Review Back To Kerala - Vadodara

Absolutely loved the place! Everything from taste to the prices to the ambience were excellent. Pleasing interior. Prices are apt..They've got a wide variety ...They serve fusion food as well as simple yet classic South Indian food. One thing which I will like to mention is their presentation of food. Enjoyed thoroughly....Good for kids.... Highly recommended...😁

Good variety of fusion Dosa. If you are looking for authentic Keralian food, don’t go there. Personally I loved the taste. My personal favorite is Cheese sweet corn Dosa 😍😘🤪.Five star ambiance with amazing service and comfy seating. You might find some irritated kid shouting or running around 😜. The pricing is towards premium side.

It's a really good place with an amazing fusion of south indian food in modern taste. The vibe of the restaurant is peaceful and the varieties of south indian dishes available are mouth watering. The geni roll and the cocktail dosa are worth a try. Also the corn palak dosa and panner tukda will tingle your taste buds. The management is super friendly and sincere.

Loved it. South Indian food is served here. There are quite a few twists to the traditional dosas. There are dry dosas with a twist and then there are liquid dosas with a twist. I can go ahead describe but that would spoil the fun. Go ahead and visit the place but talk to the owner. He is a very cordial guy who would suggest things. Take his suggestion cause the journey to satisfying hunger is important, we all know the destination. We went for light snack but everybody ate so much because of the taste that we've decided to go back with our hunger really worked up.

If you do not want to explore much, suggest not to try. Because, they are serving nothing special. Taste was okay with normal ambiance but somewhere felt unhygienic. Dosa and chutney was not that bad but sambhar was pathetic.
Kartik Pidatala
Sambhar was burnt with carbon smell. We threw it out!! Horrible experience!
Mansi
strongly regret ordering from this place. dosa was not up to mark. batter seemed like the rice dominant ones on roadside. felt cheated. chutney was not tasty. sambar was totally like some sweet masala gruel with hardly any veggies . i dont understand other positive reviews
Aneesh Wilson
When the order was placed, first of all it was prepared very late & was delivered late due to preparation. Additionally the food was burnt & not tasty at all. The food was spilled over in the packaging

Visited the place for dinner. Told them to make plain dosa crispy, but they made it super crispy like a papad. Jini dosa was yumm, however the cheese masala dosa lacked salt. Good taste of food, but can definitely do better!
Ahna Pandya
Me and my mom visted this place and were pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of the food.. We ordered Jini dosa that too without cheese still it tasted heavenly.... We also ordered mysore masala in which tgey provide you with a bowl of gravy and two thin and crispy paper dosas.... Totally filling and worth the money.... However the medu vada that we ordered didnt turn out to be that good.... It was crispy but lacked taste and texture......Would definately recommend it for the dosas.... The staff were polite and service was prompt

Nishith Chaudhari
Perfect place for having south indian cuisine in my home area... Small decent place with enough sitting arrangement... Ambience and interior was nice... Some authentic items & some unique different items available in menu... Tried liquid dosa... Gotala & mysore masaala dosa... Fantastic plus delicious... Should have try one liquid and one dry dosa, Small negligible regret... Otherwise great must visit palce... 😊

Bad service in home delivery. Ordered 5 plates of idlis to which they gave me only 1 small 250 mil of sambhar. When I called d restaurant they told me to reorder something again and dat dey will adjust d qty. When I did dat....they simply canceled my order. I myself went thr to tk d balance food n staff vry rudely said dat "jitna diya hai usme adjust kar lo" So in short they didn't want to rectify the mistake in anyway. This kind of service is unexpected

I visited 3 times in a year and I must say this is the best option for South Indian food
1. Very testy dosa
2. Nice interior
3. Cooperative staff
4. Best location (Gotri Sevasi Road)
5. Very limited verities of dishes with best price

My ratting is not 5/5 and it 4/5, because service is very slow.

At last "Paisa Vasul Ho Bhai"

Digambar Sanap
Amazing place for south indian food. Some. Of the dishes are unique.
Food is great and quantity is good at a reasonable price. The owners
are personally involved hence the place has been able to keep up to
its reputation. However limited space and if you do not reach in good
time, it's likely you will have to return without enjoying some of the
best South Indian dishes
Mohit
Awesome place for authentic south indian food! , plan accordingly on
weekends or holidays. You might have to wait for your turn to sit
inside and enjoy delicacy from south. Good place so you might have to
share table with others.

South Indian dishes at it's best.. good and authentic taste, economical and verity of South Indian taste. Do experiment with dishes every dish has it's own taste and quality. Avoid weekend rush otherwise your order may get delay because of rush.

Searching for restaurants near Gotri, this one particular restaurant caught my eye because of the number of people that had been waiting outside. Tried to get it that day but wasn't able to, due to the congestion. So the next Sunday, we went there.
The Ambiance was like any fine dining restaurant.
The staff were courteous.
The cutlery was unique. The spoons were made of brass.
They served the food in a very good way and the food was delicious but, the coconut chutney needed some enhancement.
Only con is that they do not accept credit/debit cards.
Nilesh Shah
The food is not upto the mark. Even the Sambhar is sweet. The chutney had no salt. The vada were horrible. The idli was ok. The dosas were ok also.
Parth Parikh
good varity of food one of the good option for south indian in vadodara as there are not much avalible in vadodara ..bhaji dosas are quite good
Keyur Sodvadiya
Best south Indian in Vadodara. Their Mysore dhosa has the best taste. The chutneys are too great, especially the coconut one. A nice place for a family hangout. If you got to back to Kerala, you don't get out without having Mysore dhosa

If you are a south indian food lover, you gotta come and check this place out. Mostly crowded but you will find your seat within few minutes. Dosas here are amazingly crisp. Sambhar and chutney are unlimited and makes the experience even better.
Vishakh Nair
The interior was awesome and very nice place but there is the food is totally opposite from its name there is nothing like Kerala food in there is nothing Malayali in that food it's totally Gujarati of masala dosa total it is like Pav Bhaji it's a new concept of liquid dosa.
