My hobby was doing a gourmet tour in Tokyo, Japan. I have visited many restaurants, many cafes, and I have experienced many Japanese flavors. Currently living in Himachal, India. In February, enjoy a vacation at goa. There are few Japanese restaurants in Himachal, so I always visit irori when I come to goa. Choose many menus and eat many dishes. I will visit the store many times during my stay. I want to stay at goa until I have eaten all the menus. The quality of the fly is the same as that of a luxury store in Japan. Sushi rolls are delicious no matter which one you choose. Meat dishes have a soft Japanese-style texture. For fish dishes, the delicate flavor of Kingfish is perfect.
This is a real find, Japanese serviced Goan Style, they certainly know what they are doing. Set away from a busy road you can enjoy dinner with just the gentle chatter of the other guests enjoy a feast of breathtaking food. They let you know not to rush your dinner as it is cooked fresh to order, you can even see the chef cook it. Do try the wings, I have never had such juicy large ones, packed with flavour. The Tuna was outstanding. Will be back next year to sample more. The Bathroom has to be the cleanest I have seen in a restaurant so far. It is a cash only place so take rupees with you. We spent about 3000 so take 5000 with you if you are hungry
This is as close to authentic Japanese food as you’ll ever get, in Goa. Subtle flavours, precision cuts, great presentation, this is Zen at its typical best. And not to forget, great portions and very decent pricing. We ordered sushi, salad, thin sliced ginger pork, teriyaki chicken, minced pork with rice, fish teriyaki, stewed pork with boiled egg, all superb! And after a really long time, wasabi that was worth its weight in gold! They have a limited drinks (alcoholic) menu though.. but then the main attraction here is the food..... in case you’re going for dinner, go early because they are known to run out of servings later !
