The restaurant is small but well managed. We went for breakfast. Standing dine in option is available. Delicious foods are there. Chutneys are so tasty. I like papaya chutney more tasty. Take ticket from the ticket counter and give it to the food counter. Self service. Take food items from the food counter and after finished of eating throw the disposable plates in the dustbin. Small place is available to wash hands and drinking water. And mineral water bottle is also available. No utensils and plastics are used to serve, they used only disposable papers. This is a great old school eatery. Loved the fare and I was happy to find that everything tastes just as good as it used to taste a decade ago.
Everything is freshly prepared, tastes authentic and gets delivered to your at lightning speed. It was also good to know that they have a good packaging option available if you want to travel with any of the dishes.
I would have given it a 5/5 if there were were bette seating options.
Kudos to the management and staff for running this establishment and maintaining its authenticity over the ages.

If you're looking for delicious, authentic Ganthiya and Dal Wada, look no further than Laxmi Ganthiya Rath. The quality of the food is outstanding, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a tasty and authentic food.
We went for breakfast. Shop was little busy. People there are very cordial. Very limited food options. Take away facility is also available. So many people are taking breakfast over the counter in prepaid mode. Standing dine in options available for 40 people at a time. Very spacious and clean. No utensils are used to serve the food. Only disposable piece of paper are used. So no cleaning required. Very much hygienic.
Coming to this place brings back lot of old memories 😝. Last I visited this place in 2013 when my college was nearer to this place. The taste of ganthiya and chatni is still the same. Ganthiya were hot and taken right out of the frying pan and it tasted really good. One of the best place to have ganthiya and jalebi with your friends and family. 👍
A great place to have some Gujarati snacks. Ambience wise the place ain’t that great, so we preferred a takeaway, but serves delicious food items. Had white khaman, yellow nylon khaman and ghaathiya. All of them were quite tastyy.
(Personal advise - The chutney with the khaman was better than one served with the ghaatiya, so consume ghaatiya with the same khaman chutney too, will taste better).
Must visit to taste Gathiya in Ahmedabad. Green chatni having a unique taste.

This is very good place for breakfast. because all food items are very tasty and of reasonable price.
but one problem I felt, there was no chairs to sit.

Famous place to try local gujrati breakfast items. We visited very early in the morning and they were preparing fresh fafda. We liked the taste of all items we tried.
However, there is no place to sit and eat. Plus it was difficult to order food as everything was written in gujrati.
Oct2022 : Taste and quality is maintained. New addition are Mix bhajia, Mirchi vada and fulwadi. All are just ok. Owner is friendly.
2017: One of the best ganthias in the country. Fafda, vanela, papdi. The best part is the chutney and sambharo that is available. The fried chilies are absolutely non-spicy.
They put one 3 box container on table and you can relish all of them as much as you want. The outlet is prepaid. You need to get a coupon from the billing counter 1st and handover to the live counter who will handover your food stuffs. Then you can have it inside where tables are placed. However no seating is provided.
They also have other snacks like khandvi, patra, methi na gota. Please avoid khandvi as it is tasteless.
I would suggest to stick to ganthias and some jalebi which is ultimate combination.
