Review Mekong-pan Asian Restaurant - Visakhapatnam

Must visit if you are looking for an authentic Asian cuisine experience. Do ask your server for recommendation based on your preferences. They will not disappoint you. We had phaaw phi, crab Uramaki, Bao, and Vietnamese Seafood Rice bowl. Everything was delicious. Loved the atmosphere too.

Amazing Asian food. Good service, nice employees. Lots of amazing tasting condiments like prawn chips, kimchi and etc. Ate sushi and Khao pad. Amazing taste and good portion size. Definitely be returning when I get the chance. Try lobster, sushi and bento 🍱

Very good food and ambience… friendly staff and their suggestions are good as well, they also warn about food allergies which is really good. I recommend this place for those who love Asian food especially Chinese and Thai food

It has pretty decent Asian food Pork was exactly the way i like (juicy ) The veggies were tasty Mutton was good Dim sun were umm fine The only issue I felt was with the complementary kimchi it felt like it was dipped in honey whereas kimchi is supposed to be fermented and have savoury taste with umami touch. Rest all was great The ambiance was amazing I really liked the interior with Japanese and chinese touch. All in all it was good experience.

Starters and desserts are delicious. Ambience is good. We had our relatives birthday party and were given 1/3rd of the restaurant table spots.

Very elegant n lavish ambience... The food was good but which one is spot on is difficult to say... Prawn sushi was nice, dumplings were nice... eating noodles with chopsticks 🥢 was fun (was my first time 😅) n the side dishes(dips, chutneys) they could be on either extremes of one's liking... However coconut jaggery icecream was a bang on!!! Have a good day!!!

Nice pan Asian cuisine restaurant. They give prawn chips, veg kimchi, green tea as a complimentary side dish for all the guests. Nice hospitality, nice taste, nice experience over all.. Sushi, Lotus root, jaggery ice cream are best of the menu..

3.5 not a 4 star. The food is above avarage and the service here is definitely good, not the same could be said for the ambiance, ita pretty closed in and not so spacious either. On a overall note it ia a good place to visit over a weekend or brunch with a loved one or as a friend group if you are specifically looking for south east asian or asian food in general. Do give it a go. If you are just looking for any good food and a pleasent atmosphere there are other restaurents that would meet the criteria If you do decide to give it a go, you should try the tempura dishes, Although you would be better off leaving the sushi alone even though it was a costal area the fish did not feel fresh, the wasabi is basically horsh radish with green color.

Its a good experience to taste the Japanese and Korean food recipes... Like the Asian recipes with a Lil bit of our native touch.... Before going here made a background work of knowing the recipies so you can get an idea of what to order... ofcourse you will be suggested by the staff.. but you know what am saying... California sushi they suggested and it's almost like bimbibap and the prawns tempora with sauces they gave is so tasty and udon noodles were also good.. mainly the coconut jaggery icecream 👌👌

Well rarely you find a restaurant such as this. I was sort of doubtful about those South Asian dishes as I had never tried them but boy I really loved it. I would say it is probably the best South Asian Restaurant of India and undoubtedly the best in Vizag. Go for it and thank me later.

The service is very pleasant. Food is worthy for the cost we pay. Best Chinese available in Vizag. Bina is very helpful and thought me how to use chopsticks too 😄

Mekong is one of the few restaurants that serve South East Asian cuisine in Vizag. If you are interested in trying something new, Mekong is the one. It also has bento box and Japanese cuisine too. We tasted lobster and sushi it was good. Their Jasmine tea and prawn crackers was good. It also got Vietnamese and other cuisines too.

Beautiful ambience . Delicious food , lovely variety of Starters, main course and dessert. We had a great experience at this lovely place. Staff is really good and friendly. If you wanna enjoy Japanese delicacies in Vizag , this is the best place , loved the food. Everything was up to mark .

I've ordered bento box 1, taste was good but could be better. Because I've ordered same bento box from Mekong earlier then the taste was awesome I miss that taste now. Any how portion size was also reduced , prices are too high I think price should be reasonable so everyone can try dishes from ur outlet. Prawns tempora was yummy 🤓 sushi is also good. Sauces were also good . But dessert was bit hard . Even food is cold when I received it. Even chopsticks are missing which disappointed me. Overall everything was good but not same as before.
