Food tastes great, owner cum chef speaks good Bengali and cooks better Japanese with notable amount of pork.
Serving is slow as he prepares everything single handedly after you order and talks to you in between if you want to. He suggests what to eat too.
P.s. avoid miso soups here.
A place which builds its own Didgeridoo, a person there who talks about life while your food is being prepared. You get to play Didgeridoo as well. These are all the side dish about the restaurant, now comes the main course. The food!! Man I have never seen any restaurant like that. Pure Japanese and Korean cuisine.... If I would have eaten in hands I would have bitten my fingers.... A must eat place.
Traveling as a photographer with a bunch of fellow photographer friends, Our search for gastronomic satisfaction led us to many restaurants and cafés, all big disasters after another.
When we used zamato to source for this restaurant which served Japanese food, we were honestly very excited yet at the same time a bit skeptical. The skepticism came from past experiences in Varanasi.
Once we got to the place the first thing that attracted us were the collection of various didgeridoo. The restaurant run by two brothers has an amazing ambiance. While the older brother took our order the younger sat and shared with us the art of playing the didgeridoo.
We gave it a try but we weren't as good.
Then after a session of music it was time for food! The aroma pulled us towards it, and once we sat down and tasted the first morsel it was heavenly. We tried gravy noodles and tonka tu. Must try for anyone visiting Varanasi.

Amazing...... First time tried Korean food and I love Kimchi..... Pork..... Sticky rice.....😘 Also they showed me the photo menu n it's really innovative n fun..... Love this restaurant... But it's hard to find without Google maps..... Lots of patience and hard work needed for scooty driver in those lanes. So I prefer to park your scooty out on road and go by self because I got tired while driving in those lanes only by asking people and Google map..... But at end of tour and having nice Korean food make my work worth.... I will definitely go there again.
Mitu’s food is like a piece of paradise. From my side, he’s one of the best chef in Varanasi. We’ve tried egg rolls, chowmein, momos, and chicken masala with porotha… Dear Lord !
Plus, his prices are really democratics !
I had my first meal at Kashi here and it was fabulous. I still remember checking in my hostel after a tiring bus ride at 9:00 pm i was wandering around the old and narrow alleys exhausted looking for a place to have dinner then suddenly i found this place and i still remember having one of the best chowmins i have ever tested.
