Disappointed with the Altered Taste of Chaaps at Amritsari Zaika
I recently visited Amritsari Zaika, a well-known restaurant known for its delicious chaaps. Having enjoyed their chaaps on previous visits, I was excited to indulge in the flavorful and succulent dishes once again. However, my recent experience left me disappointed as the taste of the chaaps has noticeably changed, and it did not meet my expectations.
The chaaps at Amritsari Zaika used to be a delightful culinary experience. The perfectly marinated and tender chaaps were known for their aromatic spices and rich flavors. The blend of traditional spices infused into the meat created a mouthwatering sensation with every bite. It was a treat for the taste buds and a highlight of dining at Amritsari Zaika.
Unfortunately, during my recent visit, I found that the chaaps no longer possessed the same irresistible taste that I had come to love. The flavors seemed dull and lacked the robustness that once made them stand out. The marination appeared to be different, resulting in a loss of the distinctive tang and aromatic spices that used to define their chaaps. It felt like a departure from the authentic flavors I had savored before.
While taste preferences can vary, and it's possible that others may still enjoy the new rendition of the chaaps, my personal experience left me unsatisfied. I had expected the same level of excellence that Amritsari Zaika had established with its chaaps, and it was disappointing to witness the change in flavor.
However, it's worth mentioning that Amritsari Zaika continues to provide a pleasant dining experience overall. The ambiance remains inviting, and the service is attentive and friendly. The menu also offers a variety of other Punjabi delicacies that may still appeal to diners seeking an authentic taste.
In conclusion, if you were a fan of the chaaps at Amritsari Zaika, you might be disappointed with the recent change in their taste. The once vibrant and flavorful chaaps have undergone a noticeable alteration that may not meet your expectations. Nevertheless, taste experiences can be subjective, so it's possible that others may find enjoyment in the new flavor profile.
The food is very tasty. The quality and the quantity is also good.Thali,s is the best option if you try different tastes at the same time..1 Thali is enough for 1 person but bread (roti) needs to be added extra that's not a good, reason is u get only 2 breads.
Dine in area is not so good.its ok
Car parking is not available but here the security guard arranges.
Overall food is delicious.
Their barbeque items are just wow.

I am writing this review@ Hotel Centre Point Srinagar so that no one get cheated and make mistake like me, we have lost our hard earned money, it is really very painful. We have booked this hotel after reading reviews for 2 deluxe rooms 16 th to 21st March 2022( first mistake) via Make my trip, earlier it was like pay at the property but after booking they have asked for full payment which we have paid immediately (second mistake), on arrival scene was totally different from picture shown, dust , garbage everywhere like property is not in use, they have shown rooms which didnāt looked hygienic, bed cover was like some one has vomitted, there was big spot on it, then they have upgraded and showed another one which was also same just bigger, being 50 year old and dust allergic my main criteria was clean room, they donāt know how to maintain and housekeeping of 3 star hotel, we didnt clicked any picture ( third mistake) so we didnt checked in and left that place and both MMT and Centre Point ate our money, even we were ready for some deduction but they denied to return single penny, it is very painful when you loose your hard earned money. MMT was asking for proof of clicked pictures.

Must visit place for chaap and tandoori lovers (vegetarian only). I am huge fan of their chaap (especially malai chaap, tawa chaap masala and rumali roti), their momos are also mouth watering (especially tandoori momos). Mostly i order their food online Prices are little bit expensive but overall place is decent !
The area (station road) is crowdy so it will be better if you bring your two wheelers !

They provide tasty and a quality food near railway station, they specialise in Soya chaap recipie and it was really good i recommed to visit and try one time and i believe you loved it
Best restaurant and all food have great taste. And all delivery options available in this restaurant like swiggy and zomato and at best price with many offers . And also taste the maharaja thali and the delilux thai are best. Please keep it up .
