Speechless indeed,
Finest of fine staff, each of them will always be ready one foot to serve you scrumptious delicacies.
Innumerable updown (as their pantry is on lower floor and restaurants on roof top) still maintaining those big satisfying smile which is such a pleasant thing to see before devouring food.
Must try their chai

Must visit when in Varanasi

This is one of the best place to eat if you are staying in Varanasi. Located inside Alka hotel, this hotel offers an amazing view of the Ganges. The staff are are nice.. location is amazing. They serve vegetarian but have a lot of options. The only problem is service is slow. Otherwise a good restaurant in Varanasi.

One of the better places to stay & eat in Varanasi. I've been eating at this restaurant since 2010 . It has probably the best Ganges view ,best sunrise view ,boats and above all good vegt food in open. The place is generally filled with foreigners who stay in the hotel. The owners are truly gentle and Mr Muna & all the staff members will go out of the way to help you

“Absolutely brilliant experience!”

Right from the first e-mail reply till the check-out process, we had a fabulous experience at Hotel Alka. And after taking a look at the locations of a lot of Varanasi hotels I can safely say that Alka Hotel has the most perfect location with walking distances to the Baba Vishwanath Temple, Kachodi Gali and the Dashwamedh Ghat! And the view from the hotel balcony is so serene & calm; we spent hours & hours doing nothing but gazing at Ganga Ji flowing right infront of us. Another awesome part is the food at this place' just like home food with lots of variety and quite quick delivery time. I must commend the entire staff of this hotel too for their excellent service and always with a smile! Special Mention to Munna Bhaiya who is a man for all occasions!

Special Tip: Don't miss the Ghugni and Dosa breakfast which is just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel; it was definitely the most special highlight of our trip!

So if you are planning a trip to Varanasi look no further and just book Alka Hotel for a special treatment and that too at quite reasonable prices.

Had our afternoon tea here and quite enjoyed the cheese tomato toast. However, the green salad didn’t look so green. The view of Ganges/Ganga river was great even though the fog was pretty thick. Staff was friendly and informative. Price was pretty affordable, too!

Quiet place with a nice view on the Ganga. Food is awesome there. I took the Kaju paneer and it was so tasty, perfect spices. I will come back for sure!

This is one of the best restaurant in entire city. Loved the food and the behavior of owner which is quite friendly. The service delivery is awesome and the meals served are of top quality and is hygienic. The infrastructural facilities are also nice here. Many people especially foreign tourists regularly visit here for their favorite foods.

excellent place to have fresh food. you order food and it is prepared and cooked freshly . No preservation. though it takes a bit of time , but the reality is that there is no preservation of food. the tourists like me love this facility. the open balcony is so appealing. the pure vegetarian restaurant is so clean and freshly served food
