All varities of veg and non veg snack items like pizzas, rolls, chilly panner, chilly chicken, puffs, cakes.. But prices little high compared to quantity but you can effort as the items are freshly cooked and baked. From past 20 years I have been going there. Lot of oil is there in Chilly panner and not that much hot.

Require more stars for still being the leader in vizag in terms of bakery and milkshakes(Jack frost). Close to 25+years association and Foodex is still the leader and peoples choice. I dont want to waste your time by giving review on products that are available in food ex rather want to acknowledge on the resilence that this entity has shown in all these years with growing competition and new players entering innovatively. But their business model has remained the same all through the years of being simple and accommodative to customers. I would take special mention of Jack Frost(which is crowd favorite among all ages),even though you sip a milkshake with the giants in the world spending so much but if you are from vizag then surely your taste buds will crave for Jackfrost.

Foodex a well known eatery near the HSBC office campus and within the reach of Andhra university. Have self service and generally both credit card and debit cards are accepted as payments. No wheelchair accessible entrance and have to take few steps. Service is good and staff are responsive.

This is one such place for snacking and smoothies and shakes. Both foodex and Jack Frost are of the same owners but located just side by side. I always give a big kudos to the owners as you know why? The quality and quantity in here is the same from my college days. This is a good place where the snacks are maintained so damn hygenic. Fresh, tasty, lively, awesomly represented by the management here. So just go and have some good evening party. Some of the items are all different kinds of Puffs and pizzas, pastries and brownies, smoothies and shakes!

It used to be one of the best places to hang out during my school years back in 2000's. But when I revisited back again right now I felt it has lost its sheen. Most of the food is cold and hard and reheating it in the oven is not going to help that. I feel really sad that such a nostalgic place has been reduced to this. If looking for cakes, pastries, sandwiches and a huge range of veg and non veg titbits, this is the best place to visit. Stuff is freshly prepared and quickly sold out. Parking is no issue but tables are limited. Prices are highly reasonable. The only complaint is that the entrance is infested by some really irritating beggars.

foodex has got many outlets here in Vizag. I have been here uncountable times. This used to be my regular go to place(since 2010) to grab some quick food. You'll get a variety of pastries, cakes, muffins and other savoury items. Do try their ice-creams. Jamaican magic, mellow jelly, chocolate cordial, Swiss chocolate and what not. You can go for the icecream sandwich as well.

Food-ex has many outlets in Vizag and racks up decent bakery stuff and fast food at affordable rates. Have relished the Paneer Temptation pizza and veg sandwich here hich i found good. However,the samosa and reheated which makes them rubbery and loses the crispyness! A vegan person can get a good meal here. The place has quick self-service counter and can order cakes too. Though parking is woe as you have to park on the main road and that becomes an issue on weekends.

Wraps taste is like eating grass, worms in lettuce in the wraps we ordered, and subs no need to explain, that cook needs to be trained more may be from Subway outlet, guys I know u r trying to improve but don't loose your regular customers by trying to keep worst food in our mouth - Vizag will be angry

One of the oldest food joint and bakery in town. During our college times we used to visit this almost everyday and the interiors are the same till date. I would say prices are pocket friendly. They prepare large quantities of starters like paneer tikka , veg manchuria , gobi manchuria , chilli paneer , veg buns , chicken starters and they place in a section where we can take in portions and bill it in counter. Its like a buffet of starters and buns. Few starters are good like paneer tikka and manchuria but buns are not great its just bread with not much of taste. Pizza and burgers are okish. Pastries are good. Its like a luck by chance, when they make batch its tastes good.

My all time favourite place since childhood. The best part about this place is the consistency in the taste of food. There are these "chocolate cake" with no icing, no cream. Just like tea cake, which has been my current favourite. One must try the nutty delight. Garlic bread is okaykish, too much butter! Overall i love this place.

This place gets 2.5stars just for it's food quality. Other than that the staff's behaviour is very rude with their customers. Please note this place still does not accept card as a mode of payment. I mean these days even small vendors have started accepting card as their mode of payment and these people replied me that we do not accept card payment and in future also we dont plan to change. Also these guys require the exact amout of money. I was antonished when they said we don't have ₹20 change. I mean how can you not have ₹20 change when you totally deal in cash. This was the second time when i was trated in such a bad manner. I have been visiting food ex since my childhood but these days their service has become pathetic.

I've been to this place on a Saturday evening and frankly speaking i think this place is overrated. I've had Krispy Chicken sandwich, which is by the way NOT krispy in any way... Duh!! But I have to give it to the taste! Yum!! Chocolate brownie and Ragi pie are average.. Ive askee them to heat my food, but they said, it wont taste good, if they heated it! What!! P.S. You don't get packaged cool drinks here! My recommendations to management - Please prepare sandwiches when ordered than pre packed.

Food Ex is located at Vuda Complex,behind HSBC.I went to Food Ex with my friend for evening snacks. We ordered paneer pie, butter chicken roll and chocolate symphony.Butter chicken roll was great and chocolate symphony was yummy. Ambience was good and this place is pocket friendly.

For as long as I can remember FoodEx has been one of my favourite places in Vizag. I have fond memories of savouring the food here, but that was 10 years back. Lately, the place has seemed to lost its charm. The service has gone down and the outlet doesn't seem too inclined to improve the variety of food they have to offer and their service. 10 years back there was hardly any competition when it cames to options for dining and hence FoodEx was able to hold its own and remain a favourite. The city is now house to many cafes and great dining experiences, so FoodEx will have to step up its game to sustain.

I must admit that I have always liked Foodex for the variety of savouries, snacks and pastries they have on offer. They have become monotonous and the quality too has come down a notch or two which makes me think twice before going there nowadays. The worst part is the service which is not customer centric and has a rather indolent approach . They still open lazily at 11:30 in the morning. Customers can come in through their half open shutter but will not get any service before the stipulated opening time. Survive without AC if you can and not even a glass of water would be offered. You could see the staff playing the fool around and yapping away oblivious to anyone around. Reminds me of the settings in a government office but nowadays even they are changing and these guys need to really pull up their socks if they want to stay in the business in the long run. Till then please go and grab a quick bite or a parcel. That's till the good times last and they sure won't last forever!

Food ex has been Vizag's trustworthy fast food joint from around from 10+ years but that doesn't mean that it can get away from certain criticism. The trend of Food Ex is an exponential increase in prices with dipping quality. The paneer tikka masala which was once my favorite a few years ago has lost all its vigor, burnt, too oily, smelling like cardboard from the package material. The Manchurian is eternally salty and really hard to chew. There definitely has been a decline in quality of Food Ex which is quite disappointing for age old customers. Frankly, I think Food Ex hasn't changed its menu much from at least 5 years. They should wake up, realize they're not the leaders anymore with so many competitive and probably better fast food joints around the city.

For a quick snack - hopped it ! Tried the chicken Plait .. I have eaten a lot of these in many cities and countries , I think the product can be made much better .... The plait was more of bread and small chunks of chicken topped and baked ... Chicken should actually be cooked in-between . Ordered Chocolate Eclair - it did have the shape but did not taste the way how it should . The chocolate topping was dry and inner filling was not fresh. The seating is bit limited with a capacity of up to 20-25 people sitting. Food Ex- does offer a variety of bread , puffs , pastries , hot food - and Manchurians. The staff are also friendly. My rating is based on the chicken plait and Eclair .

I would rate the food 3/5. My hubby and bro-inlaw who visited this place for the first time, enjoyed this simple cafe culture. I'm New to the City but heard the reputation of Food-Ex before. My experience on first visit is just average. I kind of appreciate their efforts to include so many items in the snacks list,the live display of Snacks is helpful too. I ordered a Chocolate pastry and mince lamb pizza. The pastry is hard, the texture was ok. The toppings on Pizza were good, evenly spread cheese along with basic Pizza suace. However the crust was a huge let down. It tasted more like a thick pappad rather than having a crunchy mix. I still won't jump to conclusions unless trying other delicacies,thus my review might be updated in future.

If you grew up in Visakhapatnam in the 90s you know all about this place and its savory pastries, puffs and their chicken 65s.... all served up in shiny (and floppy) aluminium 'plates'. Still come here often for a quick biting especially with old friends but the veteran menu and decor is starting to become a bore and unhealthy.

This is known as vizags oldest coffee shop! Done up the old way. They have a huge variety of puffs sandwiches on display which you could pick up in a tray and bill. You can call for pizzas which they would make fresh though they don't have most of the pizza mentioned in the menu. The kadam chicken pizza I has was okayish. The sandwiches are decent. Would go back for pastries :)

It was a delight to visit this place. To start with, the name was intriguing. Upon entering, the first thing that caught the eye was the huge platter of confectionary and the fact that they baked and prepared the breads then and there. You could even see the bakery/kitchen section just beside you. The food was superb and the long jons were great. It one of the most budget friendly places I have been to. The cakes and pastries are amazing. It's has good quality foods, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The breads and cookies are nice. Place is a little cramped up and is filled with people after 6pm usually. It's been one of the longest running joints in town and everyone loves the place.
