Food was very delicious especially Prawns biryani but the service boys don't have smiley face , serving with a smile will add a extra star to the food

Taste is good with less price. We ordered Tandoori, chicken lollipop, veg Manchurian, Cashew fried rice, boneless chicken biryani. we felt like little more salt can be added in tandoori and biryani can be little more spicy.

All items we ordered was awesome and less spicy as compared to other hotels.Must try once

Good food, but dim lighting and slow service and very lazy managers. When asked to provide something, they forget the thing. We had ordered a chicken Manchuria and suddenly bill appears from nowhere! So frustrating.

Ambience is good enough nice closed type restaurant. Tried out of box like ship compartments. Now coming to food taste was good can't say extraordinary because the items which we took can have better taste. Service also nice. This is at one of the very prime center of Vizag.

I visited this restaurant for first time because some of my relatives mentioned this is a best restaurant but what I observed is they didn't maintain minimum cleanliness. I don't see any restaurant people acting with some responsibility and we waited for long time standing to get a table. We got that table by going and occupying immediately after some one left and situation is like that we had to occupy before cleaning. Seriously that is how our situation at this restaurant. It would have been better if some manager acted responsible and maintained it. I would like to rate this restaurant as 1 out of 5 because of their irresponsible behaviour and cleanliness.

Good food and affordable prices, worth visits, the inner ambience is also dim light restaurant types good for tasting any type of tandoori items

Although I didn't go there with any expectations I would say hygiene and cleanliness was something I was not ready to compromise. The table cloth was torn and they didn't even clean the table before we were asked to be seated there. Food was fine but not worth the price at all. I don't think I will be ever going there again!

Worst experience ever. The captain did not know how to talk and treated us like dogs. Even during peak hours menu not being available completely is pathetic for such an old and reputed restaurants.

Probably this restaurant is not a place for Vegetarians. A hotel should substantiate the vegetarian lovers too. We've order Manchurian and Paneer 65, the Manchurian were Burnt and hard which are probably prepared hours earlier. The Paneer 65 is okay but the same Paneer is used for all kinds of food I guess. But trust me not a place for Vegetarians.<br/>

A very good place. First of all i really like the idea of a retro design with stairs inside like a duplex house. The food here is good but i really love the ambience more. I kind of felt there is no sufficient light, while having food i am more concerned in seeing the food clear. I hope there should be some good paintings and a better lighting.

During my one day visit to Vizag, I went for lunch at this place as a friend of mine had highly recommended the place to me. I had ordered butter nan,chicken Bharta and biriyani.The nan was tender and tasted Good. Though the chicken bharta was a bit spicy but was okay. The biriyani was also nice but at the same time was spicy.We all know that spices are the specialty of South Indian cuisine.At a pocket friendly budget, I would recommend the place but please ignore the ambience and the aroma.

Worst experience in recent times. The management informed us that they don't  have packaged drinking water at room temperature. so we asked them if they can get us one or arrange it from somewhere. But they denied in a rude way with no curtesy at all. He could have politely denied,but he didn't. So we cancelled the order and informed him we'll leave and he was absolutely ok with that and said yes.

Worst service..and waiters are too arrogant..and they didn't serve well..and they served us onions which are used by others..when I asked them about it..they said we r serving directly by sprinkling salt n pepper...😂😂😂😂 I just hate Tandoori Inn

Very disappointed by the quality of food.Its too spicy to eat and waiters after the food came on to the table they doesn't even wait for the people to select which dish they want to eat they just start to serve random dish to random people on the table like they don't even bother to ask the person which dish he wants to eat.The restaurant charge more money then the mrp rate of an water bottle,its not a big deal to pay 25rs for 15rs but paying more is the point.Its the last time i'm visiting this restaurant.Dear tandoori inn improve your food quality or screw yourself up by losing more customers.

I visited dis place 2 years ago. Ik it's very late to leave a comment but still. We bought butter chicken takeaway as we had to catch a train. I and my bro nly ate it in the train. Nd in a while we got food poisoning. In the train😡!!. We were running here nd der for washrooms. Obviously it was the worst trip of my life

The food is not at all tasty. Simple dishes like paneer curry and butter naan were not cooked properly. The air conditioning wasn't good. The service is average. Overall A very bad experience.

Worst service in vizag & the staff is very rude.... We ordered prawn biryani & chicken 65.... Within 1min chicken 65 was placed infront n they told we will prepare b4 n heat when the order came that's the ans they told... N here come prawn biryani but there are chicken pieces we were shocked n asked waiter by mistake yu brought chicken we ordered prawn he told that biryani rice will come along with chicken n we refused n argued with them they don't even care n the person from billing stood up n shouted all hotels will be like that n all I told you guys don't know how to prepare don't blame others lastly with both arguments we paid only for chicken 65 n left biryani... N they didn't allowed us to take a pic.....so guys pls don't support these type of hotels n don't even think of new tandoori inn in future.......

Mutton soup is excellent...and staff was friendly and helpful(stewards and captains) Iam expected is correctly... So Iam satisfied but biryani not available in 10:00 clock...

This is a small normal looking restaurant in the circle. We just a have a try as it was nearby to our hotel. The restaurant looks dull with the dim lighting from outside and inside. As soon as we entered we were guided to the A/C section. I could not breathe as it was smelling tooooo bad and I was about to puke.  The non a/c section in same floor smelt better but there were no seats so we went to first floor where it smelt OK! We ordered  chefs Special Kebab which was nothing but malai tandoor chicken. It was soft, well tandoored with malai and smoky flavor, not spicy at all. Loved it. Then we tried keema biryani - this is served with rice and gravy separate in a single handi, with heavy at the bottom. Gravy consists of hell spiced mutton with kheema  bhurji (not kheema balls). I being spicy lover couldn't even finish 3/4 of gravy as it was way too much spicy. <br/>Food - 3/5<br/>Service - 3/5<br/>Ambience - 2/5<br/>Cleanliness - 3/5<br/>Value for money - 3/5<br/>Accessibility - 4/5 ( in the city should be able to get an auto)<br/>Tips : smell well before taking your seat. Cool place for a weekend dinner with family. Recently been here after a long while for Sankranthi holidays. Chicken Kalmi Kabaab and Pron Platter is what I relished the most here. Strictly no alcohol here. They serve Mointain Dew to keep away from the regular Thumsup, Coke & Peplsi here for a change. Chicken Biryani is also reasonably good here.

Whenever i visit Vizag, Tandoori Inn has always been on my list to have their yummy chilly prawns. But the last visit turned out to be a disappointment. Their prawns use to be bigger in size, without any kind of batter on it. I went recently with same expectation but prawns were so bad. For a moment i thought am i at the same place!!!! Dont know what's wrong, even service was not up to the mark. Ambiance is good, with wooden work around and dim lights.

This place is ALWAYS full and with no parking available, that's usually a major problem.<br/>The food is good, but the service is terrible. The people who work there barely care about anything.

I have been eating here since I was a kid and they always serve the best food in town. I was out of the country for 5 years and recently moved back, and I was very much surprised when I visited them, they haven't changed a bit- which could be a drawback (the wooden interior theme is still classy though)  but on the plus side, the prices haven't changed much either.

New Tandoori Inn is located nearby diamond park.I went to this restaurant so many times during my college days.I tried their chicken, mutton,kheema biryani and lassi.Each and every item was good and l like how they use copper utensils like old days.I was shocked when I saw recent reviews,maybe now maintenance is degraded.But my rating is totally based on my overall experience.

Extremely poor. Sample this: cockroaches running on the tables and walls (response -- we do regularly disinfect), fungi on the side wood (response -- fungi not on my table), disinterested servers. And as if this were not enough, they were charging prices more than MRP (water mrp = 20, charge = 25). If they want to charge higher MRP they are supposed to procure water bottles with higher rate (like they do in star hotels and airports). It was definitely one of the better restaurants of Vizag awhile back. But definitely not now. Note: we sat in the ground floor (left side).

This restaurant went from being one of the best in the town to one of the worst. I mean 2-3 years back the food here used to be amazing specially the barbeques add to that the amazing service provided. But, now boy! the food has become so so bad that it is better to avoid the place.<br/>The only thing that hasn't changed over the years is the customer intake. Guess I was there on a bad day. Lot of ppl suggested dat as it's name says good wid tandoori nd kebabs. But unfortunately I didn't liked it. Meat was not roasted well nd it was my frnds bday he was disappointed nd me ?? Bad food is a ban in my dictionary. So never went there again.

The interiors and the way the restaurant looks is superb. Ambience is fine. Decent food. North Indian items taste fine. Naan breads are soft and tasty

Used to be one of the best places at vizag.. But somehow they are losing it. Had some butter nanns and panneer curry. The curry was excellent.. Chicken Dum BIRYANI is worse. U cannot have it here.. Faced the same incident twice. Ambience is good but the service is another backdrop.

This was 2nd day of our vizag trip after couple of lunch and dinner  we wanted to try something different and based on zomato rating thought of trying this. If it is 3.7 in Hyderabad its very decent .When we went it was crowded so that it would be good place  but the ambience was very dull we were seated at upper deck which was so low in light I could hardly see anything not even the menu.My sister wanted to try soup , the waiter came and said they don't have soup. Very hard to understand on sunday evening full crowded restaurant and you have listed something in Menu and it is not available.In starters ordered chefs special chicken tikka, it was good in taste and in main course ordered Chicken Do pyaza, Naan and Veg Biryani. They didn't have any steam rice or plain rice.We were disappointed with taste of the food and every body had bad stomach the next day.Definitely not recommendedWe quickly moved out of the restaurant as I felt suffocating, had dessert in the outside icecream parlourFood 2.5/5Ambience 1/5Service 2/5

This place has been around since my childhood but never it seemed monotonous. They always have been well ahead of time in ambience, quality and Taste. the menu is very diversified with twist of local favour to it. My all time favorite would be Chicken biryani, Mixed fixed rice.! They are absolutely stunning and mouthwatering. I Never miss eating at this whenever I touch down at vizag. this place is perfect for famliy..

This place is one of the known place in vizag for it's chicken delicacies. <br/>Visited today... the ambience is nice, quiet & dim lit, quite a calming atmosphere. <br/>But the dim light is a bit problematic as we are not able to see our food properly. <br/>We started with cream of Tomato soup, a basic soup, But after long time I had such a simple & yummy tomato soup, totally natural. <br/>Then we had the " Chef's special kebab "<br/>Chicken marinated in cashew paste & it was totally felt when we had the flavours of the kebabs. Liked it very much. Mildly spiced, tastes very good with the chutney. <br/>Then we had Kadai chicken & Veg. Muglai. <br/>Kadai Chicken was having a andhra flavour's tint in it. <br/>Ordered Onion Raita but was too bland , I wish they had Bundi raita. <br/>Folks try this place & must try the starters. <br/>

Had dinner here tonight upon recommendation by a friend. Ambience seems fine. We ordered some chicken curry, egg fried rice and some starters. only baby corn starter was good. Chicken chettinad is horrible. fried rice was ok. I just felt , it was waste of money. Didn't enjoy the dinner at all. Serving was poor. The guy who was serving us seemed like in rush. I asked him to bring the main course after we finished the starters. But he said that even if he takes it inside, he has to just cover it and keep and so instead he kept it on the table. Over all, ambience is ok, food was awful, serving very poor. Bottom line, needs so much improvement. I would never go again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The taste scores 4/5 but the most disgusting thing is the low lighting. It's only when we observe closely we realize the reason for the low lighting. The place was not clean. Coming to the food and price: good taste at affordable price. It's good to take away than to dine in

Todays chicken fry piece biryani, spl chckn biryani, dum biryani was bad.. biryani rice felt like half cooked..this one was my favourite ten yrs back

The restaurant has a good aura and nice food. There was a stringent stink that spoiled the show. The staff is also not so hospitable, only reason being rated low.

Had a couple of dinners with my friend. Used to be a good place. Had an unpleasant lunch recently. There is not proper management and needs a big improvement. Got the wrong items delivered. Ambience is fine and Chinese food is great. Must try item : Any Fried rice.

No lights in the restaurants and they say it ambience. I guess it is to cover up the cleanliness. <br/>Food is good and they served in time.. I had panner chilli as a starter and it is tasty.. Flip side this restaurant is tooooooo costly. <br/>A panner chilli and veg fried rice cost me 400 which is way more thanany other restaurant.

I loved the tandoori dishes. Chicken was very good. Spicy and tasty. Interiors were good. But we waited for 30mins for table. Service was ok. Very crowded in the night. Biryani was good. Tandoori dishes are the best.

Once, Tandoori Inn was a nice restaurant for a weekend Dine-in. The ambience was great then. But in the recent times it lost it's name a bit. But there was no change in the taste. The Fried rice served here and the Naan items were the best. <br/>Finally, keep it in the top of the list for a take-away. But, for dine-in think a bit.

Cockroaches cockroaches every where!!<br/><br/>Saw some cockroaches crawling on the wall and requested for a table change as there was a sightly larger capacity table free(we were 4 people and requested to move to a 6 seat table), this was the waiter's reply "we can't give a six seat table. that's how it is here and either you can stay at this table or leave as there is nothing that can be done" <br/>We stayed back to realise that cockroaches were every where :( . Very bad hygiene!!

Owned by a friend. This restaurant has a very unique ambience with tables spanning what appears to be three levels. Their Curries, especially the Paneer Butter Masala, Kadhai Paneer, Kadhai Chicken are wonderful.

I have been to this place a few times, to allow me to be fair about it..<br/>The Good: The ambience, private space, good serving, attention to all customers, really tasty food, sensible pricing, friendly staff(imp for first timers).<br/><br/>The Bad: Steps leading to the top are too steep for someone with vertigo or nausea. And all dishes are not available all the time.<br/><br/>The Ugly: Annoying waiting queues at peak hours and the ugly waiting setup.
