Review Nice Restaurant - Varanasi

Best flavours I have ever tasted in a thali. We discovered this place on our last meal in varanassi… had it been the first, I don’t think we would have Gon anywhere else. Great prices, great value, great flavours, and lovely owner!

This small, family restaurant is opposite to Ganga guesthouse. It's very nice like his name. Welcome place. Tasty food. Various dishes. We went two times per day during our stay in Varanasi. It's was our canteen. Highly recommended

I had a Madrasi thali and before pao bhaji.. The owner is indeed friendly, and you can meet his wife and son. So it's a family place, clean enough, with wifi if you need (ask). The price was good value with quality, the taste was like home.. Quantity right. I guess it's mostly for wester tourists, but i saw also indians.

Easy 5 stars, for real skip other near places, this is the BEST ONE, Babu it’s an amazing guy along three months in India it was the first person to ask us if we want the food spicy or not. This is home made food so don’t expect short time, it’s going to take the enough time to try your best food in INDIA.

We went at 10pm and they served us dinner kindly. Vegan and non-vegan curry (not really spicy) was super tasty! Clean place also. Totally recommended!

The Thali was delicious! Especially the eggplant curry, pala paneer and the dali are amazing :) the whole plate was 200R, so price-wise ok! The family working here is caring and nice, totally approved ♡

This restaurant is indeed very nice. The owner is super friendly and you can realize that he really cares for his guests. The food is delicious, the prices are fair and the service is quick. I really enjoyed it.

abu owns this colourful restaurant that is decorated with paintings of his children. Visitors made the decorations here, because they love Babu. He is always smiling, interested, and ready to help or chat. Luckily he is also a great cook, his Indian food is some of the best I've had in the country, balancing flavours just right! Besides, nice restaurant has some incredibly cheap and tasty burgers, as well cheap porridge and curd breakfast. Even ask for something that's not on the menu, like kichdi for the stomach, and Babu will often make it.

Nice Restaurant should be an obligatory stop for anyone visiting Varanasi. We visited twice in two days and they were the best meals we had during our trip in India. Babu is the kindest of hosts and an extremely talented chef. He even shared one of his special recipes with us. The only issue with this place is the name, "Nice Restaurant" is a massive understatement!

Wonderful restaurant with very friendly owner who gave us great advice when ordering food. We ordered a range of dishes and it was all very tasty! He even took into account that we wanted something less heavy. Highly recommend in Varanasi!

Delicious breakfast, Puri Sbjji, Bannana Curd and coffee all for 100rps. Lots of other dishes. Simple clean Guesthouse, hot showers and roof terrace. The family were very caring and helpful.

Great value and great food! Here people are friendly and always asking if I need something. Feeling home and comfotable. Everyday I tried different food and they were all nice :) Dont be afraid to try! Here make you happy.

I loved the food of this place, you have a lot of options in the menu (Indian, Italian, Israeli, Continental food), very clean and confortable place, prices are very good and his owner and chef is such a good person. I am little bit sad because I just found this place at the end of my journey.
