Review Jain Dal Bati - Ahmedabad

As the name suggests dal bati but it was not that good or you can say not that worth the price the panner bhurji and roti was much better and also kaju churma which we ordered was pretty good as it was made from gud and not sugar, but it's a bit costly as per the atmosphere as we were 3 and bill was of 1055! I would recommend it only if you want to go to such hi-fi places. It's good for a one time visit.

It is well-known for its Dal bati and various types of churma. The atmosphere is amazing and appealing. They have 4 types of chutney (onion chutney, tomato chutney, and bottle gourd chutney, cabbage chutney), two types of garlic paste, and two types of salad. Food quality is good, and the taste is fantastic. The service is excellent, and the staff is courteous and cooperative. The price is slightly higher than the other's. The cleanliness and hygiene are excellent. There is plenty of parking and a sitting area. UPI and card payments are also accepted.

If anyone is looking a place for particular dish dal batti taste in Ahmedabad other than highway side dhabha then this is the place you want to visit. They serve one of the finest taste of dal batti and churma, taste of food just like you are in rajasthan. Also the ambience adds up to the food. Prices are reasonable according to the place and food. One might face a problem for parking on a busy day. The staff is friendly and respectful I recommend friends or family to visit this place if you are in mood of some Rajasthani authentic food.

The place has an amazing ambience... A wide range of dal baatis and churma. Dal baati lovers can try Kaju dal baati... The baati itself comes with kaju..!! That seemed to be people's favourite. They do have a menu for non - dal baati lovers. Apparently, roti sabzi have an authentic Punjabi taste too.. Worth a try..!

Want to eat Dal bati?? you must go to JAIN DAL BATI. I went there so many times as I am a Dal bati fan. It's so much testy and you will find so many types of Dal bati. Service and ambience is class. Important thing is that the price is normal. It's affordable and you will surely enjoy idal bati. I didn't tried any other food like Punjabi and soup and desert. I just tried different different Dal bati and so far, all which I tried are excellent.

Rajasthan is famous for 2 things 1st is food specially Dal Bati and 2nd is historical places. If you get same taste of Dal Bati in Ahmedabad Gujarat then it is nothing like that we can say it is like the cherry on the cake moment. If you are fond of Dal Bati with have an authentic taste they you should just give it a try and I can assure you that you will never say no to visit again and again provided you being in love with A Dal bati.

Food is really good here. If you want to experience rajasthani dal bati choorma,this is the place you come. Ambience and internal decoration is quite unique and commemorative of Rajputana style. Apart from dal bati choorma you can also have indian punjabi dishes here.

Famous for variety of Dal Bati, the place serves a variety of traditional rajasthani dishes. The interiors are designed to suit a dhaba theme. With low lighting and some interesting seating options, the place surely does well on the theme. On the food front we tried Lahsuni dal Bati, Badam Dal Bati, Gud churma, Sev tamatar and Paratha. All items were pretty well made and perfect in quantity and taste. The lahsuni dal Bati was the best of the lot. The Bati were pretty crispy and hot and surely fresh. They also serve a variety of chutneys which go really well with dal Bati. Would surely visiting the place often to try out various other varities of Dal Bati. PS. Could not click photos of food items because they were directly served.

This place is worth visiting once.The interior is mind blowing and the food was damn delicious.Dal Bati was so yummy but i personally think the quantity they offered was not up to the mark as per the price. but over all the taste is what matters.. The taste makes u feel like you are eating dal bati at authentic Rajasthani place.

Everything was different from decor, lighting, sitting arrangements, food menu, to style of serving food. It literally looks like a small Rajasthani Dhani. If going in a group, make sure to book in advance as there’s a limited sitting area. <br/><br/>Now about food. Along with the authentic Rajasthani food, they serves other Northern Indian food too. Don't get tricked by the name Jain, they serve all items prepared with Onion and Garlic too. We ordered regular Daal Bati, which they serve with attractive platter of different chutneys, which enhances the taste of the food. Must try one!

I guess, This is my 4th Visit. I tried almost all types of bati like Jain Bati, Regular Bati, Lasaniya Bati, Kaju Bati. I loved all of them.<br/><br/>This time, we ordered Regular Bati, Lasaniya Bati, Cheese Roasted Papad.<br/><br/>Cheese Roasted Papad having lesser cheese (as you see in pic), you hardly get taste of it. When the name says Jain Dal bati, they should be mastering in making it. But the Jain dal felt just like an ordinary dal and service was not weak but no service at all. The roti was too thin to eat and the sabji was not hot. Asked for ice cubes as they served warm nimbu shikanji in this hot weather. Never got served until we left. I visited this place seeing the ratings on Zomato but now I think these ratings are not at all genuine. Won’t ever visit this place or suggest anyone. Just wasted my money. Disappointed by this restaurant and moreover the ratings given on Zomato. Why so?

Went there for the first time and i guess last too. The place is very cozy infact suffocating and too stinky. Their exhaust really does not work,the whole restaurent was full of some yuck smell.<br/>I guess hyegine is a big issue too. They help you to break batis,well I doubt their hand cleanliness.<br/>Taste was also ok. So overall not a worth visiting place. You can find better option in the city.

Amazing food and excellent varieties from Kherwara , Rajasthan. The service was excellent and very courteous staff. The vessel with varieties of chutney on table was not only colourful but lip smacking too. Tried dal batti and sadly was disappointed. Dont know they have some weird may be which didnt fasinated me dal combination. Ambience is good. Service is good but found food very ok. If you want to be adventurous and try some other dal combination you can try it !!!

Ordered the Dal bati lunch pack with sev tamata and roti. Rs. 199 for dal bati is ridiculous and they give 2 tiny bati in that. Both bati joined together will still be smaller than 1 bati served at any dal-bati place in Ahmedabad. The food was extremely spicy and the sev tamata was so spicy that it was not edible. Overall I would never recommend anyone ever to go here. It is extremely overpriced and inedible. Stay away from here.

The worst dal-bati money could buy. Definitely not worth trying even once. The sev tamatar was so spicy, completing it felt like partaking in a bird's-eye chili eating competition.

If you have been to Udaipur and stopped at Kherwara while coming back, you must be aware of Jain Dal Bati. The same family have opened up the branch in Ahmedabad a while ago. The best Dal Bati I ever had in my life. Even though you have never had it, or not a spicy food lover, you going to absolute love it! The authentic taste with pure ghee and all masalas blended perfectly. Courteous staff and budget friendly.

The dal they serve is spicy enough to go with either plain or garlic baati. I loved both batis. I loved their badam churma also. Butter milk is also amazing and must have with dal bati. They dont follow instructions. All items delivered are very spicy. Not great to eat and even zomato doesnt follow up with hotel. The customee service team of zomato also lethargic and ask for prompt reply when they dont know how to do there job. Zomato add a hotel even without proper check and dont do audit if the food delivered was as per instructions
