Review Cafe Fitoor - Vadodara

Roshani Gupta
It's just the taste of food made by the chef of this place will take your taste bud of tour of tangy, sour and sweet travel destination and the name of the travel agent is FITOOR. What should I say the interior, decor, sitting, cleanliness, lighting even the plate they use are all good. I ordered their a plate of Stuff Mushroom, Spaghetti, Veg Lasagna and Chocolate Brownie. It's all good the taste, stuff, balance spice, platting. I like most the lasagna and Chocolate Brownie. Budget friendly, well mannered staff. Must visit

Had wonderful food here. All preparations were tasty and fresh. Nice ambiance! Liked the fruit juice very much. Kerala paratha and sheekh kabab was very tasty!

Good food, excellent service, their murgh makhani (butter chicken) is excellent, so was their cheese naan

Unlike the typical cafes, this place is very calming with pretty ambience. Really liked the fact that the owner was so much interested and asked us for the experience and feedback with a smile always. The quality and presentation of the food was very good. We had Veg Biryani and needless to say it was one of the best meal I have had. The gravy with correct blend of veggies (which were properly cooked, neither overcooked nor raw) and proportion of rice along with the spices made for a very wholesome dish. Even the hot soup we had was very soothing to the soul. This cafe has my heart and is highly recommend for foodies in town.

The food was superlative along with the ambience. The service was absolutely commendable, the way they treat their customers is really good and it was really impressive. The best thing apart from food I found there was the cook book collection they have. It shows they keep on learning and deliver the best to their customers. Dishes tried: 1. June Bug (mock tail) - Found this to be average as it was just pineapple juice, not much of dragon fruit in it as mentioned in the menu. 2. Meatball spaghetti- The meatball was delicious and they use really good quality of spaghetti. 3. Tandoori platter.- 4 different tandoori chicken items were in the platter. Chicken was cooked well, chutneys were good too but the tandoor/ kebabs could have been bit more spicy.
Neet Lakhani
Perfect Ambience, Perfect food, Perfect presentation and friendly staff. Less choice in food but everything is a must try be it Indian, Italian, Mexican, Lebanese. Shakes and Mocktails are too good! Must must visit.

Food Quality - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Food Quantity - ⭐
Management-⭐

The food quality here is great but I was really disappointed with the portion size. On confrontation, the issue raised had been turned a blind eye at and not only that, the portion size was rather justified. Profit mongers I must say.

Sania Shah
Joke of a restaurant.
Pathetic, profit mongers
Post-quarantine changed their menu and portion size, good quality food but such lousy service, manager unprofessional, food portion less than acceptable, could literally count the number of penne pasta in the “1-person serving” offered by them for rs 280.
OH AND ALSO, a pandemic going on but these fools have filled water inside the sanitizer bottle lmao
Manan Sharma
Disappointed
I had really good prior experience with the place, the food was amazing in quality but the part that brought the entire cafe down in my eyes was the serving,
Apparently they serve personal size but the quantity is is astoundingly less, there were literally 12 pieces of penne pasta,
On confrontation the manager was clearly not open to criticism and justified the bullshit quantity
Nobody could ever serve that pasta to even a child,
Tanusha Kulkarni
Disappointed and surprised!
This is the portion size I got for 280 rupees. The manager was unprofessional in taking constructive feedback when I told her that the portion size for the price isn't appropriate for even one person to eat. The quality of the food was good but the attitude of the manager was highly disappointing. Our overall dining experience was terrible
Sakshee Bhavsar
They served 7 penne pasta for 280rs. The sanitizer had water and it is not up to the mark at all. When asked about the serving size, they said no one had complained. Disappointed , but not surprised as no one would have visited again.
Kinjal Satra
Amazing place with soothing ambience.
Though would love more of vegetarian options. Nonveg that my friends tried pathar ka gosth , chicken wrap with beans and chicken curry with Kerala paratha was delicious and lip snacking.
We tried veg tandoori platter which was delicious, hummus wrap which was okayish, American choupsey which was amazing and Alfredo pasta which won our hearts.
Drinks we tried were classic cold coffee, hot chocolate and June mocktail.
Joy
I have visited them once or twice before corona happened and their English breakfast is really really good to have. This time I ordered Fish Tikka. It was nicely packed with sanitizer. The Fish was soft and Flavorful. Definitely one of the best in Vadodara. It was a little oily. But it didn't affected the taste maybe because of the Good quality of the food. Overall the taste was Good.
Kamlesh Sata
First of all it’s expensive with Too less proportion. Not worth according to price at all. Gravy too much. And chicken pieces too less.
Rvs
Veg Briyani ,half cooked ,oily .price not worth the taste and the rating is misguiding .
Rvs
Ordered honey chilli potato and in return they gave me big slices of potato dipped in sauce with raw TIL on it .very novice and not worth price .
Alind Mishra
For the amount being charged, the quantity was too less. In chicken tikka masala there were just 4 small pieces of boneless chicken.
Secondly i ordered butter chicken and tikka masala. Gravy was same in both just that butter chicken was on a bit sweeter side. Disappointed with fitoor.
Abhishek1107
Have always loved Fitoor. Tried veggie cottage pie. Went right my favorite food list🍽. Ppl who like to experiment must try.

One of the best place in town to dine out !
Khushira Verma
Absolutely fantastic, delectable place with fantastic service. SO much love goes into the food prep and everything explodes with flavor. All Their offerings are tasty and inventive. It’s consistently excellent and the service is just right. A big thumbs up to the basil chicken & keema on toast. I also appreciate the fact that they offer soft cocktails for non-alcohol drinkers. This is one of my favorite places to eat in vadodara. Highly recommend!
Raval Aditya
Mixed feelings. The food is delicious but the service is not up to par.

After a long day in the city we were looking forward to a relaxing dinner but Pastas didn't quite fit the bill.

cWe were seated promptly but waited nearly 15 minutes to be greeted by our server. After finally being greeted we told the server we were starving and were ready to order.
Simran Chabra
All in all a decent place but a little disappointed with the service though. The staff could have been a little more friendly and welcoming.
Sakshi Patel
We stopped in for a late dinner. Their food is very good and worth the visit if you are in the area. Very nice staff and the prices/servings are reasonable. Far better than eating elsewhere in the area.
Sunny Vithlani
NICE & COZY RESTAURANT WITH PRETTY AWESOME INTERIORS AND COMFORTABLE SEATING.
FRIENDLY BEHAVIOR OF THE STAFF MAKES YOU FEEL SPECIAL.
THE FOOD OUT HERE IS QUITE DELICIOUS
PASTA'S OUT HERE ARE AMAZING.
Pratyush Panda
Ordered sparkling almond mocktail, mutton keema with pav and chiken breast steak with veg biryani. Food was good. Veg biryani was the prettiest biryani ever. Chiken breast was a healthy option but mutton keema with pav was supper delicious. Never tried this dish but hands down to good chief. On the other hand sparking almond was a ruiner as it was over rated but not worth a rupee. Recommended place
Urvee Panda
Favorite restaurant serving fantastic food with so many different choices and cooked in less oil that's love
Jessica Shah
Decent place. The steak was a little dry. The service wasn't that good and the waiter was air-headed. I had a satisfactory experience and will have to try it again.
Hard Matarkar
You'll enter the cafe and will immediately notice the genuineness that has put up the place. You'll encounter a rare phenomenon in the city, The menu matches the ambience with zero pretense.
Backpackergurl
This place is very pretty and the ambiance is so calm and soothing. They serve veg and non-veg both but we tried veg which absolutely drooling. If you go on weekends then you will find the place a bit crowded. I went there for dinner and am totally satisfied with the food, the service, and the price. One of my fav places and I would not mind visiting this place often.
Madhuri Raut
To start with we went here on a weekend had a wait time of 5mins! Ambience is decent. Service is quick.. After our order was taken down they served us fryums... We order Masala Martini and mix lemon water! Masala martini is must try the red guava juice with masalas in it... just tastes amazing it is worth trying truly!
Later our mini tacos arrived which were yum and then the main course chapatis and chicken tikka masala which was also very good! Had hot chapatis just like homemade one...
Food is quick to flow out of kitchen... Amazing food attentive staff great time spent and kind owners with welcoming smile... masala martini is must try here
Jalay Bakshi
I decided to go at this place due to its rating...n ws very disappointed...the pasta burger ws dry...the toast ws somewhat good...plus there are nt many options...however the ambience ws nice...highly overrated
The Chef From India
This is a nice and cozy restaurant that has a very welcoming ambience and quite comfortable seating. The staff is well trained and the service is quick. The food too is quite delicious.

We ordered an ABC juice and some freshly squeezed orange and water melon and that was great. The kiwi lime margarita in the mocktails too was good.

For food we had the chicken croque madame which was not really a croque madame but it tasted good. So it lost some credibility there.
The mushroom fettuccine again was good, cooked al dante, just a tad heavy on salt.
And the falafel wrap with the beetroot hummus and pineapple cut in the shape of fries was quite nice. All in all a good place for a quick bite.
Basit Eqbal
Lavang Latika is my favorite Dessert. I was a bit skeptic on trying out a modified version of it but at the same time I love such restaurants that do something new and mix things up. This Lavang Latika with a filling of saffron cream was a delight to have. A must try for people visiting Cafe Fitoor.
Shiva Chettiar
We found this place on Zomato and it happened to be one of the best places I have eaten in recent times. Run by a couple whose passion is visible in the dishes
Had the Chicken Satay and the Chicken Steak which was delicious
Would definitely visit when I am next in Baroda
Disha Panchwadkar
Amazing service.
Had a chicken steak with brownie shake and hazlenut latte. Chicken was perfectly cooked along with the mashed potatoes
Amazing food and variety
Would definitely visit again!
Suchit Birari
Trust me its a decoy when they its a Cafe. Its a full fledged fine dining restaurant. Its THE ultimate cafe in town. These people serve chicken million times better than kfc and billion times better pasta than..... Little Italy ( mentioning these as they are supposed to specialize in them). Warm owners, warmer ambience and even warmer and wholesome food, theres nothing more you can ask for.
Viral Kamdar
Excellent. Well blended food, unique varieties and hospitality at its best. A++ Class classy Cafe.

Our Mumbaiya soul has got fully satisfied with this one of the best eateries of Baroda.

Owner personally taking care of each table.
Mr Gaurav and his wife both are very humble and they know their job well. Thanks Gaurav for making us delighted on first visit itself.
Will surely visit soon again and keep on visiting for sure.

🤗🙂🙂🙂🙂😋😋😋😋😋😋

Very happy with how they run the place man!❤️❤️ the ambeince is so good to spend quality time and also the food was quite good! Would give 4/5 stars to this place
Amar Ambegaonkar
My personal top choice for dining in Vadodara. The food is authentic and super yum . Must go for nonveg lovers . The hospitality is top. The owner couple are always around to serve you the best . Way better than any franchise or chain restaurants. 10/10 if i had that option.
Ankita Suvagia
Always in love with their Guava Martini with Stuffed Mushrooms. They also offer kachi keri in summer. Great flavors. Nice and hygiene place.
Ruturaj 'Crixalis' Lasure
the most amazing food. bruh. mom loved it.
Prakash Gianchandani
Amazing food. Same taste i used to eat in (nirvana). Authentic & hygenic. I come once a year in india, without eating fitoor’s food, i cant go back. Only minus point is they dont deliver in my area (warasiya).
Anokhee Patel
Very nice food.. loved the fact that the owner is so involved and asks for feedback. We had the chicken kali Mirch, the chicken burger, franky, fish and chips.. everything was really nice
Manoj Pandey
Delicious food, everything is perfect for a cafe here. Specially the owners, they themselves are a unique factor to this place, so much warmth in their service.
Foram
Very impressed by how they run the place. Food - 4.5/5
Ambience - 5/5
Service - 5/5

We ordered Dahi Kebab and Penne Arabiatta, and were happy with the portions and taste. I would have personally preferred a bit more seasoning to the kebabs (which were perfectly cooked and crispy btw) and a bit more saucy consistency to the penne. But that’s my choice, rather than a drawback on their end.

The ambience is that of a nice little cafe. A small place, so you can hear people chatter - so not a good place if you want a quiet place at peak hours. But thankfully there’s no music, and the place is extremely clean, there’s no annoying smell of food while you sit for your order, and plenty of ventilation despite the small space.

Service and Hospitality - that’s the most impressive thing about this cafe. They are extremely courteous, smiling (not that fake one) and gentle and cultured. I guess there’s one server and two owners. And all three are exceptionally well-mannered.

One of the owners held the door wide for me as we bumped at the entrance, and at that point I didn’t know she was the owner. The server is cheerful, promptly replaces the dishes and the water jug (small stuff like that is hard to find these days - it takes ten minutes usually to get some water elsewhere ). The other owner was extremely sweet when a patron’s son dropped a glass, shattering it to pieces. While the floor went quiet, the owner smiled and said “it happens. No worries.” With a genuine sense of understanding.

Now that cultured behaviour cannot be drummed in by training. It’s in their very nature. And I enjoyed my meal thoroughly for that. ❤️
Surabhi Agarwal
A hip hangout for oldies, the middle aged, youngsters and the ones from the confused generation. Snazzy ambience with a hit of nostalgia in the form of Archies Comics on a shelf.

We ordered Butter Basil Broccoli Spaghetti Agli e Olio, a Chipotle Broccoli Wrap and a veg Cheese Hotdog.

The hosts were kind, attentive and gave us freshly cut raw mango while we waited our order.

The serving size wasn't that great but the taste was at par with our expectations and so was the plate decorations.

All in all a good experience.

Jaykishan
Starting with the ambience, it is well set up with good lightings, interior and comfortable seatings. The service is good too and taking feedback of how the food is, was really nice. About the food, the FITOOR SANDWICH was good, just too big to take a bite. The VEG HAKKA NOODLES was beyond the expectations and loved it. P.S. They will serve you complimentary snacks until you wait for your order to come.
Heer Patel
Not like other typical cafes in town!
Soothing place with pretty ambiance
Serves both veg and non veg we tried veg
They had some weekend special menu when we went!
Their desserts has our heart!
Granola and kheer tarts were amazing
Worth a visit CAFE in town
Rachita Shah

Cafê Fitoor.
The place is very beautiful and peaceful. It have very calm ambience & peace atmosphere. Quality of the food was the best. Place serves veg and non veg both and we tried veg which absolutely amazing. From starters to mocktails to main course and desserts, everything was so good.
We tried:
Dahi kabab
Dat tadka
Paneer Makhani
Masala Mojito- not in the menu
Kiwi Margherita-not in the menu
Watermelon, mint & lime juice
Must Must Try Chefs' suggested Mocktails and aveg Dahi Kabab. U will fell in Love with kababs.
Suraj Pisharody
I was here on a Tuesday evening and was flummoxed looking at the crowd this place attracts on a weekday.

We tried a lot of their offerings. The food was really great, although I wouldn't vouch much for their chicken nuggets.
Dal makhani is by far a must try here.
Murg chatpata quenched my thirst for a chicken boneless gravy.
Rumali Rotis are good too.
Fresh lime soda was great and so was the cold coffee.

The staff was great. The service is decent inspite of the place being so crowded.

The ambience is really soothing and attracts couples and families alike.

EDIT: SECOND VISIT
Yesterday was my second visit to the place. Came to know about the success story of the place. Fitoor was started in a small shop in the basement of a building next to it's current location and within a year, they were able to expand to this lush space that they house.

The staff is incredibly courteous and the owner welcomes everyone with a smile. She even came to ask us about our experience and was curious to know whether the food net our expectations.

These slight things go a long way as the service is as important as the food itself.

Tvara Mehta
This is a really nice place!
Tried the tomato and basil omelette with multi grain bread which was nicely done.
Also loved the malai chicken tikka! The coffees are great.
It's a warm place with friendly staff and a bookshelf!
Rohan Yadav
Both time we have been here the food has been excellent, bearing in mind some typical cuisines that it offers, is not something one gets to see in Baroda much often. We have tried some Fusion, Indian and Italian so far and it has been really good. The efforts put in y the couple who runs this place clearly show in the ambiance, taste and over all vibe of the place.

Needless to say we will keep going back for more...
Monika Kuldeep
Very tasty... No oil, I tried chicken Keema. Lovely.. next time I will pakka try another recipe
No oil in the Keema till it was too good recipe
Shaurya Kanoria
Easily the best cafe in Vadodara. Good for any time of the day. Be a coffee and a sandwich or a full meal, this is the place to go to. The breakfast I had there was particularly good. Best of luck to the owner.
Pulkit Kanoria
Serves the best breakfast in Baroda! Absolutely loved the pancakes and the omelette’s. Serves really good coffee also. Definitely going back for lunch and dinner!
Charmi Patel
Food quality is the main attraction. You can just feel that it's freshly prepared. Service is also good. I love friendly welcome by the owners . They'll always suggest u good dishes. In total I love the place ❤
Bhargav Kamath

Tarjani Patel
Really nice. They have a variety of menu options to choose from, deli, Chinese, conti, Italian. Loved the apple pie home made ice cream. Must visit for the ice cream.

Chicken was raw inside and it's more oily might be because I ordered on Sunday, seeing the overall ratings of this place I was expecting it to be delicious but got disappointed after having it
Sharan Burla
Chicken is awesome soft and juicy as it needs to be cafe has a good variety of food offered and you can spend some quality time with your loved ones over hear because you will enjoy the Ambience and the Food quality given by these people
Yashpal Sinh Chauhan
My first experience and probably my last. Food arrived cold 😕 food arrived exactly to the hour that too on a weekday. Can imagine the mess on a weekend.Over all a poor experience.
Dhriti Mitra
A delightful meal indeed! Happen to have lunch at the cafe.. the patthar mutton kabab was delicious, must try for non vegetarians! Absolutely wonderful a midweek lunch.
Foodainment
Cafe Fitoor is the place which comes in our mind when we plan a dinner meet up for a group of people. It's just because this place gives a liberty to choose cuisine as per each ones choice.

We tried stuffed mushrooms which have cheese stuffed in it which makes it our favourite dish here. Other best part of this place is you can make your own pasta. Dal Makhani is also something worth trying.

To drink we ordered few mocktails which were super refreshing.
Sanjay Patel
Excellent place for food overall. Comfortable, very good service, very welcoming & helpful owners and very good food - in terms of preparation & taste.
We ordered Patthar Gosht & Chicken steak. Mutton in the patthar gosht was one of the softest I have eaten, taste was excellent too. Getting a steak in Vadodara was itself a pleasant surprise, but on top of that finding it well cooked doubled our happiness at finding a good reliable non-veg place in Vadodara.
#cafe fitoor
I would say it’s best place for desserts! And ofcourse delicious meals too ❣️
Apple pie ice cream is the best !!
I scream u scream we all scream for Apple pie ice cream !!
Both the husband wife duo works passionately or I would say both have the fitoor of serving good food !
Rightly said : having some right obsession in life never hurts 😍
The best in Baroda! The choices are wide and amazing and everything is cooked to perfection. They delight us every time we visit. One of the very few restaurant in Baroda that will keep making you come back over and over again.
Rohan Bhammar
Immaculate and impeccable standards of food which is rather unmatched in a city like Baroda. Restaurant is an extension of the Owner - warm, hospitable and accommodating. Must visit for a meal when in town - you'll get certain dishes which aren't available elsewhere in Baroda. Also they do the best chicken burger!
Kritika Sabharwal
So so good! In love with this cafe. Great food, trendy music, and cute ambience. Love how they’ve put thought even into the little things. Just that they are shut from 4-7pm otherwise definitely one of the best cafes in Baroda! Thanks guys for that perfect Sunday brunch and not disturbing me while I just browsed & lazied around :)
Manish Sodani
Good food, sandwiches are average but "Dahi ke Kebab" is must try. You don't get these at much places in Vadodara. Plain Omlett is also good and spotless....
PopcornKitchen
Cafe fitoor never fails to impress me. I was am a big time fan of their breakfast dishes and also their pasta! Yes, it’s a little heavy on the pocket but the yummy taste makes up for the experience
Ps
Have ordered this time and again from fitoor. Closest to home khichdi I have ordered from any restaurant.
Arnab Goswami
Cafe fitoor is a nice informal, well lit cafe where there are positive messages all over...In words on posters, the colours used for the décor, to the smiles on the faces of the staff.

One walks in and feels at home. Service is good, food is delicious, and there is such a wide variety that people of all ages and all tastes would find something to eat.

The all day breakfast is a great idea. Actually, all the food is great..The service prompt and cheerful.

Would recommend it to anyone who wants to hang about and linger, or anyone who wants a quick bite, or a takeaway.

All in all, one of the better cafes in Vadodar
Neville Daruwala
Scrumptious, delicious, filling, excellent, great, value for money.....words fall short for describing the food served at Cafe Fitoor! Right from a good menu to amazing service...you won't be disappointed.
Kudos to the couple running this joint who are always on their toes and involved with the service.
Whether you are veg or non-veg Cafe Fitoor will satisfy your hunger always!

If you’re looking for the best authentic chicken in baroda here’s the place
Just amazing food plus the ambiance is cherry on top
5plus stars for the service

When it comes to cafes in Baroda Cafe Fitoor is surely the big daddy of them all.

This review is combined review of our three visits that we have had so far and all these visits were of different group sizes and food preferences so you get a good overall feeling.

We have tried pretty much everything on their menu including their breakfast menu which made them a great place to have breakfast while it lasted.

We have had Indian starters (Dahi ke kabab) which was amazing, on the face of it I hate Dahi or any curd products but this Dahi ke kebabs were out of this world!!! The freshness and subtle flavor of dahi oozing through the crispy outer layer. its a must try.

In other startes we have had spinach olive toast, cajun spiced potatoes and all of it was great and they all come with unique sides which in our recent visit was fresh pineapple slices.

In the mains once again we have tried a lot from their Punjabi mains (Nargisi Kofta is highly recommended) to sandwiches, pastas etc, and everything is just amazing.

In drinks department I will recommend the apple cinammon and vanilla shakes or any of their healthy juices where they do good combinations of fruits and vegetables.

From time to time they keep on coming with their specials.

All this is topped with great attentive service, the staff is very friendly and super accommodative of your need.

The only few downsides I can think of is that some of their starters and side dishes portions may feel on the smaller size, also given that its located in one of the busier part of town finding the place to park your car could be a challenge.

But all this should not stop you from experiencing this amazing cafe.

The only wish is that they bring back their breakfast menu.
Mit Rohit
Must try
Awesome non veg dishes. Polite staff
Patthar. Ka ghost
Mighty fitoor burger
Mutton curry
Finger licking taste.
Keep it up.
Must visit

Nice ambience. Food is awesome. One of those good cafes with non-vegeterian options as well. A little expensive but worth it 😊 Would totally recommend going there.

I love this place. Really nice and cosy setting.
The owners are super friendly. And the food is just fab. Total vfm. Before going a friend had advised me to try their dahi ke kebab. When I went there I couldn't find it in the menu . I asked the owner about it and they prepared it for me even though it was not on their menu. And man, what kebabs they made. The best dahi kebabs I have ever had .
I am surely coming back.

Was here a few months back but can proudly write that this place is one of the top in baroda. Loved the ambiance, decor and the greetings from one of the owners who re-assures guests right from beginning.

Loved the food including veg pasta and a paneer mains we had ordered in. Looking forward to go here again to try out other dishes and hopefully also see some new inclusions in non-veg.

Would highly recommend foodies to drop in here if you're looking for some good desserts as well.

Kudos Team!

#fitoorbchickenburger the best I've had in Vadodara. Can't forget the mouthwatering taste of that burger. Awesome chicken sandwich and hot chocolate. The staff is really nice and friendly too.

We went there just once and our experience was very good. Go for there non veg dishes. Patthar ka gosht is one such dish. It was absolutely mouth watering and delicious. Overall ambience is also good. Service is very good.
Raveena Gupta
the garlic bread with the pasta wasnt toasted... just had butter and garlic on it.. and pasta portion too less
Kripa Chowdhury
You get the best steak here in Vadodara. Very few restaurants in the city offer steak in the menu. Fitoor offers steak and that too the best. One chicken steak happily makes a meal for you. Of course, you need a side dish with that. Ours was Pathar Gosht - an amazing kebab made of mutton. One plate of Pathar Gosht has 8 pieces. They are super soft and juicy. A very bright well lit colourful cheery clean restaurant with lots of books to read. The management and staff are very courteous. One suggestion - add some sofa

I had ordered adraki chicken with rotis. The gravy was mildly sweet and had a thin consistency. I had a lot of expectations from this place due to its high rating on Zomato, however, it wasn't worth it.
Ujjwal Munshi
Everything we have ordered has always been delicious. I particularly favour the ghar ka mutton curry! Food is well cooked and the owners give special attention on your preferences.
