Right from the ambience to the food, there is a certain quirkiness about Nautanki that hits the right spots. The ambience is very modern and elegant. The food is brilliant in both taste and presentation... the chef definitely does the extra bit. The place makes you feel special and has the right tastes and flavours.
Certainly worth more visits!
The cost is not as economical as one would like but the whole experience is certainly worth it.
Wow wow wow wow.....!!! Don't just go there to eat GO THERE to experience.....!!! Amazingly awesome 👏, heads of to the chef and his team. I am sure the place won't last in Ahmedabad as people are not use to the food they are serving. I don't have the words to express how good the food was, service was great, staffs very polite and helpful.

This is the place. Probably best place to go for dates. Talking about food, it's innovative, classy and one of its kind. Serving and presentation top class. Full marks on ambience though they can work on cleanliness with table cloth n seats. I had 9 course meal. Starters were lip smacking, somewhat above average main coarse and smashing desert. I am a desert guy, so all is well that ends well. What hurts is obviously taxes and charges,but I don't the people visiting here would matter that. Overall great experience n that definitely a try for foodies.

The menu of the nautanki perfectly describe their name " Nautanki". I was mesmerised by their wide range of cusines in the menu. They also have fixed meal menu for lunch. We went there for a lunch. If you are going for the first time it is preferred to go with the fixed meal menu as we also went with that. They served 8 morden indian cusines with main course and dessert but with gastronomical twist and you will definitely love it. The best thing i love was a live jalebi ragda chaat and kind of pani-puri test in spoon. The dessert was delicious. They have uniqueness in menu, excellent service with description and beautifully designed interior. Outdoor seating is also beautiful. Definitely recommend to visit. Will visit soon for the different cusines.
Heard of it from a lot of people so thought we shoukd give it a try. The ambience was good and different and so was the food. We ordered one watermelon and papaya salad..the name was different dont remember though so in simple language it was yummy. We normally dont experiment with food so simple things were ordered. I tried a masala kulcha which was stuffed with sun dried tomatoes. It was awsome, a bit heavy but good. Missi roti is worth trying for.
Price is a bit on the higher side compared to other normal restaurants but hey, this is nautanki we are talking about so the food was worth the price.
Nautanki is one of the few places in ahmedabad that doesn't disappoint. It's the perfect headout for people who love to experiment with their food. They have great items on the menu, a lot of desi dishes with a 'gastronomical' twist, as they call it, to create an informidable dining experience!
During my last visit to Ahmadabad, i visited the place. I can say its the perfect blend of food and ambiance. The gastronomic stuffs are so well presented, anyone can die for it.
Met with their Chef, very talented and focused. He is very confident what is he doing. Love to visit the same again.

My bf planned a surprise for me at Nautanki on the occasion of my birthday. He had made reservations for a candle light dinner. The table was also decorated with rose petals. I’m not a very mushy girl by naTure, but these gestures just won my heart.
The staff welcomed us very warmly and made sure that we were comfortable. He had opted for the set-menu which was a whopping 9 course meal. Most of the dishes were their signature de-constructed style and they just kept raising the bar with every dish. My favorite dish was the – Zesty Chicken tikka. Who would have thought coriander chatni can come in a pipette, and that dried lemon when crushed can add 5 stars to an otherwise regular dish. Without a second thought this was the best chicken tikka I ever had. Other favorites were – dal cappuccino with fulkas (simple & classy), deconstructed samosa and the Andhra lamb chops. The food just kept coming in!!
After the main course, we decided to sit in their beautiful outside seating area for the dessert. It has a very romantic feel with beautiful lanterns surrounding you. The dessert we chose was – Éclair rasgulla. It ‘was out of this world’ tasty! Then came the last and the best surprise – a live dessert was made for me which had chocolate cakes at the base, on top of that a standing heart shaped chocolate which had – Happy Birthday written on it. The chef asked me to break the chocolate with a hammer, and when I did – there was a diamond ring inside !! Next thing he was on his knees, and said those words.. and the girl said – YESSSS!!
It was the best date we ever had, and we thank Nautanki for arranging it so beautifully for us. What is most surprising is that my bf (and now officially fiancé) lives in Dubai and all of this was done via emails.
Thanks a lot guys for making this so special. Highly recommend this place for the amazing food, service, ambience and staff. Also if you want to surprise your loved ones, they have amazing ideas for you!!

Starting from the Ambience it is lovely and it keeps you attracting there , Coming to the food best serving in Ahmedabad as of now. Its kind of live counter which comes to your table and serve it. They have a very nice innovative way to serve the food. Coming to cost now it is little bit high on cost. But atleast 1 time you should give it a try.
Want to experience something new? bored with old traditional taste and style. Come here, experience the different dishes. The restaurant has introduced innovative ways of presenting the food you may already have hundreds of time. They have all Veg, Non Veg, Jain, Swaminarayan Jain preparations. You may like or dislike the taste as it is personal, however, you will surely love the presentation and innovation.
If you are looking for quantity of food, this may not be the place. You can go to any other restaurants in Ahmedabad.
A friend of mine just went there and said it is a wonderful place to be at. Ambience is Lovely. He quotes "It felt like I was in a Café in Goa". He had a wonderful time and I too will visit soon.
Loved the whole concept of nautanki it's surely drama on your plate . A wonderful amalgamation of culinary skills with brilliant taste.
A experience one should not regret
Nice change from the regular, all the food was well prepared. The entire meal is served course wise and soul to dessert would take upwards for 90 mins.
Do you like 21st century culinary euphemisms like de-constructed food or molecular gastronomy? If yes then this place is for you. Very expensive but very unique as well. Do try if you feel like eating something "new".

Nice concept but even the thali places give bottled water at no extra charge and here you have to ask and pay extra. Really. Mr Patel please re think and improve.
Amazing, inspired and inspirational food. It is difficult to "review" Nautanki, because it is unparalled. Today was my fourth visit...lookong forward to many many more.
