Starting from the Ambience it is lovely and it keeps you attracting there , Coming to the food best serving in Ahmedabad as of now. Its kind of live counter which comes to your table and serve it. They have a very nice innovative way to serve the food. Coming to cost now it is little bit high on cost. But atleast 1 time you should give it a try.

Want to experience something new? bored with old traditional taste and style. Come here, experience the different dishes. The restaurant has introduced innovative ways of presenting the food you may already have hundreds of time. They have all Veg, Non Veg, Jain, Swaminarayan Jain preparations. You may like or dislike the taste as it is personal, however, you will surely love the presentation and innovation. If you are looking for quantity of food, this may not be the place. You can go to any other restaurants in Ahmedabad.

A friend of mine just went there and said it is a wonderful place to be at. Ambience is Lovely. He quotes "It felt like I was in a Café in Goa". He had a wonderful time and I too will visit soon.

Loved the whole concept of nautanki it's surely drama on your plate . A wonderful amalgamation of culinary skills with brilliant taste. A experience one should not regret

Nice change from the regular, all the food was well prepared. The entire meal is served course wise and soul to dessert would take upwards for 90 mins.

Do you like 21st century culinary euphemisms like de-constructed food or molecular gastronomy? If yes then this place is for you. Very expensive but very unique as well. Do try if you feel like eating something "new".
Viral Jasubhai (Viralj)
Nice concept but even the thali places give bottled water at no extra charge and here you have to ask and pay extra. Really. Mr Patel please re think and improve.
Akshata Mukund
Amazing, inspired and inspirational food. It is difficult to "review" Nautanki, because it is unparalled. Today was my fourth visit...lookong forward to many many more.

Simply awesome! Hands down one of the best places in Ahmedabad!
Right from the ambience to the food, there is a certain quirkiness about Nautanki that hits the right spots. The ambience is very modern and elegant. The food is brilliant in both taste and presentation... the chef definitely does the extra bit. The place makes you feel special and has the right tastes and flavours.

Certainly worth more visits!
The cost is not as economical as one would like but the whole experience is certainly worth it.

Wow wow wow wow.....!!! Don't just go there to eat GO THERE to experience.....!!! Amazingly awesome 👏, heads of to the chef and his team. I am sure the place won't last in Ahmedabad as people are not use to the food they are serving. I don't have the words to express how good the food was, service was great, staffs very polite and helpful.
I m lost for words......!
I hope it's still there on my next visit.
Simply GREAT EXPERIENCE.

Only those items in fixed menu were available.. we àsked for Al u crarté ND were informed only paneer items ND hummus is available..Then what's the point of keeping the menu... Really disappointing...

You lost me even before I stepped into the restaurant. I had the same experience when I was trying to make a reservation at Mayan (which I heard has since closed down). Basically the worst type of service and attitude you can receive from just trying to call to make a reservation or to make some changes. I'm not even that upset that you had to cancel my reservation because your gas lines were supposedly damaged. You basically just decided to hang up on me and then spin a series excuses. Says a lot about what you can expect from a supposedly high-end, fine dining place which some say is a must-go for Ahmedabad. No thank you. You can take your attitude and shove it up yours.

Incredibile experience!!!!! Its awesome i never tested food like this before its very unique and main thing the way they r serving food and prepare food worth to visit....

Wana treat someone n make that person feel special.
This is the place. Probably best place to go for dates. Talking about food, it's innovative, classy and one of its kind. Serving and presentation top class. Full marks on ambience though they can work on cleanliness with table cloth n seats. I had 9 course meal. Starters were lip smacking, somewhat above average main coarse and smashing desert. I am a desert guy, so all is well that ends well. What hurts is obviously taxes and charges, but I don't the people visiting here would matter that. Overall great experience n that definitely a try for foodies.

The menu of the nautanki perfectly describe their name " Nautanki". I was mesmerised by their wide range of cusines in the menu. They also have fixed meal menu for lunch. We went there for a lunch. If you are going for the first time it is preferred to go with the fixed meal menu as we also went with that. They served 8 morden indian cusines with main course and dessert but with gastronomical twist and you will definitely love it. The best thing i love was a live jalebi ragda chaat and kind of pani-puri test in spoon. The dessert was delicious. They have uniqueness in menu, excellent service with description and beautifully designed interior. Outdoor seating is also beautiful. Definitely recommend to visit. Will visit soon for the different cusines.

Heard of it from a lot of people so thought we shoukd give it a try. The ambience was good and different and so was the food. We ordered one watermelon and papaya salad..the name was different dont remember though so in simple language it was yummy. We normally dont experiment with food so simple things were ordered. I tried a masala kulcha which was stuffed with sun dried tomatoes. It was awsome, a bit heavy but good. Missi roti is worth trying for.
Price is a bit on the higher side compared to other normal restaurants but hey, this is nautanki we are talking about so the food was worth the price.

Nautanki is one of the few places in ahmedabad that doesn't disappoint. It's the perfect headout for people who love to experiment with their food. They have great items on the menu, a lot of desi dishes with a 'gastronomical' twist, as they call it, to create an informidable dining experience!

During my last visit to Ahmadabad, i visited the place. I can say its the perfect blend of food and ambiance. The gastronomic stuffs are so well presented, anyone can die for it.

Met with their Chef, very talented and focused. He is very confident what is he doing. Love to visit the same again.

My bf planned a surprise for me at Nautanki on the occasion of my birthday. He had made reservations for a candle light dinner. The table was also decorated with rose petals. I’m not a very mushy girl by naTure, but these gestures just won my heart.
The staff welcomed us very warmly and made sure that we were comfortable. He had opted for the set-menu which was a whopping 9 course meal. Most of the dishes were their signature de-constructed style and they just kept raising the bar with every dish. My favorite dish was the – Zesty Chicken tikka. Who would have thought coriander chatni can come in a pipette, and that dried lemon when crushed can add 5 stars to an otherwise regular dish. Without a second thought this was the best chicken tikka I ever had. Other favorites were – dal cappuccino with fulkas (simple & classy), deconstructed samosa and the Andhra lamb chops. The food just kept coming in!!

After the main course, we decided to sit in their beautiful outside seating area for the dessert. It has a very romantic feel with beautiful lanterns surrounding you. The dessert we chose was – Éclair rasgulla. It ‘was out of this world’ tasty! Then came the last and the best surprise – a live dessert was made for me which had chocolate cakes at the base, on top of that a standing heart shaped chocolate which had – Happy Birthday written on it. The chef asked me to break the chocolate with a hammer, and when I did – there was a diamond ring inside !! Next thing he was on his knees, and said those words.. and the girl said – YESSSS!!

It was the best date we ever had, and we thank Nautanki for arranging it so beautifully for us. What is most surprising is that my bf (and now officially fiancé) lives in Dubai and all of this was done via emails.

Thanks a lot guys for making this so special. Highly recommend this place for the amazing food, service, ambience and staff. Also if you want to surprise your loved ones, they have amazing ideas for you!!

As far as the way this place is done up, this is probably the most interesting and pleasing interiors I've seen in any restaurant in this city. The combination of dimly and brightly illuminated areas has been really nicely done. I just felt that the chairs were a little uncomfortable, the iron was straining the back.
We started with sweet lassi which had really good texture blended perfectly and just the right amount of sweetness, well balanced, and on the other hand we had the flavor bombs gol guppey, nice.
It was the punjabi food festival and we were served various parathas on the table, fillings right from mix vegetable, aaloo (potato), paneer (cottage cheese). They weren't oily, and no filling was sneaking out, they were perfectly done.
Will be visiting again for a different cuisine.
Service is good, ambience is great, but the common man's pocket is in for a dent at this place, it ain't cheap for the everyday Joe.

Fell in love with the lighting and the waterfall.
Amazing ambience.
Loved the pasta.
The steak was yumm too.
Definitely a place to visit.
Turns out a tad expensive though.
Went to this place at around 8 in the eve, ordered our food including appetizers and main course.Received the appetizers at around 8.50,in which soup was cold, garlic breads were cold, upon asking they put the breads in microwave and served us. 9.20 the manager came in and asked to order again as the order for main course did not go in the system. Can't forget to add the taste was pathetic.Soup was all water.Appetizer was worst in taste.all smelly,Had to leave the place without finishing the main course. All the people in surrounding tables were equally disappointed with the service and food.Everyone left with us without finishing the dinner.Worst experience, clear NO!I am not going to recommend this place to anybody else. Not at all worthy for the price in the menu!

Although the food was tasty but i felt it was not worth the cost. The food here is too expensive and the quantity was not filling accordingly.

Yet the taste, decor, service all was good.

Long gone is the time when cooking was considered a hobby or an art…
Nautanki Café is one of the few places which take the experience of food preparation and dining to another level.
Proving to be a pioneer in Molecular Gastronomy, the Chef has explored culinary possibilities by borrowing tools from the science lab.
The perfect desi tadka with a science wala twist!
Starting the meal with the Amuse Bouche – The Pani Puri bubble…Bite sized, single servings presented by the chef to amuse the palate, not too different from an appetizer.
The pani puri bubble was everything that it promised to be, the tangy fun of “golgappas” in one tiny bite.
Moving on to the next course, soup and salad - what amazing innovation.
They served delicious yellow lentil soup in the form of a cappuccino, teamed with a phulka cookie!
Next came the deconstructed samosa along with a millet salad, crispy samosa skin topped with chatpata samosa stuffing and topped with a pea and the accompaniment – crunchy millet beans mixed with chopped veggies to form a mouthwatering salad.
And then followed the real Theatrical Drama, The Jalebi Ragda Chat preparation…a vibrant spread of chutneys, followed by the ragda , the tikki and then topped with curd , pomegranate seeds etc.
The paneer cornichon starter was an absolute savory treat and the kathiyawadi khichdi , a dollop of chutney topped with a kebab shell made up of kathiyawadi khichdi.

The highlight of the main course was the delicious malai koftas , with super soft kofta balls which melted away I the mouth.

The Rasgulla éclair , which was a chocolate rasgulla with kiwi pulp was refreshingly good to taste and the sitafal kulfi was extremely flavourful and nutty.

In totality , this was an excellent and almost exotic experience , a must have for all food lovers.

Food 4/5

Ambience 4/5

Overall experience was great

The garden area is an amazing place to have family dinners, friends hangout

Multipurpose place it is

Presentation was pretty good

Service is also upto the mark

Being a biotechnologist and daughter of a dietician, I know the actual gross and net costing of over all business
And I respect the decision of management for costing

Yet it is little bit hyped pricing

Desserts are ok chalo

But the other delicacies can be managed

Yet overall it is a must visit place
At least once when you are living in Ahmedabad

Finely presented bad food doesn't a gourmet dish make. I would like to clarify here that the food was not bad it was bland. My tongue was basically demanding to taste something but nothing came off the chewing. On top of it, the food is pretty steep to console yourself. I was really let down, had high hopes for this place!!! I would rather have a standard affair that's tasty rather than the mish mash offered.

First and foremost, I would like to thank Saumil Bhatt, Business Development Manager, at Nautanki Restaurant for making all the necessary arrangements for my mom's surprise birthday.

He conducts himself in a very professional manner, and he knows what he is doing. The experience my parents and family had would not have been possible without his attention to details and genuine care to our needs.

It has always been a challenge to arrange a dinner for the loved ones especially when you (arranger) are not in the city and have to rely on the restaurant staff. But, Saumil went above and beyond the call of duty to exceed our expectations which is quiet remarkable.

Food presentation was at its best as well as the taste of each and every item catered to them. In nutshell, excellent ambience, food, and service:)

Some people say it's expensive, but I would say it's worth it to have such a different experience in the vault of your life memories. The best compliment I can give is by writing a review here for this Nautanki Restaurant as I never write any reviews. This time I was compelled to write it that says a lot about the restaurant experience at this place.

Nautanki to banta hai for sure...

Surprised completely to see such a nice place in Ahmedabad. Well the service was impeccable and the food was just made right. Very thoughtful. Also, the entire experience I had was just outstanding. The place is done up very tastefully. Over and above, I was met by the Manager Ramiz Meghani, who very kind and explained me the entire chefs special menu. He seemed very passionate about the food. I would say a must visit place when in Ahmedabad. All the best.

Wow wow wowwww. This is a mUst place for people who love food for the eyes as much as for the taste buds. I tasted new combinations of food I have never have heard before my favourite is Paan creambrulé. Don't miss it. Looking forward to try new stuff next visit to India.

Nautanki is well-known to serve a delicious platter of exotic dishes. A place, which provides you best of experiential cuisine. Their experiments with gastronomy are well known and well appreciated. It is located on IIM A Road, one of the busiest street in Ahmedabad. But once, you are inside this beautiful restaurant, you will forget the world. The decor has been intelligently crafted, selected, and placed.

It is located on IIM A Road, one of the busiest street in Ahmedabad. But once, you are inside this beautiful restaurant, you will forget the world. The decor has been intelligently crafted, selected, and placed.

It has recently launched its winter special menu and believe me, it is brilliant. The menu has all the intricacies of winter special food. You also can taste some of their regular items that have been added to this menu to make it interesting.

DO NOT CONSIDER THIS AS A REVIEW FOR THE FOOD AS WE DID NOT EAT.

Unfortunately could not enjoy this place because of te fix menu on New Year Eve. Very limited options and not a very appealing menu.

Also we had asked for table of 8 n got a table of 6 making it a very uncomfortable seating.

Rating of 2. for its ambience.

Just a quick addition: when we told the restaurant manager that we would like to leave as the menu isnt appealing. Not once an effort was made to try n convience us to stay.
Hi All,

To me, Nautanki is the ultimate hallmark of fine dining that has excelled in innovation, flavour, technique, and experience. A frequent presence in Ahmedabad's best resturant list, a cosy cottage like setting is the ideal scenery to experience exclusive dining experience celebrating the art of molecular gastronomy. A world class blend of fine dining, molecular gastronamy, and local delicacies. Nautanki introduces its guest with thearitical and suprising concoctation using Foams, Gels, pipettes, and ofcourse Nitrogen. This is the place where culinary knowledge and scientific discipline interwine to create innovative recipes. Thus, I am not surprised that it features in INDIA'S top 1000 restaurants. Thank you Team Nautanki for taking Apnu Amdavad on National Culinary scene.

It was a special day for me and my better half decided to pamper ourself silly here and thanks to her choosing Nautanki over other places.

As we entered the small passage leading directly to the restaurant, we were genuinely welcomed by atleast 5 people and were led to our table by the maitre' d and asked if we're comfortable or not. We decided to go for the 9 course Chef's tasting menu.
You know the feeling when you are watching Indo-Pak match and on the first ball India hits a Sixer, i had the same feeling when Amuse Bouche (is a bite sized apitizer to tease the palate before the meal which also offers a glimpse of the cuisine about to be bought to the table. By the way, bouche is french for mouth), was served to us which was the molecular spherication of pani puri and was served beautifully in a spoon with a bundi on top. We popped the bubble into our mouth much to our amusement and suprise, the bubble exploded with exact pani puri flavour. Very Unique and playful twist to pani puri. You can't expect how exhilarating it is unless you experience it yourself.

Next came the Dal Cappuccino along with Fulka Cookie, it was so visually stunning that i could wait to taste it. The Fulka Cookie was just Fulka, was purely cosmetic, it didn't enhance the Dal Cappuccino which was again plain dal soup with no hint of coffee, was bland actually but liked the nice comforting and refreshing taste after the Panini puri.

What followed next was nothing short of exceptional creativity, Deconstructed Punjabi Samosa which by the way looked nothing like a Samosa from any angle yet tasted exactly like it. Samosa dough was cut into small strip and fried and 3 small dollop of Samosa mixture/masala was place on it beautifully with a pea on it respectively served along with crunchy Millet Salad.

The next dish to arrive was pure Nautanki, they proved that yes, they do Thearitical with Food. The Nautanki Chaat Trolley. A very talented young chef came with the same and started explaining what he was about to do. Very brilliantly he started preparing the Chaat as if it were a painting and he an artist. The main element was Gujarati Khandvi which was flash freezed in Nitrogen. On a wooden tray was butter paper and the first thing he did was to spread the chutney which looked like a design and added Khakra, spinach infused crunchy Pakwan, freezed Kandvi which was broken down with a wooden hammer. Water or some kind of liquid was poured over the Kandvi to bring it back to room temperature and finally the curd and other ingredients. Believe me, this was one of the best Chaat I ever had. The complete process of Chaat making was so delightful and so entertaining. When you visit please ask them prepare this item. It's a MUST. It occurred to me that I should capture the Chaat making much to my wife's embarrassment. Just wanted to share with you guys.

For starters, we had the option to choose 2 from 3 starter; however, we were served all 3. No we didn't complain 😉. Zesty Chicken Tikka was uniquely presented with a solo piece of succulent, tender tikka placed on some kind of flavoured curd with a chutney filled pipette stuck on the tikka. The second starter was Konkani Machlee which was prepared using Maharashtran recipe. The fish was nicely marinated and then wrapped in Arvi leaf. Yum. The last starter was an authentic Andhra Lamb Chops with Lemon Foam, very southern and very flavourful. Also, nicely platted using a round shaped banana leaf on which the Chops were placed.

As we were through with the starters, we were given Chuski (fruit flavoured ice shaving packed in small rectangular plastic pouch) to cleanse our palate before starting with the Mains which again had an option to choose 2 out of 3 dishes and no we were not served all 3. We selected a South African rustic dish, Bunny Chow which was created way back in Durban, home to a large Indian community. These were Sugarcane plantation worker carrying their lunches to the field in a hollowed out loaf of bread filled with vegetarian curries. At Nautanki the same was great, soft fresh loaf of bread, nice curry inside. Second dish was Chicken Roulade (fancy name for minced stuffed chicken) in Rajasthani smoky gravy, this went very well with fresh and crispy Indian bread. Dal Makhani was outstanding as was Rose Caviar Raita. Looooooved it. Imagine freshly made excellent lassi with tiny balls of flavoured rose syrup.

By this time we were stuffed; however, wouldn't miss the dessert for the world. Eclair Rasgulla, exceptional desert presented exceptionally. No way anyone can guess that it's a chocolate covered Rasgulla with a piece of Kiwi in it and finally Sitafal Kulfi with hot Caramel and Almond Biscotti. Now that's what I call a SPECIAL dinner. Loved it, bruv, loved it.

Okay now, the price per person is pushing the limit; however, the experience is priceless. I would certainly recommend this place to all Foodies. Look don't we all indulge in something, think about it, like the expensive watch we didn't need, or the LV bag, or the nasty trip to the Orient for a Sandwich massage. So why not indulge on food, besides, People who love to Eat are the best People. Wouldn't you agree?
We decided to try nautanki one saturday. Ambience is interesting. Menu can be a little versatile. Food is tasty but i was expecting a little more. Dessert we had was paan creme brulee and it was yummy.

Nautanki by one of my favorites souq !
Nautanki has 9 course meal where as souq is total different concept !
Nautanki's sev tamatar khichadi, chat platter, & jalebi nachos fafda ice cream & papaya salad '
For souq my personal favorites are three cheese ravioli to Mediterranean cuisine! Signature platter or souq signature shakshuka
As I haven't reviewed this place Today at food fest I've again visited this
Show stealer was "nan-Khatai" ( nitrogen ;) just wow )
Jalebi ragda 1.0
Can visit this place again again
For souq : 4.5
For nautanki : 4
Ambiance : 5
service : 5
One of the must visit places in town

Had a 9 course dinner here the other night. It was a gastronomical extravaganza, I'm sorry there is absolutely no other way to describe it. The live show of certain preparation was definitely a welcome touch, holds true to the name, Nautanki. Each course was well timed allowing for ample conversation to discuss each course and enough that by the time you are done you aren't overly full causing you to take digine, no body wants that.
The waiters were courteous and the chefs explained every course. It was beyond good. In fact since I'm allergic to prawns and I did want to atleast taste the curry, they specially prepared the curry without the prawns. Definitely worth it if you want to impress a first date.
The lighting was ambient and not overly dark or bright. Just about right.
I will definitely be visiting this place sometime soon, that you can bet the farm on :)

#LongPost #Nautanki #MolecularGastronomy #FineDining

A lot has been written and said about the multi course meal available at Nautanki. The wife (@Anusha) and I, finally got a chance to visit #Nautanki and taste their Chef's Tasting Menu - Winter Edition 2.0 - Vegetarian Selection.

Note: We've been to this location when the previous dining establishment was in operation - and experienced a different look and feel of the place.

The interiors are done very tastefully and the colours on the walls, the decor, the furniture, the fixtures - in short everything - gives the diner a feeling of being in an opulent place.

The service staff seems extremely well trained and every course that was served, was explained in detail. Full marks for that!

Now comes the main part of the evening - The food. (Isn't that what really matters in the first place?)

(Thank God, we clicked a pic of the menu - there was no way we could have recalled every single item, off the top of our head - thanks to the numerous items and the pleasant stupor that was induced at the end of the meal!)

0. We had two mocktails - an aam panna like drink and one with curry leaves in it - yummy indeed!

1. Amuse Bouche - pani pakodi bubble

A single spoon with a jelly like blob with a couple of ball like thingies! That's it. Gulp down the entire spoon in one go (that's what the establishment recommends!) and be prepared to have an amazing burst of flavour in your mouth. The tangy flavour of that hugely loved Indian snack - the ubiquitous pani puri, in a different avatar is what this is. The best part is that the single small portion builds up the excitement for the dishes to come.

2. Soup - Dal Cappuccino with Phulka cookie

A demitasse (small cup) like piece of crockery with the Dal served with two cookie-sized phulkas. This item is a basic dal-roti kinda thing - but served in the manner of a soup. The dal is pretty simple and so are the phulkas. The small serving size leaves enough room in the tummy for the other courses to come. We felt, it was an intelligent move on part of the chef to do so. In Ahmedabad, we often come across diners who order the soup one-by-two. A single soup serving in most dining places would practically load up your stomach leaving practically very little space for the entrees and mains.

A word of advice - don't ask for the soup in one-by-two format... :)

3. Salad - Deconstructed Samosa with Millet salad

Ah! The deconstructed samosa is an intelligent take on the much-revered Indian snack - the Samosa. A base of crisp with small blobs of the filling topped with a few peas and slivers of potatoes(?) that combines the yummy flavours of the aloo samosa with the sophistication of fine dining.

The millet salad is crisp millet grains with fine chopped tomatoes and onions with a drizzle of chutney. It reminds one of a well made bhel puri. The wife was so in love with this dish that she couldn't resist having spoonfuls of the same.

4. Theatrical Drama - Jalebi Ragda 1.0

This is where things start getting interesting. Jalebi? with Ragda? Did we hear that right? Is this a sweet dish? Or is it savoury?

The dish is created table side. Drizzles of sweet, spicy and tangy chutneys, spreads of ragda, tikki, topped with Jalebis and finally a dash of liquid nitrogen to create the theatrical effects!

One bite into the jalebi and realisation hits that this is not the sweet- syrup laden version of that great Indian sweet. It is a jalebi in all matters except the taste. It serves as a crisp-pakodi substitute and provides the crunchy element to the chaat. Full marks for presentation and taste.

5. Starters - Wild Mushrooms and Truffle Oil Momo, Paneer Cornichon (with pickle sauce, mustard crisp, lemon foam), Charcoal

The momo is served in a very interesting piece of crockery. The deep purple colour of the momo (beet) lends an interesting look. The wild mushroom stuffing inside is quite spicy and sits well on the palate.

The Paneer Cornichon was excellent. The softness and freshness of the paneer was well complemented by the thick mustard sauce (which was surprisingly not too hot - good!). The lemon foam is exactly that - take a spoonful in your mouth and all you get is the taste - wonderful!

The highlight of the meal, for us, was the Charcoal. Served with a thick chutney like blob and edible ash, this is a culinary masterpiece. The outershell of the charcoal ball has every aspect of charcoal - minus a bitter burnt taste. Inside the shell is ... wait for it .... Khichadi! If you have to eat just one item of the entire list, this must be it.

(Wait, I can say that for almost every dish... hahaha)

6. Palate Cleanser - Chuski

We reach the mid point of the meal. Chuski - a.k.a. Pepsi Cola - the flavoured ice lollies served in sealed plastic wrappers - that school children so love! The aam panna flavour transported us back to our childhood.

7. Mains - Saagwala (Sarson da saag, corn curd cutlets, makki ki roti), Malai Kofta with Curried tomatoes

The sarson da saag was well seasoned and the corn curd cutlets (fancy name for dahi ke kebab?) and the Malai Kofta in its pleasantly sweetish gravy were pretty yummy.

8. Bread Raita Dal - Tandoor breads, Dal Makhani, Rose Caviar Raita

The tandoori rotis basket had plenty of roti quarters and we felt, we could've been served a couple of fewer rotis - to leave some space for the desserts. (Hogs that we are, we wolfed down the entire basket though :D )

The Dal Makhani was pretty good - definitely among the top 3 that we've had (We pompously recommended the Slow Cooked Dal Makhani from Chulha at Grand Hyatt, Goa to the chef for reference - the best we've had so far)

The Rose Caviar Raita is a cupful of thick sweetened yoghurt with rose pearls. Serve this as a lassi on the a-la-carte menu, and you've got a winner.

9. Desserts - Sitaphal kulfi (with hot caramel and almond biscotti), Eclair Rasgulla (with kiwi)

The Sitaphal kulfi was rich and creamy and the almond biscotti was crunchy but the show stealer was the hot caramel. The same one that you get at M'ayan - same chef, you see! Taste it once, and we bet, you cannot resist licking the entire cup.

The Eclair Rasgulla was served on a bed of chocolate dots, with some kiwi pieces. The best part was that the Rasgulla, encased in the eclair shell, was quite distinct. Embedded in the centre was a piece of fruit!

Once you reach the end of the meal, you are left with a satiated feeling and the pleasant knowledge that you have had a posh fine dining experience.

The chef, manager and the entire service staff deserves kudos for creating a fantastic dining experience.

For those who feel that the meal is expensive (which we don't dispute), here's a suggestion.

Choose this experience for an extremely special occassion.

- Take someone along, who appreciates good food and is open to new dining experiences.

- Read up a little about different foods and courses (amuse bouche, foam, edible gel, liquid nitrogen, molecular gastronomy are some search terms that you can look up through google)

- Be prepared for a long (2 - 2.5 hours meal)

- Enjoy the experience!

Food: 10/10

Ambiance: 9/10

Service: 10/10

Value for money: 9/10

Cheers!

This has been one of my favourite dine out places in Ahmedabad. The regular menu is amazing and they also come up with exciting menu's time and again. The winter edition Chef's menu was simply mind-blowing. The starters like Dal cappuccino soup, mushroom momos, and charcoal khichdi with edible ash are some of the most unique dishes I have ever tried. Loved the trademark live dish in this menu that the place is known for - live ragada chat with foam curd and jalebi. Sarso ka saag, malai kofta and dal makhni made up for a complete meal. The rose caviar raita was a blessing for my Gujarati sweet tooth! We finished with eclair frozen rasgulla and sitaphal kulfi presented very creatively.

Had the chef's table menu! Great experience. Was treated to some wonderful deconstructed, reconstructed and molecular Gastronomy. All items were Indian with a certain level of fusion with western cooking techniques. I had the vegetarian fare and loved every bit of it. A clear cut 5 star rating on the service. The staff was very attentive and welcoming!

Two more things that I liked about the place. 1. The ambi@ence. 2. The silence. Ahmedabad suffers from 'everyone should hear me in this restaurant's syndrome. That was not an issue here. Maybe I got lucky or maybe that is somehow the norm here but it definitely added to the experience.

My favourites from the menu:
The charcoal khichdi
Deconstructed samosa
The wild mushroom momos
Ragda jalebi
Malai kofta
Rose raita
Viditi Patrawala
One of the best fusion restaurant I have been to. We ordered the chef's tasting menu and I loved almost every dish that was served. A perfect blend of gujrati fusion food. Tad bit expensive but worth every penny. special mention for the parle g and gulab jamun thick shake. Loved it!!!

Decided to try it for my 1st wedding anniversary and I had an awesome experience. Food was awesome, in terms of both taste and presentation. The staff was very courteous and attentive. Overall a great anf unique fine dining experience. Would recommend the 9 course meal.

Ambience and service is beautiful. And it is as dramatic as it seems. Been here plenty times, and the 3.5 rating is for the inconsistent quality and taste of food. Sometimes it's really good, sometimes really bad. Depends on the menu that day. An okay place for food, an amazing place for the ambience.

Super Ambience, Exotic way of serving, friendly service and yummy food were the perfect ingredients to make our Saturday Dinner a memorable one. We tried the Set Menu and it was excellent. Will keep on coming again to try the ala carte menu as well.

Here I was thinking that I would have a nice experience here, especially since I was in love with Goodies, which occupied this spot before and Mocha before that. I was suffering from a horrible migraine when I got there, which tripled when the music started blaring. I requested that it be turned down (mind you, not OFF) because I thought my head was going to explode but the guy actually said, "Nothing can be done, madam." He then asked us to sit somewhere else, which was surrounded by people who were having hookah, which took my migraine to new levels. The music suddenly changed to some really bad singing, which made me want to kill myself. Let me also add that the non-veg platter was only satisfactory... maybe I would have enjoyed it more if the place wasn't trying to kill me with smoke and god awful music. A big big disappointment!! I suggest you start packing because with this attitude, you clearly won't last long.

Well, I'd stress on the outdoor cafeteria of being a typical vacuum cleaner of your money, since the sheesha was not smooth enough to smoke even after every second pull over again, mosquito bites which was not acceptable on terms of hygiene! The food wasn't even edible by a friend of mine who just took the first bite and was done with it because there was nothing that could have been done to make it better, which was sad. Unbelievably the air circulation wasn't taken care of since there were table fans hung on the side roof or wall I guess, which were too noisy. And lastly I would definitely not spend the amount that they charge neither on the sheesha ever again because I don't find it worth for a sheesha nor the basic snack items which didn't taste good a bit. My primary concern would be the quality and then the spending part, but I'd appreciate the effort of the staff which was polite and helpful!

average food , good ambience, average service on lower side. Food which had a lot of elements was in the end tasted like any other indian restaurant.Need to develop more recipies

We attended a friends party last night here in Nautanki, thought the ambience is good, even the restaurant charges like a five star but the service was like a road side dhaba. Despite of numerous polite request for serving us better the staff and the manager could not do anything. They served one dish and another was served after 20-25 minutes it was the same with Indian curry and Indian breads. The height was when the dessert arrived, in first few servings they served full ice cream cuts and then after they started serving half ice creams. Though they charge exorbitantly they service is super pathetic.
Hardik Kansara
Pathetic service. Overwhelmingly understaffed and still in denial over the fiasco. They couldn't manage to serve the main course in order and one thing came after the other once the food was cold.

A mockery of 'fine dining' and will not recommend anyone that I know of.
Gitika Modi
The rating Is just for the interior. Less option for foods and drinks. Very less quantity, not worth for money. I will not recommend it to anybody.

Amazing food will be an understatement.....A new nich created by nautanki for itself where in near future no competition is possible.... staff 100/100 food 110/100 ambiance 100/100.... i expect nothing more from them.... keep it up.... your place on top is secure....All the best....

We went to Nautanki for a good food and great experience, however the food was a huge disappointment. Even after days of Navratri getting over they still had navratri type food. Sabudana was used in 2 starter and one desert.. farari chevda and Singoda poori... man who wants to have so much Desi food at this cost???? The food had too much Indian items .... shockingly even the desert where a disappointment with both the deserts been Indian... Sabudana Firni and Kheer.. .while presentation, service etc was good... these guys need to work on menu and food... .
Shubhi Khanna Doshi
No doubt .... as the name suggest food had nautanki names but yes awesome taste .... it's a gourmet restaurant ... with five star quality food but yes the quantity they offer is less as the prices can pinch your pocket n quality n taste of food is good but their service is very slow
Pooja
1. Pathetic table service. At 4 instances, I had to repeat the same thing thrice. Why ?

2. Thugs, for Rs 450, you serve 6 pieces of paneer tikka? Where is this Paneer coming from ?

3. You don't have half the things on the menu, basically you force the customer to choose from the remaining menu.

4. Ordered drinks, they served once we were done eating.

5. Honestly, you people are actual nautanki !
Sumit
Service is pathetic. Ordered Peri Peri Chicken and one Salad, with a coke and iced tea. Coke took 30 minutes to be served with a reminder. Been more than one and half hour and food still not served. Call the waiter and they don't want to take the order for food.

The sheesha over here is amazing. The food also is really good. Overall the sheesha bar is perfect as a friendly hangout place. I have been here many time just sometimes it get a bit crowded. Otherwise I will give it 5* place because of the service, sheesha and food. 👍🏻👍🏻

We went on a fine evening in the weekday . It was still crowded as open lounge they serve shisha and they had goan food festival going on . It was decorated very well with glittering and illuminating lights across . We almost hogged from soup to dessert all. Its a fusion cuisine . Serves and prepares desi food with two three mixtures or fusions like few names were malabary paratha stuffed with bombay style bhaji served with mint chutney . Later gujarati khandvi stuffed with rissotto cheese and mutter methi malai gravy. Sev tamatar khichdi . Mohanthal cheesecake with saffron milk . We ordered ala carte from regular menu instead of goan festival. Service can be improved its very slow. Overall good experience can be visited again.

Nautanki is good at their serving style and talking about food they also have their good experiments. Well yesterday night we visited nautanki for second time. They are having goan food festival this days. Some starters are very unique and chaat is must try. Talking about main course butter chicken and seafood balchao is must try. As per me deserts are their specialty. They had very good experiments on desert part. Goan deserts were not so cool but mohanthal cheesecake is must try.

A good and decent place i have found in Ahmadabad, after a tiring road trip in the city. We wanted to visit a relax place , hence, were looking for some places, finally ended up on this. I have pre booked (25 Sep 2016; Sunday) this place over call and surprisingly they have kept our seat reserved even in peak hours and that was really impressing. I have been to many places which does not respect your reservation. Well about this restaurant its amazingly placed at IIM road visible and hearable from out side :D ... Yes we identified this place from its music.

Food: The food was delicious. We ordered one starter and main course (both fish) it was mind blowing.. I have been to Goa for a year but, trust me many of them cant even reach the half of its taste. We were not hungry and had to continue our road journey hence did not eat much but whatever we had it was delicious. Beverages were limited and the same boring menu in them, they can experiment on it, as they dont serve alcohol, light mocktail and beverages can be improved

Sheesha: We ordered sheesha, the presentation was good ... They put a small ice bucket below the water glass to chill the water it was good. Secondly the mixture of flavour was amazing (inspired majorly from Egyptian flavours). You wont like it if you are still stick to those boring outdated flavours (Paan Masala and Mint) if you wanna taste good flavours try them out

Music: Well they said DJs were from Goa. They seemed to be a trainee or newly become DJs because the flow of the music was bit off.. When we arrived, he was playing remix of sad bollywood songs.. later he switched to 90s pop and then he came to latest UK hit list. Well to be honest i am not completely disappointed with DJ. It was pretty ok.

Overall i will rate it 4.5 ... (0.5 deducted for a slow service, music and less sitting space near DJ area) Rest you must enjoy you weekend there..Genuinely i did not expect such place in Ahmadabad, my thumps up to it ...

I have been here quite a few times and can conclude that this is one of the better hookah places in Ahmedabad. Their non veg starters are quite good. Was last here on a Monday night. They had a Goan theme menu and decor. Ordered Bali Bali chicken with chicken lollipop and chicken sausage rice. The starters were delicious but the rice was quite a disappointment.
While this is an ideal place to relax and smoke, the food (except the staters) overall does not make the cut for me. Nevertheless, I do intend to visit again hoping for even better non veg starters and interesting theme.
Food : 3/5
Ambience : 3.5/5
Hospitality : 2.5/5
Value for money : 2.5/5

Very nice place to visit... Must visit
Goan food festival is on .. Infact my wife wanted try as she wanted to pick from the goan menu... I
She liked the food very much... Me and my daughter planned to go with dal and rice to meet our hunger...
Loved the place...

We went to Nautanki to try out their Goan menu. Whilst it wasn't authentic Goan food, what disappointed us the most was the service here. The waiters were unapologetically rude, saying that they were busy due to a shift change, and there was no attention to detail. We would rate it 3 due to the turnaround by the manager.

Much awaited visit to the Gastronomical Drama.. 'Nautanki'
Specially for Authentic Goan Food Festival

And I saved money 😋
Instead of going all the way to Goa, I satisfied my tastebuds locally... in Ahmedabad

Excellent menu selection
Well balanced 7 course meal from Soup to Dessert
Very original flavors and served very artistically.

* Chicken Clear Soup with Basil Caviar
* Grand Ma's Chicken Cutlet 😍
* Coconut Dew as pallete cleanser
* Prawn Xacuti
* Dodol & Doce with vanilla ice cream and rose caviars
And much more!

But winner was Chitki Mitki Sukhem 👌🏼👌🏼
A dish made of Cluster Beans (Gawar) & Coconut

Must not miss the Food Festival as well as this unique fine dining experience.

Next on my list is Goan Ros Omelette and to try out their regular ala carte menu.

#wannabechef

Low Light Pictures 🙈🙈

Well I am giving score of two because we loved the Goan food in the food festival going on(October 2016)
What surprises me is that it took them 30+ minutes to serve our starters when there was only one(ours) table being served! Our papads came after our starters!
Plus the service was not only slow but careless, they didn't care to clean the table next to us even we pointed that out. Silverware and napkins didn't arrive until we asked for them 30-40 minutes into the lunch.
They made mistake twice in taking one of our main course order. Meaning the third main was the right one, yes the third.
Though I like the fact that the servers were respectful and didn't resort to argument or bickering.
a very bad experience
we three friends went with our friend from hyderabad who has come for training to IIM to Nautanki as it is the most nearest place.
We went for a chat over some snacks and juices.
We sat in the goan theme area.
We were served water after 20 minutes of our sitting there as waiters were all concentrating on the ladies on the near table. We ordered for 4 glasses of fresh coconut water ( Rs.130/-) per glass and two plates of starter each costing Rs.350/- and more only. We told the staff that the food has to be served fast as our friend has to go again to IIM for project work. He told it will be done. Even the manager came and asked us if there is any problem and we conveyed him the problem of providing drinking water very late.
we waited for next 20 minutes. The ladies on the next table who came after us got served the coconut water and we didnt get it. Our patience ran out and we had to leave the place without eating.

Also while seating there, i realised that this place is a total no-no for vegetarian people as lot of foul smell coming from the fry pans near by.

We went to nearby shambu cafe and had a nice chat with our friend over a cup of coffee. I hope all understand to avoid this place. you all can contact me on 9099016831

This place is a surprise, even when you read the reviews, look at some pictures before going, but when you enter this food heaven, the experience is completely different.

Now, if you live in Gujarat and have an open minded taste in food, this is the place to be. The people at Nautanki have created something in the lines of a Food Lab. They present to you the most traditional dishes in their own unique way. Be it spherodisation, liquid nitrogen and what not, they use it all to provide you with an experience beyond all expectations.

Now if you are hungry enough(like I was), just go there and order their 9 course meal, nothing beats that. But if you dont have that kind of capacity, they waiter will provide you a wonderful selection of dishes after knowing what you would like.

This is one of the very few restaurants I have been to in this city with such interactive waiters(wonderful english) and service(the chef comes and makes the nitro chat in front of you).

Although there was some communication error on the phone before going there, the reserved table, valet and the champagne(not complimentary) made up for it.

Aaaamaazingggg..... Best nonveg i have ever tasted. Thank you zomato for introducing such fine dining restaurant. Lovely ambience and mind blowing food. Must try chicken tikka and mutton rogan josh

Tried the non vegetarian pre fixe menu and it started off alright but the mains were pretty good. Loved the lamb and chicken but was extremely unimpressed with the nitrogen dipped chaat and other appetizers. Making something fancy isn't enough.

This review has been long due and there is no substantial reason for delay though. Let's begin the journey. I went there with my family for course dinner which wasn't available, so we opted for a la carte and we were seated in the Indoor section of the restaurant. This is situated on IIM road, Vastrapur.

The Right Stuff :

As you enter the restaurant, the ceiling catches your attention. It was illuminated in pale yellow colour and the bright lights right above your dining area contrasts it beautifully. The Interior is very soothing and eye catching and whoever has done it, has a good taste. So, we settled in the table and pat comes the waiter to ask you about your water preference. Then the gastronomy starts.... First , we took two soups - Tomato soup & Mulligatawny soup. The second one is served on the bed of oats upma and garnished with Murruku. The taste was quite good and it was something new we had. Then came Melon Carpaccio, Chataka Hummus & Dabeli version. The dabelis were cute little like minions and were delicious. The Carpaccio were quite good for me but very few people will like it !!! Then came the regular stuff - Indian breads, Ratatouille & Stuffed aloo dum. The taste was rather international - less spicy, so we did not enjoy it very much. Now, all through the dinner in such restaurants, you always wait for the desserts to come because that's where you will realize how far the restaurateur is going for Limits.. So, we ordered Kadak Chai Ice cream & Pan cream Brulee. The taste of the Kadak was something weird and we disliked it very much but the Pan one hit the nerves perfectly. As soon as you put it on your tongue, you will get a hit of the Pan. It's very good. We wanted to have other desserts but many of them are unavailable that evening.

The Not-so-Right Stuff :

I think it is very basic that when you plan to open a restaurant of such finesse, the servers shall be able to speak English with the patrons so as to pronounce the dishes served correctly and can explain the complexities of the dish. This restaurant scores hardly 2 from 10 on this scale. A lot of people seating around us couldn't understand what they were eating and the fulfillment of joy was not there. The service was random - sometimes very efficient and sometimes you will have to shout for the server.

There are a lot of restaurants in Lower Parel, BKC & Versova in Mumbai to experience this kind of food and the service al-dente. I think, still you can visit this restaurant once at least to experience the creativity of the chef. The food on the taste scale is good but not excellent. I am giving the high rating especially for giving me such an experience in our city for the first time. The weight on your pocket is around Rs 1400/- per person.

Pros
Unique food preparation
Good service

Cons
Overpriced
Food was good but for the price you pay you want something expectional.
Recommend do visit once for service and unique food preparation

Today i went to nautanki for a hangout with my cousins and must say it was a Superb pace to be. Awesome ambiance. And with staff like Mr. Wajid who serve with great hospitality, we enjoyed a lot. It is a Cool place to hang out

“Mind your language”. If you are eager to hear this statement from an assistant restaurant manager, Mr Sajid, do visit Nautanki. A wasted evening on a such an auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan and Sindhu going to the finals of the Olympics . The turn of events left only two choices; either to sit through the humiliation or leave. And we choose to LEAVE. I guess everything has a 1st time. This is what sums up our experience. However, the manager, Mr. Swamil Bhatt was a big saving grace and if at all we revisit it will be due to him only.

1.5 only for the Manager

This is by far one of the best restaurants i came across. To be honest its costly not everyone can afford, but the food is worth spending. Service and staff are both commendable.

Been there for the very first time and after visiting thought to give some feedback about the experience, from starting it was an idli with coconut foam to chocolate soil everything were like magic to us. Full on nautanki, was there for lunch with the office team and we were amazed to see bhel made with some nitrogen. Enjoy thoroughly. Keep it up nautanki

By far one of the worst places I've been to.

So first you enter and these guys will be all nice and smiley and ask you if you'd like to sit outside or inside - outside you'll get some continental food and inside you get modernised Indian cuisine. What is not mentioned is that outside you will get slightly affordable rates and that inside you will get some gastronomical ** which is 5x the price of a. The things outside in the non-AC area and b. of what they're worth.
They dont even have a menu available on Zomato for a person to be able to make that informed decision beforehand. So even if sitting outside you feel that maybe that gastronomical nonsense or perhaps the 'modernised Indian food' is worth trying (and would probably be of the same range as the dishes outside), you can't make an informed decision because well YOU DONT KNOW THAT THIS CRAP COSTS SOME 500 BUCKS PER DISH.

Anyway, after all of that you do go inside and after the initial shock of looking at the right side of the menu page, you decide to order a starter. Now what starter do we take, hmmmmm. Gaze around and realise that whatever it is that you order, you will anyway get 4 pieces no matter what. Settle for murg malai tikka. Wait. Wait some more. Wait for 25 odd minutes. Oh, wait, did I mention that we also had to wait 5 minutes for the MENU to come? This was when there were some THREE tables that were occupied, that's all.

Yay. Food comes. As expected - four pieces. Nothing phenomenally appealing to the eye. Just normal malai tikka topped with melted cheese.
Now one would assume that since this is 'INDIAN' food, even if it is 'modernised', you'd get some chutney with it, maybe a 'modernised' one at that. You don't. What do you do then? You ask for it. How do you ask for it, and who do you ask? You ask the first person who you can make an eye contact with, even if it takes another two minutes and your food is getting cold.

Now that you have asked for it, you should get it ASAP, shouldn't you? Nope, not here at Nautanki. You still decide to wait and when it crosses another 3-4 minutes, you cant help but show some mercy to those four overpriced pieces of chicken malai tikka with melted cheese on top and consider eating it with the melted cheese as your lovely dip in disguise.

You're done eating now. It's over. How much time can this little meal for 500 bucks even take to eat? Is the chutney you asked for there yet?
No points for guessing, guys, it's obviously NOT.

With that, you ask for your cheque and pray to lord that at least this doesn't take another hour because there at the nearest Dominos, a pre-ordered burger-pizza awaits you in your broke&hungry misery.
Ah yes, a way to kill time here while you look at people gazing at their gastronomical BS all excitedly like 4 year old kids while you patiently wait, wait and then wait some more for your food and 'chutney', is to place your order at the nearest McD or Dominos because that's all that one (if you're like me) can afford after this mistake!

And yes, on a final note, if you do decide to keep Taj/ Hyatt rates, at least match the standards of service and also, please, the food as well. Your job isn't just to please customers who, you know, are going to make you print a bill with a four or five digit number on it.

This was my first visit in nautanki was willing to go there it was awesome time and food was good in taste. Paneer barrels was very good in taste and the ambience was based on peacock theme which was looking amazing. Will come soon again.!

After a long wait , I finally got a chance to visit this place on a brief visit to Ahmedabad.

We started with the Captains recommendation The Nautanki Chat trolley .
This starter was all about the experience or presentation. Different sauce, kandhvi at over - 150 degrees in nitrogen and a hammer used to break it.
. It was really all Natak, sorry Nautanki.

Main course was OK. The ratatouille Greavy was nice ..
To many sweet parathas on the menu
Mohanthal cheese cake was yummy .it won' our heart.
Service was very inefficient, slow and it looked they lacked staff
I really liked the grill design on the ceiling

Had the 9 course tasting meal. Very experimental food, but nonetheless delicious. Just go there for the exquisite experience which you won't get anywhere else in Ahmedabad. Service is great, and the whole meal takes about 2 hours to be completed. You can choose 2 out of 3 from starters. The mains and desserts are unlimited. But you'll not need a second serving because you'll be full by the time the dessert arrives. Would've given a 5, had it not been for the ridiculously expensive menu, and an added service charge of 400 bucks. If your pocket allows, this place is a must go.

I have only one word for the food - TERRIBLE .
Had the set 9 course meal .🙄
Waste of money appetite calories and one precious evening in Ahmedabad where in I Cldve eaten some real awesome food elsewhere for a third of the cost .😡
Liked the ambience though and the outside lounge / hookah place is really very nice .

Don't waste your time, energy and money folks, the food here is a total disaster. We took the fixed 9 course meal, if you know fine dining, believe me your faith in fine dining as a whole will go down the drain. Absolute waste!

Most most amazing place with u pinch of surprise in each and every dish served !! Totally went into food-coma after having lunch at nautanki - believe me - not doing ' nautanki' at all !!
What to say about this mesmerising place .. Really neat and cozy interiors , loved the ceiling and the peacock feather murals on wall with those big glass windows - really calm ambience - no rush rush going around - spent really quality time with my team!!
Now about the food - there was culinary art in each piece of food served - it started with progressive nautanki chaat - the chef explained each and everything in detail - loved the flow with which he was putting in all the ingredients !!
Then for staters we had paneer tikka and pita -hummus -falafel dish which was perfecto ( sorry I don't remember the name because we literally went on to food coma ) .. For main course there was Gulab jamun in spinach gravy and paneer dish garnished with ' chevda' !! Zafrani paratha - worth trying - so does the pachha paratha !! For mocktails -- we had watermelon cooler , passion fruit drink and lychee slush - three of them - really yummy on my tummy !!
The Stars came in the end -- mohanthal cheesecake - garnished with caramel , jalebi fafada nachos and deconstructed Ras malai !!
About all dishes , their presentations were the highlight of meal !!
I think one of the world class restaurant of the city !! Kudos to the brain behind the idea of this place and all the recipes !!
( some people may find little hard on pocket , but where there is yummy food , that part can be ignored )

We had gone to this place on friendship's day. As we had made reservations so we got a table else would have had to wait. Now the question is wether the food is worth the wait. They have the new gastronomical infused cuisine served there. Having a set course for tht particular day did not leave me with choices to be spoilt for. Overall food experience was decent. A few appetisers were decent. Badami dil to me tasted like mc can potato tikki coated with almond flakes. Deconstructed pani puri should be replaced with sumthing else. The gulab jamun & parle g shake was really fused well. Main course had two options. Nawabi paneer was excellent. Punjabi choley can be better. And i would request all restaurants to stop using mini pizza base as a replacement for indian breads. The dessert had sumthing called as 'dosti ka pitara where they come & make the dessert infront of u using liquid nitrogen. I really failed to understand the need of liquid nitrogen in tht dessert. Anyways overall a gud experience but there are areas where you should work on & improve.

Loved the food, loved the service, friendly staff, great music and definitely one of the best hukka places to chill.

One should definitely hit this place atleast once. Hopefully your experience will be as pleasant as it was ours.

Just like any other place on Sundays, you ll have to wait for sometime before getting your table, but that's a norm for us Amdavadis now.

I visited this place for dinner last night with a friend. The ambience is cool and unexpectedly hip for A'bad. They have an outdoor section for hookah. We ordered rose shikanji and peri peri chicken. The rose shikanji was horrible. It had pieces of jelly in it instead of syrup. The peri peri chicken was strictly ok. Good place by A'bad standards.

Amazing ambience.. Amazing food. The staff is also so friendly. Had an amazing time. Yes, it's a bit pricey compared to other good places around but given the quality of food it's worth it.

One of the good hangouts in the city, they have indoor as well as outdoor arrangements, serve sheesha, food is good, live music / DJ is the best part of it. Must visit if you look forward to have musical evening with friends and family.
I have been visiting ahmedabad frequently in this past year but somehow never visited this place. Today I had dinner with my family and was quite impressed with the food preparation and beautiful ambience. Had a lovely time there. Hope they maintain the quality of food and services. Thumbs up!!!

Alright then! Finally it was Nautanki after so much hype around and had pep in my legs to just rush in and have a puffs of Sheesha! Just when you enter, your expectation rises with very cozy and urban ambience they have set up, cheers to that Team Nautanki! Disappointments creeps in with the first puff. Sheesha wav very average and so was the Bhutta we had ordered from Rain Special Menu they have as it was raining outside! Service is good, coal guy keep popping in often! Hopefully, the food will turn up as hyped at my next visit!

Ambience: As good as the name! Perfect.
Service: We didn't feel isolated!
Energy: As good as the crowd!
Food: Bhutta can't say about rest of the Pitara they have. Next time!!

I came to know about this place through Zomato. I was little dicey about the choice of this place. As we reached there I totally got convinced that this is a good choice for spending a leisure time with your friends. We did not order much of the food but we like the pizza on our plates. If you are hukka lover, must go this place. We loved the live music band though he was playing only romantic songs. I would recommend young people to visit this place with your loved one since the ambience is awesome.

Ambience was good. Place was overcrowded and service was bit off the edge. We were asked to change our table in between our meal due to some of their circumstances, that was a bit unprofessional of them. An average place, not met my expectations that i had heard of.
