Great taste and quick service, though very crowded due to its popularity so he cautious about when you visit as you may have to wait to get your order. Best dishes for me were Chura Matar, Dahi Wale Gol Gappe and some of us liked the Tomato Chaat too..

Really in love with the chaat and other menu items. Everything was so yummy and had a different taste. It's a must place. Try to add variety as everything is so good. The prices are very reasonable. Almost each item costs Rs 50 except falda.

One of the two best Chaat Bhandar in Varanasi. They start at 2pm and hence one should reach only after 2 pm. By evening, you will not get a space to sit. Once you occupy a table, you will get up only after tasting all the individual items served here. The best is tomato chat and then the aloo-tiki chat. Overall great experience and amazing food. The kulfi-falooda form outside vender was great to finish the meal here !

Food is ok ok type.. As saw on you tube about the recommendation of this place but i didn't found that much good in taste... Such taste you can find in any chaat shop in varanasi

The food here is simply outstanding. Difficult to get a table. We tried everything on the menu (first 11 items). Loves everything except dahi bhalla. Tomato chat and gulabjamun my personal fav and shouldn't miss. The best I have had. Samosa is also very good. Surprisingly, the noodles (chowmein) was also very good. Definitely worth a visit in Kashi.

When you're in Varanasi chaat is one thing that you're bound to have! This place was suggested to us by friends and our drivers, so we had to check it out. The place isn't too big which is one of the reasons that it gets very crowded in the evenings. People literally spill on the road waiting and eating whatever is possible. The menu isn't too big and some things like Chura Mutter are seasonal. We had: Palak chaat - Crisp pakode topped with dahi and chutneys. Good. Tamatar chaat - Served in kulhad and a bit too sweet. Seemed overrated. Dahi vada - Liked it. Chole tikki - Not so good, honestly. It had ragda in the topping. Didn't taste as expected. Golgappe - Good Kulfi falooda - Not too sweet and quite delicious. There are Chinese items available too. Rates are reasonable and service is prompt. You can visit this place to tick off your Varanasi list.

Food is really good. Tried different chats and they are all lips smaking. Despite to being very corwdy in evening, we got our order very soon. Must try Tamatar Chat...its good and the location is also not difficult to find.

One of the most iconic places in Kashi to have chaat and fast food. This place is almost always jam packed. Serving a very wide variety of chaat dishes to choose from namely Golgappe, Tikki chhole, laccha tokri, papdi chaat, Tamatar chaat etc.. Deena Chaat bhandar should definitely be on your bucket list during your stay in varanasi. Every chaat they serve tasted exceptional. The prices are super cheap and affordable. The only downside of this place is just way too much rush which spoils the arrangement as a whole. Must visit

This is one of the most famous chaat place in banaras. I loved everything here if you are visiting banaras you must go here and try there chaat. Special tamatar chaat, golgappe, palak chaat, aloo tikki chaat everything was so yummy I will surely visit here once again if I will come banaras

If we compare Deena Chaat to Kashi Chaat, Deena is better in terms of sitting space. Deena Chaat has a better seating space and comparatively less hot because of the larger seating area. Chaat is very reasonably priced and tastes great. Pure vegetarian, no onion garlic.

Their pani poori and dahi poori are brilliant. Have seating arrangement unlike many other chaat eateries. Service is prompt. The place is almost always crowded.

Recently I visited Varanasi with my family. So when we were on the way to kashi vishwanath mandir, we saw this outlet and since it was on my list we hopped there straight away. It was around 2-3 pm and we all were hungry, so we ordered variety of chats available on their menu. We ordered Banarasi chaat (tomato chaat), dahi gol gappe, basket chaat and dahi bhalla. Out of all, dahi bhalla was my favourite. It was sweet, soft and melt-in-the-mouth which will make you order more.I ate 2 plates alone 😝😝 Rest tomato chaat was something new. I like that khata meeta aloo tomato wala flavour. Basket chaat was good too. But this is something you might get in Delhi-NCR as well. The only thing I didn't like much was dahi golgappe. The gol gappe were not crisp but moist but flavours were good. So overall experience was too good!

I've heard a lot of Deena Chat Bhandar but my experience has been really bad! The salt in Chowmein and chaats are excessive!!!

One more famous place to have Chaat in Benaras and it's often pitted against 'Kashi Chaat bhandar' so I decided to try both.<br/><br/>Deena is definitely more hygienic and more spacious than Kashi.<br/><br/>In terms of taste , the tamatar Chaat was good here too, though the taste was a tad better at Kashi. Golgappe, however, were very disappointing as the water was same as Delhi, some readymade powder stuff mixed into water. Not worth at all. It's a disservice to the Chaat legend of Banaras to use powder in your golgappa pani. Not acceptable.<br/><br/>Worth a try if you want to sit and have Chaat. Will be better breathing space than Kashi.

Didn't liked there khasta kachori with chola, it didn't come with it. And the tamatar chat is not good, they say they make it with a little gravy,but it's only tomato gravy nothing else.

The place was good and filled with ambience. It's a great place to start the adventure of street food of Indian Culinary. All the delicacy here are vegetarian. So, buckle up get down early and early I mean around 07:00 PM otherwise the place will be filled and you'll have to struggle to get a seat. Have fun, Enjoy! This is my favourite place to sit and have some delicious banarasi chat. I have been here quite a few times. I have tried the Palak chat, Golgappas, Tamatar Chat, Papdi Chat and Kulfi Here. The Kulfi was the best. Loved everything else too. The service is also fast.

One of the best places for chaat. It has been the favourite place for chaat for people in Varanasi for many years now. The seating area is limited. I love the gol gappas. Their gol gappa Pani is chilled and very nice. We love the gulab jamun and choora matar here.

The food is always very delicious. The tamatar chat, aloo tikki, gol-gappe and gulab jamun are awesome as always. A wonderful place to taste the street food in Varanasi.

Had heard a lot about this place and therefore was expecting good things. The first thing that puts me off at any eating place is hygiene. It was pathetic. After that no matter how good is the food it spoils the mood. The seating arrangement is also not good its not only uncomfortable, with the paint off but long benches end up with wall on one side leaving no space for the person to move out. Do not expect washbasin etc.  There are a variety of chaats and the taste and service is quick but the whole ambience is not commensurate with a chaat bhandar that is famous in the country.

I had visited Benares(Varanasi) for a few days on the occasion of Mahashivratri, along with a few friends. We had just come out after attending the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and our bellies had given out a cry for something to eat. We quickly made our way to Deena Chaat Bhandar which was hardly 5-6 minutes away. Deena Chat Bhandar is a Legacy in Benares and they have been serving legendary Chaat at their shop for over 5 decades. It had been started by Deena Nath Kesari on small portable stall and people used to wait eagerly every evening to get their hands on a Kulhad(that's how they serve it till date) of Spicy and Tangy Tamatar Chaat. There now stands a shop serving a great number of people everyday.<br/><br/>When we had reached there, the place was completely packed with people. People were sitting at the tables, waiting for their orders, people were receiving their orders at the counter itself and enjoying the Chaat standing outside the shop and people were waiting for their number with all the determination they could gather. This only meant one thing - Chaat meant serious business in Varanasi.<br/><br/>We were six people and it took us around 45 minutes to get a table. We were literally starving for food at that moment and we ordered six plates of Gol Gappe, six plates of Aloo Tikki, two plates of Papdi Chaat, two plates of Palak Patta Chaat, three plates of Tamatar Chaat and six plates of Gulab Jamun. The Chaat itself was the dinner. First came the Gol Gappe on the table. Each plate had six Gol Gappe and Jaljeera water served separately in cup. I picked up one piece, cracked it on the top, poured the Jaljeera Water into it and popped it into my mouth. The taste was completely mind blowing. They were unlike any Gol Gappe I have had before. The water had the perfect balance of sourness and spiciness. They were the best Gol Gappe I have had in my life. The taste was totally refreshing. Next came the Aloo Tikkis - served crisp and hot topped with 'Saunth','Hari Chutney', Dahi and crisp Papdi bits on the top. The chutneys had really fantastic flavors. Each bite was a relish. Next came the Palak Patta Chaat and the Papdi Chaat. The composition was same as the Aloo Tikki Chaat. The Palak Patta Crisps and the Papdi were freshly prepared which added taste to the already flavorful Chaat. They were simply lip-smacking.<br/><br/>And then there was the famous 'Tamatar Chaat'. This was a unique preparation sort of like a bhaji prepared with loads of tomatoes, potatoes, onions, chillies, spices, sugar and dollops of ghee to top it all. It was more rich in flavors and something different from the Chaats we had been having uptill then. It was spicy, it was sweet, it was tangy, it was fiery and yet every flavour was complementing the other perfectly. It was as if a dish been prepared for the Kingly folk had been served in front of us. Such was the goodness and royalty of the Tamatar Chaat. Each bite was as good as a bite of heaven itself. Finally to balance all the sour and spicy flavors arrived the king of sweets- Gulab Jamun on the table. The Gulab Jamun were hot and fresh and they completely melted in mouth. It was the best way we could have ended our meal.<br/><br/>We were completely satiated in terms of hunger as well as in terms of tastes. It can be evidently seen in the picture of empty 'Pattals' below. It was a complete delish. In the end all I can say is that "One must not simply leave Benares without experiencing Chaat at Deena Chaat Bhandar"<br/><br/>

I had seen great review of this place, so expectation was high. Place is crowded and mostly people from other cities due to this being in vicinity of Ganges river and temple. There is provision for siting but if you are short on time , you can get your order and relish taste while standing. In evening you may have to wait to get your order. I tried Aloo tikki chaat, Tomato chaat , Samosa chaat and Chuda matar. Aloo tikki chaat and Samosa chaat were god and above average. Chuda Matar is different than what normally expect would be Poha. Tomato chaat is average. Service is good and quick if you do not want sit and wait for table. There are many places in Varanasi for chaats and they also serve with good taste, but here you get variety at one place and items served are fresh. Overall good place to test taste of Benarasi chaat for visitors.

Churma mutter <br/>All of these dishes were mouth watering in appearance and the taste was even more than that. I just came back from the place and I am thinking to eat it all again. Visited deena chat bhandar yesterday with my friend. Started with pani golgappe. It was so yum. Everything was just perfect. The pani was so tasty. Then we ordered basket chat. Seriously it was one of the best chat I hv had till day. Superb experience. Must visit this place if you are in Varanasi.

After so very long I wanted to taste some savoury street food and what lease can be other than this place because it’s one of the best for trying chat and golgappas in Varanasi. I have had the best golgappas in a long time from here the crisp in the bite was just amazing. The basket chat is one of the best mixed (khaya Meetha) taste it’s like a million tatse buds are bombarded with flavour. The have quite good seating area as well with respect to other eateries like this.

Hands down the best tamatar chaat I’ve had in Varanasi. Or any chaat, for that matter. Loved it! It can get quite crowded at times, and I preferred to just stand on the street and enjoy my chaat. I had the tamatar chaat and the Papdi chaat, both of which were really delicious. There’s nothing like a hot bowl of chaat on a cold winter evening.

One of the best places to have chat in Varanasi... near to Vishwanath temple. Would definitely recommend there tomato chat which is unique and must try. And there seasonal churra mutter is out of the world

Being located in a busy, crowded part of the city, it's a clean, cosy, small place with various options in the menu to order from and very reasonably priced, too. It's one of the very good and old places to have chaat & few other Indian delicacies, in Varanasi.

If your are looking Authentic Banarasi Chat so this is the place. This place is little crowded so sometimes you have to wait for sit. Must try Panipuri, tamater chat, Aaloo tikki, samosa chole and gulab jamun.

A place serving chatpata chat in nominal price. Tried their aloo tikki chat and samosa. Both were yummy! Thumbs down to their service though as you have to wait in long queues to get your hands on anything... :P

I ate chura matar & , tamatar chaat.. Both were awesome delicious I loved it... Must eat.. If you are coming to Varanasi then must visit this chaat bhandar.. It's fantastic

Banaras is also famous for chats and golgappa. In the banaras many shops are famous for tase of golgappa and chat......deena chat bhandar is one of them .... But my experience was so so ...golgappa was avarage and chat was below the avarage......

Delicious snacks and affordable prices. A small menu but every snack is worth a try here. Definitely recommend of visiting Varanasi. Ample seating, though even that can get crowded at times.

To be honest Deena Chat Bhandar is bit overrated, aloo tikki and tamatar chaat is okay but not upto expectations,pani puri disappoints me every time,dahi bada is upto the mark. This place enjoys its location and space,service is fairly quick taking crowd in consideration.
