Review Downtown Pizza - Varanasi

Nice location with amazing view of Assi ghat. We ordered cheesy garlic bread, vegetarian medley pizza and icecream-choco fudge waffle there. Pizza was good but the waffle was hard. Affordable price with hospitable staffs. I highly recommend the cheesy garlic bread.

This is one of the best places to eat a Pizza in Varanasi. Sitting along river Ganga , you can feel the cool breeze in your face with an amazing view. Besides that, the pizzas are really good. My personal fav is the Vegetarian Medly pizza. The satisfaction is enriched with pleasant view of assi ghat. Definitely a must try for someone who wants pizza with the best view in Varanasi !

This is a really nice and cozy place to hang out with your gang of friends and chat over Pizza and fries! It's a small and cute place with beautiful interiors and also has balcony dining available so that you can eat and enjoy the view of the Assi Ghat too. Had a pleasurable experience

A beautiful place on assi ghat to eat and chill with your besties. Pizza here is amazing as I am regular customer. The chef if very kind and humble. Night time is preferred for me to enjoy here as you get good food to eat while enjoying the ghat lines and mesmerizing view of Ganga ji. Do visit here guys. You'll love the place.

It's a beautiful place with great food. Overlooking the Ganga river and situated right next to Assi Ghat, this tiny yet cozy cafe not only excels in ambience and service but also with their delicious food. It's a perfect place for a date, a meeting, a cup of coffee and snacks or even a family gathering. We ordered loaded fries and mint mojito. With cheese loaded sweet and sour sauce topping the crunchy fries, there's almost nothing that can beat it. The occasional sip of cold mint mojito colleges the meal. All in all, it's a great restaurant with a pocket friendly menu.

Such a good pizza! Try the Paneer supreme! Really loved to dine here after the Ganga arti!

Location is great. Pizza is a bit expensive, compared to Dominos and not as good. (They did add some extra gov. Tax to the bill but they did not write that anywhere in the menu or elswhere. If taxes are not included it has to be written in menu!) UPDATE: now taxes are written in the menu.

Downtown Pizza<br/>Located on beautiful Assi ghat, Varanasi its has a great ambience and a classy interior and the pleasant rooftop view of the holy Ganges and the ghat adds more points to it . <br/>The staff here is very generous and friendly but the serving time is a bit longer but that is totally compensated when you eat their amazing variety of pizzas I’ve tried their margherita and farm villa pizza and both were just amazing and cheesy although I felt that the farm villa was a little overpriced in contradiction to what it has to offer and if you’re a dessert lover you should try their apple pie as well.<br/>The place is totally neat and clean and offers both indoor and outdoor sitting with majority of young college going crowd.<br/>

I have visited the restaurant but the food today was completely not as expected. The pizza base was undercooked and in the Garlic Bread the bread used was common bread slice. Please maintain ur standard both for dine in and takeaway orders.

This place catches eye whenever at Assi. I tried the Veggie Pizza and Oreo Shake. The pizza was good with a well baked crust but the Oreo Shake was average. I felt that the place is a bit over priced. The service is also a bit slow.

Really calm ambience...the food here is good but it can be better...I'll give 3 out of 5 for the service...one can enjoy the view of assi ghat with some refreshing bites.

The biggest advantage of this place is of being at prime location of assi ghat....the ambience is welcoming , cozy and good....staffs are polite but had to remind them couple of time for water and for orders....had garlic bread exotica which was cheesy full of flavors but was bit charred from bottom also had farmhouse pizza which was deliciously cheesy , the flavors of corn , mushrooms and other vegetables were just amazing....one of my favorite places for pizza will be visiting soon 🙂

27.02.19<br/><br/>If The location itself is very nice what else you want. Downtown Pizza serves you a good range of tasty pizzas and mocktails. Have tried their Chipotle Paneer. Cheese and paneer and veggies were generously put together. It was crisp and hot. The bread was thin as I like my pizza. If you are around Assi that this place deserves a visit.

This is just placed perfectly adjacent to Assi Ghat. They have both outdoor and indoor seating place. Outside having your pizza , you can have a view of the Ganges. They are famous for their wide varities of pizza , thin crust pizza, the taste was really good. This is the best place for pizza in the town.<br/>Food: we ordered Veg Fiesta Pizza and Cheesy Garlic Bread as side along with Green apple fizz and rasmalai shake. The pizza is incredible with a perfect crust and tons of toppings and cheese. The Green apple fizz was great and Rasmalai shake was incredible with small pieces of rasmalai but a lil bit sweet. The Cheesy Garlic bread was delicious and one of the best.<br/>Ambience: They have indoor and outdoor sitting space. The indoor space is beautiful with attractive furniture and the outdoor space is stunning with the amazing view of Ganga.<br/>Service: service is fast and great.<br/>

I visited this place a week ago. It was 9 in the evening and the sight was really amazing . The location in just eye soothing. And the pizza was also good I tried a mushroom pizza with extra cheese layers and it tasted good..5/5 for location and 4/5 for the food.

There are a lot of options for pizza in varansi. And when a new place comes up specially for that dish there is a perception that it has to be good. The downtown pizza clearly does not do justice to the pizza.<br/><br/>They have a prime location attracting a lot of tourist. They have sitting arrangement inside as well as outside giving you the view of the Ganges. And this is only attracting thing about this place.<br/><br/>The pizza was not hot , we had to remind the waiter few times for our order , also a lot of waiting time. It seemed they had stuffed almost all the ingredients without thinking about the taste.<br/><br/>A big no for the drinks too.<br/><br/>

I asked for water , and one pizza i ate that dry pizza with no toppings which i asked for , and waiting for water till the end , staff was rude , manager was not listening anything , only the location is good else nothing .

Hello, food was good although I am not sure if the delivery boy made it or the local monkeys? The toppings were scarce, and the cheese divorced the bread base and went the other side, maybe because the bread was not baked well. Lolz you make me wonder 😕

I ordered a pizza alongwith a jalapeno dip and all i got in my order was just a pizza , no jalapeno dip . that's a very good way to scam people , high five to you guys , your pizza sucks.

Only the ambience and location of this place is nice. The food is pathetic and so is their staff. I had ordered a veg fiesta pizza and peri peri fries. The pizza base was thick and soggy and when we made a complaint to them about it instead of admitting their mistake and correcting it they were giving excuses and saying the chef says it is prepared like this only and the base became soggy due to water from veggies.<br/>The peri peri(which should be piri piri) fries were also disappointing. There was no piri piri in it and just for giving it a name they sprinkled some herbs on it. Also many fries were prepared from rotten potatoes.<br/>Overall, the experience was really very bad with this overpriced place without any quality food. Even the homemade pizzas taste better than their pizzas.<br/>

downtown pizza " assorted fries" arr worst fries , I have ever had in my life. Just Simple fries and poorly fried. They will mislead you by giving false descriptions..there are no "cheesy balls" just potato fries

Downtown Pizza is a new addition to existing pizzerias in Varanasi. Its a beautiful place to be with friends and family and can be visited solo too. The pizzas looked great too and tasted incredible. I wasn't sure at first about this new joint, but once I sunk my teeth into a slice, I realized I wasn't missing a thing. All in all it was a great tasting pie, and I'll definitely visit again for more amazing pizzas very soon.

This is right on the assi ghat with an awesome view of ganga river. I have tried French fries, a random pizza and pasta. They serve pretty fast and I liked the sauce they serve along French fries. Menu is pocket friendly and staff is good.<br/>

The service was quick enough. Also, the Penne Alfredo Pasta with the sweet corns is a must try! However, the Margherita pizza wasn't as impressive as the prior order.
