This place will take you to back to the old times. Small place, very limited seats. Tasty food (traditional kerala style) worth the money paid. Best time to visit would be after 1 pm. Majority- Seafood varieties. Friendly people. Definitely worth visiting once

Awesome experience, Lots of varieties in fish. Meals with fish fry and curry is popular. Not very expensive. They have another space where a lot of people will accomadate nearby, Which is more clean and not congested. This is also called as "Vaidyarude Kada"

If you like to taste a large variety of sea food and fishes cheaply, this is the right place. Smitha hotel, better known locally as "Vaidyarude Kada" is a very small village hotel. The place can seat only around fifteen people at a time. A large variety of fish, crab, prones etc are served daily here. During lunch time, the rush is heavy on most days and you will have to wait for some time to get a seat. When compared to posh restaurants, the rates are amazingly cheap. People with very high standards may not like the environment, but once you taste the food, you will really love this place. I have visited this place on many occasions and had varieties of food. Please who can adjust with the limited facilities here can taste the natural food here. The hotel can improve a lot and make the place more attractive.
