Review Basant Bahar - Varanasi

Let me clear one thing Here. There is two shops with same name first *shree* basant bahar and second is *the* basant bahar... Genuine and old shop is *shree* basant bahar...now coming on review section .. being local of Varanasi since my childhood I am going there...price is genuine and taste is also good specially famous for rasgulla, rasmalai,(normal day) and in winter they provide son haluwa is delicious and unique taste.. i m giving here only 4 star because change with time they have not changed there outlook and infrastructure.. overall experience is good ...

Fresh sweet served here and other items are also well prepared and tasty.

Rasa malai is awesome.....ummmmm!!!!!...tried their Rosogolla....that's also superb....my kind of Bengali sweets.....I must say rather admit ....it's one of the best Roso malai and Rosogolla I have ever tasted.

Old banarasi sweet shop with best chuda matar in winter. Try their mango shake in summer. Rest things are jst normal....not that good nor bad

मै यहाँ गया था और मैने यहाँ पर समोसा खाया और रस मलाई भी खाई । दोनो स्वादिस्ट थे। मै यहाँ अपने पिताश्री के साथ गया था। यहाँ बहुत सारी चीजें देशी घी की बनी मिल जाती हैं।

The basant bahar is a very old restaurant and sweet shop. I love their pav bhaji probably the best i had till now. They do serve amazing samosas and lassi. The sweets are average in taste and not that good as compared to other sweet shops. Improvement is needed in staff and service.

But whatever arrangements are, they are self - sufficient to seat 10 - 15 People at a go. <br/><br/>Sweets, Lassi, Khaste, Gulab - Jamuns, Rasgulles, Rasmalais, Chenna Sweets, Khoya Sweets, Everything here is Quite Cheap and Economical. I had kesar Lassi with malai. It was given in a purwa. It was fine. The Lassi was thick. Malai was good too. The taste was fine. Kesar flavour was good.
