Review Hundreds Heritage - Vellore

A perfect place to hang out with your family for lunch and dinner. This restaurant is from a renovated old bungalow. The ambience is so calm and family friendly. If you need to try good foreign food especially continental and East Asian, then this place is a must visit. Ample parking facility for two wheelers and four wheelers. Beautiful small lawn on the outside. Security is available. The service staff greet you when you enter and they are polite and responsive. The price is moderate. Food taste and quality is one of the best in the entire city. Clean and hygienic washrooms. Kid seats are available. Gather here for an office get together or a small bday party lunch.

During my visit to the distinguished Hundred Heritage Hotel in Vellore, I was fortunate enough to experience a culinary journey featuring their renowned Khunafa Prawn and Irani Kebab. The presentation of the Khunafa Prawn left a lasting impression. The outer layer of these delectable shrimps exuded a delightful crispiness, creating a satisfying contrast with the succulent interior. What truly set this dish apart was the impeccable balance of flavors and seasonings, which culminated in a delightful taste sensation. The Khunafa Prawn found their perfect companion in a Szechuan sauce, creating a harmonious and memorable pairing. On the other hand, the Iranian Kebab, while enjoyable, fell just short of meeting the high expectations I had. It was good but lacked that extra something to make it truly exceptional. Lastly, the mango flan offered a pleasing taste experience, although there was room for improvement. The potential for this dessert to become even more delightful with some refinement was evident. The sweet corn soup was excessively thick, resembling pudding. It requires improvement in consistency. Overall, my visit to the Hundred Heritage Hotel was a culinary adventure filled with highs and minor lows, showcasing their dedication to crafting memorable dishes, with some areas offering the promise of further enhancement.

A wonderful place to experience fine dining at its best. Ambience is top notch. Staff are prompt and polite. They have and extensive menu with wide range of dishes. Tried the cream of chicken soup, prawn kunafa, mutton Biryani, mango flan and matka phirni. The prawn kunafa was definitely the standout dish. An absolute must try!! The cream of chicken soup and mutton Biryani was decent as well in terms of flavour and richness. Wasn't particularly wowed by their desserts. Will surely be back to try more.

A very well crafted experience. This place serves some of the most unique and delicious dishes I have tried. The drinks were especially surprising. The environment is extremely personal and hearty. The service is fantastic with a wide range of dishes to choose from ranging from Indian to Chinese. Having won multiple awards for their stellar take on traditional cuisine, the Iron Chef deserves their place on the top.

The ambiance of this place is great and so is the food. There's an amazing array of options for both veg and nonveg folks. Drinks are refreshing, food I feel is but overpriced according to the way it tastes but overall it's good.

Hundreds Heritage stands as a shining star, representing the epitome of exceptional dining. This restaurant, renowned for its diverse range of cuisines, boasts an ambiance that not only enhances the dining experience but also pays homage to our rich heritage. With standout dishes like the Thalassery Mutton Biryani, ample parking, and a team of friendly and attentive staff, it’s no wonder this establishment has earned its place among the best in the city. The undisputed star of the show at Hundreds Heritage is the Thalassery Mutton Biryani. A fragrant masterpiece, it transports diners on a culinary journey to Thalassery, Kerala. The succulent mutton, perfectly cooked rice, and an exquisite blend of spices combine to create a symphony of flavors that linger on the palate long after the meal has ended. This dish is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to offering the finest and most authentic culinary experiences. The convenience of spacious parking cannot be overstated in a city like Vellore, where parking can often be a challenge. At Hundreds Heritage, patrons can leave their parking worries behind, making the entire dining experience hassle-free. What truly elevates the experience at Hundreds Heritage is the welcoming and attentive staff. The team goes above and beyond to ensure that diners have a memorable visit. It’s a place where you can savor exquisite dishes amidst a setting that resonates with history and culture, making every visit a journey through time. The Thalassery Mutton Biryani alone is reason enough to visit, but when combined with the spacious parking and the warm, attentive staff, it becomes an unbeatable dining destination. The restaurant’s commitment to preserving our heritage is evident in every detail, making it a must-visit for those seeking a taste of exceptional cuisine.

The perfect place for a family dine out. If you are planning for a family dine out then "Hundred Heritage" is the place for you. We had a dinner, all the dishes served are taste awesome and the presentation of food is eye catchy. I would like to suggest some of the dishes I liked the most. 1. Cajun Grilled Fish 2. Dhuandhar Murgh 3. Crispy Lotus Stem 4. Beef steak with pepper sauce These are the must try dishes here. I would like to thank the service staff Mr. Kabali, his service is really good. The way he explained the dishes makes us mouthwatering. He is the superstar of HH.

The starters came in quick but the main course came in super late. However the taste was decent. The meter kabab was yummy. 10 of us went in for dinner and 1 meter kabab was good enough for all of us. Chilli beef and teriaki beef was super tasty. Service was okayish. The ambience was decent. Overall a decent place to be at for a family dinner.

This was my visit to Vellore and I didn't expect any fancy restaurants to be honest... I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this place which truly serves one of the best food in Vellore... The ambience simply welcoming... It's a house which has been converted to a family restaurant... Everything from the seating arrangement to the lighting and decor is top notch... The staff is very courteous and is really helpful while selecting dishes...

Coming to the food,we ordered Chicken hot N Sour Soup, Galauti Kabab, Burnt Garlic Chicken, Crispy American Corn, Chur Chur Roti, Mix Raita, Ghee Rice, Kadhai Veg, Chicken Fried Rice, Chilly Chicken and Paneer Espetada... For drinks, we had ordered lemon mint cooler, Kiwi Pineapple cooler and Pina Colada... The food arrived in no time... The hits for me were definitely Paneer Espetada, Burnt Garlic Chicken, Ghee rice, Chicken Fried Rice and Chilly Chicken... Paneer Espetada was simply brilliant... The cheesy sauce simply magnified the already good espetadas... Loved it... I wish there could have been more paneer pieces... Burnt Garlic chicken was really nice... It was perfectly done with a hint of garlic flavor which was really nice... The sauces weren't overpowering... Ghee rice was really top notch... The sweetness of rice due to cashewnuts perfectly matched the ghee flavor of the rice... Simply loved it's flavors with Mix Raita... Chilli chicken was also really nice and was a perfect complement to chicken fried rice... Simply devoured that combo...

Coming to the misses of the platter, they were certainly Galauti kabab and Kadhai Veg... Galauti kabab had the perfect texture but was cold which really surprised us since the other items were piping hot... The accompanying baby naans were warm as if they were microwaved... They were dry and rubbery which I hated... The naans had too much of saffron which again brought down the flavors of the kabab... In one word, it was "terrible"... Next was Kadhai Veg, it was nice but felt a tad bit overspiced to me... The dominant flavor of garam masala was taking away the natural flavors of the gravy and other veggies... Didn't like that much...

Even though there were 2 average items, yet overall experience was really good... I would love to visit this place again when I come to Vellore next... Would definitely recommend this place to ppl who are looking for a fine dining option in this lovely town...

I guess I have this thing for houses' being turned into restaurants. Gives a warm feeling no matter how bad they're in terms of service.

Venue - This one is very close to the Vellore PVR and like most fine dining places in the town, this one has brilliant interior too. Parking is bit of a problem, as you'll have to park in the streets and there's 'No Parking' sign next to the resto.

Food - average, there's nothing substantial interms of the starters or the main course that we ordered. Pricing is exactly par with the Metros, no brownie points there too.

May be, we'd try continental the next time and might see something that works for us.

Dessert, the sampler that we ordered was fab. Gulab, Coffee, Shahi Thukda, Caramel and Chocolate based dessert were filled into the chai cups. Woah, it was just spot on.

Service - who cares attitude, never been a fan of service in this town. Probably because the town runs through the college crowd and they don't find service to be a factor.

#HundredsHeritage #VelloreRestos #VelloreCafes #PaneerTikka #TandooriMurgh #ChickenBiriyani #MushroomBiriyani #BiriyaniThali #DessertSampler

Hundreds heritage has their new menu introduced making us indulge in the not so witnessed menu in vellore. From the cheesy soup garlic bread bowl to the dessert set, everything is interesting! Soup: #Tomato and Basil soup : Thick and creamy and super delicious tomato flavoured and a less of the basil flavoured soup. 5/5💥 #Cheesy mushroom soup : This one comes in a bread bowl with super thick mushroom soup topped with cheese that gives us cheese pull when the garlic bread is dipped in.5/5💥 Starters #crispy corn : This is corn crisply fried and added spices. Dont hope for this to bee sweet, this is #spicy and not #hotandspicy. 4/5💥 #the badam and malai kebab: this one is a mix of paneer and curd coated with grated badam. This is too soft and a bit bland. If you love curd, yu might def love this! 3/5💥 #the paneer espetada : This one is new, eye appealing, impressive at the first look and bite. The panneer comes in a stick hanging which leads you to the deliciously cooked rice and sauteed veggies, this dish is served with cheddar cheese sauce and this one is damnnnn!😍😋 You must definitely order this on the next visit. Order chicken if you are a non veggie. There are lot more starters to indulge into. Moving onto desserts, they have this cute and creative way of serving the desserts in tea glasses in a glass holder for the first time in Vellore. It is a set of six desserts covering the desi and modern desserts: chocolate cake, bourbon, strawberry, mango, shahi thukda, badam phirni.😋 Shahi thukda and the chocolade cake glasses were to be mentioned of, and the best of the set.😋 Must have them all on your next visit. Happy eating💥

Since #Zomato refers to it as a fine dining restaurant, let me start from the time we reached the restaurant.

1. There's no valet parking. There will only be a half sleepy security guard with a half opened main gate and a half hearted attitude to welcome guests. Despite a compound, one is required to park their vehicle on the road.

2. Once you enter the restaurant there's no usher or escort to guide you to a table. Instead you'll find impatient, arrogant and uncooperative staff who'd get agitated if you don't sit at the place they want you to sit. They are in so much of a rush that they don't even have the courtesy of not interrupting when people are having a conversation and continuously pester you for something or the other. While the menu is as elaborate as a Ph.D thesis, but most of the items are not available. You're completely at the waiter's mercy to eat what they want you to eat than what you feel like eating. Even when you've just started eating starters they'll immediately start bothering you with continuously bothering you to place the main course. A little more liberty and they might just end up thrusting the food down your throat.

After being exhausted of being denied or declined for the food of your choice, asking the waiters to recommend something would be a bigger mistake. Firstly they are unable to explain any dish properly and the dish that arrives is something altogether different. Even the simplest starter like Masala Papad has a Papad drenched in oil and topped with peanuts. I even doubt of they've added any Masala to it. Another recommendation in the starter was Tandoori Creamy Mix Veg. Turns out to be bland, soggy vegetables which again seemed like something that was unsold and the kitchen gave specific instructions to the waiters to sell only that.

For main course, a "little" spicy Lahori Paneer Curry turned out to turbo cylinder firing up in all pistons. The Dal makhani too was loaded with chilly powder. To calm things down we order a Mint Cooler and it turned out to be overly sweet. The waiters were even rushing to clear your dishes even while you're eating.

And yes, it all happened in the same visit of 1 hr 15 mins that's still having its after effects after a couple of hours post dinner and a fear of the consequences for the next day. I certainly wouldn't go there again where I get fined for dining instead of fine dining.
My recent visit at Hundreds Heritage was truly an amazing experience. The ambiance got me hooked, the neat and vibrant decor is eye catching for sure The staffs are very friendly and attentive. Worst Experience Ever.
No proper place for Parking your vehicle.
You have to park your vehicle on road.
Bad food quality.
Good ambience
But not value for money at all.
Rude and non cooperative management

Alternatives :
ITC Fortune and Earthplate

Been here for dinner, enjoyed the fantastic food with great service, the ambience was super good!
A definite visit with family kind of place.

Used to be one of the few Fine dining options here. Now it's just fine and dining option. The menu has shrunk, the taste of the food has reduced and service is just acceptable. There is still hope however. In our last visit, 4 out of 6 orders were pretty good. The veg clear soup and hot&sour veg was yumm, fish and chips, Mutton khebab were well done. The paneer veg dish was so awful and spoiled the evening. My grilled fish main course was another disappointment, the fish wasn't fresh and the plating of the dish was yawn inducing. Really hoping for a better experience during our next visit.

Good service.. Good ambience... Well abt the food..The veg clear soup, mutton tikka and fish & chips tasted so good.. But the paneer side dish and the mushroom creamed rice(continental) which tasted like a north indian dish wasn't up to the mark.. Good parking space available inside but cars are supposed to be parked outside and two wheelers are allowed to be parked inside.. There is a waiting area (open) which is much appreciated as the swiggy and zomato guys use them whike waiting for the food.. Well lit place especially in the evenings... Would go there again..
Shubham Saharan
Hundreds heritage provides you with good ambiance but it’s overpriced and the food quality is passable with an exception of its spanish tomato soup and few other starters.
Karan Magnani
The dining experience is one of the most beautiful here because of its vintage styled interiors in the restaurant with an authentic taste in the North Indian, Chinese and Mexican dishes. Though in a revised menu the Mexican and Italian dishes have been almost reduced. The servicing staff could be better. Rest all is just up to the mark as it should be.
Daniel Aloysius Raymond
I’m moving my previous 1 star rating to 5 star rating ,your service quality has increased leaps.. I would have cut a star for a smaller vegetarian menu, but it improvement in service gave the added the bonus...

Keep it up...
Akarsh Munshi
Although the place promises a fine dining experience, it doesn't deliver that. The ambience was good, however the service wasn't up to the mark. Salt was missing from few of the dishes and there was a mild miscommunication while ordering as we didn't get out beverages. Although a decent place to have food but don't expect much
Swastik Panja
Have gone there thrice, the latest being yesterday. They serve indian, oriental as well as continental food items.
The food is quite good. The Galawati Kebab is a must try. The Prawn and Chicken Oriental starters are good too. But the dishes that stole my heart are the Non-veg Lasagna and Herb & Cheese Stuffed Chicken. They were a tad too delish.
Would love to visit it again.

One of my favorite place in Vellore, especially for continental food.
#Cream of mushroom and chicken soup: I always have this creamy soup with soft dice of Chicken and mushrooms.
Starting from crispy starters ( prawns, chicken and lamb) to main course ( fried rice and chilli prawns and chilli chicken) and chicken salad were filling and satiating! Will love to visit this place again and again.

Hundreds heritage has become more of a brand nowadays in Vellore. I've heard of their gym and restaurant. We tried their restaurant on a detour on our way back from Yelagiri to Chennai. It was a rainy night, so fine dining seemed apt.

Our orders: Hot and sour chicken and veg soups, Cheese balls, Crispy lamb, Mutton gravy, Plain naan, Stuffed paneer (don't remember the exact name), and Chicken fried rice. Normally we get soup in separate small bowls, but this is the first time I saw soup brought in a big bowl and served in plates with a deep base. Overall, taste was good as expected. Quantity of each main dish was good for 2 people.

They paid a lot of attention to ambience. Walls have 3D paints I guess, which make it look contemporary. Areas are well lit with hanging lamps. Service was splendid, food was served very quick. I'm not sure how the folks of Vellore feel about it, but being from Chennai I felt that the cost was reasonable. Totally 6 of us ate for 2100 INR. I would definitely visit this place on my next trip to Vellore!

Irresponsible service, found ceramic piece in fried rice and the owner of the restaurant is telling us it will not harm. When we asked him questions he insulted us and asked us to leave the restaurant else they will call roudies push us out....
Markeee317
Better check ur plates.. U may find a sharp piece of glass

We went to hundred heritage as usual and having food. One of our friend found a ceramic piece in the fried rice which is sharp enough to cut your intestine. We reported the same to the waiter and asked him to bring the manager so that they can apologise and convince us that it will never happen.. Not only with us.. But it should never happen to everyone.

But to our surprise, the owner came and arguing us in a rude tone that it is not a ceramic but a plastic piece. Anyway it's not a edible item which we are paying them for. And the arguments went
Little over and the owner told us to get out... Not just one time but so many times. What an arrogance.

They think that they have earned so much fame and money and it will not impact them by throwing out few bunch of people if we complain their food is not safe to have. They can take money and positive reviews but not complain it seems.

I won't ask people to stop going there.
If you go Heritage, check your plates and the most check your children's plate.
Sudhakar Lakshman
Very good ambience and food.little congested in the reception area.
Service staff simple awesome.
Food presentation should have been better for the price we pay.

Been here last week, one of the few good joints for food here...staff is a little snobbish as they want you to order before you even sit at the table,we were a group of 15 and the servers were not very courteous, although the ambiance and the food is the opposite! If you want to try good food and coolers this is the place, everything else is average!
Aditya Sood
This place serves the best food.Be that North Indian or Continental. People who crave for North Indian food, you must visit this place. Worth every penny.

Nice place near VIT where you can treat your friends. Prices are fine only. Taste is good. Soups there is amazing and will fill your stomach. Indian food is also good. Noodles is also amazing. Cheese naan and garlic naan is tasty and also they have this masala coke named rampuri. Drinks are also tasty there. The area in front of heritage is good for clicking nice pictures.
