Review Lemon Grass Fine Dining & Lounge Bar - Varanasi

Located a bit far from the ghats (20mins with auto), this place became nice change of air from usual restaurants around ghats. The place is clean and comfortable. It was empty when we went there. The service is fast and efficient. The food is only OK, it's not that bad but it's not that delicious either hence 4/5. They serves alcohol too.

Quiet and good place to eat and also for those who want to drink, there is a separate Bar next to the restaurant attached. The service is ok and prices are also fine.

No South Indian food options. Otherwise a pretty good selection of the usual Indian cuisines.

A fine dining restaurant for a family which offers both veg and non-veg. Taste and quality of food is very good, service is also good. This restaurant also has a separate bar section for those people who wants to drink alcoholic beverages. Lighting in the restaurant is very dim which should be improved for the guest, and cutlery quality should be upgraded. Overall this restaurant is a good place for family dinner.

This is a good place to have dinner. I have been here for 3-4 times and every time everything was just perfect....The taste of the food the service the environment. I would recommend everyone to experience this restaurant.

Roof top ambience is excellent. Food & servicing is also good. This is a good place to throw small parties. Everything in the main course was delicious. I specially loved the veg steamed momos here.

If I want to have some quality time along with aware me food in Varanasi Lemon Grass is one of the best options available. The ambience and service is awesome. The taste of the food is really good. The best thing I like their is lemon corriander soup.

Momo was totally bland. U can try other items other than momos . Lack of salt,spice as well as flavour. Chutney was too sweet which failed to add taste to the momos.

I liked this restaurant as a good place to have a fine dine experience. The prices are a bit high comparatively. The interior is classic and exterior gives you a good feel. Service and Staff is good and they always serve you with smile. Had hakka noodles and Lemonade. A simple dish to start off the day. The open restaurant has a pool side to spend time and have fun with families and friends. Perfect for dinners and kitties.

I generally visit lemongrass at lahurabir because they are rich in Italian food especially Pizza they serve !! 💯<br/>For me the taste is is amazing & heavenly tasty but coming to the price and quantity it is quite sad! 🤤<br/>If you want to go for frequent visit you cannot afford that but if you want to try something tasty and just once or twice then do try this out! 💯

This is one of the nicest place to hangout be it with family or friends. Been there with a friend. Had chilli chicken dry and blue lagoon. Chilli chicken was too good. Blue lagoon looked and tasted awesome. Ambience very nice. Staff prompt. Service good but could be a bit more faster.

Yesterday I visited with family! Having complain about Butter Chicken; it was not good. . Ambiance was good bar was specious. Afgani chicken was nice. Service was quick.

The food was OK but the prices were very high. Did not receive the value for money.. The ambience was dark and the floors were flooding due to leakage..

We visited the place during Holi. Restaurant was bustling with guests as it was a festive week. Excessive people made the environment stuffy.<br/><br/>Service was on the slower side. Food was just fine. We ordered chicken fried rice, chicken noodles, chicken manchurian and chicken Hong Kong style.

If I r going to eat alone I think it's not value for money. They serve so much that u can't eat alone and price very very high compared with the food they provide.avoid this hotel if u r going to dyne alone.just imagine half tandoori they charge 345

Been there once. Interior is pretty good but food is horrible and overly priced, So I would recommend you not to go there or at least don't have biryani there. You would regret it later. This is how their biryani looks like

Never try food here as u will get many products already cooked before you order to save time they do this so quality big issue. I ordered laccha paratha and there was no oil, very hard to eat, no salt. So no Satisfaction that's for sure as how much you pay , you will never get the quality of the food here as its coz when there is popularity in name then the quality decreases because they know people will automatically comes and they can earn their profits for sure no matter what. Even they don't follow fssai norms and if ask for parcel they pack it up in these attached plastic bags which for sure not at all good for health, they behave like it's a brand and charge for papad too and that too is of that much quality, texture, that one should pay for.

Quite a bit early expensive and food is good but maybe not as good as what you expect given the high prices. Service was fine. The ambience, decor was commendable while location though easily accessible is at the one of the traffic congested areas of the city.

Nice restaurant in Chetganj.It serves good food.although the environment in the restaurant is not nice as when we went there the waiters were fighting amongst themselves in a very bad way.I just did not like that scene.Hence I would have increased my rating by .5 <br/>However the food it served was nice and also the quantity of the foods was amazing.We were four people and we all were overfull there<br/>We ordered honey chilli potato.panner mirch masala and dal tadka.<br/>Dal tadka had oil floating on top.Certainly not a good choice For dieters.<br/>Overall a nice experience

Visited this place after hearing from some friends, the ambience was good and there was not much crowd so it is nice. But the quality of food we ordered was not ok. We ordered 2 starters & 1 main course, but frankly telling it was just ok. Will never visit again.

Visited Lemon Grass with Ujjwal, Sanjay and Sujeet. The bar and restaurant are downstairs (basement). One flight takes you to the bar, a second takes you to the restaurant. <br/>The bar is not large but comfortable with low lights. No music but the wall-mounted TV was tuned to a news channel. The volume was low. OK, why are there TVs in restaurants and bars? Tuned to a sports channel, maybe, but the news? Seating is dated couches and faux leather arm chairs. Smoking is permitted. The best part - drink prices are VERY reasonable. But, finish what you order as they frown upon taking drinks to the restaurant. <br/>OK, up the stairs and down the next stairs to the restaurant. Seating is mainly at tables for four. One wall contains a built-in aquarium - wait, this is the aquarium next to our table in the bar - nice use of the aquarium as a divider. <br/>Service was good and all meals were served at the same time. If you are following my reviews, you know this is important to me. We had standard Indian fare and an onion & pineapple pizza. The food was good but we didn't order anything that would be a test for the chef. <br/>At the same time as we were there, there was a family of three and a group of westerners with a guide. Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves. I didn't notice any smoking in the restaurant. <br/>Apparently, there is a rooftop restaurant as well. However, the rainy season precluded it being open. <br/>The Lemon Grass is on a main street but you will need good directions - you have a GPS, right? <br/>I'm adding this restaurant to my list of favorites.

Have been going to this place since my childhood. Located in heart of city,location is perfect,its a small cozy place with nice interiors. The food here is yummy.Have been many times with friends and family. The place has improved over years.<br/>They provide nice north indian food. Service is quick and prices are perfect.

I have been in Varanasi for my B.Tech, and have been here many a times. One word about the food here: Finger-Lickingly Delicious. The tandoori items here are probably the best you'll get in Varanasi. The vegetarian starters are a little less spicy, but will be customized according to your taste. We are a group of 11 friends, who regularly came here to have dinner, and just couldn't move past the starters. The starters, both veg, and non-veg are very good. So, if you are a student of BHU, get ready tonight with the gang, and visit this place. And, oh, don't forget your college ID card.

This is yet another underground restaurant with some beautiful decor and pleasant interiors. The food quality & taste is a good but are served in less quantity as compared to it's price. Haven't yet tried the bar products there. Soon will try & present the review.

Just one word for its tandoori items - Wow !<br/><br/>Came here for dinner today with my younger brother. Ordered two starters - Bangani bahar chicken and malai tikka. Both the items were delicious and moderately spiced. Chicken pieces were tender, well cooked and fresh. While bangani bahar chicken was with bone, the malai tikka was boneless. Quantity was more than sufficient for two people. We had these items with stuffed naan. We also had 2 lemonades which were too sweet - it tasted more like rasna. They also have a variety of Chinese items to offer. <br/><br/>Our bill was 1149 INR including all taxes - which is value for money given the quantity and quality of the food served. Certainly a must visit for fans of Indian non vegetarian food !

Best one at Lahurabir. Unbelievable flavoured food served in well mannered and peaceful environment. Two times with wife and enjoyed a healthy food however their Chicken Biryani is not so well flavoured.<br/>

Husby loves the aloo dum banarasi here. Chinese is good too. Once went with a gang of cousins n tried sizzler stop. Pretty descent I would say.

It was a late rainy evening n i was way to hungry to hunt for a good restraunt so i just saw n went in here wdhout further exploring..n trust me it was far better n yummier than expected..a good restraunt wd bar serving delicious food both veg n nonveg..wd a feel n ambience which helps u to relieve some stress n njoy food..however i found service a bit slow n not so friendly yet ill nt skip a chance to be here again overall its a nice rrstraunt

Some body recommended me for Non veg here , it was worst i had in my life , they need to improve their quality of food or  else people will stop coming , i agree the ambience was fine staff was good but end of teh day if food is not good i am sure they will struggle , i know in banaras choice of good restaurant is less but then minimum standadr has to be maintained

Food : was good and tasty it sed to ne fresh and i actually liked the spicy tinch !<br/><br/>Ambience: when i saw this restaurant i perceived it to be lavish , i am not saying that it is not but the entrance gabe me a perception . well..ummp..recollectingI had been here in december when i visited varanasi & chose to visit this place in lahurabir. Though i kept stuffing myself with the regular banarasi food i missed the mumbai taste as well.. this place did'nt quite dissappoint me.. the food was somewhere between good and excellent yet not so yumm that you end up licking your finger's..but you'll find a lot of friendly atmosphere here..should be tried before leaving varanasi.

Good food, good enviroment, tryinghardtobefriendly waiters. Not vast area-wise, but you will hardly notice the cleverly seperated bar area.

ok ok restaurant.. not that great food to die for. A fine spacious dining restaurant for families and yes it has a Bar, so good for those who want both food and DRINKS!!!
