Review Food Republic - Vijayawada

My friends and I decided to check out The Food Republic around 11:45 am. Initially, we were asked to wait a bit because not all items were ready, but we didn't mind as we had time to spare. After a short wait, the waiter took our order. We ordered a variety of starters, including the drunken cigar rolls, dynamite chicken, and dragon paneer. The drunken cigar rolls, which are essentially spring rolls, were decent but not outstanding, although my friends seemed to enjoy them. However, the dynamite chicken, a chicken pakoda tossed in a mayo-like sauce, stood out and left a positive impression on me. The dragon paneer, a spicy chili paneer dish, was also quite delightful, with a crispy and spicy kick. Eating these three starters filled us up, and it's worth noting that the total bill came to 1200 rupees. The ambience was good, and while the service was okayish, it didn't overshadow the overall positive lunch experience we had. The Food Republic seems to offer some tasty treats, particularly the dynamite chicken and dragon paneer. It's a decent place to enjoy a meal with friends.

This Restaurant has its own style providing privacy for each & every group having pleasent atmosphere with TV & beautiful paintings in each & every privacy rooms...Had Sparkling chicken & crispy prawns as starter & Potlam Biryani as main course...All items are delicious 😋

Went with Family, Food Taste is good, Worth the price for its Quantity & Taste. We tried Chicken Hot & Sour Soup - Good Dragon Paneer - Must Try Crispy Hot Chicken - Must Try Chilli Gralici Fish - okay Chicken Tikka Biryani - Good Egg Fried Rice - Good Potlam Biryani - Better to Skip

They have good varities of food here taste is good limited seats are available for ambience theme and the remaining rooms are very normal

Food is good and affordable, but the atmosphere to sit is not so good Having table is below the seating table , where we need to bed our body near to knees to have food, that make inconvenience to have food

An heaven for people who love spicy food. The ambience is apt for groups. The planning is perfect for party hangouts. You will love the taste of all varieties. There is no proper parking facility, you have to struggle to find a parking spot nearby. Reservation is a must if you are visiting in peak hours

3 years ago, when I was staying in Vijayawada, this place stood among my go to restaurants with its decent ambience and good taste. Potlam biryani, prawns biryani, and appetisers were must try dishes. Hope the standards are still same…

After a long time...had a outside dinner and chosen one of the best in Vijayawada. Got the space for car parking. It's a cabin style seating restaurant and i found this one the best..good cozy place...best for family...ordered manchow soup, dragon cigar roll, naan, pulka, tandoori roti,, masala kulcha, paneer chatpat...taste was awesome...i would say awestruck experience...enjoyed a lot..u can take as much pictures as much u want..fully satisfied..will definitely go again..we were three and a kid...bill was on 1115.

Must try Dragon panner, chill garlic noodles, masala kulcha and tres leches. tres leches tastes out of the universe, it is a cake with different types of milks, looks simple but feels out of box

Dine was delicious, we had a good time and staff were good at serving food. Ambience and food taste was same whenevr i visit here, very responsive and serving hot and in time food delivered, located within the city and very nearer to MG ROAD vijayawada. Selective restaurant in the city.

Food republic... The taste of food is good here.. Yeah ... Biryani is also tastes good and better than many restraints... But rice is same for all biryanis... But taste wise it's cool... Ambience is also cool... You can see that they are using each and every item which we saw in our childhood days... But why 4star ? You must check the bill before giving to customers .. We are 3 and ordered 3 biryanis.. We are in a hurry and we paid the bill After leaving later we saw the bill and there is dum biryani extra. We must have checked but you should double check before giving... 400rs waste right ?

This place is one of my favourite restaurants in vijayawada. Food and Ambience both go hand in hand. Separate blocks are also available to have the private dine. I just can't describe only one food item as good, everything is best on its own. I have had - Beer Batter prawns TANDOORI biryani Prawns Biryani Kebabs Manchow soup Lemon prawns

Horrible food, tasteless and inedible.. got sick after eating it.. ordered crispy corn and mushrooms.. felt very stale..had a bite n had to throw it away.. don't order from here unless u wish to get sick..

After lockdown I visited this place with my friends for lunch. Before reaching I called the restaurant to check outdoor seating and they said available. The moment I reached they said outdoor is not permitted and only ground floor 3 cabins were accessible. 2 cabins were occupied wit family and 1 cabin AC was not working and no fan and the other cabin was having 3 tables. Limited group were allowed and we were 4. After placing order I noticed the waiter was not sanitising the table when the customer left. When our food reached the table the waiter did not serve and asked to serve ourselves. Only chicken items were available and no mutton or seafood. We ordered 4 biryani - dum , fry , tangdi and spl biryani. The quantity was less and the taste was okay. I think they changed the chef coz during my last visit everything was awesome. They don't have desserts or ice-cream and limited items were available from the menu. We really didn't had a great dining after so long of lockdown but was okay. Sanitizer / handwash to be provided while washing hands which is missing. First floor to be allowed so tat it would be safe for people like me who don't prefer closed cabins.<br/><br/>

Good place to hangout with friends. Especially in the evening the place lights up.

Food republic is one off the rustic hangout place in the city, the ambiance is like olden hut with modernist food menu, especially evening times have to visit for good view with fantastic food, they serves India/ Italian/ Chinese dishes. This is a cosy place with limited seating. We ordered 2 non veg starters, roti, curry and biryani. All taste good but quantity is abit less. Potlam biryani is their special dish. Prices are moderate

They charge extra for mayo, lol.

“Food Republic” is as Republican as India; I would say it as one of the best place for your taste buds.<br/>The concept of private n public space has made it special.<br/>Normally, food business runs on Mouth words; and Vijayawada people are foodies and it can never go wrong. Hence proved with this restaurant performance 🤤😋<br/><br/>Coming to the Food...<br/>1. ”Italian Chicken”, dish name was sounding different it made us try it; and is definitely a must try. It’s awesome tasty dish.<br/>2. “Chicken Kulfi” is interesting small plate item.<br/>3. For soup lovers, “Hot n Sour” is worth having.<br/>4. For Kebab lovers, it’s interesting and tasty to have “Kulhar Ki Tangidi” dish. A similar concept of Lollipop.<br/>5. Very few times, I tried Mixed Biryani....The similar item here I somewhat liked is “Potlam Biryani”. The quantity is good enough for a single solid food batsman else two people can eat if U order any starter. I ordered special chicken biryani,the chicken gravy has poured on the rice without packing it seperate so the rice became oily ,price is too high but quantity & quality is worst.

I consider Food republic as one of the best in Vijayawada. I love the Egg Biryani. I have became a fan of Egg Biryani in Food Republic. The taste is very unique. My kids love Italian Chicken. Most of the other items are also quite good. I have recommended it to most of my friends and all those who visited gave a very good feedback. Glad to have such a different restaurant in Vijayawada. Was bored with the same kind of food in most of the restaurants. Food Republic has raised the bar.

quality of food is very good but the quantity is less when compared to earlier  i have ordered a paneer curry today but i got a small quantity than before

Decent food and range. Good service by staff, but lacks comfort. North indian cuisine a must have, quality of paneer is actually remarkable.

One of the best paneers ever tasted. The ambience is captivating with new themes.<br/>Malai kofta is one of my favorites. All the paneer items are scrumptious and savoury.

Tried this item here.<br/><br/>Chocolate Bomb - 3.5/5 stars (This was served with Vanilla ice cream. It would have been much more better if the bomb was more hot.)

Nice place with a different ambience. I visited multiple times and most of the times I ordered Paneer Lababdar with rotis. The taste of the curry every time I visited and I did not like the variance though the taste is good.

Food republic is one of the unique restaurants in Vijayawada.The food in here is so delicious.<br/>Potlam biryani is a must try.Fried ice cream which isn't available anywhere is available here and is scrumptious.This place is slightly in the higher side but definitely worth a try.The ambience is different and everything you see are mostly recycled.I like the concept though

We love the concept of the over all outlet, vibes of this place is pretty amazing, this place has a very unique charm which curates us to fall in love with the outlet concept, service staff were very frindely, attentive, food is very good with the trendy presentations, interiors were pretty well done, I would reccomend this place for those who are desperately looking for a trendz.

I ate an Oreo Cheesecake and I absolutely struggled to eat. I've carefully choosen it after speaking to the staff about the desserts and was recommended this. This cheesecake wasn't even soft. Utter waste.

Extremely slow service. The food was decent enough and the ambience was different but the time it takes for them to get your order is just too long. We ordered egg chilly, veg manchuria, paneer butter masala and roti. The egg chilly and paneer were good but the roti completely dry and Manchurian not so good. A little on the expensive side!

Loved their food. Service also nice. Had hakka noodles. Taste was so good. I like their container hall. But there is no parking lot available. You have to park your car on the road side. Best place for parties.

Awesome food... Veg biryani and burnt garlic fried rice are too good. Price range is a bit high. If that can be adjusted, that'll attract more customers.

Good food n good ambience with harsh behaviour of staff.. Can't able to put on AC also may b from administration side.. Customers are forced by the staff where to sit n have dinner even wen whole restaurant is empty.. If you refuse to sit dey start speaking harsh n dey allows customers to step out from restaurant also.. Place with good food n bad experience for me.

if you are looking for A hangout place with good ambience and board games, this can be one option. They have lot of options for people like me , who love spicy food . The cutlery is quirky, must say that it is one of its kind in town. Been here 3-4 times, and the food quality is well maintained. If you want to have a good hang out place with good quality food, this can be one option. Special mention to the geometry box bill which has orange candies, it made me feel nostalgic. I would give it only 4 star because I felt that the menu is a bit over priced.

They made it up with some awesome interiors and good variety of food menu. Comparatively overpriced so cannot visit them frequently. You won't be disappointed for sure give it a shot

overhyped place. just ambience is good not the food. this evng we visited this place after reading so many positive reviews but no luck utterly disappointed with the food taste. ordered potlam biryani. it was tasteless only spicey. service is good not food.Potlam biryani is just a name the real taste or flavour of biryani was missing .such a bad experience .

Worst service ever, after having my main course, I ordered 2 chocolate bombs. The waiter noted down the order, and we waited for 20 mins. After that we got to know he forgot about the order, we re ordered again and waited again for 20 mins but we did not get it. We had to cancel the order finally.<br/>Best Part: Bill came in 30 seconds 👌👌👌

A cool atmosphere with lively ambience.such a unique place in vijaywada.staffs behavior was great.we ordered some Chinese dish which tasted good.but the most annoying thing was they serve the dessert after 45 minutes of main course. One star less for too much time taking.

Ordered thai red curry but received some soup with few vegetables simmered in it. The restaurant people should have rejected the order if the particular item is not available. Instead they tried in vain and messed up the dish. Ruined our dinner.

But want delivery and evething else is superb and sooo tasty plzzzz make sure that u will have a delivery service it’s a kind request of everyone

Just an overrated place with extreme prices. Also the place wasn’t really clean and hygienic. It wasn’t a pleasant experience when I’ve been the first time. Not really great food and it actually sucked, they’re just trying to put a whole lot of items in one menu, didn’t really understand what they were try to sell. Is it Chinese cuisine? Italian? Indian? It’s basically a mixture of all which isn’t good.

Costly restaurant..... good ambience and service..... food is ok.....had potlam biryani which is flavorful and tasty but it's gravy is not appealing.....the chicken kulfi is not that great as well.....

The thing here is they can do continental and they do it great... I think we ordered some kind of a fried rice or sizzler I can't remember exactly but we have broccoli in there....come on! who adds broccoli in India If not for the continental chef in kitchen....by this I can say that their chefs are very experienced and professional !!!<br/>Ambience and eveything is good as well

It’s been a wonderful experience of ambience and yea ofcourse food. These days people are not only concerned about quality of the food but also on the Service and Ambience at that restaurant. So may be lill bit cleanliness outside rooms will be more helpful and good experience for the customers who visits your restaurant..!!! <br/><br/>Cheers for the Ambience and Quality of the Food..!!!
