Never knew some with place with darbhanga name in it existed in banaras. And it is famous for the arti view.
It is very calm and peaceful here. It is named after the royal family of the princely state of Darbhanga from Bihar. The ghat has a grand Shiva Temple. It also has a shrine of Kukuteshwara.

Darbhanga Ghat has beautiful architecture and is more peaceful than the more popular Ghats. The best time to visit is from October to March in my opinion. During this time heavy winter clothes are recommended.
