Review Ajay Hotel Restaurant - Vadodara

They maintained food tastes as it was before 5 years, I visited today almost after 5-6 years and found food tastes as it is as it was.

One of the oldest restuarant in vadodara. The taste of their food have remained same over the years. One of the best place for non-veg lovers in vadodara. You may find ambience a bit shaby but you will be satisfied once you will have their food.

Good food. They have a good spread of non vegetarian .you can try their kerela parotha with chicken . Place is small they have hardly 6-7 tables . Very old establishment

Tried first time and had pleasant experience, very good taste and quantity at affordable price.

Its one of the best place in near by area to have non veg at a very very low cost. Its a family run business and they only have one outlet. They make fresh food every single day and all their tandoor dishes are one of the must have at this place. Its almost always full but you can always go for take away. They also have fish fry which is really tasty. The owners are Keralite and they are very nice. I would definitely recommend this place for all the students and family in this area looking for non veg food. Highly recommended for students for obvious reasons!

Ajay Hotel serves Vegetarian & Non Vegetarian delicacy both. No dietary requirement or restriction menu served or available. Good Hotel for Non Vegetarian lovers, servers variety of dishes. Tandoori items are really good. Service little slow, hygiene not upto the mark, best option to takeaway. Usually very busy in evening. Staff friendly and cooperative. Good location, easily accessible, but not kid or differently able friendly hotel.

Great service and the quality of food is amazing

Go to place for non-veg lover. May be due to its proximity to cantonment area, non vegetarian items consumption is very high and therefore you'll find everything is very fresh and hygienic...Must Try items include Tandoori Leg, Chicken Dana, Fish Fry (Surmai), Thick Gravy items (Prawns, Fish, Chicken and Mutton). Price is genuine. Taste of tandoori chicken is good. Dine in not recommended as it is little bit congested.

Amazing and authentic food. It’s an affordable rate. Non-veg lovers should try this and Veg too. The tables are few and the place is small but guarantees owners nature & heart ❤️ is beautiful like a taste. Thank you Ajay Bhai for the best class service & food.

A very good for a stomach full non veg meal, lot of types of biriyani, tandoori chicken and egg meals, I will go there a 100 times, so should you if you get a chance

Ajay Hotel is a very old n reputed restaurant known for simple yummy non veg dishes at affordable rates! This may not be a great place for ambience.... But the food is hygienically prepared and tasty. Good for take aways via zomato and swiggy!

Well I don't have much experience with ordering non vegetarian food, but still I go with this restaurant. The delivery service was good, it was on time, but the food... my god! I would like to describe it separately as follows:<br/>Chicken Biryani: Well these people are I guess some type of magicians, because I ordered Chicken Biryani and I was very excited about it, but as soon as I opened the box, kaboom! It turned out to be Egg Biryani!! I can see that these people took Harry Potter too seriously. I appreciate their magic, but not the trick. I was hoping to have Chicken Biryani after a long time, but was very disappointed when they delivered Egg Biryani instead. They had truly let me down.<br/>Chicken Masala: I'm not sure about how does it feel to float in a oil sea, but my food, Chicken Masala certainly knows that. It was all some chicken floating on oil, what a masala did I get! Again, I was disappointed with that.

Best non veg restaurant. The tandoori chicken here is to die for. I've never had such juicy tandoori chicken in my life before. This place is a 7 star, seriously

Ordered a Chicken Liver masala with 05 butter chapattis. Delivery was on time and packing was okay. The butter chapattis were properly made, but the Liver item, although quite tasty, was extremely oily. I had to decant some of the excess oil from the container before I could start eating. Quantity was more than sufficient.

Pathetic food if u order in qty they will deliver good food but if u odrer single food worst sorry not worst pathetic they will deliver I think this guy's are. Only running for money that's y this is the result I would suggest everyone if u want order big from them else don't

It was really a bad experience for my latest (second or third) order from you guys. It was not packed at all in a correct manner, also not sealed, which resulted in draining out of all the curry of chicken into a polythene bag. I literally never expected this kind of service from a restaurant connected with Zomato. My money went in vain.

Basically it’s a place where you would like to visit with your friends for lunch or dinner or anything it’s pocket friendly ambiance is good

I order chicken fry thick gravy from Ajay Hotel but the quantity provided was very less. The size of the box in which the order came was small than the normal parcel boxes. This is really not expected. Even the gravy wasn't thick as expected.

Ordered Mutton Biryani but first time ever in my life I saw that smelly tasteless rice packed with tasteless mutton piece is called mutton biryani...couldn't afford another bite and threw the whole thing into garbage...they should refund my money!!

I always have fish fry here... And it is amazing... The masala they put over fish... The orange colored.. It adds to taste of fish... Just one thing... It needs to be less oily<br/>

Ordered boneless chicken biryani from this restaurant. The food served was cold and the taste was blend. Did not enjoy the food at all. Even the chicken was not marinated

Pathetic taste. Yuk...I will never order mutton Curry again. No taste, no flesh, only bone. Felt like eating rag. No taste at all. Sorry but It was bad experience.

Got parcel with 2 pieces of fish and a paratha. Paratha was soft and flaky but no salt.fish fry was extra salty. One of the fish pieces was having lot of fat so it was like so soft,oil and not at all crispy. But another fish piece was well fried and dry so it was good. Over all disappointed with inappropriate salt proportions and fatty fish.

Worst experience. Not to recommend at all. Ordered Mutton curry turned out into boiled eggs curry with excess oil. They doesn’t know the difference either sustained crocked services.

I have ordered Chicken tandoori masala 2plates full. And found 2 leg pieces of boiled/fried instead of tandoori grilled. Got cheated Feeling disappointed and dissatisfied when I was craving for tandoori chicken

I ordered Chicken Tandoori Masala and  Butter Chicken, Both the items were good, but Chicken Tandoori Masala was very very oily. It can be prepared with less oils also.

Delicious food, great taste of chicken, very good service and the good thing about the hotel is the food and also it is open late night it’s also pocket friendly .

I never expected such a pathetic taste of food, it was too much spicy...how could butter chicken be highly spicy? Chicken Biryani again no salt just spicy.. I think this restaurant loves only high spicy food... Please tell me how spice makes a food tasty.. you really need to check your Chef.. I am sorry, I never comment like this but being a foody... I found my taste buds burning.. :(
