One of the good place to have different types of khichdi with unique tadka for your appetite. Soothing ambiance and the place is perfectly created for family crowd or even if you're khichdi lover then you can simply go away with your friends too.
Khichdi - one of most simple yet amazing dish. Honestly, I have never seen such craze and varities of Khichdi other than Gujrat.
I have already tried different khichdi from Urban Khichdi but never reviewed. I have tried mostly bengali khichdi and Risotto. They were both awesome. I just felt bengali khichdi should not be that smoked as I am a bengali so I know it's not like that. Risotto was awesome with so much of cheese.
Day before yesterday I tried Vegetable Khichdi which was decent in Taste. I think there were only 3 veggies - peas, cauliflower and the last one I don't remember. The taste was decent. The side snack was all soft. I don't know may be because they sent it cold or something but that's okay atleast main dish was hot and good.

Ordered Urban Khichdi special chulha Khichdi. When you will open the meal, you will get strange smell and you might doubt about the taste of khichdi, but when you will put the first bite of this khichdi in mouth, you will literally feel the best of taste. It has perfect taste of chulha and has smoky flavour which makes the khichdi best of all. Must try this khichdi whenever you visit this place or order from there.

Recently visited this place in the evening. I was blown away by the varieties of Khichadi they have in their menu. It was really amazing experience to try various Khichadi. It was freshly made and tasty. They also have shravan special dishes for fast.
I have tried their palak corn Khichadi, Cheese butter masala Khichadi, sabudana Khichadi, sabudana vada, Mexican crockpot, pavbhaji inspired Khichadi, cheesy veggies basmati risotto, daal makhani Khichadi. And indian Khichadi sizzler is Must try here.

It's a great experience. The atmosphere is chill and cool with friendly staff which is a plus for our perfect family dinner. When I visit founder member of urban khichdi Mr. Meet is available there and got a chance to communicate with them. He is so passionate about his food and food quality. Very interesting person to meet. Conclusion is that I love this place and the surprisingly combination of perfection in terms of food, sevice, atmosphere, founder and ambiance.

I am someone who likes to experiment with food and the khichdis here are just perfect for that. Never knew even khichdi could taste like that ! Had a fantastic time here, the food indeed was something very different than we normally prefer, but definitely a must try !

Ambience, Food quality, Service, Staff... everything is nice ! The only downside is the quantity of food for the price ! So quality wise it's good but it's on the costlier side when you take quantity in consideration.
Best thing which was observed while entire visit was Staff. Staff and service was really excellent.
Variety of Khichdi were available. They are serving curd and two types of Achar (અથાણું) along with Khichadi.
I believe they need to increase quantity little bit.
