I went here for my birthday and I had an insane time. I have never ordered brinjal/aubergine/baingain at a restaurant but on this occasion I ordered it three times! Recheado Baingan was the winner of the night! Delicious recheado masala enveloping the baingan served with cream cheese and warm poi. We also had thinly sliced kohlrabi with crispy garlic but we would have liked more of it. Then we ordered tapioca puffs with a really delicious dip. We also ordered slivered okra as a snack along with our drinks. Drinks wise, I ordered the Mahua spritz and was underwhelmed by it. I later switched to Red wine Sangria and loved it. My husband ordered Mallu Mai Tai twice. Everyone else at the table ordered various prawns and chicken dishes and overall everyone loved the food. We had many friends here so the social vibe was amazing. Our server Imran was very patient as we were a large group. Overall, I loved this place and would love to visit again.
The dark chocolate mousse here is to die for.
The first time we tried it, we ended up calling for one more round.
Last week ordered 7 dark chocolate mousse for my complete family.
They are really amazing
Dark chocolate mousse ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ for the winn
What a wonderful experience we had at Mahe. I visited there on Saturday with family the place had a great ambience. The food and cocktails are amazing and very tasty. The visit to Mahe was totally worth it and happening Great nightlife place must visit.
I tried Red snapper ceviche and the fish Curry with Pickled Onion. I really enjoyed the food and the ambience was amazing. Highly recommended.
One of the best places we visited in Goa, the food is just delicious and the cocktails definitely deserve a big mention.we visited in Saturday night and enjoyed the live music band. Must try: Kerala beef fry, preseved aubergine, roasted cauliflower, Pomfret grilled fish, Srilankan mutton curry.
Will go back on our next outing!
This place situated in heart of Anjuna has been making the much needed buzz since forever!!!
We happened to try it for lunch and our experience was really soothing with the calmness.
When it comes to food.. WOW!! Had one of the kind dishes and presentation was so good. Indeed it turned out our lunch into much special one!!
Must try: Prawns balchao, Chicken wings, Crispy okra, Chicken chettinad with Dosa, Pradhaman Panna Cotta
Cost: Most of the items lie in range of 350 to 450 bucks.
Visited this place for my husband's birthday on my cousin's recommendation.
Wow is the word that could describe the service, the food and the ambience. It was a wonderful experience and there was nothing short or missing. Definitely a must try when in Goa.
We ordered a bunch of dishes, and everything was excellent. Especially the roasted cauliflower, chicken wings, spicy prawns fry, aubergine.
Yummy food, best service and very unique disehs
Visited Mahe Goa recently.. the food was just outstanding.. The Dishes they serve are something different and presented in a very unique way.
Their Cured Mahi Mahi , Preserved Aubergine, Prawns Balchao , mahe prawns curry are a must must must try.. 👍👍
The dark Chocolate Mousse is heavenly 😍
I highly recommend this place... 👍
Compliments to the Chef, really. He personally attended to us, which was a very gratifying gesture. We ended up ordering the fish with mashed peas again, it was so heavenly. We were lucky to be there on a breezy evening with the moon up in its full grandeur. The ambience of the outdoor seating is second to none. I had a wonderful, wonderful evening at Mahe.
One of the hidden gem in anjuna.
Highly recommend the following - Aubergine Recheado, Roast beef with kombu jus, Beef Carpaccio, Telicherry pepper and parota !!
Usually my friends do not enjoy aubergine, but they went for a second serving! Superb quality and amazing service ✅
Mahé is a restaurant one must surely visit if you are around Anjuna. Their diverse menu is loaded with authentic coastal dishes.
To start with, we ordered the Kokam Shrub and for starters - Cured Mahi Mahi.
Mahi Mahi is a 3 day cured Mahi fish which is a kind of sushi but tastes nothing like a raw fish. It is served with coriander oil and coconut milk which makes it absolutely delicious.
For main course it was Prawns Sukka which is served with one mini dosa and Slow Roasted Pork Ribs which is served with Kanji rice. Along with these, we ordered goan Poie. I don’t want to use long words here, so in short, they were amazing.
For dessert we ordered Pradhaman Panna Cotta which is made with moong dal & milk with cardamom sprinklings. It has the consistency of a caramel custard and tastes outstanding.
My wife @thefoodiecurls (insta) picked out this gem of a place so a big thanks to her!
Definitely Try Mahé - Modern Coastal Cuisine
Gorgeous building and artistic interiors. We sat indoors for lunch but the AC wasn’t working or the room was too large to get cold fast. The staff was sweet enough to put a fan for us. The curries were really good, specially the veg malabar stew. Staff was friendly and recommended the specials and shared what it was made of. It was a nice experience. I Recommended!
We had the most superb dinner last night. Restaurant wasn't crowded and Chef Dhruv guided us to order an excellent meal.
We had cocktails like Mallu Mai Tai, watermelon mojito and Classic martini.
we then ordered small plates
Beef tellicherry pepper,Saluja chingri (prawns),chicken ghee roast. There was accompanying poi and mini dosa. we ordered an extra dosa.
Main course Fish pulimulago, roasted coconut chicken, ghee rice. Dessert Pradhan pannacotta and dark chocolate mousse. EVERY DISH was excellent.
It's a fine dining restaurant and prices are accordingly so.
Total meal cost us Rs 6400 for 4 of us. we are senior citizens and maybe younger people would eat and drink more but for us it was our best meal in Goa.
A fantastic resturant serving modern coastal cuisine all the from Goa to Kerala. Loved every dish that we tried there and it's a highly recommended place if you are in Goa. Their cocktails are also good.
Mahe was incredible. Upmarket coastal dining at its finest! Cocktails were delicious and the service extremely accommodating and knowledgeable of the menu. Not to forget it’s located in an old Portuguese house which has its own vibes. Please do visit the place, I will be on my next trip to Goa
The decor in the restaurant is well put together which makes it a very comfortable place to dine at. I went there for dinner with the family and we tried out a couple of things on their menu. The chorizo with the poached egg was a little too oily for me personally but the server was kind enough not to charge me for the same. The roast beef with kombu jus and pickled radish was really good. We also tried the prawn curry which was beautiful. The Kerala beef fry was very well done and we enjoyed it. Overall it was a lovely dinner.
Great food! We tried the dishes which were most recommended in Google reviews and were not disappointed.
It's a bit overpriced but worth the once in a while indulgence.
Panacotta was light and creamy with notes of cardamom and coconut!
Beautiful ambience. 150 years old goan heritage home restored into a restaurant.
Very spacious feel.
Not overdone from any Angle.
Staff has great patience to take the order as the menu is little complicated and less informative. But the staurts have full knowledge to guide and order to best suitability.
Arajit Tikadar is best at his job.
We tried veg/ non veg both.
Dishes have their own versatility over flavours.
Must try is pradhaman panna cotta from desserts section.
Preserved aubergine is also very tasty.
Crispy okra is overated.
......
Best part is that Mr. Sandeep (the owner )
Comes to each and every table personally for feedback and satisfies every customer with his great hospitality and makes one walk out with a happy heart.
