of best food and embience is very cool. Taste is also very good and wide in variety. Their is also cafe down the restuarant. We order South India it was awesome and kuthru Paratha in starter was great. Service is average . A must visit place in restuarant. It is near to the rockstar circle and ideal location for restuarant.

We didn't know Havmor has restaurants too till we visited Vadodara. This is apparently one of the best restaurant chain in the city, with more than 3 outlets. The restaurant isn't too big, with tables placed fairly close to one another. Staff is courteous and service is quick. This is a multi cuisine restaurant with a lot of variety, both in veg & non veg. We started with the Karari Roomali (see pic), which is a crispy Roomali Roti topped with local spices. While this is a visual novelty, taste is strictly alright. Paneer Tikka kebabs were very good, with big chunky pieces served with grilled vegetables. In the mains, we ordered Paneer and Balti Chicken. Again food taste was very good and quantity served was enough. Rotis were served at a good pace, which helps eating momentum. We finished the meal with desserts, prepared in the ice cream parlour right outside the restaurant. The triple Sundae is an excellent dish, with a lot of fruits & cakes/brownies with 3 flavours of ice cream. While the kids love such a dish, ensure you're not too full with food before you order this monster.

To start with beginning we went to the op road outlet .. havmor has been mine n my family's fav since childhood so we decided to visit but to my shock it is horrible now <br/><br/>We went there at 9.30 so before going in i asked the manager ( vyas or something was his name ) is it open then only i would enter .. he said yes it is .. as soon as we took chairs n gave us menu he told me last order give it fast so rudely and clearly said no for starters n soup so i asked him why at first did he say yes when he was in so hurry to go home he didnot respond so still i was polite n we order for mains and ofcourse famous karai roomali .. which i was pretty excited for so when the roomali came i was wow but to my disappointment roomali was uncooked and it was not hot at all so i asked the manager to take it back and he came after 10 mins saying yeh toh aisa hi rahe ga hum kuch nai kar sakte kha ho toh bolo i was shocked with his rudeness and i was sure karari is crispy from everywhere it shud not be raw but he argued n there was no end .. it was disgusting option to go there .. and further more in the mains rotis where cold .. i just had one question if u were in so hurry to go home why did u even let us in .. i m never going back there again

very centrally located. they used to have a buffet which i attended in the lunch hours. was okay. worth the money then. it is always crowded so the circulation of materials is bound to be fast and so food is fresh for the most part

Just tried terrific triple threat ice cream.<br/>The ice cream had chocolate, vanilla, strawberry along with fresh fruits.<br/>Tastewise it was really good with decent quantity enough for 2-3 people.<br/>Overall good experience.<br/>Would like to try out other dishes as well

havmor diwalipura is one of the oldest restaurants in vadodara.be it weekend or normal working day u will fond a rush of people waiting for their club sandwich or chana puri...In restaurant u may find karari rumali roti and their starters as an interesitng points.

The only reason I’m giving this low rating is that I ordered a sizzler, and the first rule of sizzler is it should be sizzling and smoking. Chuck the smoke, It wasn’t even blowing warm air. Also it was cold as if pulled out of yesterday’s remaining stock. The manager wouldn’t accept that the sizzler was cold. Had to make him touch it to make him realise it.

Yeah, the food is nice! The fast food needs a menu bucket expansion though. I almost had every item from the menu through the last 4 years still found Chole to be the best!

We ordered chhole puri . Chhole was good. The sitting arrangement is spacious. Chhole is their speciality. So, try it if you visit this restaurant.

One of the oldest restaurants in the city, Havmor serves consistent good quality of food. Favourite ones here are Chana Kulcha, Chana Bhatura, Sada Dosa & Pav Bhaji- Not to miss these at all.Apart from these, the samosa, paneer & aaloo tippis with sweet n sour Tamarind chutney is unique in its own style! Burgers, sandwiches are also good in taste!

Eatery is good .. but their restaurant on the first floor is very costly compare to the price quality taste and quantity of the dishes.. much much improvements are required on those factors..

It has been 4 years straight that I have been going to this place and never once has this place disappointed me. The service is always good along with the hygiene and that too in their busiest hours.

The management was beyond mannerless. The restaurant served us extremely old and spoils pickle which they reluctantly changed after complaining a couple of times. Lahori seekh kabab sabzi was also old and not fresh. On informing about that, the manager MR. B N UPRATI shouted at us, the customers saying we didn’t know how it should taste. As a regular customer of the main outlet of Havmor, Ahmedabad, we are familiar with the entire menu of Havmor. In addition, we are also familiar with the staff there. This staff, is beyond mannerless and not at all helpful. This is unacceptable as such management are ruining the name of Havmor.

The staff behaviour is filthy. I went down here with a female friend. It was lunch time and most of the tables were empty. The staff kept ogling at her and were making her extremely uncomfortable. A very bad experience.

Ordered a Pav Bhaji and had specifically mentioned them (requested to convey it to the chef) to use the LEAST amount of butter. But as you can notice in the pics, they had put copious amount of it. There was a reason why I had requested less butter. The taste was amazing, as it always is with any buttery item. But dissatisfied with the service. They could've refused if less butter wasn't possible. Other than that, Havmor us always the best.

Good restaurant with good food. Especially Karari Rumali roti. I must say prices are too high as there is no extra ordinary service level. Staff is also OK.<br/>Needs lots of improvement on service level and price part.

Wierd setup - there is an eatery on the first floor and a fast food restaurant on the ground floor. If you are in a group where some want to eat South Indian and some want to eat north Indian, you are out of luck ! They don't serve dosas or fast food on first floor and not much north Indian on ground floor !! The manager asked us to pay 40% more if we order idlis for kids while we eat north Indian on first floor ....... wierd and not very customer-friendly setup.

I have been to Ahmedabad branch multiple times. But here the service is worst. Managers are so arrogant. Food is also not good now as it was before. Prices are quite high as compared to quality and service.

What a disappointment! What an awful treatment by the captain. After the service staff got us seated at a table, the captain/manager started shouting at them and even asked us to move to a different tab<br/>le. And all this in the afternoon when the restaurant was hardly 10-15% occupied. The basic rules of customer treatment in the hospitality industry was flouted. I lost my appetite, felt the price was too high and vowed to never return again.

It's a good place for a quick lunch or snacking. We ordered chhole poori, dosa and masala lemonade, followed later by kulfi falooda . A total yum fest, especially for north indians looking for an authentic taste !

The khowsuey soup (burmish soup) served here is excellent! It's extra ordinary and a must try (5 stars to the soup). In sabji we ordered subs tiranga in which there were there different sabji in 3 different gravies, all were really good. Other food was also good. Ambience is average, not bad.

In app it shows veg only, whereas the menu shows both the option of veg & non-veg. Yesterday we ordered 15 plate of food worth rs. 7229. When delivery person came was denying other mode of payment than the cash payment. He also not humble to his customer (non customer friendly behavior).The worst thing, food is not so qualitative compare to its price. Has started smelling bad right after 20 mins of opening it.<br/>I would suggest not take food from this restaurant. The chain is just good for selling ice cream.

On a recent trip to baroda tried this place based on a friend's recommendation.Tried the pattice sort of thing in cheese corn, cheese garlic bread, havmor's pizza and masala lemonade. The pattice thingy had an awesome stuffing....crisp outside and goey on d inside.The garlic bread could have been crispier.The pizza though was nice..cripsy and cheesy.The best part ws the lemonade which was the best I hav had since a long time.Had no space left for deserts so regret that..All in all a good one.Cheers!!!

The food here is pathetic..they dont have tomatoes as tomatoes are 80 rs kg and simply say giving stupid reasons that there food lab is detecting some sort of ill effects in tomatoes..they dont have bread for bruchetoss..nothing..if u want to waste ur money go to havmor..saffron is much better than this

Me and my family, 5 people, went to this restaurant. Horrible experience, food quality was not up to the mark. Paying High prices for dishes is not worthy. Ordered smoked paneer tikka as starter, 2 paneer dishes and one Veg dish for main course, rotis and buttermilk. Both paneer dishes had same gravy although it was mentioned in menu that both were different. Only thing we liked was buttermilk as it was the only thing which came as it was mentioned in menu.. I would suggest to go and visit Yellow chillie or sheesh mahel or safforn but don't visit here for quality food.

Not good experience, food was not at all satisfactory when compared with the price. Too much expensive and worst taste of food even quantity of food was too less. Okay what you call a thing that is neither cold nor hot ? Aha, Lukewarm it is ! The same word applies to this place "Lukewarm". A decent place with decent food ; neither extraordinary nor dull. Had Chole Bature and Bhaji Pav which are the food items they specialize in. Found them to be okay was neither happy nor sad.

Went seeing the reviews and personal experience of buffet lunch but this time dinner experience was pathetic, on ala carte menu where they serve too little vegetable and starter dish which is not enough even for 2 people..and too expensive also ...

Waiters adamant enough to not to serve roti basket. Sabzi tasteless. Rounded tables, made 8 people sit on a table for 6 - highly congested seating experience. Also, bill was dated for 2007 in 2016.

Have tried restaurant as well as banquet here and I am happy with both. They have maintained the taste and quality in this outlet as well. I would specifically like to mention the watermelon mojito in the banquet which I liked. In restaurant, I like the soups but the sizzlers were below average.

A typical "Havmor" tradition is followed by each franchise no matter in baroda or outside of it...Loved the food , ambience, interior, service nd of course desserts... U have so much to choose from..went there when there was a north Indian cuisine festival or something like that nd it turned out to be the best.. This is the best Havmor outlet in the city. Food is yummy. Chana puri is my favorite but also the pizzas and burgers are very tasty.<br/>Ice creams are the best part undoubtedly. If not food, you must visit this place just for ice creams. This place has the most delicious and widest variety of ice creams. They keep on introducing new flavors, almost all of which are good. Price is reasonable.<br/>Best time to visit this place is on work days. Avoid going here on weekend evenings or holidays as it gets too crowded and noisy.

There's a fixed order of mine which is Jumbo grilled sandwich followed by the Malai kulfi. All sundaes taste amazingly good. Other items are just okay.

Most of the ice creams are good... Sundays are lip smacking... For a fast food restaurant below it's pretty clean, with courteous staff... The upper deck restaurant is very well managed with good Indian food...

The Jumbo Grill here is all time favourite..you can compare it to right choice, right place, right time in Mumbai. The price seems to be a little on a higher side for a grilled sandwich.

Afternoon set lunch with unlimited food and limited ice cream. Basic lunch with not much options as day wise menu is fixed. Quite place to go with a group like I did. Managed well to serve 23 person at a time. Best was it's butter milk. <br/>Price 325 per pax.

Have been favorite restaurant since years in ahmedabad. The snack corner below the restaurant has been good and the staff very friendly. But I got a shock when I went up. The evening captain who takes order was rude and extremely non customer centric. Even waiter was better than him :) food was nice that is the saviour

Have been to this restaurant 3 times and all the 3 times I have been thoroughly disappointed. The first time in spite of telling not to put garlic in the food, the food had garlic. On the second occasion the waiters were taking their own sweet time to serve. On the third and probably my last time, the guy asking for my order was extremely rude. Please go to this place only if u are ready to be treated rudely and are ok with slow and pathetic service.

We went there as hungry as hell and believe me.. They did serve us the food to kill that hunger.. Their signature Chhole Bhature will top the charts any day as it's worth the buzz and attraction that it gets.. Food is good and so is the hygiene.. Overall a decent place to check in and have ur meals..!

Decent place, decent food, good ambience. This is a family restaurant, the servers and the food would never upset you. This place servers good starters and also good punjabi food. The chinese and sizzlers are not yet up to the mark but they are more focused on punjabi cuisine. Mocktails are good, not great. If you are out with family, this is the place for you.

Bright and good place for food. its not very different from other places but have some good food on the menu. the best was rumali roti served just like a masala papad.

Nice place on corner of a signal. Good restaurant with all good ambience, clean and neat place. Bit unfriendly staff and quite rude as well. But that's OK if service is good. Delicious, well served, privacy and Chanaa Puri. Yes, if you are visiting Havmor, please do try chana puri, it's really good. And they are well known for ice-cream, try anything you crave for, all are good.

Try karrari rumali(starter that serves 3-4). It is the peculiarity of havmor. Also the cocktails served are appreciable. Great ambience and service being the only area where improvement can be done.

Nice fine dine option, great ambiance, and excellent menu choices. One does appreciate attention given to table layouts. It was hardly any crowd so we got all the attention from servers. Food was very fresh, tasted nice, would have been happier with some more flavours from it, however any day would give more marks for freshness than taste. Let me reiterate taste was fine, just that it could have been a bit more flavorful. Only critic I have is on the service detailing. While the servers fussed over us and took extra care of us, the area of improvement is on quality of sophistication e.g. Three of us ordered special mocktail drinks and when the drinks arrived via different server he had no idea who ordered what and therefore had to ask us to guide him to the right person on the table, similarly two of us were eating continental and rest 5 were eating Indian, inspite of saying so and ordering it, when the Indian food arrives earlier than continental, the server tried to serve Indian food to person who had taken continental choice. It's a small issue but for good restaurants it's the difference between good and great. Had a pleasant evening, hope to enjoy their food when next in Vadodara.

This place is just amazing. Be it the dine in, casual snack bar or ice cream parlor. <br/>The food is lovely and affordable. <br/>Each dish is tasty. I have almost always liked every item at this place. Must haves are the karari roti, chhole, jumbo sandwich, lollipop ice cream, pan flavored ice cream and Hyderabadi biryani. <br/><br/>But lately the standards ans tastes have been slightly on a decline. The restaurant, I believe, can easily make up for it quickly.

this restaurant has 2 sections. the fast food section on the ground floor is good for quick bites. though it is somewhat overpriced but the food is really good. chole bhature, pizza , burger , sandwich were all tasty. the restaurant on top is very popular and serves great food. good ambiance and seating. service can be slow on peak days. all the cuisines served are great. especially liked the chinese and italian food. desserts are superb. definitely worth visiting

From havmore, I would expect the best chhole bahture. And this outlet has done it. Interior is also good. Also tried Punjabi food, it was good. In ice creams, fresh mango and sonpapdi are good.

Havmor is a nice outlet if you wanna have some light food. Definately try out their sandwiches they are really good. Chole puri not tat nice. Even chat items are not good. But garlic bread and dosa, pav bhji are nice.

Havmor is famous for punjabi actually. We went there for our family get-together party. but, i dnt like service at all. Food was ok. not so special an yes they are very busy so i think they can not handle more customers.

This restuarant located on OP road is one of the busiest ones! I have been to this place quite a few times.There are mainly 2 sections one is for fast food stuff and another is proper restaurant located @ 1st floor. So if you are looking to grab a quick bite you can check in @ the ground floor and if you want to have proper dinner 1st floor restuarant is pretty much recommended.The ambience of the restaurant on 1st floor is quite nice and even staff is very good and pays good attention!I have had mainly Italian, chinese , Punjabi and Fast food at this place.I had usual Fried rice , manchurian , Penne Pasta in white sauce & also had north indian like Panner Lajawab (If re collect correctly) with butter roti and had starters are good. Never to miss at Havmor: 1. Chole bhature (even the onion rings are tastier than others) 2. Cold coffee <br/>The place is a Perfect option which does not need any mind boggling... Go bindass......

It was just yesterday that I was at Havmor( Sayajigunj) and I realized that it is probably the best place to eat in Vadodara and I have been an unknowning regular from the past 15 years or so. As a kid I remember saving up for their jumbo sandwiches and of course the creamiest of ice creams which were a significant part of my weekend post meal drives with my family. Growing up I have tried almost all the flavors they have and my current favorite being the Jamaican coffee ( I finish the whole tub in one go) highly recommended for coffee lovers. The street food section is amazing ..pav bhaji and chole puri is a must must have without a doubt. Not preferred for pizzas though. Moving on to the meals .. Hands down I admit it that you pick any item and it is sure to satisfy your taste buds . especially I have grown too fond of the Italian picks.. Probably the best ravioli and lasagna you might find in Vadodara. The ambience has undergone a lot of changes in the past few years especially the wallpapers and mirrors aren't much of a pleasant sight to the eyes. It can surely be worked on. Very spacious And cozy. Private and peaceful on any given day and but do ensure during peak hours you have reservations. The service is brilliant, polite, quick and smart. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Overall a quality place for quality food ( good quantity as well) and never disappoints. And yes value for reasonable budget.

Quality food at a reasonable price is what you will find at Havmor. The chana Puri is very filling and<br/>So is the jumbo grilled sandwich. The food served sometimes is very oily which destroys the taste. What this restaurant is better known for is its ice cream and the taste of the same is very promising. From thick shakes to the ice licks all is good. A great place to go to if you want to eat out but don't know where to go. Waiting is a problem.

They have changed the menu saying Diwali Special and limitied the dishes. No more Sizzlers, Not much selection for Jain Dishes too... Manager doesn't follow the waiting queue. Lets others in First even though they have enrolled the name later...<br/><br/>Air Conditioned didn't work. I was sweating in there.<br/><br/>Lastly, On request, which they didn't consider, they did not allow the idli to be served, though person on next table was having it...<br/><br/>Please choose this as the last option to dine...<br/>Itss not worth the price paid !!!

Just perfect for dessert!!! Mind body heart boggling chocolate pudding! A must have for when you are on a visit or a newbie to Vadodara ☺️☺️☺️

Best hangout place near my house. Office... .!!<br/>Food is good but better to go for evening icecream.<br/>Sometimes its over crouded but kind of a party spot too..
