We went there as this place was advertised all over our adjacent BHU hostel and packed paneer and chicken dishes with veg-chowmein and rice. The menu-mentioned fish-preps were not available tho. <br/><br/>The expensive servings were too small-portioned, tasted average and the place is not at all recommended if you're looking for a quiet place to sit and eat.

Not a single element of this place justifies the name of the cafe (unless Fidel Castro secretly loved Punjabi music with undercooked chicken.)<br/><br/>We went with the staff’s recommendation of Handi Chicken which, if served to the people of Cuba, would have led to another uprising. <br/><br/>The chicken was disastrously undercooked in a bland orange gravy. It was the first time I have walked away from a place in the middle of a meal. Never going back there again.

Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my friends during our visit to " The Fidel Castro Cafe' and Restaurant " Lanka Varanasi.<br/>My friend Himalaya bhattacharya had a wonderful time and liked that he could order special food " kadhai paneer" and chef could make it so delicious that he could eat it .<br/>If you wouldn't mind telling me that from that day we friend has decided to arrange every party in my bestie " The Fidel Castro Cafe' and Restaurant".<br/>Thank you also for having the special Handi chicken and butter chicken for some of my friends Rishav Raj , Abhishek etc <br/>I tried paneer chawmin and it was delicious.<br/>It is so nice to know we didn't have to worry as much about our food while on vacation and that we are able to order it within time under negligible delivery charge .<br/>Once again thank you So much for everything !<br/>We really enjoyed the day and you and your staff helped to make it that way ! Oh it really is great from inside. I thought its a normal kind of cafe i guess becasue they are neww till now. But very retro interiors. Looks cool. Staff is really very friendly. Food was awesome , i liked their Non veg specially. Vey reasonable and i should say cheap for the quality of food and restaurant. If u r in varanasi visit it for sure. Its food is really different. The manager told me that they are a startup so they will expand.

I was exited to try the fidel castro after so many times of heard from my friend ; so my friend and myself came in for dinner after work. Its a good place, neat and interior is awesome. Our taste buds had a good experience!<br/>Awesome food ..<br/>Especially kadhai chicken and chicken roll..<br/>Very different taste..<br/>Must try if u want to have a great Indian Muglai cuisine..<br/>Must visit again..
