Review Zaika Family Restaurant - Varanasi

Went there for lunch on a weekday afternoon. The place was mostly empty with a serene ambience. The food was simply delicious. Great experience.

Very nice restaurant. The food was really nice. Took 10-15 min to serve which is okay. Staff behaviour is good.

If you're looking for a place to serve authentic food in Varanasi, this is it. Zaika serves a wide range of vegetarian and non vegeterian cuisines with pocket friendly prices. It is good to go with family and friends. Service was too good as the staff members were polite and well behaved. One should definitely try the fish afgani tikka which was new to me but it was lip smackingly tasty. They had their own version of biryani which was zaika dum puk biryani. It was also delicious. One should definitely visit this place 😃and dine out with friends and family 💁

They serve both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. From soups to desserts, they serve them all. The kitchen is rich and hygienic. The ambience is really cosy and the service is welcoming.

Services are little dull but atmosphere is good and the place is hygienic, totally neat and clean. Dishes are pretty good but not out of the mark and it will be much better, because if you live in varanasi then your level of taste is much higher than normal. Otherwise my favourite dish is Hakka noodles with dry chilly paneer, it's really good and I loved it very much and you will have to try this at once in ZAIKA. Over all it's a pretty good experience to be here and If you come to varanasi or you live in varanasi then please go through it and you experience a good quality food here.. thanks zaika....

Celebrated my anniversary there everything was good and food was above than average and fair.. Service needs to be improved more frequently. As staffs are adequate but some how not available at required. Overall it was good.

The pizza tasted good it has good portion of chicken, cheese, toppings(veggies) and sauce ,and the base was perfectly crisp and delicious but the taste was slightly sweet but overall it's a delicious pizza to try at zaika.

This place serves really good food. And the staff members were so polite and well behaved. Everything served here was authentic in taste. This place was spacious too and good to go with family and friends. The owner of this restaurant was too polite to make us aware of the recipes of the food. Cool place to spend some quality time with friends and family or loved ones with having their delicious delicacies.<br/>I had Fish Afghani Tikka, Paneer Kali Mirch, Chilly Fish, Crispy Baby Corn which is very of their restaurant and last but not the least Dum Puk Biryani.<br/>I loved the Lemon Coriyanda Soup they served in the starting. This place provides amazing food along with an aroma which stay hours of diet. The most amazing is the infamous murgh makhani which has been highly recreated as one of the legendary taste. Mughlai is a must try and if possible the humongous chicken chilly which is a standalone!!

One of the best food places in Varanasi. If only it served alcohol it'd be perfect hangout place! Love the ambience and the staff sevice.....

We ordered Cheese balls, Fried rice and Amritsari meal. Like it's name, the food really does have a good zaika in it. Definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately the service wasn't great. Many customers were left waiting for a very long time. There were flies everywhere and we got food poisoning from the food. Sad as we were reccomended this place<br/>

The resturant isnt great with managing their online orders as for the past two times they have delivered half plate order for a full plate order and have charged the complete full plate price from us. Will surely wont be placing an online order from this resturant again.

I had ordered for Golden Fried Chicken and received only 02 pieces of the same against a payment of rupees 250 while they didn't mention the quantity in the menu but I was expecting atleast 04 to 05 pieces of the ordered menu item. Still I could not understand how costly was the dish.<br/>My concern is that restaurant owner must mention the quantity of the dish very clearly in the menu so one could decide before placing the order.<br/>Very much disappointed and not expecting the same from the restaurant like "ZAIKA".

A nice restaurant to have your food from. ordered chicken masala online from here , the taste was delicious with fresh chicken pieces. The rate compared to others vary a little but once you get the taste you won't thik about the price. Should try this restaurant.

Zaika used to be my all time favorite when I was there in Varanasi during my graduation days. I and my friends alwaysa used to eat there because first it is pocket friendly second tasty food and third great seating arrangement. Must try chicken changezi and chicken biryani. Both of them are extremely delicious and mind blowing.

Centrally located... Great Ambience and the food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. Cold coffee, Chinese everything tasted was very delicious, highly recommended. Loved it and definitely will visit again.<br/><br/>

Nice decor.. Great place to visit with friends and relatives.. Good food.. They have a great terrace with excellent views.. But it's open on Saturdays and Sundays only.. If you wish to arrange a terrace party on days other than weekends u can talk to the Manager

Worst place.. worst service....<br/>Total mess.. from ground floor to rooftop .. service is worst ..I repeat worst... You have to wait for long time for the waiters to take your order.. you will not be provided the menu unless you ask for it..<br/>

Not at all recommended for non veg food. Chinese dishes were good. In starter I ordered Chicken tikka and veg spring roll. I never tasted such horrible tikka ever in my life. It was like tasteless rubber and when complained the waiter educated me saying पनीर सॉफ्ट होता है चिकेन तो थोड़ा हार्ड ही होता है. Then in main course I ordered Kadhai Chicken, mixed veg chowmein and chilli paneer gravy. Again the chicken dish was just ok. The dishes are overly charged. Infact they charged 30 for water bottle and 30/bottle for 200ml cold drink.

Recently Few Days Back I visited Zaika Family Restaurant For Another Time.This Place Has Very Cool Interiors & It Can Accommodate Upto 30-40 People at a time This Place has Also a Small Hall Which Can Accommodate 50-60 People For Birthdays & Anniversary Celebration & Also The roof top place is quite nice it's the perfect location for lunch & dinner. There is Open Place Where You Can Have Fun With your dear ones on roof top.<br/>I tried the Soups , Murg Makhani ,Fish Afghani, Baby Chilly Corn All were Good in taste & My Personal Favourite Was Murg Makhani & Afghani Fish From There Menu. They have a Neat & Clean Ambience & Very Great Service. Everything was on point the waiters were humble & polite & they get your orders on time. Zaika Team Also Asked for the review & they listen them very carefully. Hope to See All Positive Changes in Future Visits

Everytime we visit this pathetic restaurant (especially in terms of food taste) we expect some improvement but to our dismay none whatsoever. We have been going there for years now but the overall quality has declined way more than acceptable. Bad to worse dining experience everytime. We ordered Kadahi Paneer which was tasteless, dal was too little in quantity, naan was rubbery and tasted weird and fried rice was the worst taste of my life so far. Only thing that tasted alright was tandoori roti so 1 star just for it. The service was better than last time but still we waited for more than half an hour to get some water on our table. Tap water isn't available, you can either have cold water or else buy bisleri so we bought one. When we were shifted to a bigger table noone even bothered to put adequate no. of glasses on the table. We ordered another portion of Kadahi paneer which was served rather quickly so thumbs up for that, but the taste was missing the mark again. They are selling just because of their location otherwise there is no point visiting this place anymore. The menu isn't pocket friendly at all, I don't expect a piece of naan to be 50/-. This was our last visit, never ever visiting again.

Food was nice but service is too slow. Even there was only a couple sitting next to us and rest of the place were empty. We had fried rice and Chilli Paneer. Quantity was good enough for two but Zaika is bit expensive if you go solo or duo. Staff is good but they have some weird rules that two people can't sit on a sofa lying outside or a table of six. Which I found unusual. Anyway it's a nice place to chill out with friends. We also had one Chinese platter the amount of food was enough for two and the platter was at reasonable price. Ambience was nice peaceful except that odd smell of cigrate hovered over the lounge area.

A regular there. The prices are really affordable.<br/>The ambience is really very average but acceptable for the cheap prices they offer. The staff is nice and pay heed to your food instructions. Being a non veg lover and from the national capital, I heard from my friends that the non veg here has all the right aroma taking you back to the Dilli lanes.<br/>I ordered mutton delicacies i.e. Bhuna Gosht, Tawa Gosht for the mains and Tangdi Kebab for starters. The succulent pieces of mutton just disappeared from my mouth in no time. But you have to wait sometimes for the dishes to come. Must visit!

Very big restaurant with multi floors. But pathetic food. Service is worst.<br/><br/>Not a single reason to suggest to visit this place except the top floor which has some good decorative lights with water fountain.<br/><br/>The top floor is in open so you will have to bear mosquitoes till you finish your dinner or lunch.<br/><br/>Order once placed will take atleast one hour to serve you. So get prepared for it.<br/><br/>

Tried panner masala tikka and aachari panner at zaika....a place with pleasant atmosphere and with friendly staff as well.....had to wait for a long time for our order but was quite impressed with the food and the people.....it is a pocket friendly restaurant.....

Bad service, I ordered mutton , and after 30mins of waiting staff said its unavailable, then I ordered chicken and curd , chicken was hard difficult to chew , And curd was terribly bitter . Total Bill was 600/ which I believe complete wastage of money ,

Pathetic restaurant and pathetic service. Nothing is good in this restaurant. From menu to food everything is crap.<br/>Everything in Chinese and maincourse tasted same.<br/>Manchurian and crispy babycorn had same taste and way too salty.<br/>In main course kadhai paneer and nix veg gravy had same taste. Naan was like rubber.<br/>They had nothing for kids to drink in their restaurant and they call it a family restaurant. From juices to shakes there was nothing available.<br/>So I asked them for a glass of milk for my little one and they charged ₹80 for merely 150 ml of milk.<br/><br/>This restaurant is highly not recommended by me.

Our seniors treated us here when I first came to know 'bout this place, food was good and our experience was great even after waiting a good amount of time. <br/><br/>Since then, visited this place more than once and our experience was never bad, good food, good ambience, we even danced on the top floor and the stuff danced with us (10 mins before closing hours tho ). They have hookah and dining on the top floor with dim red lighting and family diner on the ground.

Polite staff, prompt service. Food tasted good too. Have two or more seating areas, that is decorated differently. Lighting is dim but not dark. Seating is comfortable. Has a television which is always on, so you won't get bored while waiting for someone. Decor is pretty. Has a large fish tank. Really really pretty place. Clean restroom as well. Wish they didn't serve water with random bottles and had a specific bottle style or jugs to serve, but that is just me nitpicking. Recommend this place. Will go back again.

Usual go to place since college days<br/><br/>Zaika was the fanciest place that fitted our budget all those many years ago when i was a student of BHU. Not to mention special 10% discount we got on our college id. Visited again after 5 years when I went to varanasi. The place has upscaled itself. Has a swanky bar now, but alas, max they serve is lemonade and coke. WIsh they add drinks to the menu. The quality  and value of the food remains unchanged. Loved the experience yet again but more because of nostalgia rather than anything else. The place is clean, hygienic and the food is good and worth the bucks.

The non-veg is really good. However, we went twice for the sizzling brownie and could not get it as it wasn't available then. The food and menu all is very delicious but a lot of improvement is needed in the service. The waiters keep pushing you to order and taking the plates as soon as you finish ur food is not a good sign.

An only place where I can eat Chicken Biryani and chicken lollypop to its best in Varanasi. <br/>A non-vegetarians paradise but it lacks that magical touch in Vegetarian stuff. For non-veggies is would be a place where you would like to come again and again.

Again three stars for the food their. Preety good place for non veg lovers. I wonder the service to be as nice as their food. Either they cant cook food on time or the waiters are lazy to bring the food. Ambience is also okay, can visit with family if you are only for food. Parcel is recommended .

The only saving grace here is their ambience other than that staff is not really nice to you, service is pathetic, food is below average. Once i used love aloo dum banarasi here but their quality has declined very much !!

Pretty good.....at eveything...ambience, hospitality, food.....a nice place to be with your gang....the paneer butter masala is a must try!!

I have given this 3.0 stars. Last time I have visited here and everything was good especially Chicken Chilli was awesome. But yesterday when I visited 2nd time with my Uncle's family that was pathetic experience. One service man came after an hour of waiting. Management is really bad. Biriyani was bad. They can't even serve water on time. Though Only for recent service and Chicken Chilli I have given 3 stars.
