No compromise on quality, top notch presentation , adding it with 7 different types of accompaniments, You'll not demand anything more than it. Ending the meal with a traditional Paan, visit to this place never leaves without an aww. Best place. 10/10

It's a chain of hotel, serving authentic south Indian dishes. Taste wise really good, staff is co operative and cordial. You get many varieties in south Indian dishes and not forgetting filter kappi at the end. I thoroughly enjoy its food.

Delicious food. Reasonably clean. Ambience can be improved. Staff were very polite. Service was pretty quick. You cannot catch the lift from ground floor as the button does not work. However you can get into the lift if it is aleady at ground floor. Overall, good experience. Recommended.

Very tasty South Indian Food. Chutneys are awesome.

Serves delicious delicacies of South in its signature authentic style. No wonder it has it's outlets at various locations throughout India. Just love all varieties of dosas it serves and the chutneys and sambhar. Ofcrse the other southern dishes are great as well, but i keep going back for the dosas with twists. Then they serve pans in the end as mouth freshners. Pleasant people.

One would get all authentic delicacies of South India. Ample variety of Dosas, Uttapams etc. A short range of North Indian dishes are also available. The taste, however, is not very exceptional. However, a good place for a healthy family dinner.

Always eaten here my whole childhood, good place for South Indian food. The dosas are made well, sambar and other accompanying items are well cooked as well. Utappam is suggested. Brownies are kinda messed up, try not to get those. Overall, the parking place is an issue or else good place for eating. Has a lift as well.

South Indian food is love. And as it being authentic South indian food chain. It has to be good. Not the great place but yes definitely give it a try. You won't be disappointed either.

The only amazing restaurant is for the South Indian. Even at the festival, the crowds will get less on this branch so you don't have to waitnig much. Also in the taste, sankalp's name must be heard by everyone.

One of the oldest and very well known south Indian food providers in Vadodara. The main origin of this I think is Ahmedabad. By taking as much costlier as provide very good various types of dishes. For the family time one can prefer this place.

Sankalp, a Chain of Restaurants throughout Gujarat. They have four outlets in Vadodara. We have been here for breakfast. As usual a nice Medu Vada and Dhonsa with various kinf of Chatni.Awesome. I have visited here with my fiance, and he told me to try pay bhaji dosa and paper dosa. I am in Luv with this restaurant. Such an awesome taste. Will go there again.

Great environment with great facility provided by manager as well as waiter with great smile. Neat and clean restaurant with silent dinning area. Every south Indian item taste at well.Have fun...

The hotel was not much yard to find as of the first time in the area as the board was big and saw it in glimpse<br/>.<br/>Just the thing is its is in a very cramped building and it should get in a new place a but big place which has an easy entry to find😅<br/>.<br/>So after getting in u felt nice sitting their ambience was nice the staff was quite polite but thing is they didn't have what they had in menu<br/>.<br/>We ordered the following<br/>.<br/>Sada dosa- the dosa was nice and pain as said sada but the sambhar was bellow average the consistency was like very liquid and the taste was not also like authentic<br/>.<br/>Onion tomato uttapam- the uttapam was nice or i might say average as the salt was a but high for my taste and the massala was i might say absent i dont is it because of high salt or there was really less massala in it by massala i mean like the spices and taste of spices were a bit off<br/>.<br/>Massala dosa- this was the first magnificently dish in the menuu i had two of them 😅 the salt was perfect decent amount of massala(aloo) and at last the word is perfect

A truly amazing meal. The dosas with their special coconut chutney were both delicious and brilliantly presented.

 The service was prompt, the waiters appearing almost prescient in knowing exactly when to re-fill our water glasses or approach our table to take our next order.

 a little disappointed with the idli tough. it tasted a little sour i do not know why but the overall experience was satisfactory.

Wanted to give 0 star but there's no option to give it . Ordered rawa dosa....such a disaster it was . And buttermilk was super spicy and no taste of buttermilk , it was simply water and chillies . The worst sankalp outlet .

Poor service, had to remind the captain several times to serve remaining dishes. Had fond memories of this place when I visited a few years ago, but today's experience ruined my evening. Would not visit this place again.

The food was good. But the schezuan dosa was simply Masala dosa. Schezuan should have schezuan sauce taste or noodles also. That was disappointing. If not schezuan dosa don't name it.

A nice place to have South Indian Food. This place has a wide variety of dishes in south Indian option. A whole new experience trying some dishes. Loved it.

bisi bele bath can be much more consistant. good option is to eat at restaurant.

Location is easy to find and parking facilities are available. Limited space is available so it gets noisy. We ordered dosa platter, spring dosa, chetinad dosa and crispy cheese idli. Taste was good. Orders were getting delayed due to limited service staff.

I went for a dosa but ended up ordering tomato soup as well. They served it within 1 minute of ordering as if they had ready made receipe. Tomato soup was bizarre, oily and bread crumbs were ridiculous. Only thing I liked was the dosa which was served with a bowl of sambar, green, red, chilly, coconut chutney. Giving 3.5 only for the dosa. Don't order anything other than south Indian.

The specialty of chain restaurant is thr dignity throughout the places but this Sanklap lacks that. it was not properly maintained. The place looks old, interior is bad, probably that's why less crowded. The only thing which was good here was the food. The taste is same as of other Sankalp which saved us.  We had Rava Masala Dosa, Mysore Dosa and Corn Cheese Dosa. Corn cheese Dosa was the yummiest, othe rtoo were good. The chutneys and sambhar too tasted good. My rating is for food only. If the place doesn't matter more thn food thn you can visit here.

A horrible experience. <br/>The food was really bad. They probably didn't even know what they were serving. A South Indian restaurant is one which goes beyond Dosa and Idli. We ordered Thayir Idli and Mendu wada. Both were horrible. The curd used wasnt fresh as well. The service was Okayish, but they seemed to be cold towards our reviews. The ambiance was decent.

Nothing interesting about this place. Infact not hygenic at all. It has been a weird experience at this place. Ordered a three barell dosa, doing an insect in it. Ordered Jain dosa for dad, after requesting and changing for couple of times, served Jain sambar. May be the staff needs a lot of training to handle such brand. Franchisee should handle take this as a positive review.

Whenever in doubt about having lunch in a different unknown city, sankalp always comes for rescue.. One can always depend on them as they serve delicious south indian food any time of the day.. but as it is gaining popularity, prices are also skyrocketing.. the dishes that I ordered were the people's champion 'Corn Cheese Dosa😋' and the evergreen 'Onion Tomato Uttapam😇'. Quality and quantity and ambience, everything was on the positive side but they can surely reduce their prices by 20-30rs in some dishes..

It is really difficult to find good south Indian food in Vadodara. Had a craving for uttappam so went to sankalp on sunday noon. Great ambience. Cozy and comfortable sitting arrangement. My friend ordered medu wada which was fine. And i ended up having special tomato masala uttappam which was amazing and delicious. It is a bit pricey as compared to other restaurants. But overall awesome experience. Will visit soon 😋

I was carving to have south Indian food since long time and decided to visit sankalp restaurant as it serves south indian and is well known for it.<br/><br/>When i stepped into the restaurant ...host was there to greet with nice smile...the ambience felt too good with nice Indian music. Highly 2 tables were occupied as it was 4 pm. I decided to choose corner place being alone.<br/>The server immediately approached with the menu and service was nice and courteous. <br/>I odered spinach dhosa and one chaas but i really disliked the taste of dhosa .....i have visited many sankalp outlets and all were good in terms of food quality and taste.....butter milk was good....the only problem was with spinach dhosa- the curry, coconut chutney and sweet curd were fresh and really tasting good.<br/>But as say all days are not good. Over all a good place for good service not the food quality.

What can you review about sankalp? Well really everyone knows the menu. So that's that but the ambience and decor is very nice. A quite place with the trade mark sankalp cutlery. The taste also was at par with other sankalp restaurants. Good place to be with family. :)

Horrible service, mediocre taste.. Goof ups in serving at right tables. Can you guess they outrightly denied giving masala of the masala dosa, separate. I mean one of us just wanted the masala by side instead of in the dosa. And they flat denied!!!!! Preposterous.... Don't ever go to this place.

A great south Indian restaurant in vadodara. They provide you with a wide range of dishes. Some of them are in-fusion with other cuisine like for eg: spring dosa. It is similar to spring roll, except dosa from the outside. <br/>Also the container they use for sambar is so cool. I really liked that. Also they keep refilling chutneys and Sambar.

Nice taste. Tipical south indian taste. I love pineapple uttapa and dry chatni with superb sambar. All items are good. Cost is too higher.

Food- 4<br/>Delivery time- 4<br/>Sankalp has been one of the best restaurants in the city offering south Indian cuisine. I had ordered Variety of dosa n uttappa and had it delivered at home. Tastes authentic and yes the delivery time was just 25 mins. Overall its an above average restaurant.

Went here just as a break from stay at nearby hotel. For a south Indian this place did not seem upto the mark. If the menu is the same across all Sankalp outlets I dont think I am visiting other outlets either.<br/>+++++<br/>1) Sambar taste came 80% close to the Tamilnadu hotel sambar but still the humongous qty of sambar served makes me wonder if people really drink so much sambar given the dosas would not need so much!<br/>2) Will give credit to the chutneys - well they were not the best but atleast not watery dips in name of coconut chutney..but definitely lot of scope to improve and not a tough thing to do either. Garlic chutney had garlic and chillies but lacking flavor owing to almost missing salt/tamarind <br/>-----<br/>1) Menu - Not fully authentic - achari cheesy panneery etc hmm - well there is so much more variation that is south indian than these - kanchipuram achari idly?! seriously?I have not heard of it and neither do I want to try.<br/>2) Preparation - Dosas were thin yes but they need to brown a bit more to call them crispy - cannot afford to have uncooked areas on extremes..Rava dosas were almost like Neer Dosas. So just bit more focus on the method of making dosas and probably even the fermentation level of batter would help serve better quality. Podi dosas did not have enough podi and masala does not mean smearing the red flavorless paste.<br/>3)Cost - South Indian tiffin can't get any simpler yet you charge so much for a dosa then you cannot afford to screw it up in any way! <br/>4)Ambience- Well one can't really count the setup as having any ambience - only feels like they are about to close the place and guinness record from the past is not much of a credential given all the above points matter more for a visitor.

Not the best of the Sankalp in the town but still the ambience and especially the location is good. Food is reasonable quality. They need to work a bit towards staff training and also the parking issue is there here. You can't bring your car to this restaurant.

Despite being Such a famous Restaurant For south Indian Food... The Food is not upto the mark... Idlis are small in size.. Sambhar is not good.... Chutney is Ok ...Dosas are expensive ... Not worthy of the price They charge.

I often come here for lunch as it is one of the most peaceful restaurants in town. Manager and staff need to be little more disciplined, but apart from that, no complaints at all.

Great dosas, great idlis, great rice dishes (love the cheese pulao), great vadas... It's mum's favorite. And I like how it has stood up to competitors like 22nd Parallel.

This particular branch of Sankalp has made a mockery of the brand Sankalp. I mean the moment you enter you will feel is this the original Sankalp? The staff,the service , the food everything was so degraded. Seems something wrong with the franchise.

SANKALP holds the Guinness record for the longest dosa. Its a place renowned for its dosas and uttapas. We went there for a change choosing it over 22nd parallel, only because we didn't want to wait in a que to get a place there.<br/>Sankalp is the second best south Indian food place after 22nd parallel. We had Mysore chat pata dosa, waghar idli and Nilgiri dosa. Mysore dosa was tasty but there was nothing chat pata in it. Nilgiri dosa is basically plain dosa having green chutney spread inside it. Wagher idli was tasty too. I prefer the sambhar here then over 22nd parallel. And other chutneys served are nice too. The staff was a little grumpy and I don't know for what reason. Overall if you don't want to wait in a que at 22nd parallel visit Sankalp :-)
