Nice ambience & tasty south indian meals at affordable price

Wel maintained family restaurent with South Indian speciality but serves North Indian meals as well, including two types are thali which are good. Had thali as well as dosa and found very tasty. Rate wise on little higher side, but sitting comfort and ambience very nice and peaceful, Service wise little slower, may be due to less no of customers during our visit. Hotel Dasprakash also situated in the same complex and uses the same restaurent for its customers.

Udupi, dasaprakash restaurant, is a great place to dine in. After a hectic day at the Taj Mahal and with hunger pangs at its peak, the food was truly appetizing and homely. The hospitality of the staff made us feel at home. Taste and spice level was just too perfect, that we were satisfied with the food. Our lunch was extraordinary. Thanks to all the staff who made our lunch time fantastic

Clean and nice restaurants with good food. The price is acceptable and good quality. They charge 5% service and gratitude fee together. It's quite and air conditioned, family friendly place. I recommend this resturant for anyone.

Good place to have South Indian food with good ambience and good service, but the prices are high.

Here you can get one of the best South Indian food in Agra. North Indian food is also there, but people love their speciality in south Indian food. Service is excellent and you will find fully hygiene and cleanliness there. Atmosphere is ambient and relaxing. Prices are high but looking into all the factors, it's worth a try.

Taste was good.<br/>We tried mysore Masala soda and Udupi special thali.<br/>We got lemon rice as special rice, it was good.<br/>But the quantity is less when compared to price.<br/>

I am a huge fan of south Indian and Udupi food but this restaurant was quite a disappointment. Half of the items mentioned in the menu were not available. South Indian cuisine is even famous for its chutneys... To our disappointment, this restaurant makes no other chutney than coconut chutney whereas even a roadside dhaba does tomato chutney and other chutneys... The food was average... We ordered idli sambhar, rava masala dosa and rasam... <br/><br/>There was no difference in the taste of rasam and sambhar... The only difference was that sambhar was a bit thicker in gravy than rasam... The worst was that their washrooms were right on the entrance even before entering the restaurant and they were stinking... The smell from the washroom was even lingering in the restaurant... Overall, a very bad experience...

Rotis<br/>6. Filter coffee<br/><br/>The dosa, vadas and utthapam were crispy, less oily and very tasty. Although i felt that Sambhar and Chutney could have been better.<br/><br/>Kadhai paneer and rotis were superb. the paneer and rotis were absolutely fresh and soft and didn't felt heavy.<br/><br/>The filter coffee was the best part. served in typical south indian way and was string enough to relieve our tiredness.<br/><br/>the service was good and the staff was polite.<br/>the ambience was decent,if not too good.<br/>recommended for quick bite

Worst experience in this restaurant.<br/>I went to this restaurant for takeaway some south Indian food and ordered 1) Masala dosa 2)Sambhar vada 3) Onion dosa 4) Rasam <br/>They take time for packing and when we had the food is not at all good but I can say it is worst <br/>Sambhar is not hot and it is when I told them to give me hot sambhar , dosa is also taste less so I can’t give less rating than this.<br/>Highly disappointed from service <br/>Not recommended at all

I had food today lunch in udupi, it's bad experience, iam totally upset, we come 16 member , they service is very bad , i think they are treat customer like begger.,so don't come again, my money is totally waste

We stopped for lunch after exploring Taj. The food was little spicy. South Indian (masala dosa, Mysore masala, plain dosa, idlly and vada) was good but North Indian Wada average. Good part was that they had tawa roti in Menu. Ambience is OK. Good place to have South Indian food.

The ambiance is good and service is decent. The food we ordered was quite different than we usually get everywhere else. But not bad, portions were little less than expected, but the taste was satisfactory.

One of the worst south indian hotel. Dont come here seeing the label udupi. Sambar was like water. Its like an ordinary hotel in kerala. The poori was not at all tasty. The qunatity of rice was less but the price was high.

Never go to this restaurant seeing it's name. It does say South Indian but it doesn't match that level at all. We ordered medu vada, a thali and sandwich. Vada was very sour and I mean it. The dough of puri was spoiled as I was able to taste that it's rotten/spoiled. I would not complain about sandwich but the price of sandwich is around 70 and there is no spread on it or any type of mayo as such. That's really unfair price listed in menu. I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. They are selling the name "UDIPI" and you might end up getting food poisoned
