Review Palato - All Day Dining - Agra

We had 4 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 3 dinners here. I was very surprised that they do not carry Agra petha in any of their buffets. But when I asked for it they got it from a store outside for us! It’s a spacious place, lot of options and some live counters for chat, pasta, dosa etc

It's a nice and big all day dining place with an Al fresco seating as well as indoor provision. Ambience is very nice and bright. The buffet layout and variety is just fine and I won't say it's the best. But the servers are always ready to make you happy by trying get dishes of your choice from the kitchen. We had an excellent Asian Meal ( Ala Carte) specially curated by Chef Palash and his team. The food was superb. Totally loved the Chicken soup and Shitake mushroom dish. Service is impeccable and overall we were quite happy with the food quality and taste.

Breakfast buffet : There is a huge selection for the breakfast. And for the pastry lovers lots to choose from. I thought the breakfast was extremely organized. Fast. Effective. You would not be waiting long for a table. I found the breakfast a little busy after 9am. Unfortunately for me I found the Lunch/Dinner in this restaurant very, very average. There was no food that stood out. The lamb shank I found chewy. Too much fat surrounding the bone and not enough meat. Though the presentation was fantastic. Best part for me was the pizza. The pizza was fresh, full of flavour, though the food didn’t live up to my expectations the staff Is incredible, kind, welcoming and friendly, Also I want to point out the restaurant manager is quite impressive. Pankja. I feel his name deserves a mention as I have not seen a restaurant manager work as well as him in a very long time. Pankja is exceptional. I sat and observed his work ethic and he is extremely observant, sharp, quick and has great attention to detail, constantly delegating tasks in a quick professional form. Pankja himself (was doing 10 jobs at once) he was seen to be cleaning tables, checking back to tables and taking customers in at the entrance desk during busy periods while also listening to customer issues and ensuring the needs of all customers in the restaurant were catered for. I did not see any staff member loitering around not doing tasks. It is clear there is an amazing service by a team led by an outstanding manager. I hope this information could be passed on to Pankja to be given the recognitions he deserves. Very impressive. So for this I will give 4 stars.

Amazing place for get together añd cqusal hang out. Very nice spread of buffet. We had pizza thin crust.. It was amazing.. So was pink pasta and Dal makhani was out of the world. Yougendra and his team's were absolutely incredible.. Kudos guys! Just one suggestion.. Chili flakes holder has smaller pores which was making it bit difficult to get sprinkled.. But rest all top notch 👍👍👍

We had our dinner and breakfast at this restaurant during our stay at the Hotel Taj and convention center and I must say everything was so near to perfect. Starting from the taste, the quantity, ambience and the service, everything was great. The prices are obviously on a higher side, being a 5 star hotel. A special mention to Mr. Sohib and Mr. Tulsi who took care of us at the restaurant. Keep up the good work👍🙏

The flavors were exquisite, combining unique ingredients and bold spices to create memorable culinary experiences. The service was prompt and attentive, with staff members who were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, providing a comfortable setting for a memorable dining experience.

Exactly what you expect out of a Taj Hotel restaurant, is Palato. The variety of food for breakfast was humongous. The food was really great. As we went there in September it was fairly a good time and all the COVID norms were met. We really like the fresh fruit counter and omelettes were definitely worth it. Even the dosas and idlii’s were yum.

Had a sumptuous lunch at Taj Convention’s - Palato. The food and ambience are really nice. The staff is excellent here. Look out for Aaraw, Tulsi, Shailendra and Giasuddin - they are brilliant. 👍

Amazing dinner specially the kadhai chicken was awesome and the service was fantastic we were served by Rittu and Jhony there service was great overall highly recommend!! 🥂😀

Great spread and truly yummy food, giving prominence to the Indian taste buds! Chefs Toophan and Rahul personally attend to all guests for feedback/requests.

Excellent place for buffet, exemplary service by Mr. Tulsi and other staff members including chefs. Great tasting mutton rara, chicken and fish fingers. Nice chicken soup and good salad options. Good option for both Vegetarian and non-vegetarians.

Had breakfast here during my stay at Taj hotel. Amazing food with a big spread. The food ranged from live dosa, eggs, and pancakes counters to delectable pastries. Adding to all this was the amazing service. Special thanks to Aarav who was our server and helped us navigate through the menu and told us about the various items on it.
