Best North indian food in entire vadodra. Butter chicken : 10/10 Bhuna Mutton : 10/10 Everything else is also amazing. Roomali papad was awesome.

Its a nice restaurant in fatehgunj area recently renovated located on 1st floor has elevator no access or parking for handicap ,parking is issue decent crowd ,expensive ,serves ,ala carte veg n non veg tasty food ,staff is good ,live music ,its non veg is very popular ,seating capacity above 100 timing 11am to 11pm worth a try ,menu has large options and kids friendly also

We are so happy that we selected Rangoli banquet hall and restaurant for my family members 25th anniversary. We requested the staff if we can decorate a table and give us separate corner, which they agreed to and also offered help while I was decorating. The food was good, as we were many hence the service was bit slow but manageable. Thank you so much Rangoli staff, specially Ganesh sir and Bhavesh sir.

It has really nice ambiance, great service and the live music is a cherry on top.

We went for unlimited buffet dinner. 1) Soup: 2 types of soup 1 veg and 1 no veg. 2) Starters: All starters were delicious.(2 no veg and 2 veg starters) 3) Main course: There were total 6 sabji. Which included 2 no veg sabji and 4 veg sabji. Taste was average expect paneer sabji. 4) Sweets: Gulabjamun/Kalajamun, Dudhi halva. Both were good. Dahi vada was ok. 5) Dessert: Variety of icecreams. Overall a good restaurant for buffet dinner And Suitable for families. I personally liked their Crunchy rumali(Papad).

We visited the restaurant for lunch on 30th December. We placed our order at around 12:50 PM, yet at around 1:20 PM we still hadn't received our order. We were constantly being ignored by the waiters and the restaurant manager, while EVERY SINGLE TABLE around us had received their food (most of them entered and ordered way after us). We were starving and we decided to walk out, and the head waiter cursed us and told us to go. The restaurant manager paid little heed to our problem. Terrible service, they need to improve their ability to be friendly and welcoming to customers otherwise they should shut down.

Rangoli has been consistently good more often than not. Their USP is their chicken gravies. Murgh massallam, Tawa chicken and butter chicken are always fingerlicking good. Naans and rotis are also excellent and fresh. However their tandoori chicken and tikkas are a hit or miss and also they need to work on their biryani recipe.<br/><br/>But again, there is nobody that does butter chicken and murgh massallam better than Rangoli. And yes, the service is always great.

Rangoli is a fantastic restaurant at Vadodara near airport. I had fantastic fish grilled, chicken Bhuna and tandoori rotis. The ambiance is also good to make you feel better. Had a great time there.

Passing by from the known Fatehgunj area , we just decided to go and try the lovely food from rangoli a well known place in the town since 1980s . <br/><br/>The ambiance was still good , the staff was polite and friendly. <br/><br/>Ordered butter chicken and tawa paratha , the butter chicken wasn’t good , they replaced it again. But wasn’t that taste which we used to have and we lost appetite to eat . <br/><br/>The server then replaced it with tawa chicken in a reddish gravy and it was yummy . <br/><br/>The service was great and quick. It’s best place to visit this restaurant, the restaurant is too old but the tests of their food is delicious.<br/>The ambience is also good n in fact it is located in the centre of city so it becomes a city attraction also.

We have been eating at this restaurant as a ritual every year on 26th January for the past decade. As that's the only day of the year we religiously go to Vadodara. The only problem is parking; it feels like you've parked right in the middle of the road. The food is decent and I think slightly over-priced that could be the reason we find it almost empty and noiseless just how we like it. Service is also decent. They have maintained an average ambiance over the years. We prefer eating here as the food though not mind blowing is decent and we've never faced any problems on a long journey back home after having their food.

We had a lovely meal at this place. The food was terrific, the location was central and the service was excellent. I don't like snobbish places so this was the perfect combo of PUNJABI VEG & NON VEG.

Went for lunch.ordered malai tikka,chicken banjara in starters. They were nice. Quantity was good.in main course had butter chicken and roti. Butter chicken was nice .pricing is expensive but nice place.

I ordered hyderabadi biryani and received a rice mixture with spinich and chicken not even i tasted i rejected the biryani the server told me its the recipie they are following.<br/>Hyderabadi biryani , chicken tikka , butter chicken, chole bhature you go anywhere in india will be more of similar taste and texture but still if someone does not like it will not hold the opinion ki hamare yaha ki recipe aise hai.agar aise hai than the guest should be advised earlier sir hamari hyderabadi biryani comes with spinich puree mixed with rice and NO accompniments are given such as mirchi ka salan and raita.<br/>Although the ambience is great warming and staff was courtious with little knowledge of food being served.

This place has been around for ages. The food is good but the ambience shows signs of ageing. I regularly order food home and I would recommend the buyer chicken, adraki chicken and the fish curry. I wouldn't recommend you goi there, but have the food delivered.

We went in and we're greeted by a smiling staff. The buffet was decently priced but the non veg items served were less. The service was ok type and the food quality was decent. Overall a satisfying experience.

A warm welcome took aways the pangs of waiting time.  Waiting crowd in the lounge also denotes this place is popular. On a warm baroda noon decided  not to try the buffet and get loaded. But took a look of the items in line and felt good from a general feel. Ordered for green salad, kichdi and mixed veg. Mixed it up with papad, punjabi daal and rotis. Desserts are best had when you have a full meal. But this was good and the portions served were right.

I know this place since the day I started living in Baroda but visited it 2 days ago for a get together. We ordered cream of mushroom soup which was crazily creamy. Hara bhara kabab was good but I liked the chutney more. In main course we had veg diwani handi which was more on a bland side. Karari roomali is something I definitely recommend. Dal fry was okay. Overall, the food is not anything extraordinary. <br/>Service was just too good,maybe one of the best in the city.

I was on official tour to Vadodara. I asked my driver for a good restaurant and we landed in Rangoli.<br/>A nice place,good ambience so food also. All staff is well prepared for service.<br/>I had Hydrabadi Biryani, enjoyed the different flavour of Rangoli. <br/>You will be missed Rangoli..

So we are new to city but very old for food. On the first day, this place was suggested by our taxi driver when we asked him for a good place for lunch. The place seems pretty nice and well maintained. Without wasting time we ordered, one paneer sabzi and dal fry. If you ask about presentation, its as simple as it's ambience. The taste was ok for paneer and worst for dal. The tandoori rotis were chewy and thick. Though the service was prompt but we were not much impressed by this place.Surabhi Garge

My roommates and I went to this restaurant for Dinner. Sadly, we  were pretty disappointed. Two of my roommates ordered Chicken Biriyani while I ordered a Veg Hakka Noodles. From what i heard from my friends, the Biryani was not worth the 350 bucks. it was nothing extraordinary and could be found in any small restaurant. What was most disappointing was the Veg Noodles. Absolutely Tasteless. Plain Boiled Hakka Noodles for 220 bucks! I could get better in a food truck!<br/>Not to mention the Staff was pretty untrained.<br/>All in all, the restaurant is huge. That's all. They're selling very basic and bland food for prices too high.

This restaurant has beautifully done ambience with good North Indian food. The dishes prepared were amazing.<br/><br/>We had ordered unlimited veg platter and in the starter we were served Veg kabab and Manchurian which were superb.<br/><br/>In the main course there were many dishes but the paneer dish stood out, it was one of the best paneer tikka I had ever had. I found few veg dishes to be quite over priced.<br/>This restaurant is well known for its non vegetarian dishes too. In the end we were offered three different flavours of ice creams. So desserts were quite good.<br/><br/>So you must visit this place of you are in Fatehgunj!!!!!. I would rate it 3.5 for its decent ambience, average service and quite amazing food.

The Rangoli buffet is your average buffet nothing too great. Going down the memory lane, Rangoli was a specialist of punjabi food. But maintaining that repo is easier said than done. Recently visited the facility only to find that it hasn't lived up to its reputation now. Ambience is pretty mainstream. Taste is okay but biggest dissapointment was cumin in soup. Can be kept as a last resort for punjabi food.

One of the few options of family restaurants in baroda,located in fatehganj.I didn't say finest fine dines, as somehow it's staff requires lot of training to be serving as an f&b service staff. Service-They really need to work on their team, in a business one cannot keep an unprofessional environment. Comming on to the food- their food is good, be it dal fry,palak paneer, chicken Manchurian, butter chicken. The breads are well done,especially the rumali roti! <br/>So recommended for localite families who can make this place their weekend favorite.

The day when me and my family had no choice of restaurant and we need to go somewhere else we found this place what i can say is only 1 star for their services and only 1 star for nothing just by myself thus overall 2, the reasons why i don't recommend this restaurant is that the food is seriously so expensive and as per the taste they have actually is so bad and who charge 75 Rs.for kulch where the quality was not cool at all.

A very old restaurant of Vadodara, however now the best one though. Seafood lovers will love it since they have a huge variety to choose from. Various fishes, crabs and such dishes are available which are not available elsewhere. Service needs improvement.

It is one of the better places for north Indian food in baroda..They even serve sarson ka saag n makki ki roti during winters...there rotis n daal is quite good...

once this place was my favourite for butter chicken but now I guess the chef of the restaurant has changed and the food quality doesn't match with the price list. The rates on menu card are increasing and the food taste is decreasing

Over hyped due to the lack of decent non vegetarian outlets in Vadodara. Now with the advent of non veg chains rest realise that this is over priced and the quantity as well is not suitable to the price tag the dishes carry.

This is a decent restaurant for cheap Punjabi cuisine.  They have very reasonable lunch specials, which offer a nice variety of North Indian dishes.  I had the thali, which I found to be cheaply priced for the area.  The subzi was good and fresh.  The dal was just alright.  I have had better meals, but I suppose it is a good imitation of Punjabi cuisine.  I would come back if I was quite hungry.  You get a lot of food for your money.
