Had crab for the first time here, loved it!
Ordered pork chilli fry and beef chilli fry and was happy to note both the preparations were different catering to each meat. Also really liked the beef Xacuti.
Service here is quick and friendly with the server keen on knowing what you need.
Generous portions, excellent fish (i tried 3 types) and very chilled out vibe. The speakers were playing carols softly and the waiters were easy and friendly. Generally the people who came here too were well behaved and not loud and obnoxious. The view from the roadside tables is of the part of the bay where a few old ships have been run aground - very unfussy and organic in where it's located. I loved my meal and time there.
This is a heritage restaurant, well kept and food here is served with love. The sea food is the best here in South Goa , we tried the fish thaali, the king fish which is the fish without a bone and cocktails , the fish curry was the best we had so far in Goa so 10/10 for that, veg was also both tasty and yummy
Stayed there for a short while only: asked if they had coffee but it wasn’t on their menu. So we had lemon ice tea. Took little longer to prepare bcz they were decorating it so nicely. It was worth the wait: the taste was fine, the ambience of the place is cozy and pleasant. Lot of plants and the soothing music enhances the positive vibes of this place.
We arrived right at closing time, 3:45pm and requested them to give us a take out order.
We had the prawn curry, stuffed squid, prawns kismur. They were all delicious, very authentic. We had both the boiled rice and basmati rice. The boiled rice is more traditional with Goan curries but the texture and flavour is very different from basmati rice, which is eaten more around India.
The food was prepared quickly and well packed. While we waited we enjoyed the cashew urrak with Limca, served with Salk, lime and a green chilli.
This is hotel’s food taste very good & they have many varieties in sea foods. They were really sumptuous one . Especially Crab 🦀 & fish 🐠 varieties 🫶🏻
I had an amazing experience at Sheela Cafe, a true gem since 1965! The Dal Fry and Fulki Roti were incredibly authentic; their taste is unmatched. The ambiance is perfect for relaxing with friends and family. A must-visit for a fantastic dining experience!
Near Goa’s Dabolim airport on way to Panjim is Sheela, a place very popular with tourists interested in Seafood and other Goan cuisine.
Try their wide variety of fish & crabs. You may also try their sarpotel and thick rice; a tangy spicy combination.
Though priced slightly on the higher side, it’s still worth visiting.
This is very good restaurant, food was very good, staff was polite, road touch, ambiance was good, 10-15 minutes before airport. Prices also reasonable, compared to other places in goa.
Goan veg coconut sorak was very tasty with boiled rice, must try dish, highly recommended to vegetarian people.
The location is so scenic and peaceful. It's the right kind of ambience one would expect in a vacation destination like Goa. The food; especially the marine treasure is exceptional & fresh even in the monsoon months. A must must visit for a truly tranquil experience.
