Review Gurpal Bakers - Zirakpur

Just went today to enquire about a birthday cake. The person at the counter(might be the owner not sure) was very helpful. He did explain about the cakes & the design we wanted. Satisfied with his words. Just that they don't deliver, need to pick it up. Rest everything from price to design were fine. Will upload the pics when I get my cake. Took rest of the birthday decoration materials from here. Even tried chaap,samose, Pattie recently & found it tasty. Took another cake & loved it.

Fantastic bakery.... Baker biscuits and other items very delicious and hygeinic. Apart from this, excellent super market. Almost everything available here. Must go to place who is fond of bakery items ...Quality Family General Store .. Especially Owner n Staff are very Professional and Cordial...!!

To be honest, food here is good from cheese cake jars to Pasta. Love the fact that now they have a sitting area in the basement!

the chowmein that i ordered had no veggies ... it was i like i had to find capsicum and other veggies in the dish... it was not what chowmein is supposed to be..

We visited this outlet on 19 June and must say it was heavily rushed and no Covid-19 protection protocols were implemented. No one was wearing masks or gloves properly. We bought 10 samosas for a party which costed us 120 inr which is very economical price but environment their was not upto mark. It can be systemized and improved.<br/><br/>We ordered again through Zomato today. Cream roll was out of stock so they sent me pastries but they were in too bad shape. Burger was wrapped with plastic and only spring roll were okayish.<br/><br/>This was a final trial. Never ordering from them again.

Pasta was delicious 🤤💯. Must try once if you are passing through vip road, zirakpur.

By far had good pastries in the area. Tried their patty and rolls also it Was worth a try.

Good hub for all kinds of veg snacks. Their samosa is one of the best served in VIP road. The Pani Puri and Aloo Tikki very average. The Hakka Noodles are really good and kids love them. Just perfect for the little ones. Also the store has a large variety of other veg snacks, live food counters, chaaps and various farsan. Overall a great store and good food quality .

Today I order pav bhaji and aloo patiz from them and delivery boy delivered totally leaked package. I Immediately scold the delivery boy and asked for refund but he replied it was a fault from Gurpal they didnt tied it with tape.  please raise complaint on chat support you will get full refund.<br/><br/>Chat support provided a ridiculous reply or solution by saying that we will provide a 27% discount on next order. Isn't it ridiculous when we are already getting 30% discount on the app.<br/><br/>That means If I repeat the order I have to pay exactly same amount once again.<br/>I also called Gurupal they said we are calling you back in 2 minutes with solution but till now no call received.<br/><br/>Are we fool or is it written fool on our  fore·head? I lost my whole money and the package thrown to dustbin.

There bakery items are really good, fresh and delicious. Also reasonably priced for the quantity. But their chaat section needs lot of improvement. Options are many but i have tried tandoori momos, tikki, papri chaat and their chaap but did not like any of these. Hope they raise their chaat standards as well!

Ordered 5 samosa. Turned out to be stale, tasting sour and unpalatable. Do something please. It was very embarrassing to ask guests to stop eating this

I ordered burger and jalebi. Burgers were top class, veggies overloaded loved them. Jalebis were good in taste but the packaging was terrific. They really need to work on that. Anyhow taste wise they were amazing and would totally recommend.

We just ordered noodles, spring roll and french fries. Quantity of noodles was very very less as compared to our previous orders. They have even not followed cooking instructions. Very disappointing.

All the items are amazing at gurpal'd specially i love their aloo tikki and chaaps (soya chaap and malai chaap) . Nice place to have evening snacks

The quality of samosa was great, and were served hot but filling was too salty and the shell didn’t have any salt at all. Some of the atta gol gappa puri weren’t crunchy, but suji ones were okay.

Quantity problem i have eat this dish many times from gurpal bakers, i have ordered the full dish bt the quantity is not full, its almost half

Good place for fast food, bakery and cakes. The tandoori momo is a must have of this place. They have a outside sitting area. A nice place to hangout in the evening in the VIP market area.

This Vege Manchurian very poor quality. There is a smell in the food, I do not know how many days people sell this. This is vry vry bad food

I had ordered number of times from this place, specifically Bhalla chaat, however why i had given 3 marks, coz of recent orders very ordinary with taste and also quantity was less compare to previous orders. Same is the case for Tikki chaat. Not sure if this is due to online orders but ll go n check on shop n ll see the difference.

Our family has been ordering quite frequently from gurpal bakers from the past year and a half. Their chat items plus samosa and chutneys . Packaging , delivery everthing is to the point of good satisfactory food. Also hygiene and taste is great. <br/>

Service not good but food is awesome . Making time is very long . Its food is good , once i ordered food the delivery man was little confused i hope this will never be done again

Well, I have been to this place so many times. Chaat is very good. Cakes are good. Hygiene is good. Jalebi is awesome(bit expensive but hey they are made in desi ghee). Cakes are good. Overall a good place to hang out with family.

if you want cakes, pastries, they serve good, but they need to put little bit attention into hygiene, rest snacks like Gol Gappe, aloo tikki is very good, Noodels is very spicy to eat.

I will condemn the products they provide. I had ordered cake for my niece one day earlier. It was expected to be delivered on 4 pm and it was delivered by 5. Secondly the quality of products are very bad. There was no fruit at all in fresh fruit cake. It was complete bread with cream. Ph 9560005220

I ordered samosa and dahi bhalla via online order. Samosa was good acc to price but dahi bhallas were without salt and bhallas were not properly fried they were raw inside. I will think before ordering again from this place. Dahi bhalla was total waste of money.

The food quality and preparation is very poor. Poor quality of oil is using by them. They only care about profit not customer's health. Will not recommend anything to buy from them. Very very poor and pathetic food. They dont have skills and etiquettes to prepare food.

I usually order food after seeing the reviews and rating of the restaurant this time I was proved wrong because the kind of food I got was not even healthy to eat forget the taste..So ordered a plate of cholle bhature from here the cholle or we can say the chaana was too bad ..The whole cholle were dripping in oil. Infact all we could taste and see was the amount of excess oil no gravy very less actual chaane present..Giving two stars only for the bhaturas , pickle and the onions we got with the order..The whole wanting of the cholle bhature was a very bad experience for me personally..

Had this yummyy spicy chowmein and pav bhajiii at gurpal bakers ... pav bhaji and chowmein are good though the cKe was not that fresh and tasted weird ..but that was a one tym issue they did improved when the issue was reported.

Great food ordered chow mein and only place in Zirakpur which serves samosas and other product of bakery at attractive prices they revived my childhood memories

Pathetic experience...<br/>Bought 1 kg Pineapple cake on 5th Oct'17 night @09.30 pm and re-stored in fridge within 15 minutes.<br/>Post cake cutting ceremony @ 12 midnight when we tried...it tasted so bad and seems old stock.<br/>We had to throw the entire cake in dustbin and went to Delhi next morning.<br/>We came on 10th Oct'17 and in evening went to cake shop to express our displeasure, but in place of listening to us the cake shop owner got into an argument.<br/>It was a very bad experience and going to rate ZERO in customer handling and behaviour.<br/>Request you all to pls avoid buying cake from such a shop where the owner doesn't know how to speak with customers and even selling old stock bakery products.<br/>Anil Dagar<br/>9811967234

As far as ordering cake is concerned it can be surely considered but rest meals are not so mouth watering .Both pav bhaji and noodles were disappointing.

Primarily a baker shop, has a decent variety of pastries, cakes and baked snacks, its a nice small place to have Desi snacks and chaat as well, their gol guppas are very good.

The pastries looked amazing..<br/>Box opened and one spoonful of pastry..<br/>It was like jellied toothpaste..very uniquely horrible confectionery.<br/>Couldn't dare to try out anything more.

The quality of almost all their bakery items seems to be in question. Their pastries and cakes are often found high on its sweet content. Their breads and other cakes are not good as compared to what u get at other bakeries.

Brilliant taste of all breads and bakery items.. Cakes are really well prepared especially fruit cakes. Would rather say its one of the finest bakery in the area.

The quality of breads and other bakery stuff was brilliant when this bakery had started. It seems to be degrading through the course of time. I had suggested this bakery to friend of mine, he also came to same conclusion that earlier they used to have fresh stuff whereas now they have old stuff which does not give that fresh taste which it should have.

This the cutest , most awesome bakery in zirakpur! <br/>It has amazing muffins and cakes and pastries and puddings! My favorite being black forest! <br/>They have these cute choco chip muffins which are too die for! They have also introduced red velvet muffin which is different and good! <br/>Do try their pies and donuts if that's what u like ! Other than these they have quick snacks like hot dogs, sandwiches , rolls etc . all pur veg. Even their cakes etc are purely veg. They don't use egg. <br/>Try Italian roll and pizza roll. They keep usual grocery items like chakkli , diet chips too.
