Review Essence Restaurant - Zirakpur

It's been the second day I am enjoying my dinner and breakfast here. The food has been great and quit to my liking. Having stayed in Hyderabad for sometime getting hold of spicy food is a must. However the host here Rakhi and Paras have been of tremendous help. They have gone way beyond and helped us settle in. Once again thank for the hospitality.

Staff is very cooperative and helpful and wonderful hospitality.... Food is delicious 😋...Mr Paras was really nice and cooperative... My kid just loved his way of giving things to her ...... Overall amazing 😍

Essence is having GT road festival. This festival is serving authentic punjabi dishes to satisfy ones hunger. We completely enjoyed our time over here with lip smacking dishes. In starters, we had the following ▪Paneer tikka Oh my! So soft paneer cubes, perfectly cooked. ▪Beetroot kebab These kebabs are must try. Completely loved the taste. ▪Tawa fish One of the best fish we ever had. We could have this anytime soon. ▪Bharwa gol gappe Perfect snack to enjoy your evening. Super yum loaded gol gappas. ▪Pain wale gol gappe In main course, we had the following ▪Saag chicken Super delicious, perfectly cooked, a must try! ▪Kolkata chicken biryani Each bite was loaded with flavousome spices. ▪Paneer korma Such unique taste, completely loved it. ▪Dal langar wali Perfectly cooked, totally yum. In dessert, we had the following ▪Coffee caramel cake Yum yum yum!! A must try. ▪Pineapple halwa Such a unique dessert we completely enjoyed. ▪Jalebi with rabdi Always love having this one from here. Perfect end to a perfect night.

Last weekend We went for dinner at essence, park plaza. I had buffet in which 2 veg and 3 non veg starters served on table and limited vareity in main course but all the starters and mains were good in taste and desserts were also great. How can you allow a private party to be held at the restaurant? Yesterday we walked in to your restaurant to dine in and was told that we can’t, as the whole place is occupied for a private party. Utter nonsense! <br/>A restaurant is meant for walk ins and thin reservations. A waiting time can be understood but converting your restaurant into a banquet hall at your convenience is absurd.

Not a well made pizza. May be we were expecting preparation like that of dominoz and pizza hut. They take too much time for food. Noodles were good. Rating 4/5 due to ambiance

We planned to visit Gourmet nine but since it was closed we decided to have lunch at Park plaza essence.Ambience was pretty good.We ordered cafe latte,Anjeer kofta,paneer & Home made ravioli<br/>arrabiata which was sumptuous..One of the best I had in Chandigarh.<br/>Kofta was creamy and super delicious.Paneer gravy was also very delectable.Garlic naan were soft<br/>Overall excellent food.<br/>Also the service was impeccable.We were served by Saurav who was very polite,Prompt and exceptional <br/>Will definitely visit again for the amazing food and excellent service<br/>

The buffet spread is phenomenal and most of the items are - delicious. The spinach & cottage cheese roles, exotic fruit & cheese sticks, the tomato & basil soup, raw papaya salad, the typical punjabi main course - dal makhni & shaahi paneer, kashmiri pulao, hot sizzling chocolate brownie are some of the items worth multiple repeats!

Ambience is very good, what I like about it was the space between tables. You can have private conversation. <br/>Service is good with nice presentation and food taste

I have been here so many times with family and friends it has a very nice and plush ambience which feels like you are giving plenty time to your loved once. <br/>I have tried almost all the menu as I stay close to it and I must say that in Zirakpur they have very good taste a bit pricey but I don’t mind paying.<br/>Must try is the pasta white sauce which was too good for me atleast a different taste from tricity and lunch or dinner and <br/><br/>photo is not uploading Zomato help me out

This restaurant serves such a wide range of high quality food that it was difficult to select what one wanted to eat. The service is efficient, courteous and pleasant. Hotel cafe in Park Plaza Zirakpur was absolutely fantastic, and amazing with their variety's of food such as western, Indian and aslo local food. Their staff are very friendly and helpful, they take care of u while having breakfast, dinner and lunch. Cafe beautiful and very clean, even they have many choices in cakes, desserts, juices and aslo theirs sweet dishes...All over was fantastic and amazing..really had great holidays in their hotel..especially Thanks to Ram Nd Vikram for great Hospitality👌👌👌😍

Essence Park Plaza is nice place to hangout with friends. Well I recently visited here for dine. Its ambience n decor was good. Sitting arrangement was well managed. We order Dal Makhani n Anjeer Aur Khumani Ke Kofte with Laccha Prantha n Butter Naans, all was yummy. Quality n quantity was good. Staff was attentive.<br/>Overall experience was good.

It was the office party. I loved the Starters section but the main course was not very good. I would rate Average on the Main course. Brilliant option for Starters. Dessert was over cooked i.e. brownie. It was caramelized than required. I wish I could try general options than the buffet option. I wont say I was happy but i was not disappointing as well. i would still come back and try more options and review again.

This one is no less and the restaurant Essence is a spacious area that serves buffet meals and also a-la-carte options. <br/>I have tried this place multiple times and have never been disappointed. The variety is amazing and the taste of the food is delectable. <br/>The place comes up with a food festival every few months that is sure to tickle your taste buds. This is one place that will never disappoint you. Another great point is the fact that this place is not overpriced like most five star properties. This is decently priced and very affordable. The chefs put in their best to get the choicest and tastiest of food on the plate and that is majorly appreciated.

I visited them recently ..they are having this event named Dilli-6 dedicated to the flavours of delhi ki galiya<br/>.loved the food the atmosphere was good<br/>TheDilli-6 is the annual fest of our hotel.Our restaurant, Essence is transformd into old delhi with desi sharab ka theka and much more. Few highlights of the event are:<br/><br/>1. The food is curated by Chef Suresh, who came specially for this festival from Delhi.<br/><br/>2. The festival is from 16th Nov to 2nd Dec and starts everyday at 7:30 pm.<br/><br/>3. the price of Dilli 6 dinner Buffet is 999 AI.<br/><br/>4. Well, I recently visited this place for covering their DILLI-6 Food Festival.<br/><br/>This festival is totally dedicated to authentic flavours and cuisines of purani Dilli.<br/><br/>They have an amazing drool worthy buffet between 16th Nov to 2nd December for ₹999 and for the kids under the age of 10 it’s totally free. 🤩<br/>Timings: 7:30pm onwards.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>I totally fell for some of their items like- Ragra Patties, Biryani, gol gappe, keema kaleji, kaju matar makhana sabzi, rabri prantha, phirni and much more.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>For more updates keep following @thefooddiggerr on Instagram and zomato.

The ambience, food , vibes and the staff is just amazing here. They have great preparation for the food. The chef is just amazing with his food. The staff is very polite and well mannered. One can have a great experience in everything here, you won't be disappointed.

Good food, good ambience. A la carte menu is definitely better than the breakfast buffet. Tried the Bolognese spaghetti and meatlover pizza. The Bolognese was cooked perfectly and had a good blend of flavors. The pizza wasn't exceptionally good but tasted fine.<br/>They have a lot of variety when it comes to the breakfast buffet but I think they can improve when it comes to the quality and taste of food and beverages

Experienced fresh beer and fallen in love . Love the ambience . Tried chicken tikka /salad/ sandwich /chicken momos<br/>And fallen in love with chicken momos<br/>Presentation is too good and momos are delicious I love the taste and aroma of the same<br/><br/>Secondly I liked multigrain burger served by them it's so yum and soft patty inside it too delicious.<br/><br/>Rest I almost tried their starters and I had a good experience with the same and I m loving it<br/>Soon going to review dinner buffet.

Had breakfast there, a very vast spread they have, probably the most variety for breakfast in the entire area, the sausages, omellete, salami, everything was good and tasty. The staff is efficient too.

As Shimla is my home town so I frequently visit this place this time as per my friends recommendation we plan to stay in park plaza,and found the place quite good, decent staff, we had buffet breakfast though variey was not much but still the dishes they had was not spicy and have good taste specially omellete. They do have sufficient option in alacart as well.<br/>Valuable time spent and we Happy.

Recently I visited there to attend their chocolate festival 'DEATH BY CHOCOLATE'. The entire chocolate menu is so amazing but my favorite among them was choco chunk pizza. <br/>few of them which I loved there was:-<br/>1. Nutella tiramisu- it was so soft and the nutella is my all time favorite so this has to be my favorite.<br/>2. OMG Mousse- I can't forget the taste of this mousse, really amazing.<br/>3. Peanutella shake- this shake was both tasty and yummy. <br/>Loved the ambience there.

I stayed many times in Park Plaza on official trips. During the stay, I got the chance of having food in Essence. <br/>They have enough variety and taste in their buffet plans along with quick service.

Visited this place for the death by chocolate ( fest)being a dessert lover i had to try this place .<br/>I tried a variety of dessertd and shakes here and loved them .<br/>My Favourites would be- Nutella tiramisu- Had nutella tiramisu for the first time and absolutely loved it .<br/>Chocolate pyramid pastry - It was soft and melt in the mouth . The flavour was perfect and i loved it .<br/>Chocolate mousse- I am a huge of mousse personally this was excellent. It was light and had a balanced mix of flavours .<br/>Coming to the drinks i liked the oreo shake -You can neber go wrong with oreo .<br/>Overall i had a good time here . The place is beautiful and the ambience obviously is excellent . <br/>

Amazing ambience and scrumptious food. Essence is a perfect place to have lunch/dinner with your friends and family. The prices are very reasonable. I tried their mix sauce and white sauce alfredo, lunch buffet and both are too good.<br/><br/>They're having a Death by Chocolate week from 1-7 July in which they've world famous chocolate desserts and drinks like Chocolate Martini and dark decandence. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE.

I stayed here with my family on our way back from Shimla to Delhi for a night and got a chance to experience their hospitality and excellent food. We ordered fish and chips and mutton biryani for dinner along with mango mojito. The fish and chips were excellent. The fish was super crispy from outside and absolutely moist and melt in the mouth from inside and the dip that it was accompanied with was amazing. Mutton biryani was not very good. Mutton was not well seasoned and was very chewy. The drink that we ordered was a win and complemented the food that we ordered wonderfully. <br/><br/>In the morning, we tried their breakfast buffet. Their buffet spread is good. We tried almost all of the dishes. Loved the bircher muesli, chicken sausages in tomato sauce and fish cutlets. Their Indian section has peas paranthas, onion kachori, medu vada, idlis etc. which are very tasty. Also created a quick salad from the available ingredients in the salad section. The sauces are wonderful, a special mention of their pesto sauce which added layers of flavours in the salad. The drinks section had mango shake, freshly squeezed watermelon juice and orange and pineapple canned juices. The only things that I did not like were French roasts which were very dry and danish cookies which did not have any flavour. <br/><br/>My expectations were higher in terms of food from a place like this but the ambience and staff were splendid and the items that we liked compensated the items that we did not like (which were few in comparison to all the good food that we had here). All in all a good place to relax and have good food!

I have been here for breakfast i choose their buffet option.<br/>Its a great choice i tried their almost all items very good in taste.<br/>Everything is amazing like omellete, chicken salami, juice, cakes, sandwich everything is good in taste.<br/>No doubt very welcoming and good staff and their service is also excellent.<br/>I have not found anything bad here.<br/>Well maintained.

Been there with my family to celebrate sisters birthday.<br/><br/>We had buffet with consist of huge salad options, 2soups (veg and non veg both), North Indian stuff eg- kadai Chicken, mutton Rohan josh, paneer lababdar, mix veg, biryani, pulao, assorted breads. Some continental stuff eg- creamy mushroom, fish fillet (super awesome), pasta, roasted potatoes.<br/><br/>Dessert selection also has international and Indian desserts options. <br/><br/>We loved the food but we loved service more as the staff was very gentle, polite and very helpful. <br/><br/>They gave us brownie with birthday msg on top complimentary which was very surprising for us. <br/><br/>It’s located on the 1st floor of park plaza hotel Ambala road and it has decent sitting with decent mild music. <br/><br/>Cheers! <br/><br/>

WORST HOTEL EVER..I stayed in this hotel at 5Apr to 12 April ..Worst food ever .Very spicy food or even I ordered a pizza a chef made pizza on kathi roll wrap..Service were disgusting even on reception all were misguide us ..Our flight was at 12am at 12 Apr .So i asked plz extend our check out time .they said we will give u complimentary stay at 2 PM 2 hours extra but next day all they refused and charged full 6500 for 5 hours .Staff were not professional or even on front desk a manager named abhishek ya amit I forgot his name .he was so rude..Maha ghatiya maha bakwas Hotel i had never seen in my life.Its not a five star property its a 2 star property but i can only give 5stars to the..D cost of food items that is not worth it

Breakfast is simply not worth it, basic comparison Roadside tastes better, service is shit on tops.<br/><br/>Had a stay for a week full. And it is in these long stay you actually see what is happening around. I asked Manager to change Watermelon Juice as it started to taste bad and he just suggests, “Will bring a fresh one for you.” And yes it never came. <br/><br/>I waited for basic Aalu paratha for 15 min and left without eating later. If you are a CORPORATE client, don’t fall for the trick. There are hotels that treat well, clearly this is not the one.

Dilli 6 Food festival at Essence, Park Plaza was by far one of the best Food festivals I've been to. The Food, decor and service were top notch.<br/><br/>The entrance to Essence had been decorated with a massive Red Fort Facade, it was like entering Delhi when you step into the restaurant. The Staff were dressed in all white uniforms with white Topis/Hats for the Food festival, and the walls adorned with Classic Bllywood Posters. There was even a proper Chai Thella.<br/><br/>Coming to the Food, Chef Raman had done a wonderful job of bringing the authentic Purani Delhi dishes to the festival. He took us through an enriching tour of the Food festival and all that went into making the Food festival possible.<br/><br/>There were a lot many dishes on offer, the best of which were: Golgappe, <br/><br/>There was a special Counter for Paranthas, termed 'Paranthey Wale Gali' having unique Parnatha stuffing options like: Tamatar, Nimbu, Papad, Satoo, Karela, Mirchi, Matar, Rabdi Khurchan, Shakkar. Out of these Satoo and Papad Paranthas were too good. Oh and these were served with Pickle and ample amounts of Butter. <br/><br/>The Ragda Patty and the Non Vegetarian Tawa counter - Gurde / Kapoore / Boti / Keema / Kaleji were all amazing. Cooked to perfection, I just loved all the starters.<br/><br/>I skipped the Vegetarian Tawa Counter - Bhindi / Arbi / Baigan / Aloo / Karela, though I'm sure these would have been amazing too.<br/><br/>In starters Bhai Jaan Ke Kabab (Murg Shammi Kabab) were perfectly consistent and literally melted in our mouths, amongst the best Shammi Kebabs I've ever had. <br/><br/>Tawe ki Machhli- Properly Marinated Fish fried to golden colour and served hot with tartar sauce. These were succulent fish Tikka pieces and a delight for the senses.<br/><br/>The Main course had a lot many dishes, each one better than the rest. My favorites of these were:<br/><br/>- Chicken Ishtu: Rich creamy Coconut Milk based gravy chicken. It's so unique and flavorful that this dish even when added to their regular menu will be a big hit.<br/><br/>- Gosht Dum Biryani: Seldom do we get such authentic Dum Biryani in the tricity. This was so good, that it took me back to the best Biryanis I've had in Hyderabad and Pune.<br/><br/>The Desserts were amazing and by this time I was so full, that I couldn't try all the desserts, a regret that I carry to this day :P<br/><br/>- Kaale Jamun / Pethe ka Halwa, Baalushahi / Khaja, Seviyon ka Muzaffar / Phirnee, Paan ki Ice Cream, Balli Maran Ka Habshi Halwa, Palangtod Burfi, Khurchan, Sohan Halwa, Masala Wala Gud Crème Caramel (One of the best Fusion Desserts I've ever tasted), Chikki<br/><br/>To the end the amazing Food sojourn I just couldn't afford to miss the Masala Chai. The Chai was perfect, served in Earthen Kulhar with Mathi. I couldn't have asked for a better end to this perfect evening. The Effort that Park Plaza management has put into this Food Festival is commendable and I am eagerly awaiting for their next Food Festival. Cheers! :)

many a times i have heard people say that 5 star hotels is only about ambiance and a place u can latter flaunt about and the food is always ok in 5 stars . <br/>essence living up to its name have changed at least my mind set . had been here for the Delhi food festival , haven been stayed in Delhi for a couple of years have some wonderful food memories which  could recall as i set foot . a beautiful decorated rickshaw is in the corner as we enter. the main gate of the restaurant was given the shape of laal killa . all the waiters dressed in kurta pajama with nehru topi , kits hung on the wall and a astrologer in 1 center gives it the delh wali feel . <br/>u just have it all from golgappe , chaat papri , tikki , to a tea stall with filmy slogans , it was mesmerizing . <br/><br/>the welcome drink was nice and refreshing , cranberry flavored . <br/>starting with the starters was Bhai Jaan Ke Kabab or Murg Shammi Kabab cooked to profection on a tawa served with some onions and mint chutney . i just gave it up there and then , suttle flavors melt in ur mouth . <br/>2nd on for recomendation was the amritsari machi , marinated deep fired fish , crispy on the out soft and steamy from inside . <br/>3rd was the sattu ka paranhey  from the section paranthae wali gal . nice genourous filling of sattu , flaky parantha wth butter , wow . <br/>also they had a special non veg tawa wih had kaleji , botti etc , sauteed with a whole bunch of spices . <br/><br/>now in the main course very elaborate . Chicken Ishtu , Dal Shahjahani, Paneer Lababdar, Navratan Korma and kofta with prunes . i was hard to pick of the best but here chciekn ishtu was something lip smacking . i personally recommended chef to get it on their regular menu . chicken cooked in coconut based gravy with rai and kadhi patta . the breads were served hot as per our choice . <br/><br/>kuch meta hojae at the dessert section . they had come up with all the selected Indian sweets which dates back to history . out of all my fav was the Habshi Halwa (darkest of all halwa ) ,  Khurchan ,  Palangtod Burfi . now there was 1 more dish or sweet dish that caught attention , Masala Wala Gud Crème Caramel , now this is wht u call fusion food . the masala wala gud creame caramel was actually more delicious than the auttentic creme caramel .

Park Plaza has maintained its presence and quality of food. The buffet consists of 4 snacks 2 veg and 2 non veg. The quality and presentation of the food is very good. Then after snacks comes the whole range of Main course dishes comprises of mutton chicken and fish. As chicken is common at homes. Main concentration is on the Mutton and Fish. It's delicious 😋 after that you have a lot of desserts to eat puddings kheer cakes soufflé barfis also.

On our last night at home, we went to Essence, Park Plaza for dinner. The restaurant menu on Zomato looked good and had something for everyone- North Indian, Southeast Asian, continental etc. I was looking forward to a quiet place, but the restaurant turned out to be quite noisy. We reached around 8:30 and had to wait for a bit. There was a buffet spread but all of us wanted à-la-carte, so we placed an order for honey chilli vegetables, asian spinach and corn rolls, couple of mocktails, beers and wine.

Very poor service, glasses were not clean, table clothes were not clean. Had to wait for long to get the order, even longer wait to get the bill.

Went today for a birthday dinner , the ambiance was nice , the service was excellent and the food tasted amazing , instead of the buffet went for the ala carte and was really pleased with the choice , the staff was very courteous , attentive , ordered tomato soup it was very tasty , got complimentary bread buns and bread sticks with butter liked that gesture , then the main course was also tasty and got complimentary salad , the dishes tasted nice , the tawa roti was soft , overall had a very nice experience , was a bit spectical with the past reviews but after visiting no more doubts , will definitely visit again

Date : 3rd November 2017<br/><br/>Just started our tour with lunch in this lovely restaurant a few weeks back . Simple veg buffet with aalu Gobi, daal makhni, saute vegetables with raw salad and missi roti, butter naan, butter roti, steamed rice. Dessert was moong daal halwa and phirni. Food is good , service is quick and captain is friendly . Ambience is cool and our stay was very comfortable. I just loved the place.

Yes it is Dilli-6😍and this time it is Chandigarh. We loved the food here special the elaborate Indian street food counter serving varieties of food. Nice Decor, the quawalli music at the restaurant. Service was excellent. I would like to mention a few names who made our day. Vikram,Praveen , chef Gaurav and the restaurant manager Rajeeb who organized a surprise cake for our occasion. Wish to see you ppl soon.

Fine dining place to have a buffet breakfast with friends and family. Ambience is good, staff well behaved and service is good. There is a lot of variety on table which is good. Food presentation and quality is great. Sitting area is good, a small portion was based on the theme chandni Chowk but didn't impress much. Overall a fine place to try. Highly recommended.

I am a regular visitor and went there once again yesterday with a couple of friends...the food was absolutely amazing...the flavours in dessert could be worked upon but all in all it was a pleasant experience

Since we were staying at the hotel for the weekend, we got a chance to savour the amazing breakfast fare the hotel puts up every morning. You'll get anything from idli to bacon and omelette to brioche and doughnuts for breakfast! Only disgrace would be the fact that they were a tad bit disorganised due to a huge inflow of customers and were running out of foodstuff. Though the situation was saved by the managers who stepped in brilliantly and I got a cappuchino in like a min or so!!<br/>For a late lunch, I was craving some spaghetti and they made some awesome lip smacking tangilicious spaghetti arrabiata. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was a treat for sore taste buds!! <br/>Overall a good experience staying and eating here!

Essence is one of three restaurants in Park Plaza, Zirakpur. It has a large seating hall and wide spread of a la carte and buffet. It is a multi cuisine restaurant with a bakery along. The service is prompt and the staff is very courteous. Some favourites are fish fingers, biryani, stir fried vegetables and pasta. For breakfast, do try the omelette and pancakes. The chocolate pudding and gulab jamun are my preferred desserts.<br/><br/>I've usually dined here during my stays at the hotel. They do the room service as well, and that too is impeccable. They do have an interesting Sunday brunch that one can check out.

Good food great ambience and really helping and sweet staff they also made us Jain food cause we are Jains and it's was quite well made! Worth a try ! Just a little bit expensive!

Horribly pathetic food for lunch! Not expected out of such a brilliant property. <br/><br/>I was here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and the kind of food served was below my expectation and maybe even more pathetic than roadside restaurants. Just the hyper doesn't help sir!

I've been to this place twice and both the times my mind has that saying in it " uncha naam feeka pakwan"...<br/>The food according to me was not upto the mark both the times...snacks were very very ordinary... But the buffet was still okay...<br/>It's good that they keep on bringing these festivals like kashmiri food festival, mango festival etc..but there is still room for loads of improvement..

Visited this place for an official trip and relished all meal buffets.<br/>With the available menu arranged, the breakfast options ranging from South Indian food options like Idli Sambhar to North Indian tummy fillers like Poori Bhaaji, although the beverages like coffee, tea, strawberry shake were not at par.<br/>Lunch & Dinner having nice North Indian delicacies for both veg and non veg. They even had special arrangements for people having Navratra Fast.<br/>Courteous staff serving with a smile was a delight.<br/>Nice place to arrange conferences with big gatherings.<br/>

It was a nice experience being there.. The food was nice/. The staff was very courteous and cooperative.. The food was a bit spicy so the attendant complemented us with mock-tails.. All over it was a good experience being there.. Would like to visit again..

Had a wonder stay at park plaza .. The breakfast at cinnamon cafe was good ... Lot of variety and ready egg station. And you can ask for may preparation, the French toast had a slight taste of cinnamon and the beacon was like a huge slice ... The presentation of the egg that I ordered was OK ... But I would like it to better .. The egg that I had ordered was a cheese omelet with extra chillies .. I hoped that the omelet would melt in my mouth and the oozing cheese would fill my mouth and that's not what happened ... It was just there .. And the beacon was good .. For the size .. It was much better ...money well spent .. Did I??

I had dinner at essence couple of months ago when they had a Delhi food festival..<br/><br/>I found the staff to be courteous, the ambience was good.. During the food festival, the variety.. Starters, main course, desserts was good..it was a good experience..<br/><br/>The hotel though is located in an inner lane, off a highway which has very dense traffic..the parking inside the hotel is quite limited too...because of the location, i have not preferred to visit them again..

I had the Lunch Buffet and Breakfast Buffet at Essence at the Park Hotel during my official trip to Chandigarh. <br/><br/>Their lunch buffet was really nice with Indian, Italian & Thai/Chinese spread. The spread was just perfect not too large and not so small. Otherwise i always end up just tasting food at the buffets! <br/><br/>I loved their salads, pita bread with hummus (esp their beet root hummus), pasta in red and white sauce which was cooked to order and was delicious, keema kaleji was really good in Indian but my favourite was fish in thai basil sauce. In dessert Gajar ka halwa, Kiwi soufflé were great.<br/><br/>The Lunch buffet also had one pint of beer which was more than enough for me with the delicious food. My colleagues who didn’t want to take alcohol were offered virgin mojito.<br/><br/>The breakfast buffet was again just right for any taste buds. I being meat lover had their yummy chicken sausages, bacon and salami. The chef prepared excellent cheese and mushroom omelet. Strawberry yogurt was great too. I didn’t try their parathas, idli or aloo poori but got excellent reviews from my colleagues.<br/><br/>The service was great and the ambience was nice and comfortable.<br/><br/>Thanks for the excellent stay I had!

I had a buffet breakfast n it was The Best Service i experienced till date in all of Indian Buffet Places,its a Buffet(where you have to help yourself) but still they will assist you like you're some Maharaja. You literally wouldnt need to move from your seat to pick food,just tell them n they would bring freshly made items straight from the Kitchen!<br/><br/>Food was Good,not that great but being served is a Privilege here!

Celebrated my wedding event at Park Plaza Zirakpur where in we got a chance to revisit Essence which was truly an essence of hospitality. Chef Raman at the helm is doing a stupendous job NOT by making amazing food but by manning and torchbearing a team of lovely chefs. Had a lovely breakfast food and service with Naveen as the ARM and Vijay n Sushil as wonderful servers who in a short span, gauge guests palate of service levels..keep up...!!!

I went here for lunch buffet with my family for my beloved husband’s birthday celebration. The hotel is huge (as it is supposed to be). But sadly the vegetarian buffet menu was as small as any you could expect. Generally in buffets, a restaurant tries to showcase their chef’s abilities in starters and desserts area. But these people served us with Papdi chat in their starters :O *High disappointment*. Only good dish on their starters menu was churrnas. Desserts were also of average quality and variety. Served us with mango and guava ice cream along with halwa and a small truffle pastry. Probably I had high expectations with the name which just got spoiled after I visited this place.

Buffet is OK OK. Starters were good. Ambience is plus point. But main course is not as per expectations. In short Better options are available than park plaza.

Lovely place, great ambience, excellent hospitality and sumptuous food with as original taste as possible. I started with Blue Cheese, White Chocolate and Apple Soup that is really good. If you are resistant to sweet recipes try another Soup as this one you will find sweet due to chocolate and Apple ingredients. In the starters I had Nut Crumbled River Fish and it was delicious. The beauty is not only on the taste of the preparations but the presentation gives you a different kind of delight. In the next course I had Spinach and Tarragon - Chicken Roulade and you will find it yummy. The sweet end to the story is fine with three excellent dishes. Baked Yoghurt, Citrus Cheese Cake, and, Rose Leaf Compote and Dark Chocolate Truffle. <br/><br/>Overall an excellent, sumptuous and yummy experience. Bon Appetite.

I have been to this place twice and found to be over crowded. Delhi-6 festival was average and the taste of dishes was below average as found in old Delhi area.The place host Kitty parties in the same area and few tables available of other reservations.It was more like a marriage hall than a decent restaurant for family.<br/>Earlier buffet was good, we enjoyed the food but the atmosphere is same.need improvement.

I usually prefer having buffets at any new place I visit. Coz one can try a lot of dishes in one single meal, u get to hav a whole lot of variety! <br/>So buffet was wat i preferred here as well. Went on a dinner with my family.<br/>The buffet here costs ₹1080, which is actually quite on the higher syd. <br/>Starters dint include much of variety, ther wer kebabs, crispy vegies and pasta, dats all, but wer tasty enough.<br/>Soups weren't upto the mark.<br/>Main course included both indian and Chinese. Around 4-5 dishes in Indian cuisine and 2-3 in Chinese. Both wer equally good.<br/>But the best part of the buffet was the desserts section. Quite a number of sweet dishes and all amazing. <br/>Cuming to the restaurant, itz very spacious, comfortable sitting arrangement and beautiful.<br/>The staff is very humble.<br/>Nice place to be to.<br/>

Nice buffet spread for breakfast.. Good combination of Indian and Continental. The bread collection is nice. The pancakes are yummy. I would suggest stick to continental breakfast because that is better in taste in comparison to India. The staff, ambience and decor is also very nice.

Buffet has limited cuisines...<br/>Paneer is very soft n melts in your mouth...<br/>Gulab jamun are too good...other deserts were also good...chicken n fish also has good test...they have projector so one can enjoy match with food...

Buffets at park plaza Essence.. are always good .. Although limited variety still taste of every dish is prepared gives u pure authentic taste. Have been to numbers of food festivals amazingly good.. Perfect blend Hospitality and ambience makes the moments more special..

Essence is a multi cuisine restaurant of park plaza zirakpur<br/>Visited it with my family for a dinner buffet.<br/>Buffet is regular fare nothing extraordinary.<br/>Live counter is of pasta and freshly baked pizza of your choice.. lovely thin crust pizzas.<br/>Desserts are good and nicely presented.<br/>Bize sized portions.special marks goes for a unique coffee based mousse , it had the right texture and a 'tasty'bitterness of the coffee.<br/>Full marks for the service and hospitality. They made special care and arrangements for my 2 year old daughter , also a welcome drink in a kiddie glass. <br/>Chef personally came to each and every table for feedback.<br/>Do try their in house bakery.

I have had the worst every experience in this hotel. The staff of the hotel does not know the basic meaning of the service and hospitality industry. The hotel lacks in all things relating to the satisfaction of the guests. Hosting a party or a function there is a total waste of money and reputation.

worst hotel, worst staff, worst food quality. This hotel is the worst place to stay and eat in the whole city.  There whole staff are bloody full of uneducated people and illeterate people. Informing everybody that its a degraded hotel. Never host a party there because waitors services are pathetic. The food is so awful that its an embarassement to call your guests there. this hotel just had an advantage of the location else everything is a bloody sham in this hotel.

Simple food but ones which let's you know how the restaurant's preparation is about ... The food and service were awesome ... Value for money is also not bad .. The newest place in town at the newest 5 start hotel in town, Park Plaza Zirakpur. The restaurant feels large and spacious. Buffets have a wide variety. Food is tasty and service staff is humble. A must try
