Review Dostea Cafe - Agra

The place is peaceful and the food was great. We got chatting with the owners who were so friendly and gave us helpful tips for the rest of our trip. Came back 3 times. It was our favourite place in Agra (except for maybe the taj mahal).

I love this cafe. I have been going here for well over a year now and not only is it in a great location, but the ambience and food make it a nice stop after a visit to the Taj. Long shaded tables and a garden setting, make this a calm respite in bustling Agra.Light jazz music plays, while you are served great beverages (everything from coffee and chai to lassi and shakes and juices). They also have a nice selection of Indian street food favourites that they cook outside on the grill - authentic tasting and yummy.

A cozy little restaurant right outside the Taj park entrance. We were hungry after walking in the park and sat down here which we do not regret. Nice staff, and very nice food. There is a grill out in the open where they prepare food in a very traditional way (they say and I believe them, because it tasted very good). We tried one of the sweet specialties and one thali plate with everything. The price was also good (quite cheep in my opinion) considering it was so close to the Taj Mahal.

A perfect place to hangout with your friends and family. Service is great. Food is delicious. Owners of this place are really friendly and accommodating. The place is at 2 minutes walk from taj mahal. The prices are reasonable. Both outdoor and indoor seating is available. Had an amazing experience. You must definitely go to this place if you are visiting Agra.

Visited with my wife & kids and was surprised to have such delicious Indian food....both my kids loved the food as the chef cooked it according to our less spicy request.Quality is very good and prices are Indian. I recommend to go there! Relaxed and calm atmosphere.

Went to this cafe / restaurant after visiting the beautiful Taj Mahal ..it is just a walk away from the East gate of Taj. .lovely open Garden sitting with an option to sit inside..it's peaceful and we spend almost more than an hour trying a variety of food And drinks. Everything was delicious and tasted like home cooked . I myself tried ..mung daal cheela, aloo tikki And chocolate brownie .and all were amazing ...never expected such stuff at a tourist spot ..but this place was definitely a pleasant surprise just ..be there if you are visiting the Taj!

I went to Agra with my family and a friend from Germany. On my way to Taj Mahal, I saw this restaurant just opposite to Taj Nature Walk and 200 meters before the east gate of Taj Mahal. The food was amazing and the ambiance was like a European cafe. The restaurant serves Indian breakfast and continental as well. After visiting the Taj Mahal, I went to this restaurant again to have something and I found that they also server Indian Thali.Everything is served and made with perfection. The staff is nice and coordial. The best part is that it is very close to Taj Mahal and just opposite to Taj Nature walk

I visited Agra in December with my gang. After seeing Taj we wanted to relax and have some tea. Came across Dostea cafe and were not dissappointed by our choice , the variety of tea, coffee with mouth watering and finger licking Agra special Chaat and deserts which they served us was out of the world. I would recommend people looking for Agra delicacies to visit this cafe especially if you are visiting Taj via East Gate Road.

My family and I had dinner here this evening and it was INCREDIBLE – some of the best Indian food we've ever eaten. The thali was delicious and we also tried a couple of items from the special Holi menu, which were exceptional. The lassis were also amazing. Highly receommeded!!

The hosts at Dost Tea are amazing and add a personal touch to your visit to Agra by telling you about the city and the many things that you will not otherwise find out. The teas and coffees and great and so are the paranthas. A must visit to catch your breath while you tour the bustling city - this place will provide the serene touch to your senses.

Visited thrice in my two-day stay in Agra. There’s something about this place that is cool to the eye even when it is sweltering outside. The vibe is laidback, all requests accommodated by owners who could well have ‘hospitality’ as their middle name! Will go back and also highly recommend puri-subzi, special tea, pakoras and paranthas.
