We are regulars to Ustad. Our go to are the chicken cheese naan and the fish tikkas. Highly recommend if you are up for a good tasty tikka-dinner. Also the outdoor rooftop seating is really lovely. Visit in the evenings.

I have been to Ustaad Miyaan at least a dozen times over the last 5 years and it has consistently delivered great flavour and quality. The cheese naans and malai tikka here is undoubtedly one of the best I have ever had. I suggest loading up on entrees here. The main course is as good as anywhere else but the tandoor selection is top notch! The price is reasonable for the quality too :)

It's an old school style place to have good non veg in Vadodara which is something different to have in the city.
I ordered Shikari kebab ₹300 (8 pieces) of chicken which were soft, melts in mouth HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Pahadi Style Chicken ₹350 (3 pieces of tandoori chicken) wrapped with thick Gravy of capsicum and onion
In short I like the place and you can definitely visit here

It’s clean and reasonably priced for the quantity they serve. The garlic naan was great.
The entrees are a bit too oily. Suggest draining the river of oil before serving (on the restaurant end) or eating.

We had an amazing experience in this restaurant. Great food and nice ambience. We ordered chicken cheese naan, shikari chicken gravy, butter tandoori roti and jeera rice. All the items were delicious especially the chicken cheese naan their best seller. You must visit the place.

Ordered Khurchan chicken which is same as butter chicken, cheese naan which was most recommended, and shikhary kebab. Out of three cheese naan was the winner despite of we went to eat non veg. Apart from this, I think that all the three items were expensive than it should be.

There are no rest rooms. They have a makeshift water tank outside to act as a wash basin.

My order contained more than 5 items. They had specifically mentioned that they give raita and papad with biryani, but didn't receive either of it. On calling, initially they had a weird behaviour as to "ab hum kya kar sakte hai?". Later on, they told me that maybe the delivery guy took out the things. Now I as a customer do not know which party to believe.

Ordered paneer tikka masala. It had no taste at all, it was just coated with orange colour and little bit of namesake masala. They were not marinated even a little bit so the paneer was rubbery and it’s like they forgot to even put salt. Tasteless and waste of money!

This is the place if you are craving for some Non Vegetarian spicy food in Vadodara. Don't expect ambience, this restaurant is located in a lane and fully operational after most of the surrounding shops have closed. Food is good. The stuffed Parathas are really good and so were the tawa chicken. However, Chicken Tikka disappointed us. All in all, a decent place to satisfy your cravings for non veg food.

One of my favourite place in Vadodara. They add a perfect blend of masalas to chickens. Also satisfied by the quantity they serve. <br/>But I was quite disappointed on my recent visit, as I found that chicken was not properly washed before cooking due to which some blood was observed while sorting tangdi (leg piece) <br/>But this happened first time with me so I would rather consider it as mistake and ignore it. <br/>Overall, it’s a perfect place for satisfying your cravings for chicken 👍🏻

I did prepaid order which was having CHEESE GARLIC NAAN in it but when order came there was no naan 🤯 and after that i called zomato plus USTAD MIYAAN but zero helping team. Visited here recently. The place is more of a casual joint than a proper restaurant. But nonetheless serves amazing food. I am not sure about other things but I had Cheese Garlic Naan which was served with green chutney and salad. The Naan were amazing, properly stuffed and fairly priced. I am a vegetarian and though this place is really famous for its chicken dishes, I usually end up here for the cheese nan they serve.. really tasty cheese nan and amazing tandoori paneer. Perfectly marinated and cooked for just the right amount of time . Cheese nan with the spicy and tangy tandoori paneer is heaven for me ..and hence this place is a go to place for me .<br/>All I want is they improve their ambience, but I think they have opened another outlet and achieved that.

when i got the delivery it was biryani instead of murgh kurchan makhni which i ordered. i then call the restaurant and they said will deliver your order in half an hour but they delivered it in 2 hours and said they want their biryani back. i for sure refused becoz biryani was of no good it was smelly and was not at all good but they argued and took the biryani. so that they can give it to another customer. so the service is not good the man who came argued with me and was not nice at all and the food was cold.
