I visited this place few days back and I must say it is one of the most pocket friendly place on VIP road , Zirakpur . It offers a great quantity in very reasonable price . Virgin Mojito is amazing and the veg dimsums are also quite good . Even the main course is worth trying , especially the paneer which is fabulous . The presentation of the food is also superb .

I just love the food by desi cooks. Either veg or nonveg both are the best. But this time when I went there the seating and ambience was changed which I didn't like much. And the main problem about the restaurant and bar is that it has black filming on the doors so when I saw it from the front I thought it's closed. They should better do something about it otherwise they can loose customers.

Good food, good atmosphere with good service. Restaurant is located at VIP road Zirakpur and one of the best place to have your dinner with family or friends. We had our dinner here and the food was very tasty. Pricing is fair according to the quality and quantity.
Slight disappointed with the delayed service but it was a minor issue when the food is good. I would definitely recommend this to someone.

We had lunch here a few times while in Zirakpur visiting family and friends. The servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems. We sat on the family round table and enjoyed the view with our delicious snacks and lunch. Must try! Menu is perfect.Service was awesome. we will be back soon.

The best thing about Desi Cooks is its prices While checking the menu I didn't felt that I am sitting inside a restaurant with such a nice ambiance.
Ambience: It's small but well designed with proper lighting.
Food: Dal makhni was the best in the main course, kadhai paneer was fine.
What I didn't like in there is Manchurian I felt that it was Stale.
Overall, It was a fine experience.

The package desi cooks delivered to me is around 5 inch x 8 inchx 1.25 inch. Which is a very less quantity for 380 bucks. They have mentioned quantity in Full and half and delivering in portion. After talking tk the manager thay are also offering discount in next order. #DesiCrooks #lootincovid.

food from desi cooks is always great, ordered channa masala, chicken biryani and alloo-gobhi. while channa masala and biryani were excellent but aloo gobhi was all aloo and practically no gobhi which was a kind of least expected from desi cooks going by my past experience which has always been quite good. i would suggest them not to be complescent and keep the standards high

So I started of with them by ordering Steamed chicken momos. Every time I ordered it was just great. Right from the taste, quantity, presentation, packaging, everything. The most important stuff for momos is the sauce. It has to be spicy yet flavourful. Their sauce is exactly that. Just love it. <br/>I have had their hot and sour soup and Chicken garlic noodles as well. They were also good.<br/>Please keep it up.<br/>One suggestion. Please add Tandoori momos to your menu. I am a big fan of that as well. Please add.

Nice place to eat at VIP road where quality is good and rates are reasonable. I have been a regular of their soups which I order online mostly and they always taste great. Today when I visited with family and ordered my regular veg and chicken manchow soup I was disappointed as they were very heavy on cornflour which wasn't letting the taste come through. However when I complained they changed all soups to my liking and they were at their regular best again.<br/>I have tried their roasted chicken, chicken tikkas before and they are great always.

I'd give this place a 3.5 mainly because the food is very good and it actually worth the price you pay for it. I have tried this place many times and I personally love the Paneer naan with Gravy, The American Chopsuey and the Tandoori Chicken. Have eaten at their outlet and have ordered in too. The reason for a less rating is inconsistencies in flavours. What you taste today is definitely going to taste different the next time you have it. This is a very big let down for me. My last experience here wasn't too appetising either when we received overly oily noodles which was a let down. I hope to order from here again and I really hope they can maintain their quality standards and make their food consistent in flavours.

Ordered from desi cooks last night and was quite happy with my order.Though it was raining still got my order on time here in dhakoli (Thanks to zomato) Talking about the food it was warm but not hot and I loved the packaging, quality and quantity 😊 But they didn't send any cutlery..The prices are decent and similar to their competitors.. Very few people know the art of serving right and preparing authentic Chinese..Fortunately desi cooks is one of them ...But noodles could have been better.. Overall I had an amazing experience and my dinner was sorted.

Ordered from Desi Cooks while we were staying at Chandigarh (Regenta). The food was delivered on time (thanks to Zomato) and was still warm, if not hot. The food was packaged well and didn't leak/mess up. Coming to the food, the Honey chilli potatoes were delicious and had us wanting for more, however the fries didn't seem freshly made and were quite soggy. If we get a chance to try this place again, will definitely avoid the fries and will go for something else.

Last time i went to desi cooks with my friend and i ordered 1chicken momos and 1kadai chicken. Momos is over steamed then i ask them to change. And chicken pieces in kadai.chicken are RAW. So its better not to go and spoil your money.

I was a big fan of desi cooks and also always recommended it to my friends and family. And today they have showed their worst part on delivery service that they serve hair in Tangadi Kabab. I called them up and told them that me and my family has finished the kbabs already and I kept one for my sister In that particular piece it a piece of long hair was also sticked inside and just after that my sister started vomiting.
