Place for authentic Andhra meals. Tried out the poorna meals, the pappu, sambar, curries were authentic. To add to this, the powders with ghee and rice hit closer to home. Payasam was good too. Good hosts and quick service. One of the must visit places for Andhra food in Ahmedabad.
In love with this place for authentic Andhra food. All idles are awesome specially Vijayawada idly, Guntur idly and charminar idly. Must try charminar dhosa and Nellur dhosa. Must also try lemon rice and curd rice.
Very Authentic, Fresh, Tasty, Best served, real Andhra cuisine. Such nice owners taking personal care of their customers is something new. Worth a visit.

I am a big fan of Andhra style cuisine.. I had it many times in Vishakhapatnam.... Nellorewadi mess , Attarillu etc.... For last 6years I was craving it as dint got it anywhere , even in Banglore I dint find it ( Nagarjuna was closed ) and all of a sudden I found this.. Annam in Makarba @ Ahmedabad and since I wanted to visit this place. So in my recent visit to Ahmedabad I with my dad and friend visited this place... "Don't judge this place for it's area or interior or the size of the restaurant".
It was a rainy day and we visited for lunch and As soon as we entered we were welcomed by two most humble owners Mr. And Mrs. Shah. I was 2000% sure what I was going to eat and it was Sampoorna Andhra Meal... We ordered..

Plain idly - It was good specially Sambhar and chutney we're Yummm. Rating (7/10)
Masala Dosa - it was a regular Masala Dosa but the Flavour of Masala filling was great and the icing on the cake was spoon full of Butter. Yummmmmm. Rating (8/10)

He was actually very curious as well as tensed for the quality and Flavour of the food, and he asked for idly but the aunty told that go for something different as he was trying it for the first time but he finally ordered....
Nellore Dosa - It was an open Dosa stuffed with masala spreaded , spices , onion and loads of butter... The Flavours were perfect for the tongue. We all liked it . Rating (8.5/10)
Char minar Idly - What a dish it was... Idly Friend with gunpowder, chillies , spices and again Butter which enhanced the Flavour. Superb is the word for it. Rating (9.5/10)
Filter coffee - It was a regular coffee served traditionally with steel cup and bati. Rating (7/10)

Rating (100/10) yes.... It was simply Awesome, lucious, mouth watering delicious.... I have no words how to describe this....
The owner guided us the way to eat it as they have in Andhra... Person involvement of the owners was very good.... Mr. Shah himself served us the food as we weren't their customer but as a family member.. They should grow Bigg...
I forgot about the sweet they serve.... Kesari Bhaat or kesari sira... Mildly sweet , pampered with Ghee... Mast 8/10

Visited last night for dinner.... A must go visit place if you genuinely love Andhra meals and south Indian as well...
Although location wise it's bit away from main market and place have a bit smaller sitting area to occupy limited persons but trust me all this doesn't matter when u get ultimate tummy satisfying food.. I have genuinely visited to have andhra meal and have ordered the same...
All the items were perfect and Up to the mark annam, Pappu, koora, pacchadi, appalam, chutney etc.. Service a good and really loved being here.... Don't miss if your in OR around prahladnagar...

Excellent Andhra thali! I am about to go into a rice and ghee induced coma. The owners are generous with the servings and you get the personal service. The taste is about as close to being in Andhra as you can get.
