Food was nice. The View is to die for. Seeing all the recent reviews, I was sceptical before visiting but I had a great experience. The Paneer Butter masala was very delicious. Everything was very neat and clean.

Nice experience with a great view. This restaurant gives you a beautiful view of Varanasi ghat. It gets more amazing in the night but prefer to go in the winters it's more pleasurable and you will fall in love with Varanasi. Tasty food with reasonable price. Staff is cooperative. Easy to locate from dashashvmedh ghat. Best to visit once on your trip to Varanasi. I had a good experience.

This place has got an amazing view of ghat. One can sit and enjoy the pleasing view of ghat accompanied with good food. There's enough of space as it has got terrace as well as interior space too ,both are lavished beautifully.Talking about its food,it was good though some improvements can be done in the dishes where there was potato a main ingredient.Like Achari aloo or Banarasi dum aloo.Other than that I loved the food. We had Katie date shake,Irish cold coffee, gobi lollipop,Achari aloo, pasta ravioli red sauce, paneer sandwich gravy, pineapple cheese sticks, rasmalai, mix variety rotis and aloo dum Banarasi.🌼 ⭐Staff was too polite to help us during our visit. One should surely visit this place if you like to have a good ambience with good food.

Tasty food and clean restaurant. I searched many restaurant in varanasi and finally found this. The staffs are quite helpful and attentive. They speak both English and Hindi well & good. Cost of Food is slightly on higher side. But taste and quantity is worth for the price. I ordered briyani... and not able to finish the briyani. I enjoyed the riverview and finished my Lunch.

Nice restaurant, they have an open air balcony with a nice view of the Gangas, and a closed floor with AC, food was ok we had spaghetti with red sauce and it had a variety of vegetables it was very filling and delicious, also the mix veg. Curry with a garlic chapata was tasty. The bathroom could use a better a clean.

Nothing beats a creamy, thick chocolate shake after a nice burger and fries. It's the perfect decadent, drinkable dessert or snack.
Sometimes, what we are finally served looks tempting and chocolaty but tastes unlike how we expected it to be. On our lucky days, we may come across shakes that taste as heavenly as they look.
This one is from @thedolphinvaranasi *Tastes heavenly*
.

#LATEPOST

PLEASE DON'T VENTURE OUT UNTILL & UNLESS IT'S AN EMERGENCY - STAY INDOORS & KEEP YOURSELF & EVERYONE AROUND YOU #SAFE 🙏

#Varanasi being primarily a #Veg food destination - I was not left with much choices during our family vacation to this city earlier this year.. Having said that, I was pretty happy with one of my discoveries - #DolphinRestaurant at #ManmandirGhat..

Situated right on the bank of river #Ganges - this two storeyed restaurant with an open terrace offers you a perfect ambience for a meal with an excellent view from almost every table - ofcourse, a vegetarian meal only.. Prices are slightly on the higher side of the spectrum but the service is top notch..

The #ColdCoffee was perfect for me - thick and frothy with loads of chocolate..

I must admit that the #RussianSalad that I enjoyed here was by far the best I have ever had till date - fresh cream and freshly cut exotic fruits made this one hell of a combination.. Fell in love instantly with the first bite..

#BakedPotato was an heavenly affair with an overload of cheese and potatoes (one that every Bengali foodie would vouch for)..😄

#MUSTVISIT whenever you are in Varanasi.. 😍

#VaranasiDiaries 🕺

Journey of an Epicurean Cine Trotter continues.. 👣

Thank you all for being a part of our Facebook family - Kolkata Food Trotters - please #LIKE & #FOLLOW our #PAGE as well - Kolkata Food Trotters ❤️

This place has its own rooftop restaurant which makes people attractive for river view. All kind of foods available. Sharing The cuisines which I have tried there. The Iris Cold coffee makes my day. Other food items were also yummicious.
Many of the family gathering held over the rooftop. So it's safe and sound good for families.

I recently visited this place, this place is situated at the dasaswmedh ghat. This place has both outdoor and indoor seating, such a beautiful view from the top of the restaurant. It has lovely ambience, basically foreigners used to visit this place. Now talking about food, they serve us-:
Kafir Date Shake
Irish Cold Coffee
Alloo achari
Pasta ravioli red sauce
Spl Paneer sandwich gravy
Gobi lollipop
Aloo Dum Banarasi
Mix varieties roti
Rasmalai
Pineapple cheese sticks
All the dishes were good but some dishes needs improvement. Presentation of the dishes were so good. According to the food their prices are lit bit high. I truly recommend to try this Irish Cold Coffee and kafir date shakes. They were amazing. All the dishes staffs were good and humble. Their service were quick, So I truly recommend you all to must visit this place..
Food Frolicking
This restaurant located at the heart of the city serves you with a variety of cuisines. The ones highly recommended are Irish Cold Coffee, Pineapple Cheese Stick, Rasmalai, Ravioli in red sause, Special Paneer Sandwich Gravy and Rasmalai. The Indian cuisine could be worked upon a little. The ambience is lit. They also have a roof top seating area. You can enjoy some quality time with friends and family with a perfect view of river Ganges. The service is nice and the vibes here are cosy and comfy. The place is best suited for dates and events.

This restaurant is located right at the shore of Ganga ghat, which itself provides it with breathtaking view of Ganga and the innumerable boats floating on it. The ambience inside was comfortable and welcoming. The menu was quite exhaustive and was serving across most of the cuisines. The food tasted nice. The service was slow however.

Dolphin Restaurant - Dashaswmedh Road, Varanasi

In our recent trip to Varanasi the city of Lord Shiva, we had a lot of street food and also visited this beautiful restaurant beside the banks of Ganga. This restaurant have a mesmerising view of river Ganga and will you out of the world feeling.

We order the following items (as we already had a lot of street food)

1. All Veggies Pizza
2. White sauce Pasta

The food was good although you can compare the same with a cafe in Delhi or Mumbai but yes it was tasty and crisp. Again the unique point is the view with which you have the food and it was great.

So this place is a must try if your are in Varanasi.

Overall Rating 4/5

A bit pricier than most but clean premises and excellent food. Real attention to detail in the cooking and presentation. All vegetarian cuisine but are delightful the best part is the river ganges in gront which makes it more happier place.

Situated at the holy banks of Ganga River specifically at the Dasaswmedh Ghat, this place will give you one of the best site view of Ganges!
Food~
All of the dishes we tried were of amazing flavour and quality.I liked the Kiwi Mocktail and their Dolphin's Special Pizza the most.We tried their Chocolate Shake,Brownie with Ice Cream,Hakka Noodles, and Baby Corn too.The taste and the presentation of all the dishes were very yumm and up to the standards!
Ambience~
Talking about the amazing ambience they hold😍,so they have their restaurant divided into two parts. One is the Rooftop area and the other is the ground floor sitting. You will adore their Rooftop area the most, the ambience and the views of Ganga makes it the most Beautiful!
The indoor seating is also very nice.
The Service and the Staff both are very satisfying and quick.
You will surely have a good time here.Visit with your loved ones!
Must Recommended!

I'm giving 3 star only for the ambience of the restaurant and good behaviour of the staff. I visited Varanasi last July and went to this restaurant, I had ordered Mojito which was too sweet. They should be more concious about the taste of what they are serving. Thank you.

Had a dinner at this top roof restaurant near dasawamedha ghat. One can enjoy a great view of river ganga from here along with the tasty food. Overall I had a good experience here.

I have been to this restaurant with a friend. we were not there for lunch but still we tried couple of items which were a sort of spinach and peas tikki with chutney and bhindi masala, with naan and roti. I must say everything was simply delicious and I had to ask the chef the recipe of the bhindi which were so different from what I usually have in Delhi. Apart from the food, there are no words to express the beauty of the view from here. The ambience is classy and clean. I suggest to go here for dinner and enjoying the view of the Ganges (see attached pics)

Don't trust the owner, they think that foreigners are foolish. We asked for menu and he said that there was not menu, after other people(local)had the menu. Don't go there, BTW the food was not even good. Just for give you an example: a couple of toast with jam and cornflakes plus milk 450 rupies after one hour of waiting!

The view of the Ganges and the decent ambience are the only redeeming factors of this restaurant.

We were happily stood waiting for a table to become free, when the staff insisted on making us sit with a woman who had barely finished her meal, creating an uncomfortable and unnecessary fuss, which was only salvaged by her friendliness.

The food is incredibly overpriced for what it is - they are clearly trading on their location and reference on the Lonely Planet. Also the waiter wasn't able to explain the food on the menu, and what was served was quite different from what we expected. The attached photo is 'Brownie with ice cream.' As you can see there was no ice cream to be seen.

We only went there because the bakery that we were looking for was unfortunately closed that day, and we honestly recommend you to go anywhere else in the surrounding area.
This place has been renovated and it looks very classy. They have come up with an entire new menu which I think is overrated. I had hot coffee and cold coffee and I think they really need to learn how to make a coffee. Coffee (milk) was super thin and I find it very disappointed that they serve it in a tea pot with a cup. The cold coffee was also thin, not price worthy. The ambience was amazing, the staff were hostile and the service was also good and the view from the window was breath-taking. But I think they need to work on their coffee, which I heard that was very good though it leave me disappointed.

We were recommended this restaurant by the Manager of the hotel nearby where we were staying. The food was good. A pan Indian menu. We pretty much enjoyed all the items we ordered. The view from the roof top is awesome, and no issues climbing 6 odd floors for it.

Service however was very disappointing. The look on the face of the staff was like "what the hell are you guys doing here?". It was evident from their demeanour that they prefer Westerners to Indians. When we saw beer being served to the foreigners and asked for two cans for us, we curtly told that they serve beer only to guests who are staying with them. However this was not true. Since we saw beer being served to two guests (westerners) who were staying in the same hotel as us. My friend and I decided not to make it an issue, since we were there for dinner and not for beer. And creating a ruckus for a can of beer isn't worthwhile anyhow. Given this treatment of Indians by the staff, I will never visit them again. Later, our hotel manager told us of the issues they have with brawls by Indian guests following alcohol consumption. However, this does not mean every Indian is going to create a brawl. And if someone does so, employ a bouncer to take care of the situation. Holy Ganga is flowing adjacent to bring senses back!

I would have given a higher rating if the service was good and non racist.

La gran gracia de este lugar es su hermosa y amplia Vista al río, por lo que es genial poder tomar desayuno en la terraza mirando el paisaje. Comimos un omelette que estaba bien, lo mismo que el té Chai y el jugo de mango.

The view is unparalleled, and this is what they are marketing ... And not the food. The food is at least the chicken I tried was not good. The chicken was uncooked. Another drawback it was very costly and they don't accept cards. Don't go there if you are going for the food .

I came here with a group of friends for a quiet lunch, but I was slightly disappointed with the experience. Firstly, the staff wasn't too helpful in serving, or even seating us for that matter. Secondly, the food was quite expensive. It was far more expensive than other restaurants I had visited around the city. The portion sizes weren't great either. I stuck with a lassi and ended up sharing a small plate with my friends. Honestly, you are paying for the view. It's quite a sight to behold against the Ganges. I don't think there are any higher rooftop restaurants with such a spectacular view. That was the most memorable part of the restaurant sadly.
