Turned out to be Krishna Janmashtami. As a rule then my grandmother whom I was with that day suggested no non-vegetarian for the entire day. After much discussion on what else could be ordered, Italian came to mind and more specifically - Pizza. Aside from the usual Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc...to my surprise I came to know that you can Swiggy from The Grand Hyatt and that their Pizza is good! And so we did.... Food Packaged obviously well and as per Hyatt standard we ordered a pasta and a pizza. The pasta was Aglio e Olio (translates to garlic with oil) and is usually served as a Spaghetti. The pizza was a Mediterranean vegetable pizza. Pasta Well done with plenty of garlic and oil as the name suggests. Could we have had more Parmesan cheese for a bit of oomph? Sure...but it was great on its own. Pizza The base itself was decent, but could have been more Neopolitan - the way I like my pizza with a slight sourness to the dough and less loaded on the toppings. This pizza had jalapenos, mushrooms, onions and some more vegetables making it quite filling and heavy to look at even! Still flavourful and nice! Overall, a recommendation for the sheer convenience of knowing the Grand Hyatt can come to your doorstep!

We had our breakfast buffet here during our stay in grand hyatt. The breakfast menu was sumptuous, and everything tasted lovely. They have a huge range of food both in veg and non veg. And also have multiple range spreading across Indian, Mediterranean, Italian, American cuisines etc. Everyone was really nice to us , since we were travelling with our infant, they made sure to arrange food as per our and baby likings. For eg. They made paneer paratha without making it spicy. Also providing us the fresh juice at room temperature. They also had many live counters where you can get the food as per your taste and requirements. Overall a lovely 5 star restaurant.

We had ordered Caesar salad, Rajastani Paneer Tikka, Alfredo pasta, Italian smooch and chocolate shake. Caesar salad tasted bitter, Paneer tikka was good,Pasta was lip-smacking, portion was sufficient for two. Loved the Italian smooch. Usually when ice melts in the drink, the drink gets diluted and tastes different. But this tasted the same till the last sip. Lastly, chocolate shake was decent, my kid loved it. 😀 Ambience was lovely. From Outdoor seating, you can see the lawn and bit of beach view.

Undoubtedly the most eclectic buffet spreads in the country! Yes, it’s a very bold statement, but it’s true. Having travelled across India and having stayed in a plethora of luxury hotels, I can confidently say that The Dining Room undoubtedly has the finest spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner. What’s more, their Sunday brunch menu is insanely extravagant! They call it the wicked liquid brunch. For a paltry sum of 2,000++ you can drink yourself silly with premium white spirits, whiskeys, rums, wines and wait for the kicker : champagne! If you couldn’t be bothered with the exotic spread of Indian, Chinese, Middle Eastern and European dishes, just feast on the exotic cheeses and cold cuts. The salads too, are super fresh. There’s a sushi and sashimi station too! Lastly, PLEASE throw your diet out the window for the day. An entire section is devoted to the most sumptuous international desserts, Indian halwas and fresh gelatos. If you succumb to food coma, Don’t be surprised!

GrandHyatt:Mother of all brunches! Our curiousity was up when we were told tht,the hyatt brunch is the most talked about brunch in GOA! Goa is about sun, sand, food and fenny. Well when u arrive at the hyatt its a grand arrival. The foyer is completely covered with pick up and drops. The lobby walks u into a expansive stairways leading u to the coffeeshop. Ambience:Coffeeshop:With all 3sides full length windows bringing in the sun much needed in GOA.The modern yet comfortable seating puts u at ease almost immediately. Staff:We had a very sweet girl attending our table. She was quick, attentive and extremely courteous. Chefs:They are there to pamper ur taste-buds with an extravagant spread. There was a huge bar set-up.Ur wish was their command.Free-flowing bacardi, wines, champagne.Mocktails, cocktails they have it all. They had on the brunch spread:Muhammara, labenah, fattoush, hummus. All kept in cold fridge, extremely delicious. Chaats our favourites here were palak chaat:crispy spinach topped with tamarind and mint chutney and nylon sev.Mouth-watering! The dahi pakodi chaat:This was with cool curd sweet and the tamarind chutney which was tangy and sweet. The pakodis were crisp.Divine bliss! They do an array of breads with a huge variety of cheese selection! From chhedar,to brie,to emmenthal et all.If ur a cheese fan,u hv come to the right place. Pizza is on order and guess what!U can reach out at the cheese table choose ur choice of cheeze and the chef will politely oblige u with tht particular pizza for u. Gnocchi 4way:They had in pesto sauce,4types of gnocchi's.Beetroot,pumpkin,spinach,ricotta.This had us blown away.Soft, pillowy, melt in the mouth gnocchi with fragrant pesto sauce oozing with pine-nuts.Way to go! They do an array of seafood selection in grills and pan-seared.All ur sea-food cravings come, complete here.Hygienic, clean good fresh catch of the day. They also have an array of continental non-vegetarian spread. The paneer tikka was in red marination.Tandoored to perfection! The corners are burnt and crisp and the center is soft with redmarination of redchilli and curd adding the tartness. The non-veg shwarma had a bee-line. The sushis stole the show for us.Perfect! The indian mains has sea-food all written over it. The veg indians had bhindi kurkure, kofta, veg korma, chole, dalpanchmel, on our request chef has promised he will put goan too from next sunday. The desserts are mind-boggling! The eggless english variety is worth a mention. They even have an eggless cone for icecream. This hype thts on abt this brunch is all correct and speaks the right-words. Should u visit?Go for it Pricefactor:3600++nonalcohol HappyEating!

The Dining Room is Grand Hyatt Goa's in-house restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Food : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited this restaurant as we were staying in the same hotel and wanted to try out the dining experience. Food was top-notch. From the lunch buffet we'd ordered Mutton Vindaloo, Dum Chicken, Red Sauce Risotto, Whole spices Pulao, Vegetarian Pizza. Low rating in Ambience is not the Hotel's fault. It is because the visitors were not following covid appropriate behaviour. 3 out of 5 visitors could be seen without a mask. The restaurant needs to enforce this strictly.

The sunday brunch at Hyatt is worth visiting with great service, ambience and food. It has a nice spread of different varieties of food. From Indian, Chinese, Middle Eastern and European dishes. The desserts counter was really good too and we enjoyed most of the desserts on offer. The service was spot on and the staff were courteous and warm. A special mention to Akash Sahu who made our brunch experience so memorable. He was very friendly, attentive and courteous. I highly recommend the sunday brunch and I would definitely be back soon.
