Review Chapter1 - Agra

Have been to Chapter1 cafe umpteen number of times. The place is great with good ambience and nice music and recently they have renovated the rooftop and it has come up really well and looks really inviting. The cafe is basically divided into two floors, one is a rooftop with few sofas and chairs and the other section is an enclosed one where a DJ plays some cool music from his laptop. The rooftop is simpler and well designed they have a big projected screen with Tata sky where they mostly play sports channel which is apt as a cafe should be playing. Coming to the food and drinks, we have had most of the stuff that they have to offer in vegetarian. (As I'm a Teetotaller) There tikkas are very good both veg and non veg, KitKat shake, Oreo shake, caramel chocolate cold coffee are all must try's, Quesadillas and fajitas are awesome. They have amazing Burgers and recently they have launched there new menu which is very well balanced and have introduced some amazing moctails too. Some of the must try from the new menu is Cheese burst Pao Bhaji, Quinoa ke kabab, curry marrinated black burger, Veg loaded pizza, paneer Tikka, veg money bag. Also they serve some very good Mughlai dishes if one is in mood for Indian food. Chapter 1 cafe has been the trend setter's when it comes to the cafe culture in the city of Taj and they continue to impress with the food and ambience still after so many cafes been launched in recent times . The ambience almost instantaneously takes you down the memory lane back to college days. If in Agra and you wanna have Italian/ conti/ seekhs then definily Chap1 is the place to be. Also they serve Good Hukkas if you wanna chill and sit for long house it's a perfect place. The Average price for 2 would be 1200 INR without alcohol. All in all its a must visit and still feel very refreshing when you visit them. It's an absolutely must visit and a continuous fine chapter in the food segment here in Agra.

Just loved it place. I'm never gonna forget the time spent at this place. The cafe is the best along with the drinks served here. The music played in the cafe is just so amazing and goes well with the drinks. I was looking for several brands of vodka and rum, but couldn't get them anywhere else but at this place. The rooftop is just perfect for spending time in the evening and late nights.

Oh.!! I totally love this place. The rooftop place is best to be enjoyed after the sunset. They have amazing water sprinklers not make you wet but help you to stay cool in summers. I found the shakes very good as well as the Italian dishes. Its a must visit. very lively and amazing to hangout with friends.

Perfect place for a family gathering or with couple of friends. Food quality was good and with lots of Indian options along with a few dishes covering other cuisine. Roof top has a very nice view and is perfect place for friends reunion..overall had very nice time having drinks and dinner.

A bit pricey for the food they do, ordered fish n chips which were just fine not that great. But really like the concept of live barbequeing and the set-up done with those tables. Nice place to hangout in Agra as this city doesn't really offers a lot of choices in good cafe's... One should give it a try for sure, nice place to evening in evenings at the rooftop !

Great place for Italian food! This may well be the best option available in Agra for the kind of food it serves. The quirky ambiance and amazing food go pretty well. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Agra (or living there, for that matter!) especially if you get a craving for good Continental food :)

One of the most exciting place in Agra for having fun with your friends & family. Situated on Fatehabad Road, this place is mostly filled with happening peoples. Interior is super cool. Pricing is average. Lots of option in drinks(Hard & Soft) My personal favourite is pasta, one must try.

It is one of those first cafe's which opened in Agra.😊<br/>Recently they renovated their interior and it is one of the prettiest i have seen 😁.<br/>But the best part of this place is their Tacos and Main course. They serve the best main course for a place of mid range cafes.<br/>My absolute favorite was Butter Paneer Masala.<br/>

A disappointed person who spent 700 hoping to enjoy a good meal can not be friendly yeah but politely I am saying you to please add some taste in these dishes.

The spaghetti pasta is my ultimate favourite. Flavours are unique and of high standard. I keep re-ordering various flavours like Arrabiata, Pomodoro, Alfredo, etc.

Very good food - our best experience in Agra. We ordered makhani Maggi, pasta arrabiata, chicken and veg biryani, chilli chicken and grilled fish in banana leaf. The chicken and fish were perfectly cooked and the food was flavoursome and light. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Agra - don’t let the location outside deter you from trying it. Also for people visiting in the winter, they have a really fun rooftop with a sneaky view of the Taj Mahal.

Visited after renovation, overall good experience , as always they maintain a good quality and taste for the food , tried Indian , dishes were good enough , cocktails are really good , but very less service staffs hence slow service .

The worst meal ever !<br/><br/>First the zomato guy dropped off food far from my location I had to go and collect it myself. Then the soup wasn’t really soup and looked like semisolid food. I have had the best of the best Khap sueys but this was the worst of them. Everywhere Khao suey’s accompaniments are Separate, it was unexpected. When you can’t prepare it for delivery then why do you keep it in your delivery menu. The dim sums weren’t also that great. I had requested for some pesto which they always give in the restaurant, that wasn’t there. <br/>Such a horrible experience. Won’t ever order.

Among the lounges in Agra it is the best and offers great food with the spectacular ambience and the roof top is something amazing at a decent price.

Visited chapter 1 after renovation for the first time. I was impressed by the new designing and the food as well. <br/>Didnt try much but the things i tried were good. The new menu is quite interesting and will visit soon to try other items as well.<br/>I tried cheesy pav bhaji and dahi ke sholey. <br/>Both items were good. The cheesy pav bhaji was extra cheesy ans very heavy but flavourful. <br/>Keep up the good work :)

I went to this place for dinner. We ordered tomato shorba and hot and sour soup. Both the soups were amazing.<br/>Next we ordered bruschetta and cheesy fries and our expectations were completely met. The starters were scrumptious.<br/>Lastly we ordered cheese burst pao bhaji and exotic pizza. I love pao bhaji and cheese and this combination was the best one I ever had. Everything about this place was good unless we opened the box of leftover pizza that we had asked to pack.<br/>So we had three slices of pizza which were to be packed and instead there was only one slice that was packed. It was my first bad experience with getting the leftover food packed from any restaurant. I was pretty disappointed to open the packet and never expected that such a good place can do something like this. I would have given a 4.5 rating had this not happened.

Been here for a sunday evening. The newly renovated rooftop and all new menu was a delight to watch. Ambience was really good, management was courteous and food was really tasty. Their alfredo cheese mushroom pasta and mutton biryani is a must have. Its a must visit place for party and mouth watering food.

We celebrated our Nye here, i expected more from this place because of the hype and a gem in agra as people told me.<br/>We ordered some drinks and dishes which were okay in taste but was disappointed with the band which was performing that night! Ambiance- Good<br/>Service- very slow. We had to wait for everything.<br/>Food- Veg platter ordered was average with the paneer tikka preparation was very poor. Looked to be not fresh at all. We even mentioned this to the person there but he was non-apologetic.<br/>Highly overpriced if you look at the quantity of the food.<br/>With other Cafe/lounges coming up in the city , this one has to work really hard on food and service quality.<br/>

Uninspiring, Demotivated Cafe. It once used to be THE only cafe with the roof top and an awesome presence. With newer and much posh cafes and rooftops opening at a frequent pace this place has taken a hit.<br/><br/>You would hardly find crowd here except for weekends. The Service has become extremely sluggish and uninterested. Food Taste has degraded over the time. I still go there and would continue to go there.

This Agra restaurant serves good food, the biryani presentation was unique, so was the taste, chicken very tender, full marks, chhole kulcha was comparable to the best, fajitas excellent, rhythm mocktail was a mix of tangyness with a hint of sweetness, nice ambience, we felt very relaxed and wanted to stay for a long time, will go again to this restaurant whenever in Agra, their Chefs deserve lot of pats on their back, hope the Management is taking a note of it.

We went there last weekend during the afternoon time, It was almost empty with 2-3 tables occupied. Talking about the ambience, the decor was fine, however the menu card and the cutlery seemed old and chapped, needed maintenence... We ordered masala fries mocktails and a pizza.. i was fairly disappointed with the masala fries.. those were very cold, seemed like were prepared and kept for minutes before serving to us. I requested them to replace or atleast heat them, to which we were then served soggy heated fries.. The only saving grace was the pizza whiich was decent enough.<br/><br/>I feel the attitude of the servers were also not at all pleasing. Rather than accepting their mistake and replacing the dish.. he was giving reasons that reheating will make it soggy.. The service in general was not qucik which i fail to understand with such less number of tables occupied..what were so many servers doing... i am giving 2 stars only for the pizza

Everything about this place is really good, right from the food to the ambience. It is a perfect place to visit with friends and family. I would like to visit it again and try more delicacies.

This place has no variety in food.The taste of food and mocktail is also bad with high prices, not recommend to anyone. Ambience is not good at all.

Its a decent food joint. The ambience is of a relaxing lazy night but they got some live music going on which starts little late. One of the section was closed due to dripping water from the ceiling due to heavy rains 😝. We ordered some burgers, fries and dahi pakodas with some shakes. One of the major difference was the quantity of food. Hell lot of food it was. The burger was a huge juicy one served with fries and mayo. The dahi vada was very crisp from outside but melted the moment i put in my mouth. The chicken with fries was not that innovative. The fries were very well flavoured with probably peri peri masala but then the chicken lacked any taste and was probably only boiled which was later added to the fries it seemed. The overall presentation was good enough to make it look tempting. Worth giving a try!

In love with this place to be exact. This was the second time I visited and it did not fail to bring a smile on my face. Loved the bruschetta and cigars rolls I had today.

Amazing food, amazing variety and great service.<br/><br/>The restaurant was packed, as I have heard it usually is, now I am not surprised why.<br/><br/>Had a lot of LIIT s and mind blowing pasta, batter fried fish and dimsums.<br/><br/>I Highly recommend for a relaxing evening with cocktails and great food.

Though the food and ambience of the place is very good but as the day passes the service has become poor to worse of this place we have to wait nearly for an hour for food and then also they have forgotten to serve some of the items we have ordered

Chapter 1 is the best hangout place in Agra. I have had kitkat shake , paneer tikka , pink sauce pasta and various mocktails. On food i would say it 4/5 for ambience 4/5 , drinks and hukka 5/5. <br/>

i ordered pink sauce pasta which was how it was supposed to be not something very fancy or different the quantity was a little low i feel. . being a food blogger i have to take it very seriously to give honest reviews as much as i can. the prices are on a  bit higher side. it is one of those not so economical place but that's all ok if the food is great. the ambiance was really nice. impressed by the interiors. one time place to visit .

according to my exprience the food prices are too high in comparison of the quantity they serve though the taste is ok... mojitos are good but their hookah always disappoints me..

I think this is actually the best cafe in Agra, despite the several new cafes coming up. It has maintained the standard of the food and I've never been disappointed by the quality of food here. They actually serve amazing shakes and white sauce pasta. Would definitely suggest this place to everybody.

This little rooftop cafe in Agra was on my list while I was planning my stay in the city. We went there on a cold winter night and it felt very warm and cozy there, even at the rooftop. Apart from the regular seating, they have a place separately for two, which are swinging chair baskets- very cute, I must say and comfortable too! <br/>We ordered the cheese fries, which we had to return as the cheese on the fries was very liquid-y and tasted more like milk. The guy got us the garlic fries instead which too weren’t very impressive. The egg bruschetta was great, though and the drinks- Oreo Shake and Thy Sky were fine. <br/>

Great food: we had the Mexican Fajitas, Risotto and the chicken with fries. Best international food we had in India so far! <br/><br/>The furniture is cool and comfortable. The atmosphere is fine. You can sit outside on the roof top, but also indoor with big windows. <br/><br/>The waiter was friendly and helpful.

This place is not worth 3.9 at all. We ordered<br/>1. Basil pesto pasta which was just green coloured cream sauce pasta. <br/>2. Thy-sky mocktail, just blue coloured drink no kaffir lime, lemon or grape flavour. <br/>3. Parmesan chicken that had amul cheese slice on top and even after enquiring about the chicken (if it is roasted) they served fried chicken. <br/>4. Indian platter that was supposed to have mushroom tikka but instead we got spring rolls without any prior information.<br/>And the taste was also below average. <br/>Would never recommend this place to anyone. Please don't go here.

Undoubtedly one of the best cafes in Agra. The ambience is just lovely , it has both indoor dining which is beautifully designed with creative graffiti and is very peaceful and relaxing. The rooftop area is just perfect when going out with friends or a group of more than 4 people. When it comes to food pizzas and appetizers like kebab especially dahi ke kebab are amazing and the shakes are pretty good. The soups are average and pasta is not at all worth the money and all main course combo are made to almost perfection. A little expensive but worth every penny and a must go place with family , friends and couple

I like the ambience of the first floor but rooftop ambience was not good and please upload your menu here like others restraunts Otherwise all things are good

This place has nice ambiance but the quality of food is bad,No other way of putting it.we ordered honey chilli potatoes which was ok.Mezze platter was ordinary with miniscule serving of hummus and pita and their hummus was not restaurant made but packaged.Quesadilla was another disappointment. Finally please don't order Chicken with red wine sauce as the sauce they used was definitely not made with red wine and the chicken was dry and stale..All in all ,unless you are after Hucka,stay away from this place

I went here with my cousins. They have both type sitting facility enclosed and rooftop. We opted for rooftop because we want to have hookah. We ordered for overloaded cheese fries, mojito and white sauce pasta. To be very honest i didn’t like their fries because it was not that good. It was not a cheese sauce at all. It was just a normal bechamel sauce. Mojito was extremely sweet. Pasta was good and hookah also. Service was prompt and my overall experience was nice. If you really want to have good hookah for that you can go their.

This place is a breath of fresh air in Agra! We went to the Taj Mahal and were looking for a place that would suit both Indians and foreigners alike. The menu is great and there are cocktails, mocktails, alcholic beverages, soups, American / Italian / Mexican and Indian food available. Went there with a group of friends. Bad service. The staff is very inattentive. To get a can of coke they took 20 minutes. <br/>Food was bad. We ordered <br/>chicken wings which was stale<br/>Nachos where the so called cheese sauce was bad.<br/>Pizza was strictly ok<br/>Butter chicken was bland and tasteless<br/>This place is popular only because people do not have many options to hangout. <br/>The drinks and food are overpriced.<br/>

Chapter one as all know is the only best cafe in agra. It’s doing great and is very popular among teens. It was my first time there I really enjoyed it. Great place with great food. Chocolate fudge brownie shake was the best.

This place needs better signage. We knew there was an section with inside seating (AC) but when you walk up the stairs it takes you directly to the rooftop terrace. Great food. Service is lacking.

Never expected such a happening lounge in the heart of Agra. This is probably the only steampunk property with tapas style food. The stewards are well mannered. Though sheesha wasn't available due to some restriction.

I like infrastructure of cafe. Food is also tasty. Specially chinese food..! And drinks are also good. awesome view at rooftop area...! And one thing i really like that waste materials are used very unique style..!

This is some what a new place in Agra first kind of Cafe here. The food is good not great but ambience is good they have two floors one is ac hall and other is an open roof. The service is good. Overall a good start for Agra.

Chapter 1 cafe offers you a rooftop, nice music and beer. The ambience is nice,the color coordination of the furniture with turquoise cushions look really pretty but when it came to food it was slightly disappointing nit <br/><br/>We ordered a BBQ burger and penne arrabiata. Since it was around 4 they said they can't serve pizza and hookah is also discontinued. Amongst the two the pasta was definitely better.However I really think the chicken they used in burger and pasta was a little stale.<br/><br/>Well the bummer is that the place is pricey . Pricey in terms of quantity and quality they offer in terms of food. It's a good place to hangout though.<br/><br/>

It was a nice place...you have to wait for a while if you have ordered some thing...nice theme...but a bit expensive...but over all good place to hang out with friends...must visit 👍

Pathetic service. The waiters were not even listening to us.Food was very bad and quiet expensive as well, there were no discounts nothing. It was not even cleaned the washrooms were pathetic, floors were too. My first and last visit to the cafe maybe.

My fav place for sheesha in Agra! Food is amazing and really clean. Their service is attentive and friendly. Ambience and music is great and chill. Definitely recommend this place!

Chapter 1 cafe has definitely introduced Agra to a newer concept which is appreciable but I'm not happy with the food or beverages.<br/>I've been here twice and dissapointed with the taste both the time.<br/>The service is fast, sitting is good and the staff is welcoming as well . But the food quality needs to improve .

Presentation was absolutely fantabulous. All the cool things i could see all around the place. <br/>Very relaxing after visiting TajMahal or Red Fort.<br/>Food is also good. Service took lil time but it's not that bad. music makes it more relaxing.

Where would I have gone to if not for this place in Agra. They have a superb menu and amazing ambience. The rooftop space has added to it's already prevalent charm. One of the best places to chill out in Agra.

Really bad and sleepy service. Just look at state of menus. They are torn and in poor state. Lazy employees. <br/><br/>We ordered Alfredo pasta, arabita pasta, green apple monitor drinks. The drinks were served after everything. Really? <br/><br/>Arabita was like indian pasta - too spicy. Rest was good but really sleepy and bad service. <br/><br/>Ambience is good but really poor choice of trance songs. Low music volume. Make it little loud.

Lovely place and a much needed cafe in agra, where u can chill out with friends and family. The ambience is very nice but feels a lil over done at times as too much is happening in terms of decor. The food is really good and has a wide variety of options from snacking to proper dinning options. The cutlery and the way they serve the food is also creative. Over all a nice and creative place from their menu to the wall graffiti, the different use of furniture and the swing chair. A must visit place in Agra.
