Just saw this place on my enroute to Trivandrum from Cochin and decided to give it a try for breakfast as it was on highway .The breakfast at 170 per person had egg, appam , fruits , dosa etc and all that u expect from a decent kerala breakfast . Also went there on my way back to have a cafe mocha and it was great . A good place to stop if you r driving through this route .
Himalaya Bakery is on the Allepuza-Kochi highway and one of the nice places to eat. They have plenty of options in snacks/lunch. We ordered Chicken Sandwich & Egg Sandwich, both were equally delicious and so was the Butterscotch Shake..It's a place with good ambience. The place is filled with aroma of freshly baked bakery stuff. If you are hungry and looking for quick bites then this is the place to go. Very economical as well..
Am already visited 3,4 times also his Restaurant and took some parcel.Very tastfull dishes. Especially expresso. Gud staff. Will suggest my friends also

At first the impression that one gets is that this place is a bakery. But once inside, you feel the difference. It is a full fledged restaurant. Just visited today evening. Situated just a step away from the national highway on the way to Trivandrum from Ernakulam, it is a wayfarers delight. The food here is exemplary. The service was courteous and the ambience great. The first floor is well furnished and is ideal for a tired wayfarer in search of good quality food at decent rates.
Recently purchased diwali sweets from kalavoor outlet . I am really happy with the sweet they are providing good quality sweets little bit disappointed with the rush.. But i think its because of the church.. anyway happy with the product
A really great place to eat while traveling on the NH47. Has buffet system with a variety of dishes from traditional to Western. Serene ambience. Has a lovely bakery on the ground floor. Definitely worth the visit.

Was starving when I got here today and this place jus made my day. Delicious meals / buffet at a very reasonable rate; splendid service cum ambience + the ease of access!! ++ the bakery goodies that you grab on to on ur way back :-)
Visited the bakery to have shakes but disappointed to see only limited varieties. Unique shop to have only items made by the bakery and limited items from other vendors.
Ample parking space and good restrooms.
A spacious bakery with ample parking space, this is a perfect place to relax during a long drive. Their bakery items like buns, sweet bread, cupcakes, jackfruit chips, cream buns, fruity breads, and jam rolls are delicious and not oily like the ones in the market. They had less items available for main course though and I wouldn’t recommend it for meals. If you want snacks and drinks, this is a great option.
They have lots of packaged products.

Good quality food and friendly staff. Reasonable price. But lack of staff leads to delay in order taking and delivering food.
