Review Charmant-the Heritage Cafe - Vadodara

Such an underrated cafe! Perfect spot for hanging out with friends and working silently. I doubt Baroda has a better place than this to go on a date. It has such a cozy environment with enough privacy. Open sitting on an overcast sky would just make your day. Also there are two labradors names sparky and dusky owned by the owners who are veryyyyy friendly. Had an amazing experience.

Just like the name the cafe is really historic and a must visit place. I find the staff very courteous and even the service time was really quick. The tables were very nicely placed and their architecture was a delight to see. There are a few more preserved items being kept over there which makes it quite aesthetic. You can chill for long hours and food options are quite good.

A Century old bungalow of Khansaheb Sheth Faramji Cavasji Contractor... ground floor of the bungalow is beautiful converted to a Heritage Cafe... a cosy place to hangout.. bang in front of vadodara railway station. it offers a wide range of coffee, sandwich, pasta and pizzas... .... worth a place to visit and and for all those pet lovers . There are two lovely dogs sparky and dusky who welcome you with all that love..... Go for it!!!

Found this perfect Heritage cafe, that too just outside the Vadodara railway station. Great Ambiance, Good food, Vintage vibe, Peaceful place to sit and work and yes! its Pocket-friendly, what else you want. You can't miss this place if you are in Baroda. Whenever i am visiting this city i am gonna visit this place for sure. And yes, Shugufta jee was the perfect host for my visit here.

Khansaheb Sheth Faramji Cavasji Contractor's century-old bungalow. The bungalow's ground floor has been transformed into a Heritage Cafe. It is situated directly in front of the Vadodara railway station. It serves a variety of coffees, sandwiches, pastas, and pizzas. Worth a visit, and for pet lovers, there are two lovely dogs, Sparky and Dusky, who welcome you with all their love. What else do you want? A great atmosphere, good food, a vintage vibe, a peaceful place to sit and work, and yes, it is pocket-friendly. If you're in Baroda, you can't miss this place.

It was a bit costly but worth the experience and time. It had great ambience especially the outer area.

It’s a cute, old school bungalow turned into a cafe which gives all vintage vibes. They have separate room/sitting areas. Loved the food & vibe. Right behind station.

Chilled out place, bang opposite the station (platform 6) would recommend this place incase you are waiting for your train, to grab a bite & sip on some coffee. Had the Cappuccino & a flat white (stronger). Would recommend the latter for coffee lovers. Tad bit on the pricy side.

Visited it on Friday, 5th August 2022. If you are in Vadodara and around the railway station this is a must visit place for you. They have converted an old house into a cafe. The vibe of the place is very different. If you are into aesthetic places this would be something which can make you happy 😃. There are games and a lot of other activities which can be enjoyed here.

A nice cafe set on a heritage bungalow. Loved the ethnic interiors. There is a nice mix of different food items in the menu that included hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, pastas, nachos, pizzas, taco, wraps, pastry, soups, ice creams... And even few indian snacks. The cafe serves only veg menu. We had ordered for Pizza (small in size but adequate toppings), tacos (two tacos provided in a place, was nice and spicy), arabiata pasta (awesome taste served with two bread toasts) and melon mogitos (lovely taste and very refreshing). There were many table games and books provided for guests.. we played Ludo and Jenga. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a nice place to spend few hours!

A great place for an intimate meet-up with friends or family. The ambience was pretty cool; a mix of modern and vintage style interior. <br/>We ordered the pasta, brownie, animals fries and fruit cake. Everything was good but the pasta and animal fries were the best. <br/>Highly recommended!

The idea of a heritage cafe is pretty nice. The ambience was really good and cosy. You can come here with your friends or alone to do some work or just hangout. The food was good and reasonable. We ordered Pasta Milanaise Sauce, animal fries, chocolate brownie and fruit cake, the quantity and taste of all the dishes was pretty up to the mark. I can't wait to go their again after the lockdown is totally over!

Old house turned into a beautiful cafe.Very nice concept. Food is good and affordable. You can even chill and read a book or play Jenga with your friends.

Visited the cafe few months back, and was pleasantly surprised. From the food to the ambience, everything was too good. From typewriters kept as show pieces to the doors, everything here oozed of old world charm. The ambience was homely and cosy, with the cafe situated in a bungalow itself. Loved the Animal Fries we had here, and the pasta was good too. Had some milkshake (can't remember which) but it was nothing great. All in all, good place for a cosy lunch date!<br/><br/>P.S. There's also some books in the cafe if you want to sit and read.

I loved the ambience, feel like home. So quiet and nice. The best was the vanilla fruit cake... it was so mesmerizing. And as a coffee lover I got the best Cafe Latte. One can read books and play some board games too. They also have displayed some artifacts and vintage stuff around.

What I ordered - Pasta Ala Mornay, Cheese Trio Sandwich and an Americano.<br/><br/>Charmant- The Heritage Cafe is beautiful inside out, set in a vintage styled bungalow next to the railway station. It's a peaceful and relaxing place which serves really great coffee. Definitely try out the cheese pastas if you visit this place, it is very cheesy and delicious. The sandwich was also perfectly made and tasted great. The staff is attentive and serves nicely. The prices are worth the ambience, service and food you get. To go to a coffee shop and spend some time alone is absolute bliss, especially if they serve good espresso. This place does. Has a old time, quaint feel to the place. Good coffee. Good place to have a chat, or maybe sit in peace and read or get some work done. Loved it.

Being a fan of heritage places , I’m always urged to visit places like that! The ambience is amazing, and trust me; no words can justify it. With food, I had ordered-<br/>Paneer wrap : delicious filling with just the perfect wrap. Ah, and the dip served along is just 🥰!<br/>Herb potato wedges: fried to beyond perfection. <br/>Berry iced tea : ah. What better? <br/>Chocolate brownie : this could have been better. But the place was too good so it pretty much did even it out. <br/>Do do do visit! ❤️

If you only want a place for ambience.. this is the perfect place.. simple cold coffee which i ordered had some coconut flavour in it.. if they cannot make a simple cold coffee right, what do you expect from this place? The pasta which i ordered was also not fully cooked.. the only plus point is the ambience.. so the pick is yours.. good ambience or good food?

This cafe is near to railway station so u can get a medium traffic outside the cafe from rickshaw and other vehicle. I ordered cream and cookie shake, lemon tea, pizza and other 2 thing. Shake was just a powdered milk with cream on it. Pizza was normal and it was missing some ingredients which was mentioned in menu. Lemon tea was good. Wrap was just ok ok. Food which they provide are of home made thing not of cafe level. Service was super slow.<br/>Ambiance :- 2/5<br/>Food:- 2/5<br/>Service :- 0/5

Loved it. Great Ambience. Great food. Great music and friendly staff. All of it makes a great equation for a calm, melodious evening. Recommended 100%. And the two dogs, Dusky and Sparky just add up to the amazing experience.

Been There on the Day of Diwali. They informed the they are newly opened cafe. Also I have tried numbers of things.. About the Food I would say it is 4/5 but but but about the ambiance it was like 5/5. Its a quite place to sit and talk and enjoy some great coffee. The main part they have offered us pastry made by them.. ONE OF THE BEST I HAD EVER... Please visit and enjoy the Heritage Ambiance...!!🥳👍

Perfect peaceful place to hangout.best thing about this cafe is there is no noicy environment at all. It is absolutely peaceful and royal Parsi bunglow turned into cafe. We tried nachos with assorted dips that was awesome. Then we tried barbeque paneer wrap that was really outstanding they served it with some kinda tissue rolled with it to make comfortable for eating. That was just mouthwatering i would say wraps were served with french fries. We also tried cookie cream shake and animal fries. Shake was average in taste. And animal fries were something unique and we liked it so much. This cafe is having beautiful ambience as well. They have plenty of place for dates, kitti parties, birthday parties as well. Staff is supportive and friendly too.

The decor and ambience are great, however the coffees had the same base (couldn't really distinguish between a cappuccino and a mocha), and were a little disappointing. However, the overall experience wasn't bad, and pretty relaxing.
