Review Katani Sweets & Restaurant - Zirakpur

Visited again today , Excellent buffet with new varites . All are very tasty and hygenic. Today's we had special panner and chole which was very tasty. Nominal price buffet , a small suggestion that a sweet can be added at the last by increasing a little amount.other wise worth for arranging parties.

Punjabi Chulha at Paras town square Mall 1st Floor zirakpur. The ambience is very good. Food is delicious Buffer @170/- Service is good Accepting UPI payment Seating plan is good.

This is my often visit food joint. I like their small veg lunch buffet and I often call my friends, business associates here for meetings with lunch. Quality is good and food is tasty. Service is also prompt and I reCommend this food joint to try once....

I’ve been to this restaurant with my family, and it was great experience having lunch there. Main course was amazing and desert was more tasty . if you want to have a good time then Punjabi Chulha is the best place i wll prefer to go there .

We went here today but the buffet was stale and very low quality .Even the chapati was not fresh and they just heated an old one again to serve us. Everything was pathetic . The condition was same as the last time we went , no improvements . Highly disappointed . Its not even worth one star<br/>The 30 sector Chandigarh branch is way better than that as they have good quality buffet with fresh food for same price. We went here only because it was near to our location .

I tired buffet at night on a Sunday this month . Dal sabji Roti all punjabi things are super but pastas and noodles sucks very bad n a large amount of salt and pepper in Manchurian gravy uff. Pls change your Chinese chef. He is putting down the food quality. Buffet must be rocking but I found mistake by maker. Humble request to owner to taste all items before serving. I have eaten at this place tons of time and like how fast they make the food and put it on ur table, very quick service with quality and value of money. All there food items have less oil and very healthy to eat.

Food is good only if you order from menu.<br/>But don't get fascinated with low budget buffet as it's worthless. Buffet is more like a substandard Wedding Caterer's Food. Quality is not close to what you get on special order.<br/>So, just one suggestion just fine in for food you want to order. That's really good.

Very easily can be avoided, Pasta in buffet was too dry to be eaten and food is only ok. The name of 3b2 katanis are too good to visit here but the preparation isn't

I trust the quality of katani's food as I have visited more than 100 times in their Mohali outlets.<br/><br/>So I ordered 3 Masala dosa from this Katani. They look good in pictures only but the stuffing inside dosa was bitter enough to destroy your mouth taste.<br/><br/>Now come to coconut chutney it was just ok not soo good not bad. But sambar was worst thing of the meal.<br/><br/>I have eaten dosa at more than 50 vendors so I know the how sambar taste and this was my worst experience with dosa.

the quality of food is not good. buffet is not worth for money .water is also payable..I have katani Dhaba in Panchkula sector 14 many time they are providing buffet in only 139 with verity of dishes but this place is totaly opposite. wastage of money and time.

Most economical and good food that satisfies your taste buds in such a nominal cost. If you are looking for a great food at a nominal price at Zirakpur then this place is the best. The staff and specially the manager is very polite. Best place for family and kids.

A dinner buffet at Rs. 150 was a bit of a shock. Clean Tasty Vegetarian food and finished off with a Hot gulab jamun. Service was great and although the place is small yet it is worth a visit.

Katani is a small restaurant (Dhaba) at Paras Downtown Mall Zirakpur having a decent sitting space. Prices are very budgeted and the food is really good. Tried their special thalli and fresh lime. Thalli was definitely good for 2 with a decent diet. Fresh lime was below average. Overall ambience isn't impressive but good place to have good food once in a while.

Have visited this place a number of times. In the starting it used to be really good. Then slowly the quality started to go down. To be frank the cost of buffet is quite economical and the people who are complaining so much should also remember this. But yes, the managment should really improve the food quality and listen to the complaints of the visitors.

I have been to katani's in 3B2 in mohali, they serve delicious food..but this outlet is just the opposite to that......awful food, bad service and no scope of improvement as the manager I think only cares for money and he won't bother if the customer is complaining...well if anybody wants to taste the baddest pav bhaji and oldest pastries, please do visit this place.. and for foodie's, please stay away from this place.. otherwise it will be very difficult to forget such an awful experience..just like me..😒

The ambience is good but the only thing that matter to me is food which in here is one of the worst..I am a foodie and I have been to katani sweets in mohali where the food is awesome, so keeping in mind that delicious experience I came here but all I got is an awful experience...pastries were like 100 years old and instead of replacing it, the staff kept on telling us that it's fresh..and even charged for that..it's name should be changed from katani to keetanu ( which I think were there on the pastry)..all in all not recommend to anyone...

Worst experience ever..food is awful and they won't accept that if you tell them..also they don't keep fresh items like pastries..and they don't even bother to replace the food if it does not taste good or is fresh..and pretty unhygienic too....I don't know how they are surviving at that place with such a bad quality of food and service.....awful experience

Pocket friendly! Tasty! Yummy! Great taste at less price. But they do have some hygeine issues which they really need to resolve at the earliest to maintain their regular customers..

Dal makhni<br/>6.chowmien<br/>7.manchurian gravy<br/>8.kadhai paneer<br/>9.seasonal veg<br/>10 seasonal veg<br/>11 Curd/Raita<br/>Salads<br/>Variety of breads. <br/><br/>Food was tasty worth enjoying that too in Just ₹150 inclv taxes. <br/>Few things to improve<br/>Should provide bowls with plates for gravy items. <br/>Must n importantly provide simple basic water free of cost (as per gov. Policy for restaurants). They only provide mineral water bottles chargeable. <br/>Secondly must work upon sitting arrangements as felt congested....

Worst experience!.cheese nan was good but..dis time i ordered pav bhaji instead of the regular buffet but it turned out as a complete disaster.first time there was no salt or any spice in it &when the waiter took it to make the changes he bought it back (he agreed there was no salt etc.)with only salt and to make things worse with a dollop of ghee...who in the world adds ghee to pav bhaji.when i reported it to manager he said "sir mereko 1and half year ho gaya lekin aap pehle customer ho jo complaint kar raha hai..phase 3B2 outlet is very good but this outlet is pathetic and rude manager to make it worse.

Have been at Katani but seriously they need to understand customer choice and taste, as per their lines they are not responsible for any sealed which is being served in outlet and more over they need to get hospitality basics from some well hotelier or trainer and should also know its not easy to make customer happy. Food taste is very good and service is pathetic THEY NEED TO WORK ! N polite

Decent buffet at economical price with enough variety. Menu included pasta salad, raita, dahi bhalle, noodles-Manchurian, daal makkhni, paneer, chane, plain rice, fried rice, roti, lachcha paratha, papad @120/- <br/>Would love to try again on a different day with a different menu.

Decent food at a very economical price, nothing too extravagant. Both the veg thali and buffet are of good quality at a very reasonable price. Frankly it's the best place to have a simple meal with your family in Zirakpur.

I once visited this place ..had a dinner buffet and the price was also not bad. The food was also tasty . It is usually crowded on weekends , and it has a nice ambience but its costumer service is not that good...its rather fine.

Bad service,,, tasteless things,,, won't prefer for another meal,, person serving poorly,,, for example one waiter having 6 chapatti n have to serve 6 ppl 3+3 on 2 tables,, waiter serves 6 on one table only,,,

Katani is a brand famous for its cheap buffet. However, don't expect very good quality food. None of the starters or deserts are served, it is just the main course meal you can enjoy. Cleanliness and music is good. Service is average.

We ordered buffet and it was like cheap dhaba with no ambience and hospitality what so ever..u order water they bring u bottle but not the glasses my friend..u again have to order glasses twice to drink it..they dont bother asking if u would like to hve somethin else or u r happy with food..u would have to search google for finding cheese in shahi paneer..i know its the least price for a buffet but still cx expects better hospitality and manners..we wouldnt mind paying a little extra but this rest. Surely needs to improve

Excellent Vegetarian Food restaurant in Zirakpur.  Buffet dinner was just Rs 113 and the foods served were really delicious  . Paneer Butter Masala/ Butter Naan and rajma were too good . It would be better , If they can provide a wash bowl within the restaurant and for sure they can hike the buffet dinner cost and provide a mineral water with desserts.

Average food and service. i.e you will find more gravy in their Daal's. Pathetic seating arrangements. Staff is unsupportive n arrogant and last but not least you have to buy water for extra money apart from food.<br/>          In my view one can not run the restaurant only by Installing the AC. and nice interior. Service should be top of the agenda to satisfy the customers.

Great place for cheap, good Indian food in A/C environment. It is a neat clean place where you get Indian Buffet food. You have 4 main course items with one paneer item in it, rice, dahi and sorted indian breads. I liked their butter naans alot. One thing they donot give is water. So either you buy water from them or donot have it :). Service once they get into hang is fine otherwise can be improved but I think the kind of rush they have they seem not ready for it so may improve in future.<br/>Overall a great place to have unlimited tasty Indian food. The food quality and taste is very nice. In this mall I must say this is the best place to have some good food.<br/><br/>Keep it up.

After a tire-full shopping if one gets a stomach full good food and that also @99 in Chandigarh its like a dream. Hats off to Katani Dhabha at Paras downtowm  as this had exactly happened to us yesterday after we finished our shopping. The food was very nice especially the black lentis and paneer dish. We will definitely go again there when ever we will go shopping. for me its not even half point less. However there is only one bad thing they never served water hence had to buy a bottle but no regrets for that as they charged it on market rate only i.e. Rs 20/-

Nice place to dine in after long wait in down town. Indian food was missed here. Katani Sweets and Restaaurants has gifted us essence of Indian food. Food is good, we tried south indian food too. Dosa was also awesome, besides their authentic North Indian food. And at the last if u check out rates, you will be astonished to know that full meal buffet is at Rs.99/- only. Awesome place.

went in after reading the board of buffet lunch @ rs 99.but was really surprised to see the quality of food it was really nice.JUST IMAZINE TO have lunch in a mall that too for rs 99 in a city like chandigarh with dal , kari pakora,paneer dish,raita buttur nan &....its really fantastic.if you ever visit this mall you must visit this place . GREAT JOB & GREAT SERVICE KATANI .

Awesome rate,tasty food,easy on pocket,very nominal prices.and to enjoy go for their buffet only for 99/- and enjoy unlimited food which tingles your taste buds.And their service is very fast and excellent.

Fantastic, nice clean food at dirt cheap prices. Went at the mall for some shopping with friends and saw the board for Rs 99 buffet. Decided to go and have a try and were amazingly surprised at the spread. For Rs. 114 ( including taxes) you get 3 types of salads, pulao, 4 main course dishes, raita and 4 types of breads in nice clean air conditioned environment. Couldn't ask for more at such a price. Kudos to katani sweets .

Lunch buffet in 99 ... OH MY GOD...Went in with least expectations...but glad i dis so.<br/>Its a steal deal...value for money...awesome food...and awesome price...

I was just roaming in Paras downtown and saw this restaurant.. I was very hungry and wanted to have filling food. Must say the restaurant is very hygienic and serves tasty food at very affordable prices.. The badam milk tastes yummy... Must try :) all in all a good experience that makes you wanna go there again....
