Its the economic place for Gujarati & Kathyawadi food. They have Punjabi to offer too. Their Bajra rotlas, baingan bhartha, sev dungdi, masala kichdi is a must try. Just the thing is their dishes have too much oil but always tell them while ordering so you'll get less oil. Else taste is good.
Visited the place with Kaushal Thakkar, ordered bhakhri, masala khichdi, chaas, ghee, gor, sev dungri, and tawa rotis. Food was great, and had actually spicy chillies with the pickle and onions which I loved. Bang for buck and tickle for the taste buds !
Awesome place for Gujarati Thali. A very good atmosphere inside the dining hall, cleanliness is highly maintained. It is a Gujarati traditional place. Service is superb over here.

Authentic Gujarati Thali. It consists of almost all Gujarati delicacies. The Thali costs around 400 per person and you get unlimited food. The buttermilk was the best, I had tried ever. If you are in Ahmedabad, do pay a visit to this place and you won't regret it.

I knew from the moment I walked in this was the right choice for lunch. Spacious and well laid out with scrupulously clean metal thalis on the table ready to go. No sooner was I seated than a bottle of water was procured without request and the food started coming. WOW. I'm very well used to the Sth Indian style of thali but had never had the Gujarati version. Two-bite samosas with a lovely sweet filling were a firm favourite, tiny pooris just right for filling with curry and getting stuck into and crunchy small pappads filled the plate...repeatedly. The curries were absolutely delicious and just kept coming. Finished off with a divine vanilla custard that was quite sweet but tempered with sultanas. The flavours were different to what I was used to and I enjoyed it immensely. I was so full I had to get an auto rickshaw back to my hotel and have a lie down!

We went here on our last day at Ahemdabad And I really wanted to have a traditional Gujarati thali. This restaurant fulfilled my wish. The food here was incredible, and the service was really fast. Totally recommend to everyone else.
Great place to experience Gujrat hospitality in their famous thali & chaas. Do stop by when very hungry & is the right place to indulge after shopping at Law Gardens market.

Best test of Gujarati traditional food, every item served in the dish is precisely good. Service is superb over here. Price is around 290 (for adult) of a dish, which I guess worth for this.

Heard a lot about this place and had to visit once when I was in Ahmedabad.
Went along with my friends on a scorch afternoon to satisfy our hunger and also rest a bit.
The ambience is not classy, royal but pretty simple and sufficient. We ordered 3 thalis and were served with variety of dishes which included Currys, pooris,chapati, some pagodas, chutney, sweets as well along with a refreshing glass of buttermilk. Also, this is an unlimited thali and would cost around 330 per person.
